  • Stock in transit for Block stock

Kindly suggest on scenario below here with.
As like stock in transit can be seen through Mov. type 313,303 for un resticted stock. Can we see the stock in transit for Block stock. If so how.?
    Thanks & Regards
    Sudhansu

    Hi,
In the two-step process,  Inventory Management function isonly used.
    Issuing plant
    MB1B --> Movement type - 303
Issuing plant & Storage location ---> Enter the receiving plant and storage location and quantity.
    Receiving plat
    MB1B --> movement tyoe- 305
Enter the receiving plant and storage location. The material and quantity received.
The above process can be replicated using the TCode MIGO
Step 1 : Remove from Storage  -- Other --Movement Type 303 Enter the From and Destination plant in the Transfer posting tab.
Step 2: Place in Storage -- Other/ Material Document (generated at the time of issue) movement tyoe- 305
Enter the material and quantity received.
Placement in Storage is only made in the unrestricted stock.
Possible reasons for carrying out the a stock transfer in two steps are:
    a)  The plants are located at quite a distance from each other and the goods are in transit for a prolonged period of time;
    b)  there is one employee responsible at each plant, and each can only post movements for his/her own plant.
    hope you understand.

  • Valuation of stock in transit for a given period

How can I find the valuation type for the stock in transit at a given period?
I have 6000 units in transit to plant 2222 and I want to find out its valuation. I believe I either need to know the plant of origin and batch or the destination plant and batch, but I do not know how to get this information.
    Thank you

    Hi,
Check MB5T transaction to find out the total stock in transit.
In order to find out the same period wise, check MB51 Report using the mov.types 641 & 101. By reconciling the same you can findout which are all pending.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • ATP for 'Stock in transit' for 3rd Party scenario

    We have a scenario:
For warehouse replenishments an STO is created and then a delivery is subsequently created for the STO. Once the delivery has been shipped out of the manufacturing facility (post goods issued) the materials on the delivery are transferred from unrestricted-stock at the manufacturing facility to stock-in-transit at the receiving warehouse. Once the stock is in transit to the third-party warehouses, ATP should then take it into consideration when deliveries are created from the third-party warehouses to customers.
Now how to take the ATP check for 3rd party del. into consideration for STO?
    STO document type is UD
Goods issue movement type is 641
Goods receipt movement type is 101

    Some useful info here..

  • Ownership, In-Transit for Direct Shipments

    Hello SAP SD Gurus,
My question is about to the Cross-Company Direct Shipment process, related to incoterms, ownership, and In-transit (visibility).
    A: Customer
    B: Selling Plant (Germany)
    C: Supplying Plant (China)
A sends a PO to B – B sends a Sales Order to C to ship to A with Incoterm DDP.  DDP signifies “ownership belongs to B until the material arrives at the customer’s door”.  Our Finance people want to have visibility of this product in B’s in-transit until it’s delivered to the customer.
How is this possible without creating a virtual plant, or Sloc?  How do we have visibility at the material level, with value?
    Rico92

    Hello Santosh,
Customer Service resides in B so they will initiate the Sales Order to ship directly to A from C’s stock.  C will then bill B, and in turn, B will bill A.
    Thank you for your reply!

  • HERE Transit for PVTA

PVTA is a public transit system in Western Massachusetts. HERE Transit appears to have about half the routes. For destinations I know to be connected by one bus line, it suggests two buses going far out of the way. Elsewhere when two will do, it suggests four buses travelling all over the region to get there in a few hours. And the nearby transit function notices some buses but not others. What needing how this happens and whether coverage of PVTA could improve?

Something odd here .. It was (and still) not appearing under Nokia Collection for India. But I could download it thru' the QR Code and its working fine too ...
Othr thing is parts of Australia are shown under coverage.. Refer the attachment showing just one such ...

  • How to implement issuing stock in-transit for stock transport orders

    Hello,
We are using stock transport orders in SAP. At the moment the supplying plant does a post goods issue for the delivery, the stock in-transit is "owned" by the receiving plant. Our Finance department wants this to be changed in such a way that the stock will be owned by the issuing plant until it has been received by the reciving plant.
It seems there is a possibility to do that, but I can not figure out what exactly needs to be done. Can someone explain to me the steps that need to be taken to implement this?
    Thanks,
    Ed

  • Table for Storage to Storage Stock in Transit.

    Dear Friends,
There are two storage locations : A and B
Created STO  and Posted  goods issue with VL10B & VL02N from Storage Location A but not received in Storage Location B
I can find this stock in report MB5T.
Now my requirement is to have the Table and Field for the stock in Transit for a material specific to storage Location B.
I am unable to find them in MARC or MARD and MSEG also does not give the right picture. This is for a report to be developed.
    Thanks

  • Media Recovery Waiting for thread 1 sequence (in transit)

I have rebuilt our standby database using an rman duplicate since it was missing many archive logs.
Following the duplicate, the standby is now almost in sync with the primary. Logs are shipping across but are not being applied in a timely manner. How long should it take for an archive log from the primary to be applied to the standby?
I need to know this so that a proper script can be set up to check the primary and standby. At the moment they are never exactly in sync - always one sequence number behind the primary.
Why is the standby is not applying in a timely manner?
    From the alert log:
Media Recovery Waiting for thread 1 sequence 11278 (in transit)
The log seems to be "in transit" for a long time
    PRIMARY:
    SQL> select max (sequence#) current_seq from v$log;
    CURRENT_SEQ
    11278

I should add that I understand that for the Primary and Standby to be out by one log is not cause for concern (they are applying). Its just that I wanted to script a check that would compare them both, and and the moment they are never equal - when I understand that they should be and that the logs should be applied almost immediately.

How long should it take for an archive log from the primary to be applied to the standby?depends on network speed also.
make sure the archives are shipped to standby location.
    PRIMARY:
    SQL> select max (sequence#) current_seq from v$log;
    CURRENT_SEQ
11278(this is log not archivelog ) ..... :)SB:
    SQL> select MAX (SEQUENCE#), APPLIED FROM V$ARCHIVED_LOG where APPLIED ='YES' GROUP BY APPLIED;
    MAX(SEQUENCE#) APP
    11277 YES
Hi check is MRP started or not?
primary database you need not check current sequence, check last generated sequence..not current sequence.
current sequence is redo log which has been not yet archived
I think everything is perfect here.. no issues.
Hope you understood, let me know if not clear , thanks.

  • Top Questions for HERE Maps & Drive & Transit

This thread is to share some of the common issues that are being raised in relation to the HERE Maps, HERE Drive and HERE Transit releases.
Currently split in to the following sections:
    HERE Maps for Windows Phone
    HERE Drive for Windows Phone
    HERE Transit for Windows Phone
Nokia Maps & Drive for Symbian
    HERE Maps for Windows Phone
Can I sync my Maps favourites from my Symbian phone to my Windows Phone?
Yes. Just sync the favourites on your Symbian phone with here.com. See the user guide of your Symbian phone for info on how to do this.
Your favourites in here.com are automatically synced with your Windows Phone, if you're signed in to your Nokia account with your phone.
    Does HERE Maps work offline?
Yes, on Windows Phone 8 devices HERE Maps can be used also in offline mode.
With Nokia Maps on the Windows Phone 7 devices you need an online connection. In these devices the map data is streamed on as needed basis and it is not cached.
Can I start Drive navigation from HERE Maps in my Nokia Lumia phone?
Yes, on Windows Phone 8 devices you can start drive navigation from HERE Maps.
On Windows Phone 7 devices you need to go to the Nokia Drive application to start the navigation.
Why can't HERE Maps find my location?
Check that you've allowed HERE Maps and your phone to find your location.
    In HERE Maps
Go to Settings in the HERE Maps app and turn on Use your location
    In your phone settings
In your phone's main menu, tap Settings > location > on.
Things that can affect your GPS signal may include: being indoors, tall buildings, poor weather and some car windscreens. You'll also get a better fix on your location if you've got a data connection.
    HERE Drive for Windows Phone
Can I use HERE Drive without a data connection?
Yes. To use HERE Drive offline, tap Settings and choose Connection. You can then toggle between offline and online.
Search results might be limited in offline mode. To be able to navigate offline, you need to download a map to your phone.
What is the difference between HERE Maps and HERE Drive?
HERE Drive is an application for voice-guided turn-by-turn driving navigation. HERE Maps is a map application which shows your current position and interesting places around you. You can also plan routes in HERE Maps but the app will launch HERE Drive for turn-by-turn navigation
What's the difference between HERE Drive and HERE Drive+?
HERE Drive offers turn-by-turn navigation in a single country or area, depending on the country of your SIM. Worldwide navigation is possible by purchasing an upgrade.
HERE Drive+ is a premium app that comes with worldwide turn-by-turn navigation from the start. You can use it with or without a SIM.
Users of HERE Drive can buy an upgrade to HERE Drive+ through the Windows Phone Store.
    HERE Transit for Windows Phone
How do I install the HERE Transit application in my Windows Phone?
Download and install HERE Transit from Microsoft Store. Start Store in your phone and search for HERE Transit or browse in Nokia collection.
In Windows Phone 7 devices the corresponding app is Nokia Transport and it can be installed from Marketplace.
Why can't HERE Transit find my route?
If you're having trouble getting a route:
Make sure the date, time and time zone on your phone are set properly.
Check that you've got a data connection.
A point in your route might be in a region where no transport info is available.
The route is too long. HERE Transit is designed for use with local city public transport, not national or international transport.
Can I save routes in HERE Transit?
You can pin a journey from your current location as a tile to your Windows Phone start screen.
Select the options icon at the bottom of the screen, and then the pin icon.
Nokia Maps & Drive for Symbian
How do I install Maps 3.09 in my phone?
Maps 3.09 is available for compatible devices as part of the Nokia Maps Suite 2.0 bundle. Installing Nokia Maps Suite 2.0 will install the following applications in your phone:
    Nokia Maps 3.09
    Drive
    Places widget
    Public Transport v2
    Weather (not available in China)
    Guides
Check in (only available in China)
    Map Loader
You can install Nokia Maps Suite on your phone through one of the channels below:
SW Update menu on your phone
Nokia Suite (select Software updates > Applications available)
Nokia Store (search for Nokia Maps Suite 2.0)
When installing via SW Update menu or from Nokia Store, it is recommended to use a Wi-Fi connection or a cellular connection with data plan because a large amount of data will be transferred during the installation. Note that the installation may take a while to complete.
After the installation you can launch the applications from the phone menu. You can add the application widgets also on the home screen (Map Apps, Places nearby).
Can Nokia Maps be used in offline mode to avoid data costs?
Maps can be used offline to avoid data charges, however the following will not be available in Offline Mode:
    View Satellite maps
    View Terrain maps
    Search the latest address/POI database
    Real-time Traffic and Safety updates
Share your status, photos and location to your Facebook profile (Maps 3.03 and later)
    Get Weather forecasts
See local event info from WCities (Maps 3.03 and later)
Access Lonely Planet city guides (Maps 3.03 and later)
Access the Michelin restaurant guide (Maps 3.03 and later)
Synchronize your locations with Nokia Maps on the internet
You can switch between Online and Offline mode by going to the Maps Settings and
    Select Internet or General
Select Connection or Go Online at Start-up
Please Note: Switching between Online and Offline mode in Maps will not prevent data charges through the user of Positioning settings such as AGPS and WiFi/Network positioning. These will need to be turned off in the Positioning Settings on your phone. Please see your phone manual for more information.
How do I know if there is an update available for the map data in Nokia Maps 3.x?
You can check if your device has the latest compatible Map data simply by connecting your device to a PC running Nokia Suite and selecting View > Go To > Maps.
If you are using Mac, download Map Loader for Mac and then check if there's an available update for Map data (applies only for Maps 3.04 and older, version 3.06 and later not supporting Map Loader for Mac).
With Maps 3.06 and later you can check the availability of map data updates and do the update over Wi-Fi (WLAN) connection by selecting:
Maps 3.06: Update > Check for updates.
Maps 3.08 and later: Map Loader > Check for updates.
How can I start Drive navigation in Maps 3.08 (and later)?
There is an icon for the Drive application available on your phone's home screen.
You can also start drive navigation from Maps:
    1. Search for the destination.
    2. Select the place on the map and its information area at the top of the screen.
    3. Select Navigate, and Drive here.

Sorry, I'd like to unresolve this. The workaround mentioned is not a solution.
I travel to loads of places by motorcycle, and going off the beaten track is wonderful. Since I upgraded My E6-00 and C7-00 to a Lumia 920, I'm back to allowing the SatNav (phone) to decide where I go. Boring dual carriageways and bypasses are now my natural habitat - bah humbug. Afterall, the phone is in my pocket (safe from weather), headphones in my helmet - I can't constantly look at a map. Having multiple 'favourites' and planning from one to the next isn't workable. Fair enough the Lumia 920 is usable with gloves on (major plus for a biker, come on you marketing people!) but I don't fancy re-routing all the time by the side of a road.
I'm also planning a charity cycle ride over 100s of miles this Summer, and while that can be done in BikeRouteToaster, Google Maps etc, there is no import function into 'HERE' that I can see. It's impossible to plan a route on the device itself. Yes it can route walker (I can't seem to get turn by turn working for that, but nevermind), public transport and car, I have an option to avoid motorways etc, but cycle route planning needs consideration for height metres, unpaved/paved roads (Google StreetView etc used a lot to find a Sustrans route is actually unfit for road bikes) etc. So.. Importing a route planned elsewhere (gpx, kml or something) would be a real alternative, or a workaround. Asking the device to do its own planning from one point to another really isn't workable.
Please make the Nokia's USP an actual USP again?

  • BGP Route Policy for transit AS

    Hello,
Can anyone could tell me how route policy in (RPL) should look like - some best practice .
Simple situation. I have two ISP's, one Client ( I am transit AS for Client).
    ISP1  AS 100  ------
----------    MY AS 300  ( I am BGP transit for  client)       ------------  My BGP CLIENT AS 400
    ISP2  AS 200 ------
    What I configured already are 4 route-policy ( two for isp's  in/out  and two for client in/out)
    route-policy client-in
    route-policy client-out
    route-policy  isp-in
    route-policy  isp-out
    as-path-set aspath_Other
      ios-regex '.*'
    end-set
    as-path-set aspath_Local_plus_Client
      ios-regex '^$',
      ios-regex '^400'
    end-set
    as-path-set aspath_Client
        ios-regex '^400'
    end-set
    route-policy isp-in
        pass
    end-policy
    route-policy isp-out
      if (as-path in aspath_Local_plus_Client) then
        pass
      elseif (as-path in aspath_Other) then
        drop
      endif
    end-policy
    route-policy client-out
      pass
    end-policy
    route-policy client-in
      if (as-path in aspath_Client) then
        pass
      elseif (as-path in aspath_Other) then
        drop
      endif
    end-policy
    I am not sure about route-policy client-in  ( should I use aspath like above or e.g prefix-list  .. )?
    regards,

    Hi,
you may find this reference useful that talks about inline vs named lists when it comes to RPL.
named lists are easier to edit and preferred when the lists are long, but inline sets are faster to process.
When stating faster, you should think in usec improvements.
One improvement I see is that you can change this:
    route-policy client-in
      if (as-path in aspath_Client) then
        pass
      elseif (as-path in aspath_Other) then
        drop
      endif
    end-policy
    to this:
    route-policy client-in
      if (as-path in aspath_Client) then
        pass
      else
        drop
      endif
    end-policy
Considering the aspath other is a catch all it is a waste of cycles to invoke regex to make sure that it is matches any.
On the topic of using prefix sets vs AS paths there are probably different opinions about it.
If your client originates prefixes that are not theirs your policy still accepts them and will result in rogue routing and hijacking of prefixes.
So with that I would recomment using a prefix set to accept prefixes from my client, just to make sure that we accept legimate prefixes. You dont want to be the guy that sourced rogue prefixes because of a client misconfiguration.
