No it does not. It allows you to buy a cable to TRY to connect the iPhone to TV. I did. It does not work - or better, it works 1 out of 10 tries.
You CANNOT see pictures, either synced or taken by the iPhone - to say you can see whatever you see on the iPhone screen is an insane statement.
If you are lucky, you can watch youtube for a while but DO NOT MOVE the phone, you will be left with sound only.
And no, it is not your TV set at fault, it is the really poor software on the iPhone (now running 1.2)

Ok so I happened to figure it out while on the phone to apple support. Even though the guy was very nice, I think I knew more than him! He was explaining very basic resolution principles I played about. I had the second option in displays resolution. All I did was unplug the HDMI cable, click on 'best for display' then plugged the HDMI in and my resolution on the normal monitor changed to the normal blue, then went black momentarily and then changed to a strange resolution but another window appeared that said SONY BRAVIA HDMI at the top! Hey presto! Don't know why it didn't do it yesterday - I probably left the HDMI cable in or something! Oh well. Problem solved!

I purchased an iphone second hand and it was clearly stolen and now I could possibly be out of $300. I've called the owner to see what we could figure out and she has not answered. Is there anything I can do? Or am I out of $300? Please help!
If the repair shop was not apple certified repair shop then Apple will not replace/ or touch that device with a ten foot pole sadly. I'd follow Rudegar's advise and try anthoer repair shop as sadly it sounds like you got jipped by the original owner. Always verify your infomation through the company before you hand over the money!

I took photographs with my Lumix camera (JPG) and put the sd chip into a jump drive and put them into my usb port to load. The images never loaded and now the sd chip has no images when I put it back into the camera. What can I do to restore the images? Is there Mac compatible software out ther to restore them? I am running a Macbook Pro OS X v 10.7.5. Thanks for your help.
I'm not sure I can help you with this situation. Odds are you probably can't recover the images if they aren't hidden in the card, but this just seems to be a fluke. I've had flash drives that be plugged in only to find out that was their iminant death.

I have successfully upgraded 4S to iOs7. When I go to check my email, I continually get the message that I need to read the new iCloud terms. When I click ok I am directed to the Settings / Mail, Contacts, Calendars page. The Accounts section is greyed out. I can't click on iCloud (to read the terms or to sign out to sign in with my new Apple ID) or any of the Accounts. The Mail and lower sections of Mail, Contacts, Calendars is accessible. On the Settings page, iCloud, FaceTime, Twitter/Facebook/Flickr/Vimeo are all greyed out as well.

It sounds like you are unable to turn on Wi-Fi because the option is grayed out in Settings. Use these steps from the following article named:

Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.

Make sure that your date and time settings and time zone are accurate (Settings - General - Date and Time). Reset your phone to 'Set Automatically' and then try signing in again - this worked for me. My date/time settings were not automatic (candy crush cheats!!).

I tried sending a smaller picture (about 300 kb) to some of my family members and before it got to them the computer timed out (very quickly, I might add) so it wouldn't send. We have fairly slow internet speed at times and when I was using XP, under tools there was a feature to increase the time so the computer didn't time out as fast. I had it set at about two minutes. I can't seem to find the same feature under tools in Windows8. I'd really like to be able to address this problem. Thanks for your help.
