Hi Paula,
Please check your binding from event to workflow.
You might have missed to export the event parameters to WF.
Please check the same in SWDD-> start events.

Hi experts ,
I will not mention this post as URGENT but you guys can understand the importance as I am in PRD Support of my workflows .
My Workflow is throughing error in SWEL , as below   and after error its getting deactivated .
The workflow is triigering based on the BO : DRAW and event CREATED .
Error : RFC Status           Lock table overflow
In feedback after error the message is : A system error has occurred in lock management .
I have resolved the deactivation problem after error , but   can any body please suggest me what is the root cause of this error , so that i can try to avoid that error .

This error I have not faced. i will suggest you to check SWU3 transaction Code and check everything is configured. Also check SM12 and SM58. Also I will ask you to contact the Basis Guys related to this issue. Also check WF-BATCH is having all the authorization required. Try to replicate this from the system where Workflow is working.

Feedback after the error in SWEL after creating the PO

Hi!
After creating the PO, it says in SWEL.. "Feedback after error" . When I double clicked it, it said that the EVENT releasestepcreated, Import container contains errors (are any obligatory elements missing?)
What could be the possible error in this?

Error while creating a new layout in a report.

I am getting this error message:
Failed to save data.
Error occurred when creating xml data.
when I try to save after I create a new layout in my report.
Is there some common problem with templates that could cause this to happen?
I'll continue to look around for an answer but if anyone would like to see the template and a sample set of XML data so they can help me figure out what the problem is, that would be swell.
-Nevermind. The problem seems to have dissapeared. Apparently the appropriate order of operations is
1: Create new layout.
2: Upload RTF Template

Error in workflow while linking goods receipt document with parked invoice

Hi All,
I parked document using Tcode MIRO, when WF has been executed and goods receipt document has been created.At the time that we tried to link this goods receipt to parked invoice document in the workflow,The problem happens with work item saying the status as Error. See the below error.

In SWEL go to workflow trace and see what exactly is the error. This error description is too generic to arrive at soln.

Error message when trying to add transition or won't render anything!

I had been very successful in building a movie with video clips and still photos, and all was going along well until all of a sudden, I cannot add any more transitions! I keep getting an error message that states: "An unknown error occurred. You may be able to continue without any problems. You may also wish to save, quit, and re-launch IMovie HD."
Occasionally, it will let me add the transition, but then it just sits there for hours and will not render. I'm up to a 1 1/2 hour movie, which has taken nearly two weeks to build (I'm very new at this!) and would hate to start over!! I did try making a new movie, and the transitions ran just fine!
I have restarted umpteen times, even reinstalled IMovie HD. I'm running system 10.4.6 with an 80G harddrive, but have the movie saved on an external harddrive because it wouldn't fit on the other one. (It's at 22 G now!!)
Any suggestions??

I spoke too soon. I began a new movie and imported
photo clips, which rendered just fine. However, I
can drag transitions in between the photos, but they
simply will not render. Everything was just swell
until yesterday afternoon when I changed the length
of the clips so that there would be enough room for
the transition. I tried to do multiple clips at the
same time, but they never rendered. It was then when
I was unable to add any more transitions.
Aha! That may be different problem. There's a bug in iMovie that makes it impossible to update image clips after you empty the iMovie trash. If you imported the image with the Ken Burns checkbox ON, the bug can affect you later.
It's possible, I suppose, that this bug not only prevented you from updating the clips to a new duration, but made it impossible to add the transition to the clips.
After importing your images with the Ken Burns checkbox on, you might try dragging the source image out of the iMovie trash, described here:

ZBUS2032 not shown in workflow and status in SWEL- no receiver entered

I am trying to change an existing workflow(This one has the standard BO- BUS2032 linked). Now I am trying to link the same workflow to a custom BO(ZBUS2032) copied from BUS2032. This custom BO is generated, released, delegated. I have maintained the default values as
Method = DISPLAY and
Attribute = SALESDOCUMENT
Created an entry in SWE2 for ZWBUS2032 with
Object type = ZWBUS2032
EVENT = CREATED
RECEIVER = WS90000014
Receiver call = FM
Receiver FM = SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT
checked the linkage activated checkbox and left the rest AS-IS
In the workflow side,
In the task screen- I added the task number that has (ZBUS2032 and the new method), specified the triggering events and binded, event is green. When I click on Define binding autom. it shows
WIOBJECT_ID = &ZBUS203&
In the actual event
I added the Object type to ZBUS2032 and the event as CREATED, clicked on start condition and specified the SALES document type condition but it doesn't go green.
When I click on the binding, on the right hand side of the new window where the workflow parameters are there, it still shows BUS2032 instead of ZBUS2032
No errors, I activated. When I hit the test, it still shows BUS2032.
When I do the process through front end and check SWEL, it says No receiver entered.
I am new to Workflow. Kindly please advice.

What are you trying to do with the ZBUS2032?
IIf you create a new task that should call a new method (in ZBUS2032), if you enter BUS2032 as object type and then select the method, are you able to see the new method in the selection list? If yes, that would mean that you have delegated the ZBUS2032 properly. (=You have kind of extended the usage of the standard BUS2032 with the new Z-version).
You could also add some new attributes to your ZBUS2032. If you are able to see them in workflow builder or in the workflow log, this would also mean that the delegation has been done properly. (I just hope that you did the subtype in a way that Rick tried to describe).
In general I hope that you have tested your new functionality (method or attribute) directly in SWO1. If it works there, it should then work in the workflow too. I would be interested to know how you came into conclusion that ZBUS2032 is not working as it should? Do you see an error or what?

Workflow error in fork step, process control, wait event

I am using fork step in workflow which has 2 parallel branches. In 1st branch i have a user decision step followed by a task for posting PO document in case of approval. In the 2nd branch of fork step I have a wait step to wait for an event followed by the same task for posting document with a process control step after that in the end to cancel the workitem(workitem generated by user decision step in the 1st branch of fork). I created the event by using a custom BOR object.
After the fork step is triggered, i have both a wait event running and workitem generated. When i raise the wait event from SWUE by entering the event, object key etc it works fine i.e., the workitem in the other branch is set of logically deleted and workflow ends.
But if the wait event is triggered from the program i.e., using FM SWW_WI_CREATE_VIA_EVENT, both get an error message in workflow log(SWIA). The message is: Error when executing the binding between work item 000000XXXXXX and flow item 000000XXXXXX where workitem number is the workitem id of the posting document task and flow item id is the workflow parent id

Activate the event trace SWELS, then do the event with SWUE and within your program (als please use SAP_WAPI function modules).
Now compare the 2 events in SWEL to see what the differences are .

Dc7700 Booting randomly // BIOS error

Hey!
I am having trouble with my dc7700 computer, it has started booting randomly. This occurs, like mentoned, randomly. There is no spesific program that is "crashing" or forcing the computer to boot. It sometimes boots when I am doing nothing on it, only windows running. With booting I mean that the computer "resets" itself and starts to power back on.
I have tried to dust the computer and fans, removed memory and installed back in diffrent order. I am out of solutions, and I need your help!
Also I am having this weird BIOS error message every time the computer is turned on. Should I (like the error message tells me) update the BIOS or Managment engine firmware. If I should, could someone link me the right firmwares?

Processor: Intel Core 2 duo
Memory: 2GB DDR
VideoCard: ATI Radeon X550
Hard Drive: 250GB (Don't remember the model, ask if neccessary)
(Please ask if you need more information)
I do not know where to start fixing this booting problem. What should be my next move?

Hi:
I would go back and remove all but one memory module.
Test each one individually to see if one of them is intermittently flaky.
If the machine crashes with the one stick, remove that one try the next one and so on.
If the machine stops crashing, you have found a faulty memory module and you can replace it.
Next thing to check if the PC crashes with all memory chips tested individually would be to carefully inspect the motherboard for bulging, or leaking capacitors (the can shaped objects on the motherboard). Bad caps will emit gasses that cause the top of the can to swell and bulge.
Bad capacitors will cause intermittent freezes, crashes, random reboots, all kinds of nasty things.
Firmware error. That one I don't know.
There is only one ME firmware update and I suggest you carefully read the instructions!

1. go to TCODE: SWEL and check if you have any errors over there
2. go to TCODE: SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING
- maintaint runtime environment
- configure RFC destination
and check if the password for user WF-BATCH is correct

SC status "Awaiting Approval" - WS10000060 error

Dear colleagues,
We are on SRM 5.0.
We have the following problem:
When creating a Shopping Cart, the status of the SC remains as "Awaiting Approval".
We have only activated Workflow WS10000060 Workflow without approval, and all checks regarding Workflow customizing seem ok.
I have checked transactions indicated in Note 322526 and have not been able to find the origin of the error:
SWU3 seems OK, in SWU0 WS10000060 Workflow Without Approval Shopping Cart appears as succesfully started.
In transaction SWEL i can see no events however, even though the event log is activated.
In SWI1 however I can see the ERROR status of the workflow:

The workflow WS10000060 is linked to a reviewer workflow WS10000265.
It may be the case that no active versions of this workflow exist in
your system.
In transaction SWDD select other WF-Definition = WS10000265.
This should activate version 0000
- Create new version - (activate version 0001)
- menu Workflow >Activation >Generate and activate runtime version
- Transaction SWUS
Workflow: WS10000265
Click on Button Refresh Organizational Environment
Synchronize the runtime buffers with transaction SWU_OBUF.
Kindly then retest the workflow WS10000265 to see if it is now ok.
You can do this by the following steps :
1. Transaction SWUD
2. enter workflow WS10000265, press enter
3. execute 'Test environment'
4. check 'Including subworkflows'
5. execute 'Consistency check for components'
If there are no errors then please do the same for workflow WS10000060.
If there are no errors for this workflow either then the problem
should be resolved.

Error in Leave Approval Workflow

I'm Using Standard Workflow WS0040077 for Leave Approval . I Activated the Event Linkage in SWEL .Did General Task in Agent Assignment . But when i run transaction PA30 . i get this error in SAP Inbox.

Have you checked the workflow config in SWU3? It sounds like there may be a problem with the LOCAL RFC destination used by workflow. Click the 'Start Verification Workflow' button in SWU3 as a health check.
Also, are you testing this in the right client?

Error in PR standard workflow WS20000077

Hi Friends ,
I have activated the standard workflow WS20000077 which is for PR release procedures . When i am creating a PR it is triggering the workflow with an error " Import container contains errors (are any obligatory elements missing?) " .
I have checked the forum for the same error but i did not find ant exact solution for that .
In SWEL , the object key is being populated by the PR no . So i think this is the problem due to the Release code which is not getting any value in the event container after the event " Releasestep craeted" gets triggered .
So please guide me on the same how to resolve the above error .
I am using ECC 6 version of SAP .

I have tested the workflow in SWUE by assigning the Release code value manually and the workflow is triggering without any error .
So as you told i think some SAP Notes needs to be implemented to resolve this issue .

No EVENT in SWEL even after active

Hello,
I have created a workflow and When i am testing it manually from "SWDD". Everything is working fine and it is flowing through all the expected steps and it is sent to multiple users and after there approval it is even completing successfully.
Now, my problem is there are no events visible in "SWEL" and my workflow is not getting triggered.
I verified following steps:
1) EVENT TRACE IS ON in "SWEL".
2) All the settings in "SWU3" are active and showing in green.
3) WF-BATCH has full access.
4) Background job was not set initially in "SWEQADM_1", I have turned it ON "PERIODIC, 20 events, 1 Minute)
     and then synchronized the buffer, Logged in many times. There are no event list ( Error,Delivered...)
Don't know, may be meaningful. But there are no entries in Waiting,Sent status in "SOST"
Please, suggest any other solutions.

I was able to fix the issue by pointing the Release code to workflow.
In SPRO, SAP Reference IMG -->
                                                  Materials Management
                                                   --> Purchasing
                                                        --> Purchase Requisition
                                                             --> Release Procedure
                                                                  --> Procedure With Classification
                On clicking & selecting Release Codes, there are 4 Coloumns
By Entering '1' in the Worklfow coloumn of the specific Release Group & Code will trigger       "ReleaseStepCreated" event and i have used that in my trigerring event of Workflow.
So, as per my understanding to Trigger standard event "ReleaseStepCreated" above setting is mandatory.
Before not fixing the above thing, I have tried SWEC & triggering the event using UserExit but neither of them were fruitful.

Error in mail box work item not executable

i build simple WF for approve and reject that send for user to sap inbox
some decision ,when i check the inbox of the user and double click on the line i get some red triangle in the status Colman with
error work item not executable,
what can be the problem?

user decision , i put there user and approve and reject that it.
i execute the WF and go to the SAP user inbox.
in the Work Flow folder i see the task in column executable i see green V work item executable,
status ready when i double click on it to open i get in column executable message work item not executable ,
and status error ,What it can be?
P.S. i check something like that in other system and i don't get the error .
i start the trace SWELS but in SWEL i just see in the log Trace on trace off nothing more .
