Let's see whether this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?
If that works, make sure you do this below to prevent same problem after restarting windows:
Go to. START button, type in
MSCONFIG
Hit ENTER
Click STARTUP Tab, Uncheck "Apple Push", click OK.
Restart Windows.

They do not work on your computer.
You need to sync them to your iphone/ipod touch/ipad and use them from there.

ITunes stops during playback and won't start until I restart the computer

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I just reformated my computer and placed all the updates and programs back onto my computer. I had iTunes on my computer before and I reinstalled it then upgraded it to version 7.3.2.6. Now I've been reintroducing music back into the library on a folder by folder method (drag and drop). Anyway, during review of the songs I will get a random issue where the iTunes just stops during playback. I have shut down the program and restarted it. I've also shut down the following programs at different times to see if it would help:
iPodService, ITunes.exe (the program), iTunesHelper, and even taskmgr.exe. Nothing seems to help. When I restart the program I click on play (any song or playlist) and nothing happens. The only thing that I have found to help is rebooting my computer. Does anyone have any ideas?
I've check the event logs and nothing is showing in there and other programs are working without an issues.
Please help!

It's normal for the Mac to set the Windows partition as the default startup disk when installing Windows since it will restart a couple of times during the install.
One way to get back to OS X is to restart and hold down the Option key. You'll get a display of the various drives you can boot to. Double click on the OS X drive.
An Option key boot is a temporary choice, and your Mac will continue to boot to Windows by default. To change that, once you're back in OS X, open the System Preferences and click on the Startup Disk icon. Click on the OS X drive to make it the default choice.

Try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
In the windows on the left side: Select login for Keychains and "All Items" for Category.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

Open new tab from any webpage, click any link on new tab, waits till the page is loaded and try to go back one page on new tab (arrow is disabled).

It happens whenever I open new tab from any wabpage. Once the tab is opened and initial webpage is loaded I may use any link to jump on another, second webpage in same tab. However, if I want to go back on initial webpage I can't do it cause that option (arrow) is disabled. I could use link on second webpage to jump on third, and only at that moment go back option becomes available again. However, I could not ever go back on initial webpage any more. As initial webpage has never existed.
It happens quite often (95%).

Right click the Back button and select the page you want to go back to from the list.
If the list is too long to display via the Back button, hit CTRL+H, change the view to "Last Visited" and then load it from there instead.

I am using the latest Ipod Touch but since having to get my laptop reformated my ipod is no longer bakcing up automatically. I downloaded itunes again and plugged in my ipod but have since noticed there is no automatic backup. I check the edit settings.

I've updated to Maverick and now my iPhoto app won't work until updated. The problem I'm experiencing is that my Apps store won't grant me access to update the app. help.

I know drive is working because I can put in a purchased cd and can import it into my library, but now it just sits there and hums until I maually eject the disc.Before all this started it said something about that I should "calibrate disc", since then it won't let me do any burning. I am trying to download the latest version of iTunes to my PC (windows XP) and I keep getting an error message or two. One is that it can't uninstall the previous itunes version, the other is that it can't find itunes.msi.

Thanks the address you gave me gave me what I needed but still had alot of trouble with the game. Come to find out it was my browser IE8 that was causing all the problem. So I changed to google chrome and loaded the regular version of Flash player and have been able to get on the game. Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
