In view rearrange by name does nothing now. Increasing size of Icons, increases in other folders.

I used to use icons of pictures with a black background to get the feel of the older times contact sheets. It non-longer works, not the rearranging by name and not black colored background behind the pictures.

I updated to 3.6, lost bookmarks, have only a default profile so I restored. The bookmarks are now there but I can't get the dropdown list for many folders so I can't access these. Clicking on the arrow to the right of the folder name does nothing.

When I Click on some of the bookmark folders I do get a dropdown list of sites but not always all of the sites that were bookmarked. If I copy a nonresponding folder, the new copy can be accessed but apparently does not contain all of the sites. If I rightclick on a nonresponding folder and use 'open all tabs' Firefox will tell me the number of sites in the folder and ask if I really want to open so many.

Sounds like a corrupted places.sqlite file.

Can't get Sync to work. Does nothing, no messages, no display icon at the bottom. Also, no bookmarks showing up on my android device.

I installed sync on my desktop, and also on my android phone. I chose the sync now option on the desktop and after a day nothing has happened. No message letting me know what's going on or not, no icon at the bottom bar, nothing on my android firefox either. I've tried to restart and check for updates to no avail, what should I do next? None of the answers work for me.

I upgraded from 3.6.13 to Beta 4.0 and now Firefox will not open at all I tried to uninstall to start again but it will not uninstall either it does nothing.

The fact it will not uninstall appears to be something completely new as nobody I know who uses Firefox has ever encountered this in the past.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process.

From System Preferences, Mouse, Point & Click, Secondary click. Go to it hover over Secondary click and watch the short video sequence change it left right, left right, you will see exactly what is does. No I do not think your Mouse is defective, you simply need to take control of your Mouse finger.

I found a couple of resources to help troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing. The first is this article named Intel-based Mac notebooks: Troubleshooting unresponsive trackpad issues found here http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1248.
Try disconnecting the MagSafe connector from the computer and check the trackpad function. If the trackpad becomes responsive again, improper grounding may be the issue.
If a two-prong AC plug is being used with the power adapter, try using the three-prong power cable that shipped with your computer and plug it into a grounded outlet.
If the issue persists, make sure the third prong is present and do not use an adapter to enable the three-prong adapter to be used in a two-prong outlet. Note that the ground in the three-prong outlet may not be connected. This is common in older homes or buildings with replaced outlets. In these situations, the three-prong power cable will not improve trackpad responsiveness.
If a grounded outlet is not available, rest your palm on the palm rest when using the trackpad. This should enable the trackpad to function properly.
If that does not resolve the issue then I recommend resetting the SMC on your computer. Here is an article on how to do that:

If Windows :
Quit Creative Cloud desktop application .
Launch Photoshop cc 2014 application from C: > Program Files > Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 .
Once launched , click on Help menu in Photoshop cc 2014 and select Updates option .
It should update.
If Mac:
Quit Creative Cloud desktop application .
Launch Photoshop cc 2014 application from Applications folder:
Once launched , click on Help menu in Photoshop cc 2014 and select Updates option .

Error 49 occurs while updating the application , when Creative Cloud app does not have reference / Access to installed CC app, so that it can apply updates for the same .
You can try to update from CC app like Photoshop itself and check.

Problem with IPad , did an update as requested now it does nothing, but display a graphic that shows I should connect to ITunes . So I connect it to my IMac run ITunes nothing happens. Try restore pop up says not eligible for restore.

Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.

In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.
