Inbound delivery distribution error

Hi,
I'm not being able to distribute an inbound delivery from the ERP to the EWM system.
Everyt time I get the error:
"Item XXX is not supported in EWM and cannot be distributed "
I've had earlier successfully transfered the item in the EWM system. Cannot find the cause of the error.
Anybody who has faced a similar error, kindly help.

Inbound delivery idoc error in segment e1eld20

we are receiving delivery idoc from the vendor, so this is delivery will be created as inbound delivery in our system, so in the segment E1EDL20 field VBELN(let say 'ABCD') is the outbound delivery number of the vendor ( i believe), but when is try to process this idoc it gives the error as 'delivery ABCD does not exist' ( it's obvious that the delivery 'ABCD' will not be in our system because it's a vendor delivery number), can some body please let me know whats wrong with this E1EDL20-VBELN.

Thanks for your replies and documents.
Now I find the problems lies in the error connection between R/3 and BW. IF the autoconfiguration is completelly correct , the table RSBASIDOC in both system should be added one record.But now when the source system is activated successfully ,the table in R/3 side has no entry while the BW side has one entry .juding from this ,there is no BW system connected to the R/3 ,which is proved when I fill the setup table for LO datasource an error message shows that there's no BW system is connected to the OLTP system.
How can i figure this issue out ?If I want to do an automatic configuration ,what shall I do ?

Inbound Delivery & Distribution

I am not even sure if this is the right module to post this question in - but I am giving a try. Our company is not a manufacturing firm and it has implimented MM. There is a central unit which receives all the material ordered throughout the company in addition to the material that is maintained in house. We want to be able to keep track of all the shipments coming in by entering the information into SAP when a new shipment has arrived. We also would like to create a distribution list which might have in house materials and materials out for distribution. We are thinking about implimenting WM or SD. Is that a way to go or is there any other options in MM itself that can take care of this? Responses will be greatly appreciated.

As per our analysis of the business process scenario described by you, i think out of WM and SD, SD will be helpful if you are looking for distribution related task. WM can be used but if you are having a large inventory and storage location.

Error message while creating an inbound delivery to generate an idoc

Inbound delivery is not part of Sales and Distribution. You might want to move your post to either the Logistics Materials Management (MM) forum or the Workflow forum.
Also sometimes search for OSS notes by the message class and number helps.

Error in inbound delivery replication ERP - EWM

Hi,
We have recently installed SAP ERP 6 EhP 6 and EWM 7.0 Ehp2 Add-On
Now, we are not being able to replicate Inbound Delivery from ERP to EWM.
As we save the ID in ERP we are getting a message that the ID has been distributed.
But the document is getting stuck in the RFC queue.
In SMQ2 the particular queue gets the status "SYSFAIL" with the error message "Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION raised. Message no. SY359"
The function module field contains "/SCWM/INB_DLV_SAVEREPLICA"
The status message says: "CREATE DATA: The document /1DF/_PDI000 is no... "
I've properly defined the standard BAPI destination and I've checked note 1398474.
Please help me get out of this mess.

As per my knowledge I haven't see this issue and table you are asking are not found as requirement in system without which delivery is able to replicate in EWM.
Also try to create new delivery in ECC and send... As you was checking in SMQ2 it means
"The status message says: "CREATE DATA: The document /1DF/_PDI000 is no..." it means after sending your delivery from ECC it is coming to back to the system where you are checking inbound queue and trying to create delivery.
That time it find NO range for delivery , so see number range assignment or number range maintenance and refusing to create delivery.
so update Number range and assignment properly for ID in EWM system and check new flow.
if resolved dont see below points.
please provide more infrmation of below error from SLG1. keep some extra selection time zone.
1. Do you have same or different client. As per above your description my understanding was same client (ECC and EWM).
If you have different client then your ECC WM parameter under EWM interface makes ur delivery move to EWM system with distribution model created with BAPI replica.
As I do not have ur system my second option will be try to check above setting and if not try to push in debug mode to see proper code.

Error in creation of inbound delivery

When I tried to create inbound delivery against schedule agreement
1) Following warning message is coming when I enter the quantity for each and every line item
u201CAcknowledgment for PO item contains data varianceu201D
2)Following error message is coming when I saved the delivery
u201CTermination during purchase order updateu201D
So I am unable to create the inbound delivery
Note: this error is coming for a particular vendor only

Goto SM13 .
Find the terminations based on user and creation date.
Get the same analysed by ur ABAP team.
Also check the confirmations in PO at Item level.

Error during the replication of inbound delivery document to GTS

While trying to transfer an inbound delivery from the feeder system to the GTS system, I am getting the following error, eventhough the customs document type TRLOIM is assigned to the Feeder sys doc type EL, at application level MM0B in customs management. The inbound delivery document has been maintained with the Prev Doc Type T1 & Prem Doc No in the Foreign trade Data
Customs document type cannot be determined for external document type

Hi Ram,
Please use OSS note1238850 to fix the issue, this error comes as your doc type EL is not getting transferred when you are sending I/B delivery.

Error while creating TO w.r.t. Inbound delivery

Dear All,
As there is a requirement to track the pallet, a storage location with Handling unit management activated in it.
The storage unit management is also activated in the warehouse and storage type.
When initial entry of stock was uploaded in MB1C, an inbound delivery is created with the movement type 561.
But when we try to create a TO w.r.t. the inbound delivery(after assigning the packing material), system throws an error with
" No items or handling units to be placed in storage could be determined ".
(Or) Is there any way to track the pallets for which stock movements happen through Intra company STO's.

When am trying to post the MIGO for HU Inbound Delivery Creation, am getting an error saying "Required parameters missing when calling up module MARV_SINGLE_READ".
Following areas I have verifed:
The posting periods in MMRV shows current period.
The Number range for HU ID and Delivery type HID is maintained.
Now am looking for your expert opinion to resolve this issue.

PPF: automatically Putaway WT creation after distribution of the inbound delivery from ERP

Dear Experts,
I'm trying to test the PPF in order to create a putaway WT for an inbound delivery in EWM-System directly after its distribution from the ERP-System.

After this I try to disribute an inbound delivery from ERP to EWM, but as after distribution as after saving of the inboun delivery nothing happens.
Could you, guys, give some hits, what I missed and where I should define the whrehouse process type for the putaway WT?

But even I have only one condition record to my action "PDO_01_WT_CREATE" it will not be fulfilled...log says
I also changed the GM status to NSNS...can I somehow find out which conditiontion the programm is claiming about?

MIGO Goods Receipt - error with Movement Types on GR from Inbound Delivery

Hi,
I am getting an error message when processing a Goods Receipt (MIGO) against an Inbound Delivery with as 2 lines with different movement types, a standard 101 and a 970 (the latter being a user defined movement type for free goods).
The error message I get is 'Movement type 970 is not allowed; only 101 is allowed
Message no. BORGR622'
This error message only occurs with a Goods Receipt against an Inbound Delivery, we are able to process a similar Goods Receipt using MIGO against a Purchase Order, with two different movement types 101 and 970, without any issues.
It is only a problem with a GR against an Inbound Delivery which is necessary in our MM solution.
As anybody and ideas how to resolve this? I cannot see anything obvious in config, and have not spotted any SAP OSS notes either.
I should mention that we can process a single line Inbound Delivery and Goods Receipt for the Movement Type 970 also!

The solution was set up at my company before I joined, but the different movement type is to enable the free goods stock to make a Finance posting to a Bonus Stock GL Account. Bonus stock sale update the same account.
As I mention the '970' movement type worked fine with Goods Receipt against a Purchase Order (it was coded into to the user exit).
The MM procedures were changed to use the Inbound Delivery matched to the PO, this had a result that when the Goods receipt was posted in MIGO it posted as 101 movement, as the PO number was not being recognised.
By making a further change to the user exit we able to suggest the '970' movement type, but now get the BORGR622 error I refer to.
'511' is not possible against an inbound delivery either.

Error during inbound delivery creation for some times not always

I'm getting the following error when i'm trying to create an inbound delivery for PO.
                                                                                Diagnosis
The system attempted to find the reference movement type for
     the Warehouse Management system. A corresponding entry is
     missing in table 156S with the argument 101/X/X/ / /X/.
     The argument consists of:
     o   IM movement type
     o   Indicator: Value update
     o   Indicator: Quantity update
     o   Special stock
     o   Movement indicator
     o   Access indicator
     o   Indicator: Consumption
Can someone help me to resolve it? as it is not happening always

Thanks for the response and yes i did maintained IM/WM mvt types for 101 in both places.
If the movement type is maintained well why SAP says it is not?
SPRO > LE > WM > Interfaces > IM > Define Movement Types - "Assign WM Movement Type References to IM Movement Types'
Related tabel is V_156S_WM
If you check your configuration you will see that there are many entries with 101, and there are several other parameters...
First you should check what you are doing in IM, what parameters that mvt has (qty, value update, special stock, etc) > after that you should check whether it is maintained well in WM customizing - see steps in my previous email.

Error during Inbound Delivery creation by Idoc DELVRY05

Hi,
We are trying to consolidate ASNs and creating an inbound delivery for the same. Thus we have more than one PO information in the idoc.
It processes fine and creates an inbound delivery if all the line item nos are different.
But the issue is, when there are articles which have the same line item no. even if the articles are different and they are on different POs. It gives the following errors.
1) "Delivery item cannot be exactly determined
Message no. HUFUNCTIONS313"
I tried to debug the above error and found that while packing it looks to the lips-vbeln/posnr & not the PO nr./PO item.
I am not sure if this could be handled by some config. Please advice.
2) "V51VP - item was not found - process cancelled
Message no. HUGENERAL056"
Any hints or comments on the above would be appreciated.

Hi Raghavendra,
It has been a long time. But, as far as I can remember we had made coding adjustments in the customer-exit EXIT_SAPLV55K_004, include ZXTRKU12 to fetch the correct item and fill the idoc segment fields.
This resolved the issue.
