In recently installed version 3.6.16 I am unable to open a new tab either by clicking on tab or from file menu.

OS Windows 7 Home Edition.
Firefox Version 3,6,16
New tab does not open when clicking on tab on right of tab bar or New Tab in file menu.
Have other users experienced this and what is the solution to this problem?

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

When you turn on photo stream on a device that is the source of photos, only the photos you take in the future will sync to the stream, not the photos currently in the camera roll.
When you turn on photo stream on a device or computer that will receive photos from other devices, only the photos that have been on the servers for the past 30 days will sync, all older photos have been deleted from the servers.
To sync camera roll photos that weren't part of photo stream, you need to sync them manually using itunes.

When I downloaded new version of firefox, the feature where when I open a new tab a page loads that contains mini-windows containing my most visited sites. where is this feature now!?

So with the new version of firefox I lost the feature where, whenever I opened a new tab, instead of a blank tab page, a page would appear that contained mini-windows containing pics of all my most often used websites. I could then simply click on one of maybe six windows to go directly to my most used sites. What happened to this? I really, really, really miss this feature. How can I get it back?

The Google Toolbar and other extensions for Firefox include a list of compatible Firefox versions. Currently, the Google Toolbar only goes up to Firefox 4. However, people have tested and it actually works on Firefox 5, so there are two workarounds:

Windows 7 Ultimate isn't installing on my iMac. Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition

I have a 21.5" iMac (Late 2012) running OS X Mavericks. I'm trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate via Bootcamp but whenever i get to the setup part it goes wrong
These are the steps I followed
I selected all the options since I didn't have the drivers or an install disk
it copied the Windows 7 iso image, downloaded the support software, and saved the support software to the flash drive (8GB)
I selected a partition size - I gave windows roughly 100GB
and I let it install
Right now I'm at the part where it says " where do you want to install windows? I selected the bootcamp partition and formatted it. It now says
"Setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing system partition. See the Setup log files for more information"
WHAT DO I DO?

I had to read the apple instructions several times before they started to make sense. I burned my iso onto a DVD and had the required USB for support software. Are you trying to use the single USB method?

We have recently seen reports about a Community Toolbar extension causing this issue with not being able to open a new tab.

A workaround is to open PDFs in the application rather than the plugin. If you open tools -> options then for all the acrobat pdf options select acrobat (default) rather than acrobat (in browser) it will download and open the PDFs.

If users are too numerous to break the 'rule', I'm afraid that Apple decide to pack the three apps in a single item so the problem would be definitely solved.
If someone want to have direct access to iWork components from the Applications menu, the correct soluce is to create aliases of thes apps and store these aliases in the Applications folder. Neat, simple and free of the described oddities.

Some recent changes now force me to sign in on each tab when I open a new messenger ( yahoo) it changes ALLmy tabs to that account.. this makes me lose information and is horribly annoying. What to do?

some recent changes on either yahoo or firefox have caused my tabs to change and now when I use yahoo messenger to check my mail in different accounts, it changes all my tabs and I am forced to sign out and sign in again. Before I could maintain my tabs, except for the one I opened in the new account.. this is a horrible situation because I cannot go between accounts with out having to close all my tabs ..
