In PS CC the space bar deletes layers

I am using PS CC 14.1.2x64 with Windows 7. Whenever I have more than one layer and try to use the space bar to activate the hand tool, it deletes all the layers above background instead.

This really sounds like something is rotten with the Keyboard shortcuts! Are you absolutely certain you checked Edit/Keyboard Shortcuts? Have you tried selecting the "Photoshop Defaults" set?

Why do none of the links that I put in my outgoing yahoo emails no longer underline themselves and become live when I finish typing them and hit the space bar?

Previously, when I typed my email address in an outgoing email or cut and pasted a link from my browser bar the link would become 'live' when I hit the space bar or 'enter' key. The link would turn blue and underline itself and the person receiving the email could just click on that live link and be taken to the site. Now the link does not turn blue or underline itself and the receiver must cut and paste the link into their browser bar to use it.
Why? I did not change anything in Yahoo or Mozilla.
I have deleted and reinstalled Java to no effect. I am using html in Yahoo.

As it turns out, many others have been having similar issues on other browsers. It seems that maybe Yahoo! is taking a much longer time to load or something like that. Either way, its been working on and off all week, and the same issue even showed up yesterday with IE 8 instead of FF. It still loads faster than IE 8, but again is spotty. Some people think the issue may be with mail.yimg.com or s.yimg.com, which I could see was the loading url in the left corner whenever Yahoo! Mail was refusing to work. A couple of people said blocking it caused the issue. Alternatively, some people suggested blocking it to solve the problem. Does anyone have any information on that? Again, I have no add-ons that would be blocking any urls, and my firewall hasn't any records of it. I really don't want to do anything to mess up my browsers more than they may have already been. Besides DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Creative Suite 6 is the only software on the machine. I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit Operating System on AMD FX 6100 six-Core Processor at 3.31gHz and 32 GB RAM memory. There are two SLI-bridged GTX680 NVidia cards.
The software was very stable for the last six months, working with 720P proxy files from 2.5K masters (Blackmagic Design Camera). I am working on a feature-length project that exceeds 1000 edits. I have broken the file into 2 one hour segments.
I have deactivated the software before reinstalling the entire OS from scratch. PP6 was very stable for 48 hours. Then the freezing space bar returns. After a dozen strokes into the project, same problem. I have made cache files store next to originals, I have deleted preview files if they were corrupted and causing instability. Am I missing something?
I have Microsoft Security Essentials for virus protection. I double checked the memory for damage/defect. Nothing says that the motherboard or other components are damaged.
I am in film competition overseas and need to have deliverables in less than a month's time. I lost the last two weeks troubleshooting and this crisis came at an inopportune moment of the project.

Still getting software freezes but found a way to mitigate for the mean time.
Upon launching Adobe Premiere Pro, hit CTRL-ALT-DEL to launch TaskManager as well.
You will want to highlight Adobe QT32 Server.exe
Right click and select "End Process Tree"
You will get considerable stability in the program, long enough to get timing of cuts done. Be sure to save often.
If the program freezes, do not hit Save. You definitely want to avoid saving the corruption into your TimeLine
CTRL-ALT-DEL to relaunch the TaskManager and highlight Adobe Premiere Pro.exe
Right-click to "End Process"
No need to reboot the whole system; just launch Premiere Pro again and continue with the session. Note that your work reverted to Last Save.
Hope this helps until the bug is fixed.

Sounds like a hardware problem. When you updated, that would have wiped the device and installed the latest iOS, thus pretty much eliminating a software issue. You could try to restore as new, i.e. without your backup and see if it works factory fresh. If still a problem, it's most likely a hardware issue.

You're welcome. The other consists of album art, contacts, calendars etc.. It can not be deleted.

string before = standard space
string after = EN QUAD ($2000)

Get the letter "B" after double tapping the space bar.

How do I stop the B? It's either hit or miss. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

Hi! When I double click the space bar, it makes a period, which I love. What drives me crazy is that it thinks I'm double clicking the space bar quite frequently, so it'll insert a period in the middle of the sentence. How can I make my space bar less sensitive? I know that I can turn off the period shortcut, but I would prefer to leave it on, just with a less sensitive keyboard setting. Help!

It sounds like the space key is getting worn out. You may need to get the device exchanged under warranty if it's less than a year old.

Have a JTree and a TreeSelectionListener that listens.
If the focus is on the tree and most of keys are pressed nothing happens.
However, if the focus is on the tree and the space-bar is pressed then the TreeSelectionListener.valueChanged(TreeSelectionEvent e) method is called.
How is it possible to know that the TreeSelectionListener.valueChanged(TreeSelectionEvent e) is called due to the space-bar press and not due to common tree navigation.

All new keyboards need Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and above for full functionality.
Rather short-sighted of Apple perhaps, but that seems to be a trend these days.
I'm afraid the only fix is to upgrade to SL. Personaly, I'd take it back and get a refund and seek an older keyboard or a third-party one elsewhere.
