You can check the value of the system variable SY-BATCH. If it contains the value 'X' it is running in background else in foreground.

When restoring from the backup, whatever is included with the backup from two days ago should be restored which includes photos/videos in the Camera Roll at the time of the backup along with all other data included with the backup at the time of the backup two days ago.

You can drag and drop a file from TM to the desktop.
Let's say your newsletter is on the desktop. First thing to do is to add something to the file name, say Newsletter_1.
Next open TM as if it is just another external drive by double clicking the icon. (This is not the same as "Enter Time Machine" which you do when you want to restore.) The file hierachy in TM follows the same logic as on your hard drive. Navigate to the date you want, find the file you want, and drag and drop it where you want it to be. Because you changed the name of the most recent version you can both files in the same space.
I do this often.
But remember if you make a back up now you will end up with both versions in TM.

Check under general app-general-about then look under carrier and see what network it has set on it because some networks I know unlock their phones but to my knowledge iPhones the majority bought through carriers are usually locked.

I assume that you mean that the screen doesn't rotate. Settings>General>Use Side Switch to...see how that is set. You can choose lock screen or mute sounds.
If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it,swipe up from the bottom of the screen to get to the control center. There will be a lock icon in the row of icons at the top. Tap that icon to unlock the screen.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the button

I have a form that can run in query-only mode or non-query-only mode depending on the current user who logs in, and I want to change its apprearance dynamically when it's in different modes (for example, enable or disable buttons). Is there a built-in or system variable from which I know that the form is running in query-only mode or not?

The global variable solution is what we are using now. I thought there are some unpublished built-in or system variables. In my application, there is a public "menu" form from where hundreds of forms are CALLed with some in query-only mode and some in non-query-only mode depending on the current user role. :PARAMETER.QUERY_ONLY will always be 'NO' because the "menu" form is started in non-query-only mode. But it's good to know about it.

If you wnat to see the applications that are running, open the Activity Monitor application (it's in /Applications/Utilities). After opening it, select "All Processes" above "Show" in the toolbar, and you will see all the processes that are running.
I/O errors often happen on a damaged hard drive. If you are receiving that error, you should make a backup with Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner as soon as possible and take your Mac to an Apple Store or reseller to get another hard disk.
If the warranty is void, you can try installing it yourself, but note that there are some iMacs which are very difficult to have the hard drive replaced. Search the steps in iFixit > http://www.ifixit.com

Check the value of system variable sy-batch. if value of it is 'X' that means program is running in background and if value is ' '(blank) that means prog. is executing in foreground mode.

Check this path : Financial Accounting (New) -- General Ledger Accounting New -- Business Transactions -- Document Splitting -- Activate Document Splitting
Hear you need to check whether Document Splitting is activated or not ... if it is activated select "Deactivate per compnay code" check if your company code is activated or not.
This is a special feature in New GL ... this feature can be activated only in New GL system (From ECC 5 onwords)
