Inbound emails from internet stuck in smtp database queue

I have 4 exchange servers
2 MBX and 2 CAS.
I am forwarding the smtp request from firewall to cas02 and using cas01 as stand by.
Email are working fine except some time when we look at the email queue emails get queued n smtp database. And it take very long time to route to user mailbox.
My mailbox in the DAG.
When I checked in the Active Directory DNS MX record pointing to cas01 and cas02

Hi mswizard,
Thank you for your question.
How long time to route user mailbox?
When did the email get queued? The specific or random a period of time?
Email got queued comes from the specific domain or all external domain?
In order to troubleshooting, when the email gets queued, we could collect the following information to
[email protected]
The application logs on Exchange server ;
The System logs on Exchange server;
Message tracking logs on Hub server in the following path:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\TransportRoles\Logs\MessageTracking
  4. SMTP logs on the Hub server  in the following path:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\TransportRoles\Logs\ProtocolLog\SmtpReceive
There are some reasons which may cause email queued for long time to delivery:
Network issue
Make sure no loop in network and other network issues.
  2. Exchange server performance
The Exchange server didn’t deal with many emails at the same time owing to performance, we could improve the performance of the Exchange server. We could use
performance monitor in EMC to check.
  3. Anti-virus software
We could try to disable A/V to check if the problem that email is delivering to user mailbox persists for a long time.
If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.
Best Regard,
Jim

  • Smtp; 551 5.7.1 relaying denied - new secondary domain does not receive email from internet

Exchange 2007 smpt error "smtp; 551 5.7.1 relaying denied" Inbound email sender gets this error when trying to send to secondary domain. This is a single server exchange setup.
Here is what we have done:
#1 We have added a new policy for the new domain and also added the new domain to my default policy. ( Result are the same whether it is in the default policy or not)
#2 I also set the new domain as Accepted domain and as Authoritative.
#3 The mailbox I am sending to has the new domain email address and the address follows the selected conventions in the policy.
#4 I have the mx record in dns and verified that using the online MXToolbox.
#5 I can telnet to the new domain mx record on port 25 and the smtp banner comes up as expected. The result and banner are the same when telneting to the primary domain.
If I send from my primary exchange domain to the new domain the mail goes through. When I reply back it also works.
What setting am i missing here? I need to get Exchange 2007 to accept inbound email from the internet.
    Thx
    Scot

    Hi Scot,
In addition to Rich's suggestion, I would like to clarify the following thing:
If you have a relay, please ensure that you add the secondary domain to mail relay server.
What's more, here is a thread for your reference.

    Hope it helps.

  • Not receiving emails from internet to email ids of exchange 2013

    hi
    1) i installed exchange 2013 , mails going out well, coming well, but from internet mails r not receieving to email ids of exchange 2013, i added receive connnector also, but not working.
    2) how to take backup of exchange 2013 & individual mailbox of mail id
    pls

    Hi
    For your question
Make sure that the anonymous permission is enabled on the default receive connector
Make sure the port 25 is open for inbound and outbound in your firewall
Telnet to port 25 from external network to your domain and ensure port 25 is open
To take a back up it may not be  easy to answer on this because it depends on the bckup software you are using.
If you are using Windows server backup then you have the below tech-net which you can refer

  • Send email from OWB with authenticated SMTP server (AUTH_LOGIN)

    Hi all,
I want to send email from Oracle Warehouse Builder 11.2.0.2 using a SMTP server with basic authentication (AUTH_LOGIN).
I've created an ACL for OWBSYS user according to note ID 1229769.1 in support.oracle.com.
But, I need to configure again the ACL to connect to the SMTP server using user and password.
I read the article in metalink, *How to Send an Email Using SMTP over an SSL Connection [ID 1323140.1]*+
but I don't know how can I configure again the ACL for use in OWB.
How OWB is able to authenticate with the SMTP server?
    Thanks!

  • Two days ago I began having trouble receiving my emails from internet provider.

I can still get my emails in my windows laptop but not on my apple products.  We own two iphones and an ipad.  When I create an email in webmail, it will be pushed to apple products.  If I create an email on my laptop and send it to myself, I see it in webmail but it is not pushed to my apple products.  This goes to all outside emails.  My gmail account is working fine.  I can send emails out fine.  Of course my Internet provider is claiming it is not them.  I have to go to apple.  Here I am.  I tried to delete the latest emails thinking that there was a bad email.  No luck.  Any other ideas?  I reset my devices.
Another weird thing is that when people respond to my email, I receive those on my apple products.

  • Send email from SAP using SMTP-AUTH

    Dear all,
I would like to send email from SAP to external SMTP server using authenticated method.
Can I set up this scenario with SAPConnect?
Or are there any other methods to set up this scenario?
    Thanks, Regards,

    Hi,
You dont need anu authentication to be set :
    Just follow below steps :
Simple steps to do the SMTP configuration :
    1. Use transaction SCOT
    3. Double Click on SMTP
    4. You will get a window and fill in description
    5. Tick the "Node in use" box
    6. Enter the hostname of the email exchange server
    7. Mail port will be 25
    8. Click on the button next to Internet called "Set"
    9. You will get another window, in the "address area" box, enter *
    10. Click the green check button to exit the second window
    11. Click the green check button to exit the main window
    12. From top menu: Settings -> Default Domain
    13. in the small box that appears enter the domain name which is the last part after the @ sign. The domain name would be company.com
    14. You need to define a job to process the email, from top menu: View -> Jobs
    15. From top menu: Job -> Create
    16. Enter a name
    17. Click on "INT" in the list then "Schedule job" button
    18. Enter start date and time, then click on "Schedule Periodically" button
    19. Enter something like every 10 minutes.
    20. the configuration is now complete. To test it, you need to have an email defined in your user id properties. Use SU01 for that.
    21. Use transaction SO00
    22. Put Title, and text in the body, then enter your email address below, the recepient type would be "internet address"
    23. After a maximum of 10 minutes you should get the email address.

  • How to transfer my Yahoo Email acct. from Internet Exp. to Firefox, my new browser?

How do I transfer my Yahoo email from Internet Explorer to my new browser, Firefox, including all sent messages and contacts, etc., [email protected]
== I applied to Mozilla Firefox to be my browser

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access web mail, you need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
If your problem is with Thunderbird, see this forum for support.

  • Send email from oracle

    Dear member & developers
I want to send e mail from oracle application. If anybody knows, how to do this. please write or send a sample application or forms or database sql. I don't restricted to any application version like 10g or 11g same as database...
    I seriously need it.
    Thanks in Advanced.

As Francois indicated - there are multiple examples around the internet and in the forums. Any email solution you choose is going to require that you have access to a valid email server (SMTP, POP3, etc). Also, the solution is dependent on "Where" you want to send the email from. I prefer a database solution because this makes it available to your entire database application, but you can use a Java email method (using Forms PJC or Java Bean) or you can OLE link to Microsoft Outlook.
Take a look at Send Email from the Database. I wrote this package based on the DEMO_MAIL package provided by Oracle (via OTN) and stream line things a bit. There is an example of how to use the package in the article.
Take a look at Send email with HTML body and local file attachements article on Franscois's web site for an example of sending email from an Oracle Form using Java.
If you need to use Outlook - search the forum. I don't consider this to be a reasonable method so I don't use it or recommend it. I'm sure it works fine for others, I just think being dependent on a application installed on the client is not a solid solution. That's just my opinion. ;-)
I search through out the net. Didn't get any tutorial video or any working materiel. I disagree with this statement - I did a quick Google search and found many examples (no videos) and demo's.
    Hope this helps,
    Craig B-)

  • Delayed inbound email between Sonicwall ES300 and Yosemite server

I currently have a setup consisting of a Yosemite email server with a Sonicwall ES300 as a relay.
Under moderate to heavy email traffic, I've been noticing that inbound emails (from the ES300 to the Yosemite server) begin to queue up on the ES300 with the message of ECONNRESET. This queue will sometimes rise as high as 200 emails and will eventually all clear out at once (sometimes after an hour or so). Email will flow correctly for a short period before the queue will begin to build again. This does not affect outbound or internal email. During times of low email usage (weekends), emails are rarely queued.
I've experienced this issue as well with an older server running 10.6. I'm not sure wether this is something that needs to be corrected on the Yosemite server or the ES300.
I'm curious if anyone has experienced similar issues. Is there something within main.cf or master.cf that could be rate limiting the IP of the ES300? If this is the case, it would have to be something in the default configuration since I haven't configured anything out of the ordinary. My other theory is that this could be due to high CPU usage on the ES300 causing connection issues.
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

The web interface System Status page for the SonicWall will show CPU usage so you can see if it is running high. You can also on newer models go to the Diagnostics page and run the Multi-Core monitor to see a real time chart of CPU usage.
Some systems will impose a delay on connections if they 'decide' that the connections are suspicious e.g. possible spam or hacking attacks. You could temporarily as a test try disabling any anti-spam or anti-spoofing features you may currently have enabled. Apple's OS X also has a software firewall which can do much the same thing. See the following.
OS X Server: About the Firewall service - Apple Support
OS X Server: How to enable the adaptive firewall - Apple Support
Other than that, your SonicWall should be covered by a support/extended warranty agreement, this would allow you to contact SonicWall directly for support. They can then with your permission look at your SonicWall logs to provide you assistance.

  • Sending an email from my database

    Hi!
I wanna send an email from within a procedure from my database, Im thinking of using the utl_smtp package, I know I need acces from my database server to the smtp server, that can be done... when u use the utl_smtp package u need to specify the smtp host, the email address of the sender, the email address of the receptor, and some other stuff, what I wonder is: Where do u specify the password of the email address of the sender?, I mean, it doesnt make sense that u use an email address to send an email and u dont specify the password of that account
In all the samples Ive seen all over internet I havent found something that tells me something about it...
    Any Help???

A lot of smtp servers do not require a username/password when sending mail, only when receiving mail.
If you need verification, you can do it with utl_smtp:
    utl_smtp.command( conn, 'AUTH LOGIN');
    utl_smtp.command( conn, utl_raw.cast_to_varchar2( utl_encode.base64_encode( utl_raw.cast_to_raw( cuser ))) );
    utl_smtp.command( conn, utl_raw.cast_to_varchar2( utl_encode.base64_encode( utl_raw.cast_to_raw( cpassword ))) );

Having problems sending email from my iphone and ipad. Im getting a SMTP is incorrect error. Has anyone had this problem?
Spent 3 hours with internet carrier still not resolved. Everything is fine on the imac.

What is the error message provided if any?
If the email account is provided by your ISP, does your ISP have an authenticated SMTP server?
Are you unable to send email with the account using your iPhone or iPad when connected to the same wi-fi network or internet connection as your Mac with your ISP?
