i have already running MRP. than i was check in horisontal plan for item MAT-024-NC09 like this.
my question is :
1. why in this condition not appear exception : "Items with a shortage"?
2. in what condition exception "Items with a shortage" will appear?
3. are there any setup i need to do?

this is the setting i have done :
And i have already assign this planning exception set into item in master item (invetory).
after I was done running "MRP", it appears a few exceptions, one of which is Item with excess inventory.

We are getting the following exception due to mis handling by business,
"Items with negative starting on hand" - items with a negative onhand beginning balance
We cant build the stock to fix the issue because the items are very very costly.Business wanted to build stock only after making the items quantity to zero,so that we will not miss any items.
Can any one suggest the fix here??is back update is the only option??how that would impact accounting??

You should have the business do a cycle count and fix the onhand quantities for those items.
Till then, you will keep getting the exception.
The other option is to do account alias receipt to fix the quantity. Check with your finance folks to find out which account alias should be used.

Why open items with dunning level 0 sometimes appear?

Hi All,
when I run the dun transaction (F150) sometimes in table MHND and MHNK open items with dunning level 0 appear. These are open items overdue, but not enough to level 1. Note that this problem appear only sometimes.
Do you know how to avoid this?

Check if deselcting the indicator for Always Dun? in dunning level configuration in FBMP ,solves your issue.

Here's the situation:
Upgrading a SharePoint Server 2010 Search Service Application dB to our SharePoint 2013 SP 1 development environment, using the Management Shell
Running the following commands:
$applicationPool= Get-SPServiceApplicationPool -Identity 'SearchService_AppPool'

Creates the search dBs (crawl, links, analytics) successfully; however, in the end, I get....

Is it possible to query an Item with two or more conditions in OOB Update List Item WF Step

In SharePoint Designer 2010, in Workflows, is it possible to give more then one condition when querying items? Let me explain, it is fairly easy to drop Update item in this list step, and say, for example, Update item with ID X. However, if is it possible
to do something along this lines with OOB steps, Update an item in this list where Title is Equal to "abc" and Modify date no older then 3 days.
Update: Workflow is started when the item is added to the list. What I would like is to update some fields on this item depending on information in this item and in external list. For example
Current Item Field 1 has value "abc"
Current Item Field 2 has value "123"
Current Item Field 3 has value "456"
External List has Item with value in Field 1 "123"
External List has Item with value in Field 2 "abc"
External List has Item with value in Field 3 "xyz"
Update Current Item Field 3 with value "xyz"
In short I would need following query - Update Current_Item_Field_3 with value from External_List_Field_3 where Field 1 is equal to Current_Item_Field_2 and Field 2 is equal to Current_Item_Field_1

I assume your External List is called “ListB”, and Current List is called “ListA”, You can follow the steps below:
1. Add “If current item field equals value" for condition that ListB Field2 equals to ListA Field1, then set the second condition “ListB Field1 equal to ListA Field2” as the “Find the List Item” in the “Lookup for Single line of text”
as the screenshot below:
2. Add “Update List Item” as the screenshot below for updating Current_Item_Field_3 with value from External_List_Field_3. In addition, you should set “Find the List Item” in “Lookup for Single line of text” same to the “Find the List Item” in step 1:

How to split a condition value across line items with varying percentages?

Hello, can anyone suggest how this can be resolved. This is the scenario.
My client wants to be able to determine pricing for a sales document with a wide range of conditions. One particular condition contributes to the total price of each sales item by determining a percentage of the total amount. The percentage used isn't a fixed percentage but it is determined as follows: Lets say I have 3 sales items in the document with prices 200, 300 and 500 respectively. The total amount for the condition (which is known) then has to be shared amongst these 3 items according to the price of each item. How can this be achieved? Any ideas?

You will have to define a Header Condition which will apply to all the Items.
Then, You will have to develop a Z- Requirement in T-Code - VOFM with help your ABAPer.
Then assign this Routine in Alternative formula for condition base value column in your Pricing Procedure.
The ABAP code in the Requirement will read the Basic Price of all the Items & then proportionately divide the value of said Condition line-item wise.

Problem with building conditional display items

Dear All,
Please help as I am using APEX for the first time.
This my requirement during form dispaly in tabular format. There is one display item QA_TIER(not a database item). This item value is computed based on the condition below.
I created a display item with :
Source Used : Always, replacing any existing value in the session state

Showing Items with no transactions

I am trying to build a report that will show us items with potentially incorrect item status. Item status (on table itmmas) is either A(ctive) or I(nactive). The report should show all Inactive items which have had at least one transaction in the past 4 weeks AND active items which have had no transactions in that period.
My plan is to join the item master table to the item ledger table (itmldg) which lists all inventory transactions. I can show the inactive items with transactions without a problem.
What I can't figure out is how to show items with Active Status that don't have any transactions. I can't get CR to return a data set which includes ALL records from itmmas but only those from itmldg in the last 4 weeks. I tried this SQL query:
SELECT itmmas.itmiid, itmmas.itmdes, itmmas.itmsts, itmldg.ilgdno, itmldg.ilgdat
FROM {oj itmmas LEFT OUTER JOIN itmldg ON itmmas.itmiid = itmldg.ilgiid}

When I run this query in MS Query and return the results to Excel, I get single lines for items with no transactions. For these items, the fields from itmldg are NULL. When I run this query in CR, I don't get any data for items with no transactions.
Can anyone think of a way to get this to work?

The issue that you have is that the WHERE clause in your SQL statement is only looking at an itmldg table field for a value. This is effectively making your Left Outer Join an Inner Join, because when an itmmas record does not have an itmldg record, the date field will be NULL. You have to add the condition "OR itmldg.ilgdat is null".
If you want to return ONLY the records that the report is interested in (which should have beter performance), change the SQL to
SELECT itmmas.itmiid, itmmas.itmdes, itmmas.itmsts, itmldg.ilgdno, itmldg.ilgdat
FROM {oj itmmas LEFT OUTER JOIN itmldg ON itmmas.itmiid = itmldg.ilgiid}

For troubleshooting your issue, please take steps as below:
1. Try to crawl your content source using farm admin account.
2.
Disable loopback check .
3.Add reference  SPS3s://WEB into your content source start addresses.

Price condition - all items

Hi gurus,
I have a little problem from a client.
For example :
i have 3 items
item A     gross weight 2kgrs
item B     gross weight 1,5kgrs
item C     gross weight 3kgrs
there is SD order with above items as follows:
item A 2 pcs (gross weight : 4kgrs)
item B 2 pcs (gross weight : 3kgrs)
item C 4 pcs (gross weight : 12kgrs)
Total gross weight (all items) : 19 kgrs
Always the user appends one more item (let say D)
(that is a specific one).
     Item D 1(always) pc.
For this item the pricing comes from a pricelist like :
       Item D   10Euros per Kgr
The problem is that the client wishes to calculate
total gross weight by price(from pricelistlist) and considers
the outcome as the price per 1pc for item D. That is
         19 kgrs * 10 Euros --> 190Euros (outcome)
I think, i have to create a condition type for item D. Is that correct?? What kind of cond.type??(group??)
Also, is it possible a condition type to be included only for a specific item in a SD order and simultaneously to be excluded for other line items??

As you want to go for another condition type , then you copy the standard PR00 condition type to ZR00 condition type and then make changes in the ZR00 condition type.
Assign the new access sequence in ZR00 condition type which has the key combination of customer / material .
So as the key combination is different ensure that you are maintaining condition record for ZR00 for the material D and not for PR00.Now when you create the sales order for A,B,C materials you will get PR00 condition type but for D you will get ZR00 condition type.

Condition / Exception

Have you ever used a condition / Exception based on the selection screen of a query? This is what i'm trying to do.
In my query, I have:
Service Order (CHAR1)
(Actual Time) KF1
Planned time KF2
Deviation (KF1 -KF2)
My requirement is to highlight service orders where the actual time is greater than a given percentage parameter of the planned time. This parameter should be entered manually on the selection screen. So if the user imputs 10 in the selection screen, the condition would bring back the values where KF1 is 10% more than KF2.
I havent done this before and unfortunately I dont have any suitable query to play with at work.
First of all, if I go to the condition box (its 3.5 we use) and try to create a new condition with a variable thats ready for input based on the Actual Time. What else do I need to do to be able to get the percentage and also to make it apprear on the selection screen?

Use a CKF to calculatethe percentage. Again use a condition on that CKF to filter the values.
Again, you can try in the columns itself. Hide the KF1 and KF2. in a new formula you can calculate the diff percentage. And use a forumula variable with user entry to enter percentage and populate it in one column. The hide thath too and in a new column write a formula which shows values for KF if greater than KF2 based on the percentage entered by the user.

Conditionally select items in a feature (for a SP2010 and 2013 compatible solution)

in the Task of migrating our Solutions to SharePoint 2013, i´m just curious if i can conditionally put items in a Feature.
What i already did in the solution: Defined configurations for debug/release for SP2010/SP2013 and modified the Project files in the solution directly (different target Frameworks and different references to SharePoint dll´s).
My first solution i started with only contains some helper code to set taxomony Connections for fields and the rest is just column and Content type definitions. It compiles well with VS 2012 on SP2010 and SP2013 and the created WSP´s could be installed on
the System. However i can´t activate the Feature on SP 2013, because one of the column names in our solution already exists in SP 2013. So I decided to add a new elements.xml with a redefined column name.
So I have LzColumns\Elements.xml and LzColumns2013\Elements.xml.
Depending on the configuration, I want to include only one of the element.xml´s in the feature. I tried to edit the project file and added a Configuration attribute to some of the Items there but with no success.
Which possibilities do I have? Separate Features (with equal ID) ? Split into two projects (but this copies code).

I would do a bit different way. Instead of using CAML (or xml) based columns definition, I would do it programmatically. I would create a 'class library' project (you can call it MyCompany.SPLibrary, for exmaple) where I would reference SharePoint 2010 DLLs
and add class/methods to create columns, content type etc programmatically.
Then I would create two solutions one for SharePoint 2010 WSP and another for SharePoint 2013 WSP and refer the library project MyCompany.SPLibrary to both projects. FYI, due to 'assembly redirection' SharePoint 2010-based MyCompany.SPLibray will still work
in SharePoint 2013.
Till now all will be ok for SharePoint 2010 development.
Now for 2013 developers (so SharePoint 2013 dev environment), SharePoint 2010 based library project will not compile as 'sharepoint 2010 dlls' doesn't exist. To fix this issue, in the SharePoint 2010 project, instead of referring the SharePoint DLLs from
GAC, copy the DLLs first into local directory and then refer the DLLs from local directory. So when the same 2010-based library project will be opened from SharePoint 2013 development environment, SharePoint-2010 dlls will be available in local folder
and the project will compile ok.
We used similar approach for one of the SharePoint product we developed which needed to support multiple version of SharePoint Version. The reality is you can't make it 100% automatic, you still need to duplicate some code/xmls.

Clear all dock items - with Terminal command

I need an command for clearing all dock items. I have good command line skill but couldnt find a way to just clear it all. Somebody have?

@ mende1 - I did hold cmd-R to reach the recovery partition. How do I now leave safe mode (if it is stuck in that) and boot normally?
@ Thomas - DU seems to be successful in repairing the disk. It doesn't report any errors - just says what it is "checking", "updating" and "adjusting" (not a very long list at all) - but it concludes with partition map appears to be OK.
My other Mac has all my files so I don't mind reinstalling on this one, except for the fact that I would have to reinstall all the applications and I don't have them with me where I am at the moment.
If I choose to reinstall when booted with cmd-r will it re-download or install from a local copy? Re-downloading will take forever because I only have mobile (3G) broadband here.
Do I have any other options?
