In web inspector, CSS right tab doesn't show line numbers anymore ?

I can't see the number lines of the CSS stylesheet anymore using the line inspector.
Anyone knows how to put in back ?

Apple has made it so you can only use Safari Web Inspector.
File feedback as to how it has limited you.
The information you are looking for (if I remember correctly). is hidden. you need to hover your cursor over where the information usually is and there should be an icon of a circle with an arrow in it... if you hover over that, it'll show you the content you are looking for.
Having said that Apple is always making changes so if you were to file feedback on why this does not work for you, Apple may change it to work better for debugging websites.

I already filed feedback about this. I state that when I inspect and element I want to be able to see the CSS file and line row it starts at without having to hover my cursor over an icon to reveal it.

Safari 6.0 Web Inspector CSS line number

Please add the line number of the class or id on the css web inspector.
The old version has the line number in front of the class
The new one doesnt, to see it you need too put the cursor on the little arrow and shows the path on a tooltip. Please change this like the other version.

Saving tabs doesn't seem to work anymore for me in 4.0.1

Since I've installed FireFox 4.0.1 the saving of tabs doesn't seem to work anymore. When I press exit I only receive the notification "are you sure you want to close x tabs?". When firefox or my computer crashes the tabs are saved, but when I try to exit myself I can't. Can someone tell me how to solve this?

Hi, I have a similar problem. When playing music, the screensaver has stopped working. Instead all I get is a white screen. I have checked all the settings and they are ok. The photos show and the albums show will work. But as soon as I switch back to slideshow I get the white screen back. It is even like this in 'Preview'.
Have you solved the problem now. If so, how?
Anyone else affected? I took a new software update to the Apple TV two days ago. Could this be the problem?

Right tab doesn't align properly when using leading decimals (for TOC)

I have a problem. I'm using the latest version of Pages. When I create a table of contents and use the right tab with leading decimals, they don't align straight on the right side. No matter what I do, they are always off a bit.
I also have MS Word, and I can do the contents with right tab just fine with no problems.
Any ideas?

Ok just found a workaround/solution.
(always happens right after I ask, for some reason).
Rescaled my project but kept the size and positions the "same and centered".
Then I replaced all my background images with bigger versions (previously I had cropped them at the right and bottom).
Now my backgrounds were all great, but all my objects were too low.
All I had to do was ctrl+A to select everything on a slide, and then change the Y value for the whole bunch to zero.
This magically placed all objects in their correct respective spots.

"Dependecies" tab doesn't show any information for a selected table version 4.0

I work with SQL Developer 4.0.0.13. I can see 20 tables in the list. When I select one table, in the tabs on the right side I can see information for "columns" and "data" and "constraints" and "indexes"... but the tab "Dependencies" doesn't show any information about references between this table and other tables in the schema.
Oracle database is v11.2
Can you please tell me what do I need to do in order to see information on "Dependencies" tab for a table?

In SQLDeveloper select Preferences -> Database -> User Defined Extensions and click <Add Row>.
In the "Type" field enter "EDITOR" and in the "Location" field enter the path to the file with XML.
After restarting SQLDeveloper You should see a new tab "*Referencing Tables" for tables.

Legacy Tab Doesn't Show

I just currently bought my macbook pro. When I opened Garageband for the first time, it had me download version 10. I am currently trying to sample music but the legacy tab doesn't come up for me in software instruments to use sound effects to place the samples in the keyboard. Is there anything I can do. I don't know why this tab isn't showng for me.

Do you have any legacy instruments installed? If you never had GarageBand '11, JamPacks, MainStage, or Logic installed, you will have no "Legacy" instruments inherited from earlier installations.
If you have access to an GarageBand '11 installation or installer (e.g. iLife '11 installer DVD), install GarageBand '11 to get the Sound Effect Instruments.

TS1369 Itunes recognizes ipod but 'on this ipod' tab doesn't show up.

So iTunes recognizes my iPod but the 'on this iPod' tab isn't showing up. I've restarted the computer, iPod (ipod is also updated), and iTunes but nothing seems to help. This is on a Mac book pro; iTunes version is 11.0.2 (most recent). Any ideas anyone?

You have to enter the album information manually in iTunes to get it to show up in your iPod. The only way album info shows up automatically is if you purchase the album from the iTunes store.
Click on the song in iTunes so it's highlighted in blue and hold down the Command - i keys on your Mac keyboard. This will bring up a dialogue box with tabs for Summary, Info, Video, Sorting, Options, Lyrics, and Artwork. Click on the Info tab and you'll see a group of input fields for song title, artist name, album name, etc. After you fill in the info click OK. (You can only enter info for one song at a time).The updated info should now show up in iTunes. Good luck!

Finder doesn't show recent pictures anymore

My finder does not show pictures anymore that are imported in iTunes in the last months. What to do? This problem started some weeks ago.

Does iPhoto show them? If so, right click on a photo and select 'Show File'. This will open a finder window with the file highlighted.
If you want to access a file Drag and drop it to the Desktop, this will create a copy of the file there. Or you can use File -> Export, which will also create a copy.
Remember, iPhoto is a database, and like all databases is designed so that you access the data - in this case your pictures - via the application, not through the Finder.
It is strongly advised that you do not move, change or in anyway alter things in the iPhoto Library Folder as this can cause the application to fail and even lead to data loss
A Note about the iPhoto Library Folder in v6:
In this folder there are various files, which are the Library itself and some ancillary files. Then you have three folders
Originals are the photos as they were downloaded from your camera or scanner.
(ii) Modified contains edited pics, shots that you have cropped, rotated or changed in any way.
This allows the Photos -> Revert to Original command - very useful if you don't like the changes you've made.
(iii) Data holds the thumbnails the the app needs to show you the photos in the iPhoto Window.
Inside each of these folders there will be rolls arranged based on date.
If iPhoto doesn't show them, then they have not been successfully imported.

Ical doesn't show line breaks in events anymore?

Just if you haven't yet realized there at apple; iCal in 10.7 doesn't show linebreaks in event text box anymore.
No matter how many breaks you punch in, it shows up in edit mode but once you're done and the evnt is shown in cal, it wraps the text to gether and handles the breaks as spaces.
This is super annoying since I always write my to do list on the days and now it's just a big mess. Also the leather shin has to be one of the ugliest things apple has done in a good while. Just because of this feature I'd like to cancel the update and take my money back.
I rue the day i updated to this alfa level os x.

The size of the displayed iCal window dictates the size of the displayed text. Altering the Display Resolution is the only other choice to influence the size of the displayed text.

My external drive mounts but doesn't show in Finder anymore?

I was accessing my iMac external backup drive over the network from my laptop and it suddenly greyed out. Going to my iMac I discoverd that the drive was mounted according to Disk Utility and my backup utility could find it but it doesn't show on my desktop or the sidebar of the Finder window. I can access it thru the Go to Folder menu item. I can then drag items to it but can't save items to it directly since it doesn't show up in Finder. I have checked Finder preferences, restarted the iMac, dismounted (in Disk Utility) and remounted it. I've also eliminated it in Sharing system preferences. No luck on all counts. I connected it to the laptop and it behaves the same way. Doing a Google search turned up the possiblity that it has become "invisible" but I'm confused as to how to change this attribute. I'm hoping there is a simple Terminal command I can use.

Yes I did Eric. Then just found the answer. Volume became hidden and I used a Terminal command.

CSS -- background color doesn't show with scroll bar

I have a nav bar with a background-color that shows up fine if the image opens to the right size. If, however, the window opens small and I have to use the scroll bar to move things over, the color for the nav bar isn't there.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Opening a new page via "open in new tab" doesn't load new page anymore

I have been using firefox for a long time now because I love it's option of opening in a new tab while staying on the tab I am currently using.
Recently, over the last week or so, when I open a link using a new tab, the page doesn't load in the new tab. It's just thinks and thinks and finally shows that the page is open, but the page is actually blank.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

New Tab doesn't show all tiles in Firefox 33

So I just updated to Firefox 33 and the first thing I notice is the newtab page is changed. I get a 4 x 2 grid instead of the regular 3 x 3 grid. I tried changing things through about:config and it says I should have a 5 x 3 grid. I can only decrease the number of columns and rows to see any change on the tab. If I shrink the tab using ctrl - it'll show things correctly but that doesn't save. What can I do to get newtab back to the way it was before updating or show things correctly?

Overall, I am seeing real strange "stuff" with the number of rows set in about:config and the number of columns set also, in multiple separate Profile in Firefox 33. I haven't been able to see any "order" in the chaos, as far as trying to pin down the fault.
'''browser.newtabpage.columns''' has a default setting of '''5''' which was set at '''3''' in prior versions, with '''browser.newtabpage.rows''' at '''3''', which was the previous value, too. Whatever I set those two prefs at, the maximum I see is 3 columns and 2 rows. Looks like a Bug to me.
Meanwhile, another Profile that I use - [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-tools/ New Tab Tools] - in, is humming along unaffected in Firefox 33.

Menu & Buttons Tab doesn't show up

I have IDVD 6.03 and when I click on the Menu and Button tab all I see is a blank space. The Themes and Media tabs work... has this happened to anyone else?

How much available HD space is showing on your main HD / Startup Volume? I recommend at least 20 GB's if you want to make a magic iDVD in iDVD6.
And please clarify what you mean exactly with the following statement:
I can't use IMagic DvD and don't the menu tab and buttons tab.
Are you saying these options aren't availble to you? Are they grayed out? Or do they simply not work?
Also, I want you to think about which option you really want within iDVD6 as they are presented here:

What is it you wish to accomplish exactly?
Is it a Magic iDVD you want to make? ... which assumes you will also have a fully powered /operative minidv camcorder with firewire connected to your mac system and that the camera is powered up prior to actually launching the app. Is this what you did?

Note tab doesn't show up on ITunes

When i click on my ipod, there are tabs- summaries, music, movies, TV shows, Podcasts, Itunes U, Photos, and contacts. So, when I click on my contacts.... i don't have a notes folder. I scroll down, and all I see is contacts and calendar. Help! I know you put it in disk mode, etc, but I can't seem to find the notes folder!

You don't use iTunes to sync your notes. Instead, you navigate to "My Computer" and then locate your iPod's drive. Double click on it to open it up and then locate the Notes folder. Here is where you can drag your text file.
