In the new version of Pages, how do I print with comments and tracked changes?
I am using the new version of Pages, and am trying to print (either in hard copy or to a PDF) a document to which I have added comments and made tracked changes. I would like the printed (or PDF) version of the document to show the comments and tracked changes. Does anyone know whether this is possible, and, if so, how to do this?
Try the File > Export to command. One of the formats is txt (plain text) so it might not be what you're looking for.

In the new version of Pages, the text in the tables are no long clear and sharp as before, they look embedded on all print outs. How can I change this.

In Pages 09 we can do Mail Merge and Import Styles from a document. Can someone please explain how we can do this with the new version of Pages 5.1. Even Apple solutions are only valid for Pages Version 09. What a DOWN GRADE! Thank god Pages 09 is still there.

Just use Pages '09, which should be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Rate/review Pages 5 in the App Store.

Hi,
Does anyone know how how to add extra pages to template documents in the new version of Pages which carry over the same formatting, borders, styles etc? In iWorks09, all styles, borders etc just used to carry over to the next page. In the new Pages, this doesn't seem to happen. Unless I'm missing something.
Any help would be appreciated.Everything is a matter of degree! (Speaking for myself).

To change all the "-" by — that starts a dialogue on a book, I used to copy and past "Return" + "-" to ensure that all the "-" will not be change. But on the new version of Page if I select the "Return" character, and past it on "Find", the "Space" is appearing. How to select the "Return" character ? hanks for your help.
Select a song. Hit command-I (Mac) or Ctrl-I (Windows). In the pane which opens select the 'Artwork' tab. Drag an image to the space.
Or, select an album: same keystroke. In the pane which opens is a space labelled 'Artwork' - drag an image there. -

I can´t belive it, but the new version of Pages (5.0), is very very different than the old version, fonts, templates and others stuffs can´t work.
Please, what can we do . . . We need read the manual, or that situation is for the changes and you work in there?
Comment please, we need your help.
PS. How can install fonts (fonts presents in the old version) for the new version?

No puedo creerlo, pero la nueva versión de Pages (5.0), es muy muy diferente a la versión anterior, fuentes, plantillas, formatos y otras cosas no funcionan en la nueva versión.

You do not install fonts in Pages, you install them in the System. Purchase/Download them and double click on them to install.
The manual for Pages 5 is online. Click on the link under the Help menu.

About the new version of Pages in Maverick
With the new version of Pages, in Maverick, I don't find any longer the option that allowed visualization of two pages of one file on screen. Does anybody know how to do or was that option disabled?

Text to Speech does not appear to be working in the new version of Pages
I have tried several ways to get the text to speech feature to work with the new version of Pages, but haven't yet had success. I use that feature in editing my articles alot, so I guess I'll stick with Pages 09 for now.

By the way, the SAVE botton stays the same even I change erverything in my document. Please, a have a work to finish, **** me. What I can do abou it?

I have been editing a document on my MacBook Pro and iPad, which has the newer versions of Pages. Now, I cannot open on My MacBook. It says I need a newer version of OS. However, I'm not showing a newer version being availabe!!! Can anyone help???
That is Pages for iPad v2.0, which Pages '09 v4.3 can't read.
You need to either stick with the older version of Pages on the iPad or get Pages 5 for the Mac which is only available if you are running OSX 10.9 Mavericks.
Unfortunately that is not the end of your woes because Apple has made iCloud convert the files to Pages 5 now, and Pages 5 has over 90 features deleted on top of doing a shocking job of converting older Pages files.

"Papers" citation manager no longer works with the new version of pages '13. Is there a fix out there?
Do take a look out there. It is a third party applications so better check out Papers site.

Where are you seeing this?
The app is not telling you that you need 9.1 on your iPad.
It does not use iTunes on the iPad for anything.
I'm trying to figure the version on my iPad.
It is the version that comes with your specific iOS firmware version.
But again, it is irrelevant to the app.
If you just got the iPad, it (the iPad) requires iTunes 10.4 on your computer. -
i am using the trial version of pages. how do i transfer the letter heading i have created to Word as a template? comes out fuzzy in Word when i try.
