In real trouble, can not even do a safe start. Help!!!

My desktop G4 using OS 10.3.9 has been crashing at a great rate as I attempt to do and burn an iMovie. It just now crashed again as it was burning a iMovie using iDVD.
However, this time I could not re-start it. I tried a safe start to no avail. I then tried a regular start and after a long wait I got a text screen showing a slew of "USB set up errors" then I got "Welcome to open firmware" showing time and date. Followed by the insructions, "Type mac-boot to continue or shut-down to stop". I chose to continue. I got

At this point I am in another text program that I can not do anything with. If I type mac-boot it just shuts down again. Frustrating.
Sounds scary to me - what say you.
I am using iLife 06.

you may want to be careful running your computer with the side door down for long periods. the internal airflow of the computer can be jeopardized by doing so and although you may think the processors are getting overtly hot from processing you may create more work for the fans.
processors and HD's can run at temps of over 130 degrees without problems.
sure they feel hot as heck but they are operating in proper parameters.
My experience with DVDR bruner internal I discovered works best in the top optical bay as the Fan that blows air over the drives is positioned best for the top optical drive bay. I used a Pioneer DVDR in the lower drive bay and had countless drive issues. when moved it to the top optical bay it has been running pretty much flawlessly since.
Having a Fan blow cool air is good idea around the Mac. the MDD front under the lower handle has vents that should stay unblocked if you want proper air intake for the computer. I read of people mounting mini fans inside the front lowere HD bay to help pull in room air as the Main system fan may not be doing a proper job.
Sometimes a PCI Slot cooler can also help cool, the upper part of the computer insides.

Is there any timeline soon that apple users will be able to open things that need adobe flash player? I can not even play any games on Facebook, I can't open certain files, pictures sent to me or things like forms I news to see when I am not home

I am so frustrated about Adobe Flash player. I can not play any Facebook games, open certain files and pictures and documents that I need to access because not only does this phone not do it but my old Palm Pre couldn't do it either. I have had so many times where I needed to access things either online or via email, or message that I can not even look at because of this. I have to wait until I for home or ask someone else to do it for me which is embarrassing. I rave about my iPhone 4S all the time because it is truly great except for this. When it use to happen with my Pal Pre I figures once I got my iPhone that it wouldn't happen anymore but I guess I was completely wrong. I have had this problem for years and always get a message saying that it's being worked on. Well a couple of years is a long time to work on it. I understand about contracts and stuff but why is it taking a company such as Apple to be able to get it for their products? I get a lot and always want to play the games on Facebook but I can't do it on most of them at least the ones I have tried. So I can not play against anyone at that time I have to wait until I get home or use someone else's computer or something. Please tell me that in the extremely near future that this will not be a problem anymore. PLEASE!! I am sure I am not the only one out there who is having issues and if you do get it available please let there be an upload/upgrade for current phones and not just for future versions of Apple phones. That just wouldnt be very fair to all of your loyal customers and tell everyone to get your products because they are great and end up leaving this little problem out until they by your phone. Especially if they just got the phone they have. You guys are awesome with technology I have faith that you can make this available to all Apple products old and new by uploads or upgrades. Try holding down the Command key and dragging the file well off the sidebar.

I have the same problem, and the solutions in Error changing modules | Lightroom do not work. Even uninstalling and reinstalling a new copy did not solve the problem. As anyone got an idea what other lingering files might be causing the problem?

Try double tapping with three fingers and see if that reduces the screen image. If it does, unlock the iPad and go to Settings>General>Accessibility>zoom>Off. If double tapping with three fingers doesn't work, try triple tapping the home button instead.

You mean the default OS X mail app? Try reinstalling OS X Yosemite if that's the case.
If you are referring to 3rd party mail applications, that's a compatibility issue. Some apps don't work in the new operating system. You have to wait until the developer updates the app, or you have to revert back to Mavericks to continue using it.

Sold a package i can not even get?

So this last week my infinity 2 has be horrendous. It's taken 8 days to sort out the constant disconnects and now my internet is running at what i thought was half speed for my line (30MBs up compared to the 74MBs i'm supposed to be getting).
So i was amazed and astounded when the customer support told me the max that my line could take was 44MBs. Have i been paying for infinity 2 for the last 2 years, when, according to customer support, i could only ever get the speed of infinity 1?
Can anyone shed some light as to what the hell is going on? Do i need to think about making a court case for being sold a package that i can not even get or do BT need to properly train their CS employee's to read the correct information from their screens?

I have an engineer coming out next wednesday to apparently try and bump my line back up to the supposed 44MBs my line can now handle, but for me this isn't good enough.

The sync speed is the speed of the low level connection between the cabinet and the modem. That is determined by the cab and the modem, based on the rules of Digital Line Management (DLM).
The ip profile is a limit imposed at the exchange (or somewhere near there) on the higher level (PPPoE) connection between the exchange and the HomeHub)router. The idea of the IP profile is to prevent your data being sent from the exchange to the cabinet faster than the cabinet can pass it on to you. The IP profile is automatically set from the sync speed whenever a high level connection is re-established. It is set to a value just below the sync speed (around 96.8%), to allow for certain overheads. The actual download speed will be at best a little less still because of yet more overheads.
The sync speed is automatically adjusted when the low level connection breaks, or when DLM decides to give you slightly more or less speed (usually in the middle of the night to limit disruption). Often a break in the low level connection forces a break in the high level connection, and so the IP profile is automatically reset when the low level sync is re-established. Quite often the high level connection is not broken and continues despite the new sync speed. This results in a 'stale' IP profile. If the new sync speed is lower, you will only get the lower speed as that is all the line can (for the time being) manage. If the new sync speed is higher, you won't get the benefit as the IP profile will act as a throttle. For that reason we often suggest people disconnect and reconnect the ROUTER (NOT the modem) each morning if they suspect there might be changes; to force a profile reset. If you have an unlocked modem (as you must have) and can see the sync speed, then you can tell more exactly when a mismatch has happened and thus whether such a disconnect/reconnect is needed

Try the following:
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order
