In Yosemite Mail, the control click option no longer works when clicking on attachments, that previously allowed you to save, quicklook, and select app to open with etc. Any solutions?

It shows just 4 always as an option in the "open with" lsit. Also I haven't downloaded any apps for a while so why would it start now?
Do you know how I can estabilsh how many apps are counting toward this 10 and what they are?

Thanks everyone! Felt a complete twit. Went to view, customize toolbars and then dragged the arrows back into the toolbar. No idea how we lost 'em though.

Firefox will not open unless i reboot and the "send Link" option no longer works

after firefox is opened it works fine for awhile and then when i close the browser the desktop icon is unresponsive to o pen again unless i reboot. also, the "send Link" option, that always worked before, now does not.

I had tried this before, but went ahead and tried this again.
I clicked on "reset Firefox". Firefox closed, but did not come back up. When I tried to open it again, I did receive a message that said Firefox is running but is not responding, that I couldn't open another window without stopping the processes on the other page.
I never got a window that showed me the information that was imported, or a place to click finish.
Since I don't believe this completed, I don't believe my problem will be solved.

The compare photo function no longer works when I hit enter....

When I select a photo that I want to set as the compare item by hitting enter, I just get a soft horn type sound and the select item does not set for compare. This used to work but no longer does. The menu option is even grayed out so I cannot perform this function. I have no idea why this just stopped working. If anyone has any thoughts it would be much appreciated.

sailor is right, you have to enter the compare mode first. this however is only available when the viewer is open. apple claims, this is "by design" (and new to 2.1.1), i personally find this a step back and painful.
if you use dual monitors and have the secondary screen set to alternate and only show the browser on your main monitor (just as an example), you can not enter the compare mode. in such setup you'd have to hit V first to enable the viewer, then enter compare mode, then switch back to browser (to get back to where you started). once compare mode is on, you can continue to compare on your secondary screen.

The dropdown list in the address bar does not work when clicked

In the address bar the dropdown list icon does not work when clicked. I have tried resetting everything in safemode and it still doesn't work. When I click on the icon it just highlights the entire address line.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Yahoo mail page sign-in button no longer works

I suddenly can't sign into my yahoo accounts on my iPad 1. It seems the sign-in button no longer works, when I tap it or use the "go" button, nothing happens - no error message, nothing. I've re-set the iPad and I still can't sign in. I can get to all of the other Yahoo web pages, just not my mail. I can sign into other websites no problem. Any suggestions? Is my iPad now completely obsolete?
I can sign in without a problem on my iMac.

Reset your iPad. This will do no harm and you will not lose any data. See if that works. If not, clear Safari and then try again.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data.

Cute. I redid my apple password last nite and made it real simple. It worked fine signing in to the forum just now. When I use it to sign in on Apple TV I keep getting message. ' server not available'. I had gotten it to sign in earlier but netflix wouldn't play the movie. Just the previews. So I reset everything and tried to start over and I can't log on at all. So if you have any helpful suggestions I would be interested in hearing them. Thank you

My GD-80 won't display the control-f option for entering the raid bios???

Hello, all!! I just learned today that MSI has their own forum so here goes: My 990fxa-gd80 v2 has just returned from RMA. It has the latest bios already installed 11.13 I believe. The issue is, I have two 320 gig wd drives that I want to put in a raid 0 array and can't get into the raid option rom to do it. I read the manual again and set the sata to raid, and the submenu to raid option rom instead of the uefi driver setting.I still can't get it to show me the "press control-f to enter raid setup" or whatever it says. If y'all have any hints or suggestions, I'd appreciate it! Thanks.

Well, it was indeed because of a weak PSU that it wasn't working. I've bought a new one, more powerful, and the GTX 750 ti is now working.

How do I get iTunes on the iPad to NEVER show album artwork when clicking a song?
I go in-and-out of the iPod app quite a lot (I use the iPad to help me while practicing music and I use multiple apps), so it's frustrating to have to constantly close the album artwork.
Apologies - I saw many threads about this but none that answered how to ALWAYS stop iTunes from jumping to artwork. If I missed the correct thread, I would appreciate a link.

That's what I thought - Apple generally has clean interfaces, so if I can't find an option to do something, it probably doesn't exist.

With the new safari update (7.0.3), the full screen option has stopped working...please help.

I updated Safari and now the full screen option will not work. It's one of my favorite features. I have tried going to View -> Enter Full Screen and that doesn't work.

Reset Safari.
Click Safari in the menu bar.
From the drop down select "Reset Safari".
Click "Reset".
Empty Caches
Safari > Preference > Advanced
Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
Turn off Extensions if any, and launch Safari.
Safari > Preferences > Extensions

I am in the same boat. I tried repeatedly to contact iTunes support, but was told each time that I had contacted the wrong deaprtment and they could not help me. There must be a way to still be able to use the iTunes store without paying for a system update. If not, I hope they will reimburse me the money I have in my acount.
