Inbound calls no longer work despite a paid subscr...
I cannot receive phone calls. I have a paid subscription with a personalized number which makes it possible for me to receive and make calls to any phone in the USA. This has not worked since the release of this new version. Please help. (I already unstinalled and reinstalled the program, which has not fixed the issue.)

Please report this to Skype Customer Service and to request this be resolved. That whatever telephone company is not relaying your inbound calls is of concern.

I built a new pop-up menu for my website using Spry in Adobe Dreamweaver. Because of some differences in .HTML and .XHTML
it took me days to get it right. I tested every variation in Firefox until it worked perfectly. Today, I installed the newest version of Firefox and now the pop-up no longer works. I changed the preferences in Firefox to disable to pop-up blocker and it STILL DOESN'T WORK...although an older style of pop-up menu (menu machine) which is no longer supported by Adobe, DOES WORK.

OP is using CS3 and the menu blog is talking about the menus
in earlier
versions of FW, so *most* of the points made in the blog
don't apply.
That's not to say that using CS3 pop-up menus is a *good*
thing....

I need to get this off my chest, as I see 2 similar posts regarding this same problem. If bestbuy.com proceeds to take in an order and cancel it, you should also be able to reissue a promotion code. Particularly because bestbuy.com customer service admits that the order was cancelled because something in your system flagged the credit card, but could not explain why, and said that it looks like all the credit card information was correct.
I tried to purchase an item with a mover's coupon. Order went through with the promo code. Great! Then I get an email saying that it was cancelled. I immediately called and spoke with someone for 19 minutes who told me that she couldn't tell why the order was cancelled, but that it looks like all the credit card information was correct despite the system saying credit card could not be verified. I explicitly asked her about the promo code I applied, and she stated that I could reuse it since the order was cancelled. She even told me that I could go into a physical store and place the order with a salesperson there to redo the order and use the same credit card if I wanted. So somehow that credit card won't work online, but it would work in a store.
I then proceeded to try to reorder online with another credit card. To my surprise, the promo code was rejected. My blood started boiling because I had asked about this exact thing. Cue second phone call to customer support. This time I was on the phone for 49 minutes, only to get hung up on. Now, I am livid.
So, everytime an agent comes on the phone, they ask for my phone number and email address. How convenient for you to take all that information down, hang up on me, and not call me back. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt -- maybe you accidently hit the wrong button or had a bad connection, but you should have at least called me back since you were actively working on my case. After another call to customer service, and being on hold for 5 minutes, I gave up.

After updating to iOS 7.1 calling no longer works
After I updated to 7.1, everything works fine except for calling/my phone number. iMessage and FaceTime only work when using my email but when people call me it goes straight to voicemail and when I call people I just hear nothing. The LTE works fine but I just have no bars. Is this a hardware or software error?

Add Participants (to existing call) no longer work...

For some reason the "Add Participants" feature no longer shows up when I click the + (plus) sign during a live call. I just upgraded to the latest version 6.21.x (Oct 11, 2014) and the problem remains. Can anyone assist me with this? Thanks in advance.
JohnI made this same complaint issue back on version 13 moving to other versions of firefox. Firefox should display the Green , blue colours by default as they did in version 13. It should be built into Firefox. The new version after version 13 only show a weak coloured text which is difficult to see. However other browsers like Opera, chrome do have the proper visual coloring.

Bluetooth calls no longer work in car since upgrading to ios 8
upgraded my 5S to iOS 8 on Sep 19 and now cannot make or receive calls in my car or my bluetooth headset. I have reset my phone, deleted bluetooth connection and repaired, updated my car's software and all to no avail. I'm sure Apple will blame my car (2014 bmw x6m) but my Plantronics bluetooth headset doesn't connect either. Please update ASAP, this is crazy and last straw I think. I hated but followed along when they changed the charging ports to lightning but I can't take this anymore. I live where its illegal to be on the phone in my car so I need this and I'm tired of my Android friends laughing at me and never mentioning these type of connection/compatibility issues.
Was in the Apple Stor this morning in Indianapolis and picked up a Bluetooth keyboard to use with my iPad mini 2. Sadly neither I nor staff could get it to work with voiceover working. The staff, both sales and tech, appeared as shocked as I was. I was surprised that over 6 months Apple had not fixed this issue. Now I am wasting my time trying to back up reports of this problem on Apple's website. I know Apple over the last 10 years had given a lot of us so many advancements, but maybe that's changing? All I know is that as a busy professional, Apple has cost me about 4 hours of lost productivity today. I wish I could charge them for it!

Grouping compilations no longer works after adding artwork..!
Until yesterday I had never bothered with adding artwork to my itunes library as I had a gen 3 iPod that would not show it anyway. I have a new ipod so last night I decided to add artwork, this I did by getting what I could from Gracenote, the rest I have been dragging from images on Amazon and other sites. Ever since doing this the Group Compilations option no longer works, despite having this checkbox ticked in preferences and making sure that the yes box for part of a compilation is ticked for these albums. In addition, every song in a compilation album is displayed individually in the Cover Flow view option.
Is this a peculiarity of 7.2 or is there a way I can get this to work again? I am sure it is something to do with having added artwork as it was working fine before.

History function no longer works
The Search function of my firefox browsing history doesn't work. I key the combination of CTRL + H to initiate the "History" left side panel. Then, I used to be able to key-in text into the Search feature and have it bring up relevant web sites that I visited in the past. However, suddenly, over the past three weeks or so, the keyword history Search feature no longer works, despite my saved history of web site browsing is still listed, after keying the CTRL + H combination.
Go to: Apple > System Preferences > Dictation & Speech > Test to Speech and make sure that the box for "Speak selected text..." is checked and that the proper Shift+Control+Space keys are set.
If the box is already checked, uncheck and then recheck it to reset the saved preference. -

My ringer is no longer working for text and email notifications. Only working for phone calls. I have gone through all the settings to see where something is off. Not finding anything. I have tried changing the tone and it just vibrates on everything.
Ok so I happened to figure it out while on the phone to apple support. Even though the guy was very nice, I think I knew more than him! He was explaining very basic resolution principles I played about. I had the second option in displays resolution. All I did was unplug the HDMI cable, click on 'best for display' then plugged the HDMI in and my resolution on the normal monitor changed to the normal blue, then went black momentarily and then changed to a strange resolution but another window appeared that said SONY BRAVIA HDMI at the top! Hey presto! Don't know why it didn't do it yesterday - I probably left the HDMI cable in or something! Oh well. Problem solved!

I just bought a (used) Iphone 3gs for wife and it had angry birds and $89 Navigation on it (I paid extra for it). Once updated and logged into my I-tunes it no longer works? How can I make those apps work?
Apple doesn't have anything to do with this other than enforcing the DRM protection. The developers of this content expect to be paid if someone wants to use their content. When you purchase content in the app store, you purchase a license to use the content. This license does not permit you or anyone else to resell or give this content away. The individual you purchased the phone from simply does not have the right to sell or give away any purchased content on the phone. You were deceived.

Pretty much. Except that Apple will replace it for a fixed fee that is far less than the cost of a new phone. In the US the replacement cost for an iPhone 4 is $149. It is comparable in the UK. Unless you can prove that the fault was present at the time of purchase. A switch wearing out would probably be considered normal wear and tear, not a "fault". -
Bluetooth no longer works for incoming calls after recent update
When I updated my Bluetooth to iOS 6, the Bluetooth no longer works for incoming calls. I press button to answer call, it makes a small cracking noise, and then sends the call to my phone. I can use the Bluetooth for outgoing calls and it works just fine. I was hoping when I updated to iOS 6.0.1 that the problem would be fixed. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Bluetooth but that has not helped either. I am frustrated. I have a LG HBM-905 Bluetooth that I loved prior to this problem.
Magically started working today after I synced.
