Inactive Insert table button
Hiya! My Insert table button is greyed out & unusable. My
cursor is in the code view underneath the first <body> tag.
The Table option is also greyed out in the Insert menu. Does anyone
have any ideas as to what the problem is? Anybody? (wah)

Problem solved! Saw a past post. I needed to be in Standard
view under view menu while cursor was in design screen.

Dreamweaver CS4 Insert Table button does not work.
I recently upgrade from an older version of Dreamweave to Dreamweaver CS4. But now I have a problem with inserting tables.
They have the dropdown on the top right for Classic, Coder, Coder Plus and so on. I was using classic and everything was fine, then all of a sudden if I try using the Insert Table button from the Inserts tab, it does nothing. If I right click on the button, then click on the button it works, and if i switch to any other view it works. so then I used Coder and it was fine, but then again it stopped working. So I switched to Coder Plus and it was fine for a few more days and then it stops working again. I have rebooted my machine, closed out of DW and nothing seems to fix it. I just installed all adobe software updates and there was nothing in the update that fixed the problem. Does anyone else have this issue and if so, how do I fix it?
I have searched google and I can't find anything. I can keep switching views but one day soon if it continues, I'm going to run out of views and Its such a habit to use the button instead of the Ctrl+Alt+T shortcut.try the following
Recreate Dreamweaver CS4 Configuration and registry
- rename the configuration folder to any name. (just add any character I suggest)
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\Configuration
- recreate the registry folder
Start > run > regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Adobe>Dreamweaver>10. Rename 10 ex: 10_old

Unable to insert table in design view???
Im using Dreamweaver MX 6.0, been using it for a while
trouble free. Recently installed it on my new Vista laptop, install
went fine, program opens fine. I was in design view today, tried to
insert a table and was initially getting some weird error message,
but the table WAS created. After a few minutes I went to make a
change and the program crashed. Started Dreamweaver again, tried to
insert a table and nothing happens. I can click the insert table
button, try Insert >>> Table, and nothing happens, no
error message, nothing.
If I manually enter the code to create a table, I AM able to
do that, and I can edit it in design view, such as splitting a
cell, etc.. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

right click on the column
Insert FixedTopCell
Right click on the fixedTopCell
insert Editor.
select button.
then button will be only in the top most row.

How to delete/destroy an inactive transparent table ?
Hello everybody,
I would like to destroy (data + structure) the inactive ZT100 table on my system. First of all, I wanted to use the SE14 transaction but I can't since the action buttons are grayed (as shown on this screen shot : http://img384.imageshack.us/img384/7805/se14screenshotzt1000td.jpg).
Does anybody has a clue to help me achieve the deletion of that table?

DanielThanks for your answer but unfortunately this doesn't seem to solve the problem.
- When I try to enter the change mode in SE11 (Database table : ZT100 + Change button), the message "ZT100 does not exist. Check name" is displayed.
- When I enter ZT100 in SE11 and follow the Utilities/Database utility option, the "ABAP Dictionary: Database utility" screen is displayed but only with the "Edit" button.
FYI, the table is already empty.

MMNR - Insert interval button and group problem
Hi all,
I've got a couple of problems not sure if anyone else may have come across this.
After an upgrade to enhancement pack 4 on ECC 6 the Insert Interval button is not longer showing in the transaction MMNR.
Additionally, we cannot save newly created groups. When I click to save, I get a message saying no changes made and the newly created group promptly disappears.
I can't find anything on OSS close to this except an old note to run a report to check for table inconsistencies which I have done and not errors were detected.

I haven't done an upgrade from 4.7 to ECC6.0 but my client is using ECC 6.0 with EHP 4 (similar to your upgraded version)
Try with the following :
MMNR
Click on Change Group ( Check the Number range already used in system)
Go to Group (Top Blue Ribbon ) or press F6
Insert the Group Text and Define Number Range and save
Assign new group and interval to the Material type.
If this does not work, then you might have to take some Technical help from Basis / SAP (if reqd)

I have since run the following word example.vi provided by NI within LV2013 office examples:- Growable table.vi. this gives me the same error!

It would seem that regardless of my own Vi there is a fundamental problem in the office example vi.
I have found examples of a similar problem in LV2011/2012 but the work around code doesn't seem to match the LV2013 vi's code for a direct replacement.
Can anyone help/shed some light on this?

Dan.Because the upgrade of Word from 2007 to 2010 I needed to upgrade an existing application from LabVIEW 2009 to 2013. This didn't work because of the insert table error. I discovered that the problem is the vi called "Word_Insert_Table.vi" located in the ..Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\vi.lib\addons\_office\_wordsub.llb. There is a "Cut" command implemented, this command removes the created cell instead of clearing it. Therefore the table will be filled half and then returnes with an error. I have removed this command. I have posted the changed vi (LV 2013).

I want to insert "Print" button on my InfoPath form, by clicking on it which can give print preview with print option.
I am publishing my form through SharePoint Server into one form library.
So unable to edit using site actions > Edit page.
Could you please guide me how to it in simple way....not with customization.

I may not make myself clear. If we can get friendly print view of form, then we can use IE browser print option to print the form: IE gear settings > Print.
If you need to seperate print button on form, you could edit form web parts > edit page then insert content editor web part with:
<input onclick="window.print();" type="button" value="Print"/>

I use DW CS4. Don't know how this changed but now when i click insert>table the result is insertion of a table with width of 960 and 8 columns and 8 rows?
Where can i change this back to what it was so that in properties i can set the width, the number of columns, the number of rows, etc.

Dreamweaver should remember the last table definition you put on the page.
Insert>table>Specify Rows/Columns/Width
That should then be the default until you specify something else. -

I do not think that I am completely focused into this completely, so let us see if the following is going to help.
You are going to need a base for your button. When you mention "image" button, I am assuming that you are using that term to differentiate between a text button and a thumbnail type button.
The menus (main and scene) take their origin in .psd files on the hard drive and strict nomenclature and structure for Layers Palatte. And, the buttons on the menus trace back to the menu markers on the Timeline, main menu marker and order of placement of scene markers. The scene thumbnail will only appear when there is a scene marker on the Timeline to which it.
In view of all that
Where have you already inserted this "image (button)"...into the Layers Palette of a Photoshop document or other? Is this "image (button)" in a structured Layer Group in the Layers Palette with sublayer groups, text layers, graphic/background layer"?
Let me give you an example
If you have a button (with thumbnail) on the main menu and you want that to open to a specific scene in your movie, then you use a main menu marker on the Timeline at the spot that you want that button to target.
If I am getting closer to what you seek, then please further clarify the DVD navigational envisioned scheme.

How do you edit-in a "stop" into a screen recording and then insert a "button" to link to a document
Ok, so I am working on my first Captivate project. So far so good (mostly). I want to interupt a screen capture recording that I now have. Currently, it captures a pdf screen and an audio narration. I want to have a button appear at a certain time within the recording were the user can click it and be taken to another pdf document in which the user will have to read the document and take a quiz on the content. This action of clicking the button will stop the recorded screen narration and allow unlimited time to read the linked document and complete the quiz. Upon completing the quiz, the user will click the continue button and be returned to the screen capture recording where they left off. Sooooooo........How do I do this??????????
Will I have to split the screen capture recording into two slides in order to make it stop when the button appears?
Will I have to, or can I, insert a branching slide function at any point in my screen capture recording?
Is it best to connect the button directly to the pdf file or to a url on my intranet?

JohnToo bad, you should know that full motion is mostly not the best choice in Captivate, because not only the filesize is much larger, but editing is a lot more difficult than with the, for CP, more natural capturing mode Automatic (or Custom) where static slides are produced whenever possible and only will be reverted to FMR when necessary.
Between the editing possibilities for FMR you have splitting, which could help you.
Or else, try to view the FMR by using Preview slide (F3 or the play icon on the Timeline, or space bar). Pause on the place where you want to have a pausing. The playhead in CP5.5 will remain on that frame, you can see at which second it is placed. Now insert a button, that will be placed with the start of its timeline at the position of the playhead. If this is really the place where you want to pause, you have to change the timing of that button so that the pausing point is exactly at that place. You can move the button timeline with the mouse, or perhaps better by using shortcut keys: arrow keys (left/right) will move 0,1sec in that direction, CTRL-arrow 1 sec. You can check, edit ths Pause at also in the Timing accordion of the Properties panel of the button.
You will have to insert as action for that button Open URL or File.
