  • JPS-03026: PDPService and PolicyStore Service instance not found in default

    Dear all
    I just installed OIAM and I am facing this error when I try to start AdminServer:
    JPS-03026: PDPService and PolicyStore Service instance not found in default context
    There is an entry in the manual that says that I need to execute this:
    IDM_HOME/common/bin/wlst.sh IDM_HOME/oes/modifygrants.py
    I did it, I see in the weblogic.policy file the entries mentioned in the manual:
    grant codeBase "file:${idm.opss.oracle.home}/modules/oracle.jps_
    ${jrf.version}/*" {permission java.security.AllPermission;
    grant codeBase "file:${idm.opss.oracle.home}/oes/*" {permission java.security.AllPermission;
    grant codeBase "file:${oes.client.home}/-" {permission java.security.AllPermission;
    Still I have the same issue.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

hey Arturo,
I just did this into my server:
1)These steps are to prepared Identity and Policy Stores according to EDG 12035-07. So, webLogic Administration Server will not start after configuring OAM/OIM cluster.
And then you will reach: error message SEVERE: Ldap bootstrap credential retrieval failed. Reason:java.security.AccessControlException: access denied
2)yes, you must modify the security policy for WebLogic using the modifygrants.py script supplied in IAM Suite installation. I did it once and just after running the script my AdminServer process started correctly.
Please check and see if you are not missing something:
18.3.2.2 Editing the weblogic.policy file
To edit the weblogic.policy file, run the following command:
IDM_HOME/common/bin/wlst.sh IDM_HOME/oes/modifygrants.py
Important is:
The above command will only work if use the default policy name, weblogic.policy file. <===check this.
Only if you change the default name for the policy file, then you must open the file in a text editor and add the following lines:
grant codeBase "file:${idm.opss.oracle.home}/modules/oracle.jps_${jrf.version}/*" {
permission java.security.AllPermission;
grant codeBase "file:${idm.opss.oracle.home}/oes/*" {
permission java.security.AllPermission;
grant codeBase "file:${oes.client.home}/-" {
permission java.security.AllPermission;
So, just check if there is no misunderstanding. I just did into my server it's working fine now.
I hope this helps,
Thiago Leoncio.

    This can happen after modifying the calendar properties and not reloading the application. Try reloading or restarting the application. This could also mean the Calendar.properties file has been moved, deleted, or become corrupted. A default properties file can be found at:

  • LOV/Choice List - Default Value in Update OAF page

    Hi Guru's,
    Need help please, I am looking at personalization but its not working for me to default a value in Group by LOV/Choice List.
    Please provide some pointers so that I can achieve this.
    I have Requisition page from Buyer Work Center in Oracle US Purchasing Super user. when I pick requisition to update it. It goes to update page, in here I have a header "request".
    In this request have a Group By LOV/Choice list it has initial value set to "Default", I wanted to set to "Requisition".
    Is it possible by Personlization?.
    OR
    Is it possible by OAF page modification.
    if OAF page update, can I get some information to get Page info and update value.
    Thanks in Advance to all.

    Hi,
    You need not do this via personalization... Set the profile po%def%group%. This should take care of that.

  • Print link on report shows 'no data found' when LOV has not been used

    Hi all,
    I have a simple standard report that queries data based on the value in a Select List. This Select List allows users to pick a year for the report. The LOV has a default of TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'YYYY').
    If I open the page using the associated Tab everything wotks OK. However, if I open the page via a button on my home page, the prink links fails:
    The page opens OK, the select list defaults OK and the report shows the correct data. However, if I click on the 'Download as CSV' or 'Print' links I get 'no data found'.
    If I update the LOV to 2010 everything works. If I set it back to 2009 evenrything works. I just cant get it to work when I open the page.
    I have tried adding computations to get this to work, but this does not seem to help.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Martin

    Hi,
    It would depend on what has been added, if anything, to the redirect. The redirect should just function as though you had typed in a URL into the address bar and pressed Enter. The page doesn't get submitted, so any data entered onto the page itself is, unless it is already in session, lost. A button, however, should submit the page and Apex will store all values in the session. So, if the value you need for the LOV is from the previous page, then this is the preferred method - but, note, that the redirect can also store values provided the page item name and the value is included in the redirect's URL string

  • How do I default the value in an LOV?

    Dear experts,
    What I am trying to achieve is changing the default value in an LOV, based on the value of another field. I have an LOV that lists employee names. There is another field, an account number, which when selected is used to determine the default employee set against this account. This employee I want to use to add into the LOV as a default the value, before the user selects a value in the LOV. The user can still invoke the LOV and search for a different employee, but the functionality I am concered with is setting this default employee.
    I have modified the ProcessForm in the associated controller class. I have obtained the account number and using an SQL query I have obtained the default employer, but I can not seem to set this value in the LOV as a default. Does any one have any ideas?
    For the LOV there are two criteria values in the LOV mapping, the org id and the code combination id, both used in the query to get the default employee.
    Many thanks for your assistance in advance.

  • Defaulting a programmatically created LOV

    Hi,
    I'm trying to default the LOV created Programmatically on the Notifaction Details Page. The LOV gets defaulted to value with oamessagelovinputbean.setValue method.
    defUser = "Clark, Mary";
    oacellformatbean = (OACellFormatBean)oawebbean.findIndexedChildRecursive("userNameCell");
    OAMessageLovInputBean oamessagelovinputbean = (OAMessageLovInputBean)oawebbeanfactory.createWebBean(oapagecontext, "LOV_TEXT", null, "wfUserName" + i);
    oacellformatbean.addIndexedChild(oamessagelovinputbean);
    oamessagelovinputbean.setAttributeValue(OAWebBeanConstants.REGION_CODE, s);
    oamessagelovinputbean.setAttributeValue(OAWebBeanConstants.REGION_APPLICATION_ID, integer);
    oamessagelovinputbean.setAttributeValue(OAWebBeanConstants.DATA_TYPE, "VARCHAR2");
    oamessagelovinputbean.setVAlign("middle");
    oamessagelovinputbean.setShortDesc(oapagecontext.getMessage("FND", "WF_NTF_SEARCH_USER_TIP", null));
    oamessagelovinputbean.addLovRelations(oapagecontext, "wfUserName" + i, "wfUserNameDisplay", "CRITERIA", "N");
    oamessagelovinputbean.addLovRelations(oapagecontext, "wfUserName" + i, "wfUserNameDisplay", "RESULT", "N");
    oamessagelovinputbean.addLovRelations(oapagecontext, "wfUserType" + i, "wfUserOrigSys", "PASSIVE_CRITERIA", "Y");
    oamessagelovinputbean.addLovRelations(oapagecontext, oapagecontext.getParameter("wfFormValName" + i), "wfUserName", "RESULT", false, true);
    oamessagelovinputbean.setValue(oapagecontext,defUser);
    But when I click on Forward without tabbing or clicking on the LOV(I'm not clicking on LOV fiield Since the LOV is already defaulted), the page gives an error
    "Clark, Mary is not a valid role or user name. Please use the list of values to select a user or role"
    This is a programmatic LOV and thus dont have the property of "Disable Validation" tobe set to true.
    Going by intuition of an end user, since the LOVvalue is defaulted and is acceptable to him,then he need not go for further validation.
    My plight is that the page is not even considering the default value to search into the LOV.
    Please suggest any ideas how can I disable validation for a programmatic LOV since I dont have property of "Disable Validation" tobe set to true.
    I've tried oamessagelovinputbean.setUnvalidated(true) but to no avail.
    Thanks

    In short, without validating the value in the LOV if its defaulted , the page should be submitted.
    Alas due to the LOV being programmatic, I cannot set the Disable Validation property to false.
    I've tried the oamessagelovinputbean.setUnvalidated(true) but no success.
    Please throw some light on to this...
    Thanks

  • Applications not being deployed during task sequence - MDT 2013 + SCCM 2012 R2

    Hi everyone,
    I have recently integrated MDT2013 with my SCCM 2012 R2 and I am trying to move away from OSD in SCCM and switch to MDT. I managed to get a blank image deployed and now I am trying to tweak CustomSettings.ini to install applications based on the default
    gateway and model. For some reason, the apps are getting pulled but not deployed. Here is what I have in the files:
    Settings Package - CustomSettings.ini
    [Settings]
    Priority=DefaultGateway, Model, Default
    Properties=MyCustomProperty
    [OptiPlex 9020]
    Applications001=Mozilla Firefox

    192.168.XXX.254=London
    [Poland]
    Applications001=ESET
    [Default]
    DoCapture=No
    OSInstall=Y
    SkipCapture=YES
    SkipAdminPassword=NO
    SkipProductKey=YES
    Administrators001=myDomain\adminGroup
    Applications001=Skype
    Applications002=Office Professional Plus 2010
    When the TS runs, I can see it's getting all the apps from the list, here is a snippet from ZTIGather.log
    Using from [Settings]: Rule Priority = DEFAULTGATEWAY, MODEL, DEFAULT
    ------ Processing the [DEFAULTGATEWAY] section ------

    ZTICoalesce processing completed successfully.
    Now when I go to the smsts.log file, I can see this:
    App policy for 'ESET' not received. Make sure the application is marked for dynamic app install
    Policy download failed, hr=0x80004005
    and later
    Failed to run the action: Install Application.
    Unspecified error (Error: 80004005; Source: Windows)
    After that, no other apps are mentioned and seems like the failure on ESET drops the whole sequence and moves forward. I can see later the default admin being added correctly.
    Any ideas what I may be missing here? Especially on the failed policy download?
    Thanks
    Jakub

    HI,
    "App policy for 'ESET' not received. Make sure the application is marked for dynamic app install"
    Is the ESET application deployed? it sounds like it could be the check box on the application "Allow this application to be installed from install application task sequence action without beeing deployed" that is missing? If the application isn't
    deployed this checkbox must be ticked.

  • How to refresh LOV

    I have an application that uses dynamic taskflows.
    In one task flow, taskflowA, an enduser can create new roles for users.
    In another task flow, taskflowB, the enduser can assign roles to users.
    The roles that can be assigned to users are provided using a LOV so the rolename shows rather than just the roleId.
    How can I get the LOV used in taskflowB to show the latest changes to the roles table that was made in taskflowA.
    I dropped the Execute operation of the data collection (VO) that is used to create the LOV. The default activity of the taskflow now starts with a method call (Execute) before displaying the view Activity.
    Unfortuately, that did work, no new roles show up in the LOV.
    Any suggestions?
    (I'm assuming that when the taskflow switches in the dynamic region, the taskflow is re-executing so the method-call activity will be called. Is that correct?)

    Cvele/Frank,
    Thanks for your responses.
    In the meantime, I created my own implementation of a ViewRowImpl and added the following methods listed below, which seem to work to refresh the lists.
    Cvele, Is there some advantage/benefit to working through the ListBinding RowSet Iterator rather than access the rowset directly? (Your code shows "getListBindingRSI((ListBindingDef)obj).getRowSet().executeQuery();").
    Frank, the taskflows do not share the same DataControl or transaction, so I'm making sure the user commits the changes in the first taskflow.
    How exactly do I refresh the taskflow -- using a RegionController?
    public class AdminUserRoleVORowImpl extends CsaViewRowImpl implements AdminUserRoleVORow {
    public void refreshAdminUserList(){
    System.out.println("executing refresh of AdminUserList");
    this.getAdminUserVoRo1().executeQuery();
    public void refreshRoleList(){
    System.out.println("executing refresh of RoleList");
    this.getRoleVoRo1().executeQuery();
    }{code}

  • Resetting query fields on LOV popup

    I'm having an issue with LOV popups on inputListOfValues components. If I do a query based on one or more attributes of the LOV and then exit the search and select popup (either by selecting a result and clicking OK, or just by canceling the popup), whatever I have typed will still be there the next time I go to this LOV's popup, except for one field of the query, the one that needs to be set on the VO's attribute I'm using the LOV on. which will be empty. Also, the reset button in the popup doesn't work.
    This only happens if I set AM Pooling to false on the Application Module I'm using for the VO that's using the LOV. By default AM Pooling is on, and then everything works as it should, the reset button works and the fields on the popup get reset each time I enter the popup, which is what I want. It's like this for every LOV in the application (which are all View Objects that use entities)
    I'm using JDeveloper 11.1.1.7

    If anyone's interested, I found out what was wrong, the page item the LOV query is referencing has to be set at page load. So if I put a computation to set :P3_VALUE "before header" it will work fine, otherwise it will not. If I use a select list it does not care when :P3_VALUE is set as long as it's sequence if before the LOV page item itself. I've noticed this happens with other things in apex. For example a flash chart has to have variables used defined "before header" load.

  • Default date using Personalization

    Hi All,
    Is it possible to default a date field with todays date using Personalization techniques , if yes please tell me how.
    I have to default 'Expenditure Item Date' in iProc checkout pages to current date.
    thanks
    Sudeep

    Hi Ramkumar,
    Thanks for your promt reply.
    Actually my requirement is to default the Expenditure date field to SYSDATE and also the Expenditure Org each time the Project LOV is modified.This is on the iProcurement Checkout page (CheckoutSummaryPG.xml)
    For this I extended the ProjectLovVO to include 2 attributes- one for the date field and the other for the Expenditure Organization field. I later created LOV mappings to default the values to these 2 fields. It happens correct for the first time but when I modify the Task Lov on the same page the value displayed in the Expenditure Date field is lost. However the Expenditure Org field retains its value.
    The Expenditure Org field was an LOV which I personalised and made Read Only and by setting the value for both the Expenditure Org name as well as the Form value for Expenditure Org Id I was able to retain the value even after the page was refreshed.
    The Expenditure Date field was a Message Text Input field which I made read only. I even attached a form value mapped to the same view object attribute as the message Text Input field but still it gets refreshed.
    Hope the requirement is clear. Please suggest a solution for this.
    Thanks in advance.
    Jasmine.

  • USMT Capture Doesn't Run on "Required" OSD Task Sequences?

    Hello,
    I have a strange issue with USMT and my OSD Task Sequence. I'm upgrading Windows XP to Windows 7 Enterprise via in-place upgrade with SCCM 2012 SP1 integrated with MDT. My TS runs 100% perfectly if I deploy the TS to my collection, make it "Available,"
    and run it from the Software Center. All configured profiles get copied and restored using hardlinks as expected.
    When I create a "Required" deployment, however, and let it run on it's own, the USMT never runs and I lose all profile information as a result of the drive format. The rest of the TS runs as expected, but as I said, the USMT (scanstate.exe) won't
    run. There are no discernible errors in the SMSTS.log file. I see where it processes my TS variable (OSDMigrateAdditionalCaptureOptions) and where it processes the "Capture User State" step, but scanstate.exe never kicks off or creates a log file.
    Am I missing something here? Is this expected behavior? I can't find documentation on this, at least not yet. I have reproduced this exact behavior three times now, and I'm out of ideas.

    Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. This can be done using "Available," but having to log in to each machine in order to kick-off the TS via Software Center seems inefficient.

    My deployments have the same settings (except the ones that change when going from Available to Required, of course), so that doesn't appear to be the culprit. I re-examined my Capture User State step, and it looks fine, but I'll post my settings just in
    case I'm missing something. I can't post the screen capture here for some reason, so below is an outline of my settings:
    Package for User State Migration Tool: (My USMT package is listed here)
    Capture all user profiles by using standard options is selected
    Verbose Logging is OFF
    Skip files using EFS is OFF
    Copy by using file system access is selected
    Continue if some files cannot be captured is ON
    Capture locally by using links instead of by copying files is OFF
    Capture off-line mode (Windows PE Only) is OFF
    Capture by using VSS is not selected
