You would need to call the store or 1888bestbuy to check the status. You can't check the status of in store orders on the website. It is likely just not going to arrive today so it defaulted to the generic backorder message.

    Hi I ordered six 3DS games on July 16, 2014 for in-store pick up. One Bravely Default, One Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds, Two Pokemon X, and Two Pokemon Y. The estimated time for in-store pick up was July 22, 2014 and now it is July 24, 2014 with only Bravely Default being ready and the rest still under "order in process of being fulfilled". I noticed the current sale for these games being a buy one get one and really think that the stock for the games had not been quickly put aside for my pick-up even though I had ordered the Wednesday of last week. I am surprised to see many others get their games ready for in-store pick up or even shipped when they ordered later than me. Any solutions and help? Thanks!

    Buy One, Get One offers are a great way to pick up new games, and it sounds like you've got a few great play sessions planned! I'd be anxious too if I found myself in a similar situation, especially if updates didn't appear to be readily available.
    I've had the chance to look into this situation and it looks like while our fulfillment center has acknowledged your order, your copies of The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Pokémon X & Y have yet to be shipped. It's unclear what might be causing this delay, so I've reached out to our support team for clarification.   • May I switch the order from stand shipping to in-store pick up?

    I make an order of iphone6plus today in stand shipping way. Is it possible to change it to a in-store pick-up? Will it be much quicker than the shipping way? Has  anybody  been through the similar situation? Thank you in advance.

There are times when we’re unable to provide that option for certain titles, but it looks like the two titles you mentioned can be pre-ordered for Store Pickup at many locations.   • Asked for iPhone to be shipped but received "in-store pick-up"

    I clearly selected the option to have my iPhone 4 shipped to me, but the system came back with "Cannot process request" and confirmed an in-store pick-up. Sounds like this happening to others as well. Think there is any chance to get Apple to change the order to have it shipped??

    I believe they don't offer the instore pick up at this time. Only delivery to house only. I can confirm this because I was at the apple store yesterday to ask when the line will start next week, and I have asked many questions about the pre-orderings and what not about the iphone 4S. They said the pre-order is for delivery only this time around and that there is no option to pick it up in store directly.

  • Change pre-order from SHIPPING to IN-STORE PICK-UP

    This past Sunday, 11/9/14, I placed a pre-order for Super Smash Bros. Wii U to be shipped to my home, but I would now like to pick the game up at a local Best Buy instead -- specifically, the Cambridge, MA location (Store #537).
    I spent 30+ minutes on the phone with three reps earlier today trying to do this and none of them were of any help, but I've found previous posts on the support forum wherein users had the same request granted (for example: http://forums.bestbuy.com/t5/Gaming-Support/Would-like-to-switch-preorder-games-from-shipping-to-in-...). Since the order has not been prepared yet (the game isn't out for another week or so), I'm hoping that this is still a possibility.

  • Advertised lens not available for delivery or store pick up, Why?

    This lens is NOT AVAILABLE for home delivery at $199. Why is BB offering it for store pick-up? I spent hours trying to find a store to ship it to and I couldnt find a single location, why?

    Unfortunately its not available at pretty much every online/brick and mortar store now. The few that have it jacked the prices up big time (seen one selling it for over $400).
    Nikon (and most other camera companies) was affected big time by the past disaster in Japan. Sendai (where the tsunami hit hardest) is where Nikon makes pro bodies and pro lenses (possibly the glass elements for all their lenses even ones assembled in Taiwan and china) last I heard still is having issues with rolling blackouts. Nikon also makes lenses in batches. They dont have a line for each lens. They'll make so many of this model, then so many of the next and so on.
    You think getting the 35 1.8 is hard, try waiting for a 600mm F4. I waited 7 months for mine to come in.

  • Order online for in-store pick up today? I don't think so.

    I placed an order online with BestBuy.com today and, after checking the inventory of my closest Best Buy store, selected "in store pick up today" to fulfill my order and receive my items. Shortly thereafter, I received my order confirmation indicating that I should wait until I received an order fulfillment email - "We will send another e-mail notifying you when your order is ready for pickup. This notification will arrive in less than 45 minutes, as it takes us just a little time to get items ready for pickup in our stores."
    Now, maybe I am a complete fool for thinking that when I am told I would receive my order fulfillment notification in 45 minutes or less that I should actually receive that email...but after NOT receiving said email, I opted to go to the store 2 hours after receiving my confirmation email. Naturally, there is a COMPLETE disconnect between the in-store system and online and the poor in store folks had to hear my frustration with the order not being completed as indicated. When I returned home, I called Best Buy customer service to better understand why "Pick up in store today" does not actually mean today and that receiving an email saying it would be fulfilled in 45 minutes or less does not actually mean that would happen. After being spoken to like a complete child on the phone, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that I was in fact speaking to the supervisor. Imagine my surprise! This person had no explanation for any timeline as to when my order would be fulfilled and was belittling in her tone and verbage.
    This is the second time I have made the mistake of purchasing from Best Buy. And I will never make this mistake again. They should think about a re-branding as "really good deals but utter incompetency in customer service." When you indicate to a customer that their order will be fulfilled "today" and in 45 minutes no less, then you should actually see to completing that order.

    Placing an order online for store pickup should be a quick an easy process, so it's disheartening to learn of situations where that expectation may not have been met. I'd be disappointed too if an order I placed wasn't ready for pickup immediately, especially if in-store associates weren't able to shed any light on the situation.
    In most cases, orders placed on BestBuy.com can be fulfilled in a few short hours. From time to time, however, individual orders may be held for review by our support team if additional payment authorization proves necessary. When this occurs, it may result in a 1-2 business day delay before an affected order can be fulfilled. Additional processing time may also be required for select product categories, such as items requiring service activation (ex: mobile phones), special order items, major appliances and large-screen TVs.
    That being said, I was able to locate your account using the e-mail address you used to register for the forum and it appears you were able to pick up your order last night. If you require assistance with any other issues though, don't hesitate to let us know.

  • Apple in store pick up in Italy

    Can I utilize the in store pick up option here in Italy if I made my online purchase using the US Apple store?  If I'm paying with dollars will I have to pay the difference?

    No, you'll need to purchase it in Italy; online or otherwise. Of course, you will be paying with Euro's.  An alternative would be to purchase it in the US, have it shipped to a valid address in the US, then ship it to Italy, privately.

  • Delays in Shipping?

    Hi, just wondering if anyone has any info on shipping times for new MBPs? We ordered two CTOs about 10 days with a hard drive upgrade as the only customization. We were initially told that the units would likely ship 3-5 days, then it said the 22nd, and now I just received an e-mail that it will likely be March 30.
    Does anyone know what might be causing the delay? I am thinking about canceling and reordering a little later in case they are changing configurations of the current line up.
    Any thoughts?

    Apple has not announced any reasons for delays in shipping. No one here knows if any upgrade is happening, but you can consider the return policy of the store you are buying from to figure into your plan if something new does come out while you wait. It has also sometimes happened that the new machine gets sent instead of the older model with people ordering just prior to the release of the new machine, but not always. I would contact the store and ask if there is anything they can do about the delay.

  • How long does it take for a store to process an online order for store pick up

    Hello,
    I placed an order for a Macbook Pro on November 11, 2014. Scheduled an in store pick up where Best Buy estimated pick up date is November 14. I didn't receive the email or text to pick up the item, so I decided to call 1-800-best-buy to see if I can get the new estimated pick up date. I was told by the representative the laptop is actually already at the store, and waiting for me to pick it up. I called the store to make sure, and was told that I can pick it tomorrow morning. I called in today was placed on hold for around 15 minutes. Decided to call 1-800-best-buy again, and found out that it will take another 3-5 days before I get my laptop. I asked the representative to change the pick to another store that has the laptop available right now. It was change since around 10 am in the morning. I called the store to make sure that they got my order, the Manager told me that once the truck deliver more laptop. I will be able to get mine, and I should call in the afternoon to check on the availablity. I called around 5 pm to check, and was told that even if there is a laptop. I would still need to wait until best buy process my order. Called 1-800-best-buy again, and was told that Apple usually take 3-4 for hours to verify the information. Right now, my order status is still "Preparing Order".
    My Questions: How long will it take for Best Buy to finish Preparing Order?
    Why does it show on the website that if I order by 8 PM I wil be able to pick up the laptop today. Meanwhile, the store pick up was transfered since 10 am this morning, and at 10 PM tonight still nothing.
    If I cancel my order, will I get all of my reward zone certificates back?

    What are my options if I try to shop for an item and it says is only available for in store pick up but there's no store near me available?

  • Multiple Picking location for a Shipping point

    Hi,
    Is it possible to assign mutiple picking location against a shipping point in one plant.
    Currently we can assign only one storage location as picking location against a shipping point in the below bath
    SPRO->LE->Shipping->Picking->Determine picking location->Assign picking location
    I have mutiple storage location for a single shipping point. I want  system to check any one of the storage location while creating delivery for that particular shipping point.
    Eg:
    Plant P1 have storage locations S1,S2,S3,S4 & shipping Point SH1,SH2.
    System has to determine picking location as S1 or S2 for shippint point SH1.
    Is it possible to control this by any userexit or anyother way?
    This has to be applicable for STO/PO also.

    I'm planning to travel to NY, and I need to know if the time of the store pick up (that is 3 - 5 days) can be extend, because I will buy from the site on black friday and I will travel on 2 of november, so there is anyway to extend the store pick up time?

  • Order online or check at 10 every night for in store pick up?

    I already ordered my iPhone 5. The estimated delivery date is between the 30th and November 5th. I sold my 4S in order to get the 5 so now I'm stuck using my old crappy droid and would really like to get an iPhone as soon as I can.
    I spoke to an employee at the Apple Store and he suggested that I cancel my order online and take my chances getting it for in store pick up.
    My question is, is it almost a certainty that I will find iPhone available some night at 10 available at my local store for in store pick up sooner than I would receive it in the mail?

    In the US, on-line ordering will begin at 0001 on September 20
