In Tools, I have a resume update message but it wont update.

I am having problems with YouTube and was checking my computer settings. I have found in my Firefox Tools menu a message that reads "Paused Update". I do not remember pausing an update so when I click on it to resume it does not do anything. It appears to be frozen as nothing in the completion bar shows anything. I'm not sure if this is related to my YouTube issues but it is confusing as I have not paused anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try resetting the software update system by deleting the files and folders as shown in the "Software Update not working properly" section of this link - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Software_Update

The only way if if you have the previous version that was compatible with your iPod such as in the computer's recycle bin/Trash or i a computer file backup. In that case delete the version now in your iTunes library and copy the one there and then sync it to your iPod.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

iPhoto is Apple's included program to manage your photo's and pictures.
It receives updates over time with Software updates and new machine or iLife purchases.
When iPhoto gets updated or a newer version is used, it may alter iPhoto support files, but newer iPhoto versions usually always compatible with older files which it then updates.
If you used a newer iPhoto on your iPhoto support files, then they got altered to the newer format, older iPhoto versions can't read the older format.
Somewhere along the line you somehow got a older version of iPhoto on your computer, you need to fine the newer version of iPhoto (not this photo manager, sounds like another program)
Or somewhere along the line you used a newer iPhoto version (like on another Mac) and it altered the iPhoto support files on your older version of iPhoto.
So the key here is to find the newest version of iPhoto and use that to access your iPhoto support files.
If you didn't access your iPhoto support files from another Mac, then you should have the newer iPhoto version on your computer.
Once you find it, and get it in the Dock, you should remove the older iPhoto version from your computer to prevent this from happening again.
Lastly, if the newer version of iPhoto is somehow gone off your computer, you should be able to get a copy off the latest OS X install disk or iLife using a free program called Pacifist.

the question is: does it play unter iTunes on your computer? If yes, then you have to convert the video in an iPad compatible format. You can do that within iTunes. Under iTunes click on the left side on "Movies" and find your video. Select it. Then find in the menu bar "Advanced" and the menu point "Create iPad or Apple TV version". Your computer will do the rest. When finished you should have two versions of the video, the original version and the new iPad version. Feel free to delete the original version, if you don't have any other need for it. The iPad version will play fine on your iPad.
If your original video doesn't play under iTunes, you have to convert it to a Quicktime format first. In this case, please give us more details on the format your original video is stored in.

i have a jukebox nomad 3 but it wont power up. All i have is the ac power cord no battery. It havnt been working for about 6 months and i have just found it again. I really want it to work again. As part of my message reads above; I keep getting an i-tunes update message and when I click on the OK to download it, I get an error message saying there was a problem and I need to go to Tools>manual download. Well, I don't know how to do that even though I gave it my best try. I went to the support sight and it had the following message;
1. Remove iTunes and related components from the Control Panel
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order. Then, restart your computer:

This is a legacy conversation from an old Skype client. Sending messages is not supported. But I am updated and so are my friends! This has been very stressful for me.. I have updated skype to it's latest client but can only limit me to so much. Not sure what I am doing wrong but I need help.
