In registration boxes that require copying characters, I can no longer see the characters
I am trying to activate Firefox Sync add on. When I get to the point where I have to copy the characters in the box to prove I am "not a robot" there are no characters visible. I have had this happen on other sites, too.
I saw the characters clearly to register for this site.
I now have a name for the images I can't see. They are called "captcha"
It is these Captcha things that I don't see.

Connect your phone to computer, and sync like this. Check the boxes for the playlists, artists, albums you want to sync. Then click Apply. If you have enough space on your phone, you can choose Entire music library.

Is there a way for my daughter or her friends to block their numbers from showing up on activities page. At first i could see them, as of yesterday i can no longer see the numbers in the activities page. But i do see that she has texted them when looking at her phone.
First of all, there is no need to put the entire text of your post into the title of your thread.
Next, does your daughter have an iPhone? Do her friends have iPhones? If the answer to both questions is "yes", then it is possible she is not texting them, but using iMessage to communicate with them. iMessages will not show up in the texting traffic on a line as they are not texts, but messages sent thru Apple's servers.
For all "texts" to show up in the texting activity of an iPhone, you must disable iMessage on the device. Any messages sent as iMessages(blue bubbles around the text) on an iPhone will not show up in any texting activity. -
After I updated my iPhone 5 to iOS7 I can no longer see the individual chapters when playing my audio books. Also I can no longer edit a and copy multiple text messages like before. Is there a way to do these things I am missing?
Not only can i not see the individual chaptes -- apparently like you and everyone else suffering through the "improved" iOS7 -- when my audiobook repeats a "file" within chapter, which it sometimes does, I cannot get "inside" the chapter and move forward to where I'm supposed to be.

I have a OSX version 10.7.5. On Safari mail I can no longer see the information that usually appears at the beginning of an incoming email, like the date, senders details etc. What do I do to be able to see this again?
No, I get my mail on my computer, not on a website. I used to be able to see the information but in sorting another issue I must have changed a setting or something. I have gone to View. Under Message Attributes most things are ticked but many of them are not bold print i.e. they are pale grey. I don't know how to activate them again.

I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI. I have downloaded a pdf from a journal web site. I need to review this article and make comments in the text. After doing this and saving the file, when opening the saved file, I can only see the highlights where I made changes and the list of comments that I made, but I no longer see the original text. I upgraded my phone to the latest operating system a few days ago. I really like the gray suggested text boxes that appeared when typing an email or text message. That function has stopped. How do I get it back?
Make sure you have "Predictive" turned on (green) in Settings > general > Keyboards.

when I search the web and am taking to my search destination, the search box does not show the http address that I am on. I need that information to cite the page that I am on. What must I do the fix this problem.
Some add-ons can cause this. Does the problem go away when you restart Firefox with add-ons disabled?

Came home from work and the wife lost it. How do I restore the firebox logo onto the left corner above the toolbar
The options in that menu now are aside of the home page icon, just click on the menu icon

I think I put everything in the question. I got a touch, then an iphone. Now when I connect my touch there is no "on this ipod" tab in the toolbar. How can I get it back?
Perhaps you are talking about the Sidebar? If so, to show the Sidebar, choose Show Sidebar from the View menu in iTunes.

i used to be able to smoothly download free apps. suddenly, also free apps open a box that require my payment info. a message tells me that i did not finish a purchase. i cannot reset the whole thing and i am also not aware of a purchase i attempted. what can i do?
Check to be sure that you don't have something that never totally downloaded - look in iTunes and in iBooks as well - not only in the app Store. A stalled or incomplete download in one of the stores can cause problems with downloads in the other stores.
You can try to reset your iTunes account by signing out of the account and then signing back in. Restart the iPad in between signing out and signing in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID-tap the ID and sign out. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in. -
We are a retail shop which has a copy of AppleCare Protection plan. The box is not sealed. How can I tell if the product has been registered or not.
Since the only thing needed in that box is the small piece of paper with the (very long) registration code on it (usually found inside the booklet), see if that is actually there and, if it is, call Apple at 800-275-2273 and ask to be transferred to the Applecare department. My MacBook Pro will not open any app or program that requires Internet, even though I am connected to the web. I recently installed Norton AntiVirus and think it may have changed a setting that I couldn't find. I uninstalled Norton and it didn't help. Every time I open Safari, iTunes or any other program that tries to connect to the Internet, it crashes. Strangely enough, Skype still works, but nothing else.
I have OSx 10.6.8.
I have tried erasing plists, and all the standard troubleshooting, ie resetting modem, restarting computer, reloading Safari from disk.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.Change your router channel. Sometimes this is all you will have to do.

Unlock the padlock

Highlight Airport
Click the Assist Me button
In the popup window click the Diagnostic button.
System Preferences/Network- Unlock padlock. Highlight Airport. Network Name-select your name. Click on the Advanced button. Airport/Preferred Networks-delete all that is not your network.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined." Click the OK button and lock the padlock. Restart your computer.

No internet connection (wireless)
Check to see if an extra entry is present in the DNS Tab for your wireless connection (System Preferences/Network/Airport/Advanced/DNS).
Delete all extra entries that you find.
Place a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined."

I uninstalled Norton and it didn't help.
To properly uninstall Norton software follow these instructions - Locate Symantic Solutions folder inside the Applications folder at the root level of your HD, launch the Symantec Uninstaller application, select the Symantec AntiVirus Corporate, Norton AntiVirus & Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect entries and click the Uninstall button.
Confirm your decision when prompted and then enter your administrator password in the space provided.
Retart your computer & Norton should be gone for good.
If the above does not work, download a copy of Symantec’s RemoveSymantecMacFiles removal utility. This utility will launch Terminal & remove the Norton components. -
