Inability to update my debit card information

Has anyone encountered a problem with renewing a debit card that is already in the Apple system? That seems to be my case, I know it is not from the bank as my there is Enough fund in the card to pay for the service I am requesting for.

    You can try contacting the iTunes Store and asking if there is any way to use your card, but they probably will tell you that it's not possible.

    Using a debit card in any online service where it stores your card is a bad idea in any case since if someone gains access to your account in the service, they can quickly drain your bank account. Credit cards limit your liability, as do prepaid iTunes cards.

    I replaced my old debit card with a new one. I tried to update my debit card number information. I'm pretty sure I put everything right but it showed that my credit card information does not match my bank's records. The bank has already verified my card is activated.

  • HT1918 I keep getting the error message "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed. Please try again later." every time I try to update my debit card information. What is the problem?

    This happens on both the iTunes Store on my iPhone 4S and on the desktop version of the iTunes Store.

  • I would like to delete my debit card information from all devices  associated  with it with it

    I would like to remove my bank debit card information from all apple devices associated with it. I have charges to my account that I do not want to continue as I don't know where they are coming from. I need to delete all credit information as soon as possible. It has caused many a problem with my bank account. What can I do. I do not want to go to each device as I do not know which one it. I have already deleted it from two but now charges are appearing and they are not $.99  charges but $ 10.68 charges. Any help from you would be appreciated.

    You need a payment method. If you don't have a credit card, then redeem an iTunes gift card. You'll then get the "None" option.

    I'm finding impossible to update my credit card information.
    I've been given a new credit card due to the increasing number of hackings that are going on. 
    BUT Skype are not letting me input this new information
    I don't mind the skype credit offer that has worked for me, not getting cut off mid conversation.
    BUT trying to find a customer service number to chat to someone in person is impossible to find.
    Not sure is Skype even has a customer service phone number.
    I couldn't find one after searching the skype website site for 45 minutes.
    A customer service phone number should be one of the easiest things to find on a website!
    NOT with skype!!!! Why is that??
    Customer still want to chat to a live person n get your questions anwered FAST!!!
    So I'm being forced to write my grievance on this chat page
    In the hope that someone will be able to help me sort this frustrating problem out.

    Yes, way back I think page 1 of this thread, I thought I had to add a new card (I only wanted to have a new expiry date) , then delete my old one (expired). I did this, so was using a card I didn't want to use.
    Now at last I've cracked it. You say you want to buy some credit. You then get the choices.
    1. Use the registerd card (in my case expiring of course) or
    2. use a new payment method.
    Choose option 2, enter the 'new' card details with (of course this is your  'new' card because it has a new expiry date. The purchase goes through and your 'new' card is now registered. You then delete the 'old' card....sorted! Hope that makes sense the way I've described it. And by the way if you have auto recharge you need to tell the auto recharge to use your 'new' card.
