In the house provisioning profile

Hi! I got problem on in the house provisioning profile on both iphone and ipad... My little brother accidentally delete it can any body know how to retrieve it??? Thanks... Then when it deleted my msg keeps on crushing and my 3G network keeps on disconnecting... Thanks in advance...

"what does it take to get final apps working on an iOS 7 iPad"
Well most of the school made tutorials that i've seen over years, didn't really have too much code, so it may not take much at all to get it working - it might even work straight away.
There's always some work required - but the pay off will be worth the effort.
Problems to look out for :-
can't use 3rd party xtras,
can't use embedded fonts,
can't have easy keyboard entry (you'll need to redesign everything for touch),
scroll text fields need a bit of reworking,
11khz sounds files need to be set higher,
some 8 bit graphics bomb out,
there are some lingo commands that just seem to bomb out the app (work around these with other lingo commands!)
embedded Flash objects need a little bit of work to get them working right,
videos need to be in swf format.
If you're only running them on (in school) iPads - i'd say go with the side loading option.
best not to bother with the app store - if you can.
There are a few other enterprise options that might also suit.

  • Are the eBis provisioning profiles stored in OID?

Details of eBis provisioning profiles stored in OID
Recently I came across a situation where the provisioning profile had stopped working after moving our eBis servers to a new host. Even though we deregistered and reregistered OID in EBS, we are unable to get the synch to work. There are no obvious errors available in the logs (ods log/out files or the diagnostics file).
I have tried increasing the log level of provisioning profile to all and the dip services to level 32 (trace) and I don't seem to see any errors.
    EBS - 12.1.3/11.2.0.2
    OID - 11.1.1.4
I was just wondering if the OID stores the details of EBS provisioning profile in any of the metadata tables or the config files.
Any pointers will be highly appreciated.
    Kind Regards
    Sanjay

Kees, the color profiles are still stored in your user library in
    ~/ColorSync/Profiles/
I can't find them back in  the /library/colorSync/Profiles.
Are you looking in the System Library folder /Library/colorSync/Profiles  at the top level of your system drive?
As you probably know, your User Library is hidden since Mac OS X Lion.
You can reveal it from the Finder's "Go" menu in the main menu bar:
    Finder > Go
Then hold down to options-key ⌥, until Library appears in the drop-down menu. Select it and open the Library.

  • Has anyone received the removing provisioning profile will change settings on your iPone?

I just received an alert that my Provisioning Profile Expiration "ci_4065laurene" will expire in 29 days.  I have no idea what that means.  It's the original iPhone 2G on the Edge network. Running 3.1.3 (7E18) purchased in 2007. Everything works great and still has the original battery.  AT&T said call apple and they said it's probably and APP that will expire.

  • Provisioning Profile Expiration Pop-up

When I woke up my iPhone this morning it had this message on the screen:
    Provisioning Profile Expiration
Provisioning Profile "CST Ad Hoc" will expire in 13 days.
    [Remind Me] [Show Me]
I tapped Show Me, and got this:
    Settings
    General
    Profile
    Provisioning
    CST Ad Hoc
    Verified [Remove]
    Received Aug 22, 2009
    Expires Mar 8, 2010 (in 13 days)
Do I need to do anything about this?
    Thanks for your assistance!
    Peter

I'm retired, so I don't have any IT folks to blame. Is this profile something an app has created? If so, is there any way to find out what app created it, so I can contact the developer?
The "CST" in the message makes me wonder if it has to do with the upcoming time change, but March 8 is six days short of the time change.

  • Distribution Provisioning Profile - Device ERROR

    Hey,
I created a Distribution Provisioning Profile, but somehow, I get an error...
When I click Build and Go I get an alert window: The the device doesn't have provisioning profile the application was signed with. (iPhone SDK 2.2.1)
It's strange, because I have the Development Provisioning Profile on my iPod Touch, but somehow, I can't sign it for distribution.
Can someone tell me, what the mistake is? I created an other Distribution Provisioning Profile maybe 3 months ago, and that worked, so it is really strange, having these problems now.
Thank you very much in advance!

    Start over...
Did you create/download all three of these?
    • yourapp_nameprofileName.mobileprovision
    • distribution_identity.cer
    • AppleWWDRCA.cer
Did you keychain access/approve the new distribution certs?
Did you toss all the new k'chained d'certs onto the project?
Did you clone the app's release configuration and rename it 'Distribution'?
Did you select the new 'iPhone Distribution' code sign profile for both instances in the apps's build tab?
Did you close/open the project after the above?
Did you configure the project for device and distribution & build for release in all the right places?
Did you include a 57X57 app icon in png format?
Again, if the error mentions 'device', you still have a 'device' provisioning certificate mixed into the 'distribution' process at some point. Sorry, but I can't tell what you may have done to get to that point, exactly.
In my experience, it is quicker to clean out and start over with fresh distribution certificates, repeating the entire distribution/configuration/build/upload process, step-by-step, than it is to probe for one or more 'things' that may be contributing to the problem.

  • Distribution Provisioning Profile not installing on device?

    Hi,
When I drag my distribution provisioning profile to X-code's organizer, in order to install it on my device, it appears disable-like and I can't check the checkmark... Because of this I can't distribute my app. Any suggestions?
    Thanx,

I am having the same problem. The profile in organizer does not get tick marked and remains gray indicating not installed on the device. Everything is working fine for the development provisioning profile. This problem only with distribution provisioning profile. Any solutions to this problem?

  • How to modify OID to EBS provisioning profile to synch custom attributes.

Is there a way to modify the default provisioning profile which is used for OID to EBS synchronization ?

    Hi Nishith,
    Please clarify me once again....
I took user.xml from MDS, I haven't use sandbox for this approach. You want me to export "UserEo.xml,UserEo.xml.xml, UserVo.xml,UserVo.xml.xml" files from MDS and make those changes and import back...
Can you please help me to find the path of those xml files "UserEo.xml,UserEo.xml.xml, UserVo.xml,UserVo.xml.xml", also do i also need to use sandbox feature to achieve this ?
    Thanks in advance...

  • Completely stuck with provisioning profiles which have expired - any ideas?

My various certs and provisioning profiles seem to have expired, so I tried recreating them and so on, but I can't build anything now for the following error:
    Checking Dependencies
CodeSign error: a valid provisioning profile is required for product type 'Application' in SDK 'Device - iPhone OS 2.0'
I cleaned out all the old provisioning profiles from the Xcode organizer.
In the dev portal, I created new certs for myself for distribution and for app store distribution and installed them in my keychain. And I made sure the provisioning profiles contained the app id. (So many terms I am getting mixed up, but trying to keep them all straight.)
In the Xcode organizer I installed the developers provisioning profile in my iPhone.
Also in the Xcode organizer I installed the developers provisioning profile and the app store distribution profile under "provisioning profiles". Neither show any warnings or errors. And I can select either one in the app target's "Code Signing Identity". Both show up in the popup menu and look fine there.
But when I try to build for app store distribution or for my device I get that error above.
I am stuck as to what I might check next. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    doug

I've spent all day on this and haven't progressed an iota. I am in provisioning profile h*ll.
It's not like I'm a rank beginner - my friend and I have 8 apps up at the app store already and have been doing this since September. But since these certs expired, I just haven't been able to get moving again.
Everything works just fine in the simulator, but I can't generate a build for the iPhone or the app store without the error mentioned in my first message occurring.
Nobody else is having problems after their certs or developer provisioning profiles expire when they try to generate and install new ones?
I downloaded the most recent iPhone Developer Program User Guide v2.4 and went page-by-page, step-by-step doing everything from scratch, but it just doesn't seem to work anymore.
    ...sigh...

  • [iPhone] How to delete Provisioning Profile, AppID (for device testing)

Hi, on the developer portal, I'd like to get rid of the appID and provisioning profile.
I have already deleted the certificate.
I had removed the profile from Xcode organizer and that also removed the profile from my iPhone.
However, http://developer.apple.com/iphone/manage/provisioningprofiles/index.action continues to list the profile. Its status is now marked as "Invalid" and clicking on the "Modify" button does nothing
Does anyone know how to remove the profile from my program-portal settings. I'm assuming the profile is invalid because I've deleted the certificate.
The ~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles directory is empty and I have no other subdirectories under ~/Library/MobileDevice. So I don't know where this profile is coming from
I'd also like to delete the appID. Does anyone know how to delete an appID
Btw I'm deleting all this because of the problem described in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1735100

After I added a second provisioning profile, the http://developer.apple.com/iphone/manage/provisioningprofiles/index.action page gave me a button to delete the first profile.
So I was able to delete the first provisioning profile.
I haven't found any way to delete an App ID.
So for now, I'm just going to assume that Apple doesn't let developers remove any App IDs (even though it is the developers who create these App IDs)
However, aside from the unnecessary clutter, I'm not concerned about this limitation
was able to create a new App ID and I'm using the new AppID now.
I was able to fix the problem decsribed in http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1735100. I'll update that thread after a while.

  • Enterprise Provisioning Profile Expiration Details

Unless you take action to revoke a profile, it is good for one year.

  • What is a "Team Provisioning Profile"?

On the iphone 3GS, in Settings, under Profile, I must have done something that now shows that my Profile is "Team Provisioning". I have no idea what that is.
Now I've been getting alerts that say the Team Provisioning Profile is about to expire, and that I should renew.  But I don't know what it is.
Can someone explain to me whether or not it's connected somehow to one of my apps, or if it's system related (and thus, necessary), or whether it's something I should get rid of.
    Thanks

Thank you so much for the interest in getting me past this silly glitch. Well, no I'm not a beta tester, and I don't have an Exchange account.  So, it's looking as though I did do something that unkowningly installed this.  So, sounds like I should let the Team Provisioning Profile expire, right?

  • Difference between Developer provisioning profile and a Distribution one

With both a Developer provisioning profile and a Distribution Ad Hoc provisioning profile, an app can be installed on a designated device.
Is the only practical difference between the two kinds the fact that the Developer provisioning profile eventually expires?
    Thanks,
    doug

A compiled class has two concealed initialisation methods, class initialization <clinit> and instance initialization <init>.
These are created by concatenating initialisation blocks and initial value clauses associated with fields of the class in the order they appear in the source.
Class initialisation is performed the first time a class is "actively used", which means either by accessing a static field or member or by instanciating the class. It's performed first, and the initialisation methods are syncrhonized on the class, so that the class is effectively locked until it finishes.
The normal sequence of isntantiating the class is:
    1) Call <clinit> if it hasn't been called.
    2) Allocate the space for the instance and clear the fields to zero/null
    3) Call <init>
    4) Execute the constructor
    <init> first calls super.<init>

  • Problem setting provisioning profile in Simulator mode in XCode 3.1

    Hi all
We have a problem compiling our project after updating XCode to the newest Version (XCode 3.1 and SDK 2.1).
It's now impossible to select out provisioning profile for the "Simulator | Debug" Settings. "Device | Debug" works perfectly.
What we do: Under Project Settings - Code Signing Provisioning Profile" we select our profile. This works under "Device Settings" but not under "Simulator Settings".
Prior to this version we had no problems.
Anybody had a similar problem and could give us any hints?
    Thanks in advance
    Daniel

I had similar problems: my solution is that I run in Simulator mode with the default provisioning profile (not my profile, the one that you get when you reset the Code Signing Provisioning Profile parameter). I then use my own profile for distribution (even though I only succeeded in building with Active SDK = iPhone OS 2.1).
As regards the Debug mode, it looks like it works as simulator, with the default provisioning profile, but in the build log it seems to hook my profile in some way.
Anyhow, there is definitely something weird in the new SDK 2.1.

  • Downloading Distribution Provisioning Profiles

    Hi all.
I have followed the steps to generate and download the distribution profiles for my applications (two of them), but the "Download" button on the Distribution Provisioning Profiles page of the iPhone Dev Center webpages is an "inactive" button... it won't let me click.
Is there a set amount of time I have to wait before I can download that? I'd really like to get my app in before the distribution cutoff time today...

    Basically, yeah.
Thanks to the previous reply, I saw that even though I had renewed previous certificates after the 2008/06/09 date, they had been invalidated, and I needed to re-validate them, and get that all working again first.
it's all good now, and I was able to build and submit my applications.
    Thanks!
