Inability to recieve messages

I have a Macbook Pro that is running 10.4.10
recently I have had several problems arise that I have been able to ignore, but the latest is quite annoying. This problem first arose yesterday (1 1/2 years after already having this computer)
With my iChat I can communicate fully with about half of my buddy list, but then there are a few of my friends that I am unable to chat with. I send them a message and unlike other problems I have read about, I can see what I typed, and so can the person on the other end, yet the problem arises when they send me a message. When I recieve a message it comes up as a blank bubble, as though they did not send any text, wwhen in fact they did.
I have tried changing the ports and I have tried going to the user library preferences and deleting that file, and neither worked. Do you have any suggestions?

Open and Unlock the Padlock with your Admin password.
Run the tasks individually Daily, Week, Monthly as Leopard does not seem to like running them together.
This Runs the Cron scripts which are background self cleaning/rotating log items that normally run in Unix between 0300 and 0600 in the morning if your Computer is ON and AWAKE
Tiger was better at running them if you let your computer sleep.
Leopard is supposed to run them at each start up.
However it will not hurt to run them now.

The file format used by the iOS versions of the iWork apps can only be read by the new iWork apps on your Mac - i.e. Keynote 6, Pages 5 & Numbers 3. Those versions for the Mac require Mavericks, OS X 10.9. The "too old" error on a Mac comes if you are trying to open an iWork '08 or earlier file in the newest apps. If you do have the newest apps you can open the files from your iPad.
If you can't or don't want to upgrade to Mavericks & the newest iWork apps your best option would be to export/share the files from the iPad to a type an older version of iWork can read such as Word, text, Excel, etc.
Or contact AppleCare. They made this mess, let them fix it.

Wrong Reciever message interface name in SXMB_MONI in PI7.1

Hi All,
Some of the interfaces that are getting executed in PI7.1 have wrong reciever message interface name in SXMB_MONI view.
In SOAP Envelope
1.Reciever message interface name is getting populated in <SAP:Sender> tag and
2. Sender message interface name is getting populated in <SAP:Receiver> tag.
But the end to end message flow is getting executed succesfully.
It is not particular to any one of the interfaces. It is occuring randomly.
Did any one encounter this problem earlier?Please share your inputs to resolve the same.

Hi,
The SAP note mentioned - contains details specific to SOAP Adapter.
The problem which we have mentioned is occurring across adapters.
Even in SICF transaction. All the details have been correctly maintained.
Any further steps to resolve the issue will be helpful.

BM MESSAGES CLOCKING AND NEVER SENDING BUT I CAN RECIEVE MESSAGES

for a while my bbm messages took absoloutely ages to send but they did eventually send. today i woke up to find my bbm (blackberry messenger) was not working my display picture, status, name wouldnt change and my messages wouldnt at all send. I can recieve messages but not reply. A red clock would appear at the side and messaged never sent so i removed my battery and restarted my phone but this didnt work. i also tried to fix the problem by removing my sim and re inserting it but this didnt work either. What can i try now and how do i fix the problem???

Settings > Messages > Receive At > Apple ID.
Select your Apple ID and at the menu window that appears, select Sign Out.
Follow this by signing back in with your Apple ID to see if this makes any difference.

Distributed Destination and Recieving Messages !

          I'm new to JMS.
          I'm configuring a Weblogic Cuslter of 3 nodes with a JMS Server deployed on each node (Can't target a JMS Server to a CLUSTER). We have 4 destinations (Queue) deployed on each JMS Server.
          I'm creating a Distributed Desination with members being the Queues from the three JMS Servers to take advantage of Load Balancing and High Availability nature of DD.
          No my question is, when a message is placed on the Queue (message received from MQ Server through Weblogic Bridge), which one of the three Queue is the message going to go? My guess is it's going to be sent to the Queue based on Round-Robin algorithm.
          Can you please explain me how sending/recieving messages with JMS are going to work in a Weblogic Cluster environment?. We will be using MDBs to receive messages. So, I'm assuming I'm going to need to use the JNDI for the DD in my descriptor. Also for sending, I'm assuming I should use the JNDI for the DD.

If you'll send JMS message to your queue from your server app deployed to
          your cluster then the balancing algorithm will use server-afinity policy (if
          it is not turned off) and message will be delivered to the queue on the same
          server where you emit it.

You can send and receive Messages from the Apple IDs and phone numbers signed in to your iMessage section in the settings of your phone. We have an article that explains a little bit about this, and it can be found here:

You can change the address that new iMessage conversations are started with in Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Start new conversations from:. Note that this setting applies only to new conversations. If you would like to change the address from which messages are sent, first change this setting, and then delete the existing conversation and start a new one.
iMessage responses will be sent from the address the recipient most recently messaged. For example, a friend sends you a message to your Apple ID. Responses in this conversation will be sent from your Apple ID, even if you've selected new conversations to start from your phone number.

Recieving messages from JMS host on different machine

Hi guys and girls,
I am having a little trouble trying to send JMS object messages from one machine to another where the JMS Host is located on the same machine as the server. We'll use the same "earth" "jupiter" example as used by sun in the tutorial.
Basically i want "earth" to generate and send object messages to a JMS host located on the same physical host. Now, i can do this well enough, but problems arise when i want a client program on "jupiter" to access this JMS queue to recieve messages from it.
I followed the example in the J2EE tutorial and it worked fine, although that assumed that the JMS host was located on "jupiter" ands i don't want it there. Is there any way to overcome this???
All imput welcome, and greatly appreciated.
P.S: there's also 2 Duke points it if for one lucky poster :P

I have been researching the exchange message loss problem on other forums, but not seen a link to browser as yet. The message loss problem we have here is in a 32bit PB.
