In RSWUWFML2 Program should i mention SAPUSER ID ?

Hi Experts,
I have activated Purchase Order Release workflow and it works fine for 5 level release. Now i want to display the work item in SAP Users outlook mail so i am running the program RSWUWFML2 in this should i mention the sap user Id of all the five users and run the program seperately 5 times or i need not mention userID and shcedule this program only once so that all the 5 ppl will get mail in one shot.
This program has a field called SAPLOGON_ID do i need to specify the list of five user ID here?
Please guide me on the input values that i should give for this program and also clear my doubt i can schedule only one instance of this program in regular intervals.
Regards,
Hari

Hello,
Just leave the user ID field empty, and the mails will be delivered to all users having the corresponding release tasks.
The amount of jobs that you should schedule depends on following things:
1) Is there any other workflows used in the same instance, for which this same report is used to send mails to users?
2) Is there a different schedule for these other workflows for sending the mails?
If there is only this one workflow, or only this workflow requires mails to be sent (with the report), you need to only schedule one job (with a proper variant).

Karri

  • I feel I must move beyond iMovie, what program should I use ?

I have been happily using iMovie and iDVD from versions 1 through 6.  iMovie 08 was so bad that Apple made iMovie 06 available as a free download for buyers of iMovie 08. The newer iMovies were better, but they seemed “dumbed down” (even for me).  Now, I am shocked and horrified to learn that the latest iMovie does not even set chapter markers!
So, I have continued to use iMovie 06 and iDVD 08 (they seem to work fine under OS 10.9.4).   iMovie 06 is now 8 years old!  I feel compelled to move forward. A lot of my work is DV.    In the past, most of my source material came out of S-Video.   I used a Canopus ADVC300 analog-to-digital converter that gave good results.   Going forward, I will have more video utilizing Component Video, or HDMI.
I am looking into 2 possibilities,  Adobe Premiere elements 12, or.........Final Cut Pro X.
The final result of my work is almost always a DVD.   It is hard for me to move from iMovie and iDVD.  I never read the manuals for either program, yet,  I was able to produce DVDs with nice menus and overall quality close to Hollywood.
It looks like Final Cut Pro X 'can' make a DVD directly without other software.  However, from what I have seen on YouTube the result is primitive compared to what iDVD was doing 10 years ago.
Adobe Premiere elements 12 can make nice DVDs and Blu-ray's directly.  I have no problem with using a separate program to make DVDs but I haven't got a clue how to do that with Final Cut Pro X.   I suppose I can still use iDVD, but now I'm back to using discontinued software.
I do not need any of the high-powered affects capability that Final Cut Pro X  possesses.  My “movie-making” is mostly confined to simple editing (the old iMovie 06 did all I needed).
Frankly, one motivation for choosing Final Cut Pro X, is the excellent, compassionate and understanding support that the kind people on this very forum provide.  So, what program should I use?

to turn perspective for a second by 180°:
Why do you want to switch to a new editor anyhow?
    • iM-a never did discs - that was iDVDs job = no big change in your workflow
    • iDVD is still working, and aside obsolete, complex and $$$$ DVDSP (part of obsolete FC/p) or Encore (part of Adobes CC rent package) your only option left to create disks on MacOS is indeed iDVD (...ok, there's Toast and Burn and some weird 'shareware'-stuff...)..
    • iMovie-b supports the new HDef formats (AVCHD) - you mentioned converters and DVDs = no HDef in use, in your habitat, correct?
    • if you don't need FCPX' bling-bling (I can't imagine that ) - why not using FCPX-lite = iMovie? 15$ ...
    • chapters could be done in iDVD - just to mention that ............
    • AP and FCPX are following very different concepts in usage - my personal preference is 200% on FCPX, … I was one of the loudest nay-sayers, when iM08 araised, meanwhile, FCPX is my dream!! AP (tested it) is way too complex, crowded, 'optionalized' and did I mention 'complex' for me. A bit like Windows vs. MacOS: 'everything goes' (incl. getting lost) vs. 'convenience' (incl. restrictions) ... After 2y of practice, I'm editing my weekly hobby-projects with 6-cam-Multicam, incl. tons of  custom graphics, slow-mow, effects (soccer games) in less than 2h ... awesome!
    summary:
    • why switching?
    • use iMovie10 + iDVD
    • Premiere (or Premiere Elements!) and FCPX are both avail as fee trial ... test  it - but you need iDVD anyhow
    • 'disks'  is a dwindling niché, for years!- consider to switch to 'other' distribution options
... what are 'chapters' anyhow??... (kid din'!)

Looks as if you're just at the minimum specs - http://www.apple.com/logicpro/specs/. Says 2GB minimum, 4GB recommended. And 2GB of RAM is all the RAM the 1,1 can handle. If I were you I would call Apple's App Store service center - you have the minimum requirements, as I read it, but perhaps you need a faster processor?
I had a 1,1 but sold it when I bought my late 2011 in March of this year - maybe it's time to look at a new machine?

Not quite. Downloading the current version of NeoOffice is definitely not free (downloading the previous version is). The developers of NeoOffice (the most Mac-like of the StarOffice descendants) make a distinction between the application itself (which is free) and downloading it, for which they require what they are pleased to call a "donation" (since it's mandatory, I would call it a fee).

I only need it for reports
Would that include the report on the state of the US economy -- you know, the one President Obama asked you to deliver to the White House no later than 7AM on January 4? The one in two columns, with numbered paragraphs, table of contents, footnotes, mathematical formulae, 40 figures, 60 charts, quotations in Arabic, Japanese, and classical Greek, and 15 pages of references in APA style?
Grant Bennet-Alder is right -- "the real answer depends on what work you expect to do with it, and with whom you expect to do this work". There are dozens of word processors for Mac, from the venerable Word to the no less venerable Tex-Edit+. It would pointless to start listing them all, when many of them might be either too little or too much for your needs.

You can use Microsoft Office for Mac, one of the free Office clones such as LibreOffice or Apple's iWork suite of apps. The iWork apps - Keynote (presentation), Pages (word processing & page layout) & Numbers (spreadsheet) are available individually from the Mac App Store. There are also versions for iOS available separately. And, coming this fall, iWork for iCloud.

I would like to create a document with imbedded video, to email, and airdrop to an iPad mini. What program should I use?

I would suggest using Apple's Pages which allows support for imbedding videos from the device's camera roll. Pages also allows for sharing via email, Air Drop, and Messages.

  • What program should I use and various??

    Hi friends,
    I have two questions:
    1) So I have finished my project...how do I fit it onto one dvd? Quicktime conversion??
    2) What program should I use to burn to dvd? I have a macbook.
    3) How do I make chapters on the dvd??
Thank you so much for assisting

    1. Export a QuickTime Movie. Do NOT use QT Conversion. Import the resulting QuickTime file into the DVD creation program. Don't worry about file size at this point. The DVD authoring application will compress and encode. You can fit about two hours of video on a single-layer DVD.
    2. The simplest method is to use iDVD which probably came with the MacBook.
    3. Playing the FCE Timeline, press M twice, name the chapter if you wish and click the Add Chapter Marker button in the resulting window. Then when you export, make sure to choose to include Chapter markers in the Export window. Within iDVD, I think you can also set iDVD to include a chapter marker at set intervals, but not at specific points.
Not to be snarky, but that seems like three questions...
    Good luck.

  • What program should i use to archive my photos ?

what program should i use to archive my photos ? i have tried aperture and the mage browsing program that comes with canon, but i just cant find the right program to be fast and efficent ! any suggestions ?

I believe you are looking for a lightweight image browser/viewer that supports basic editing. I highly recommend Lyn and believe it is the exact program for your purposes. It is $20, but you are offered a free 30$ trial.

  • RSWUWFML2 Program - Sending multiple notification to outlook every 10 mins

    Hi All
    Below is my issue.
I have scheduled a decision task and created a variant to the RSWUWFML2 program. This program is scheduled to run every 10 mins in background by WF-BATCH agent with the variant.
    The issue is :
When i create a document in FV60 the approver is identified by a custom method and passed to the decision task. The approver gets 5 emails for the same document every 10 mins until he approves. But this happening only in outlook for email alone not in SBWP (The user gets only one workitem).
I thought there would be a problem with the background job, to make sure of this i run the RSWUMFML2 program manually with the variant , which stopped sending the mail.
Can anyone help me out , how i need to proceed further to fix this issue?
    Thanks
    Shree

    Hello,
    You said:
"i run the RSWUMFML2 program manually with the variant , which stopped sending the mail."
Do you mean that it only sent it once, or that it didn't send it at all?
That's very strange that it runs every 10 mins, and yet sends out 5 mails every 10 mins.
Are you sure there aren't 5 occurrences of RSWUMFML2 running?
What do the timestamps look like on these 5 mails: the same, or different, or spaced evenly?
    regards

I have two iMac's one running 10.6.8 and the other 10.8.2  What Apeture program should I purchase?

You can currently only buy the current version Aperture 3.4.3 at the AppStore, and that version requires MacOS X 10.7.5. at least, see the release notes: Aperture 3.4.3
So you will not be able to install this version on your Snow leopard machine. Maybe you can buy a boxed retail version of an earlier release, compatible with Snow Leopard, but the newer version is faster and compatible with iCloud.
Do your iMacs both have the same processors and memory? You will wan to use your fastest mac with the best graphics card and the most RAM to run Aperture, also a large screen would be desirable.

  • What word processing program should I purchase for iMac

What word processing program should I purchase for iMac

    Hi
Pages is very good as a Word Processor but it lacks the ability to do Macros if you continually do a repeat operation.  For me I cut and paste text from another source and it needs reformatting Font; bold, size, colour every time I do it.  It is a real pest.
Many years ago Word Perfect Mac could do this [still the best wordprocessor interface] also [from memory] Apple Works had the ability to record macros.
A current MAC wordprocessor to look at which will do pretty much everything INCLUDING MACROS is Nisus Writer.  Express version is $49, Pro version $79 and it has a free 15 day demo.

Adobe has a DPS add-on for InDesign (http://www.adobe.com/products/digital-publishing-suite-single.html) and it handles all the page transitions as well as swapping between portait and landscape. I think the way most people work is the pages are built in inDesign and regions of animation from EA are added second. But if every page had full screen animation, I suppose you may want to build your pages in Edge first.
