In Substitution rule view only one task "All" is coming

Hi! All,
I am facing very strange problem in UWL. Recently we upgraded our SAP Portal from SP10 TO SP15 but in Manage Substitution Rule view under Assign these task drop down we are getting only one task i.e 'All'. Remaining 3 tasks are gone.
Can you help me in resolving this issue please..

You had upgrade from SP10 to Sp25, wich version? 6.40 or 7.00?

If you want to connect and use an iPod on more than one computer you need to change the update preference in the iPod Summary tab to "Manually manage music and videos" and click Apply.

If your iPod is set to update automatically take care when connecting to a different computer if your current one is out of commission. You will get a message that your iPod is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it.

Day view only displays 6 all-day events

Until the most recent iPhone upgrade, the day view in the calendar displayed many more untimed, all-day events. Now, it seems only to display 6. The rest of my all-day events are only visible in the list view. Is this something new Apple did on purpose, or is my iPhone acting up?

Echoing that. I thought I was the only one experiencing this. It's super annoying, and actually causing me to miss important appointments. Can anyone help? I find myself pining for the next release.

Why is Mail rule syncing only one way?

Odd. I've got a Mac mini and an iMac, both running 10.8.2, both with iCloud syncing Documents & Data. Mail on the mini has rules -- created on that machine -- for SpamSieve that are not syncing to the iMac; in fact, both rules disappear every few days and I only notice because spam starts piling up.
On the other hand, changes to Mail rules on the iMac are synced to the mini. The mini has been running Mountain Lion for five months; the rules only started disappearing after I upgraded to ML on the iMac last month.
Any ideas on why the syncing is only one-way?

It appears that I can't edit my original question. So here is new information. It is syncing. However, the contacts are syncing with my personal folders. The calendar is syncing from Outlook to Ipad from my personal folders. However, the calendar is syncing to Outlook in a hotmail calendar in the profile that I didn't know existed. How do I get it set right.
I tried to select the calendar. However only one calendar is available in itunes. It must be the correct calendar as it is syncing fine. So how do I get ipad to sync back to the personal folders calendar instead of the hotmail calendar in my profile?

Tables and views are relatively easy, but you've got to do it on an object by object basis (thus it will need to be part of the promotion process whenever A creates a new object). You can write a bit of dynamic SQL to handle the grants for existing objects.

That will allow B to write queries against DBA_SOURCE to see code but it will apply to all code that anyone owns, not just A. You could create a view that exposes just the rows from DBA_SOURCE that you want B to see but then no tool will ever be able to display the source.

Imessage not working for only one contact all of a sudden

I can not recieve imessages from one contact. We have always been able to use imessage and just yesterday all of a sudden the only way we can text is if I turn imessage off. I can use imessage for everyone else and he can use imessage for everyone else, we just all of a sudden can't use it to text each other now.
I am reset my phone, deleted and added him again, and he has tried the same.

If you are using STRUTS and you do refresh a .jsp file, probably that jsp file is using resources located in some scope that was filled during action execution, if you refresh tha page without making sure the action is being called, the .jsp will addess inexisting data is some scope.

Add a dummy execute sql task as first step inside loop and add a breakpoint to that for OnPreExecute event and check value of variable during each iteration to see if it gets value of each child package witin folder correctly.

500 internal error in managhe substitution rule in UWL

Hi All,
One user is getting 500 internal error when cklicks on manage substitution rule in UWL.Only one user is facing this problem.
I checked in backend system, so substitute exists.

This is a common issue and usually has to do if the 'substitutee' for lack of a better word, is no longer a valid user.
4. When there is a substitution rule connecting the current user to a
deleted user, the following problems were discovered:
   - substitution rule management returns 500 browser error;
   - it is not possible to delete a Java Workflow substitution which
refers to a deleted user as assignee;
   - Java workflow connector is not able to retrieve items for user that
has a substitution rule with a deleted user;
   - The "status", "What to do", "assignee" and "Task Owner" fields are
not properly filled in the Manage Substitution Rules view.
Do a search in SAP notes in component EP-BC-UWL and also for your version. Alternatively you can let me know the version here and I can tell you in what release this is fixed in that matches closest to your version. (maybe only a patch required).

Doubt about Substitution Rules

Hello gurus!
We have a doubt about Management Substitution Rules. We fully understand all the benefits of this feature and tried to communicate to all our personnel to make it work properly, but as we have a big staff and not everybody have the same "skills" understanding technology, we eant to have a different approach to this: we want to develop a "user friendly" interface, as a single acreen where we can emulate all the features of Substitution Rules, but we want to know if there is a control program or a Function that controls this, and the understand it fully to achieve this. Anybody knows if this is possible?

Hi,
If you use UWL only with one backend system, you can easily build your own application for example with web dynpro ABAP. Just use the function modules SAP_WAPI_SUBSTITUTE* to do the different operations (creating, deleting substitutions, etc.).
If you have multiple backend systems, it is a bit more complicated. You could build your own (Java WD) application by using the Substitution API. Check the docs at: http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/SPS09/uw/com/sap/netweaver/bc/uwl/IUWLSubstitutionManager.html
Both approaches work.

How can I view only a subset of my contacts in iOS?

I have a large number of contacts. I sync my contacts with iPad, iPhone, and Mac Contacts. How can I group my contacts, then choose to view only one group?
I see how to create groups in OSX, although it is a little tedious to begin with to create a field for grouping for each and every contact. But I cannot see how to use these groups in iOS7, or maintain the grouping field, or view only a subset of all accounts. My goal is to create a group of personal contacts, like favorites, then see only those contacts by default but have access to all contacts if I need to.

How can I select only a portion of my screen to be recorded with QuickTime? I've seen this as an option online but can't figure out how to make the program able to highlight a certain area of my screen to be recorded.
If you are still using Snlow Leopard, then you can't. This functionality was added to QT 10.1 which runs under Lion.

Mix digital out and out in one task

Hello,
is it possible to create a task that can be used for PWM output and setting of digitals outputs at the same time?
I have a NI-USB 6210 that provides two counters and additional digital outputs.
I have already implemented some code that generates PWM signals on both counters.
At all, I have created one task, containing both counters and I am able to set the duty cycle by using DAQmxWriteCtrFreq.
Now, I also want to write the digital outputs.
I first tried to create a second task that handles the outputs, but I got an error (sorry, forgot the error number) that says that the task can not be created because the digital output resource is already in use (by the PWM task).
Therefore, I think that I have to add the digital output channels to my PWM task, so that there is only one task that handles all my digital signals (counter and bits).
Am I right here or not?
Furthermore, if I am right, how can I set the digital outputs?
Maybe DAQmxWriteDigitalLines is the correct line but how can I tell this function, which channels should be set?
Any help is appreciated.

i think the error number was -200022, because the PFI lines for the two PWM counter look all your digital ports.
You can see this if you look on into the pinout for your device. You need an device with some additional digital ports.

I have two questions about universal worklist task managing when manager is not handling the tasks in his job:
1. Leave request: How is ruling of days for when manager does not respond on leave request before sent to above manager?
2. Travel request: How is ruling of days for when manager does not respond on travel reimbursement before sent to above manager?
Anyone who know this, if it is configured by needs of the client or is this standard ruling by SAP?

Pls follow these steps for Substitution Rule
1) Create a Task
A task is nothing but a request to one or more assignees.
2) After creating the Task, Substitution should be assigning the tasks; if manager went to leave he can create substitution in his place
So here once you define the Rule for subtitution then next step is to Set Rule Activation i.,e nothing but "you can turn the rule On or Off at any time on substitution rules management screen .

MAXDB on LINUX use only one CPU

Hi all,
I have a question regarding the usage of parameter MAXCPU. I have set it the value 3. But I do see only one cpu used and almost at 100% with the command "top".
My release is MAXDB 7.7 and the kernel for Linux is SMP.
Someone can tell me what influence this behaviour?

Hi,
The database kernel runs as one process divided into threads. Did you start top -H to check the Cpu-Usage?
Threads can be active in parallel on several processors within the operating system. Threads perform various tasks.
MaxCPU has influence on the number of Threads which are created during restart.
In your case after restart you have 3 Threads ( UKT ) -> you can check this with x_cons show all
How many threads are active in parallel depends on the distribution of the User Tasks on the Threads and the applications which are connected to the User Tasks.
x-cons <DBNAME> show active shows the status of the different Tasks in an UKT. Notrice that an UKT can contain several Tasks but at one time only one Task in The UKT can have the CPU.
MaxDb manages this via internal dispatching.

WF to HR - One task to Specific User.

I am developing some workflows for the HR module, which was set up a table that selects those responsible for tasks RH_CENTRAL, RH_LOCAL and BP
Whereas to send a WorkFlow for the portal it appears in the Business Workplace 2 tasks equal responsibility, one that he takes the action and another just to view.
I'm putting the task as a Task General on TASK's, because those responsible need to be selecting this table.
I can not enter a User, position, unit or function sets in the task, because in this company, those responsible are moved frequently
What do I need: To make only one task is presented only to the official who was selected in the table, without which other people receive the same task.
Is there any way I can do that?

You should assign only 1 agent to the task. Please chek workflow container -> task container binding in your workflow template.
