hi ravi,
here is one example how to enhance.
Goto RSA6- select the 0Material.- Click on Enhance extract structure-> it will take u to the next screen there u need to create the field material group1. and append it to 0Material.
Goback to RSA6-- RC on 0material-- it will take you to customer version edit screen- here unchk the Hide and Field only known in exit options n save it.
Next Go back to RSA6-- 0material- click on Function enhancement it will take you to CMOD Screen( here we need to enter the project name and click create if not created on click display)
In the next screen we find the function exits Like EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 FOR T DATA AND EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002 FRO Master Data,_003 for Text n _004 for Hierarchies.
select the appropriate function exit and double clikc on it. It will take you to Function builder screen.
D Click on defn of Include ZXRSAU01. it will take you to abap editor screen.
here u need to include the code for the enhanced fields n also write the code to populate the dat for that particular field.
save it and avtivate the code.

I read all about the changing the scripts but its not really working for me. I was hoping someone could help me with directions on how to auto populate the date into designated text fields when my adobe document is first opened?

When you add a new document JavaScript (Advanced > Document Processing > Document JavaScripts > Script Name (enter something) > Add), you will be given a function skeleton by default. Just delete it and enter the line of code I showed above. Now, whenever the document is opened, the code will get triggered and the field will be updated with the current date. There is no "Document Open" action (at least that's accessible via Acrobat's UI), but this is effectively the same thing since any document-level JavaScripts are executed when the document is opened.

Idoc issue while loading the data into BI

Hello Gurus,
Initially i am having the Source System connection problem. After it was fixed by the basis i had followed the below process.
I am loading the data using the Generic extractor specifying the selection and its a full load. When i load the data from R3 PP application i found the below result in the monitor screen of BW.
1. Job was completed in the R3 system and 1 million records are fetched by extractor.
2. the records are not posted to the BW side Because of TRFC issue.
3. i got the idoc number and process it in the BD87 tCode. But it was not process sucessfully it gives the following error " Error when saving BOM. Please see the application log."
4. when i check the Application Log using the Tcode SLG1 with the help of time and date of that particular process it was in the yelow status.
Kindly let me know i can i resolve this issue. i have already tried by repeating the infopackage job still i am facing the same issue. I have also check the connection its is ok.

I would like to know how we can populate value when it opens into form manager.
For ex A person opens a form he enter the emploee id and all corresponding fields should get populated in corresponding with that from database.

i m using live cycle designer 7.1, i have mapped the form with default values for example in a table if all the rows of the table is mapped with one default value and if one user info is populated in the table then all the default value is not printing ie in the remaining rows can any help in this regard

"You can use FM RS_VARIANT_CONTENTS to display ONE variant associated to a report
If you want to see the information of ALL VARIANTS associated to a report I think the only way is checking table VARID to get all the variants associated to the report and then do a loop and call RS_VARIANT_CONTENTS for each variant."

How to populate existing data into a DFF Page

Hi OAF Gurus,
I have a requirement where i have to create a Search Page where for each line i should have a DFF.
Till now i have created a Search Page where at each line i am having an Image on click on which i am navigating to one more page where i am having a DFF.
The problem is when i click on the image i should populate all the data (if already present for the segments) but when i am doing so i am getting an Error which is as below:Current VO row is empty for flexfield
I have checked the DFF portion through Java code and declaratively also but same error is percisting.
If i open the Update Page directly then the DFF is rendered correcyt.
Kindly suggest.

When i am in the processFormRequest i am checking the rowCount it is showing only the rows which are available in the table.It should show the extra empty row which i had created in processRequest.
See in the processRequest i am creatng an empty row after which in the processFormRequest i am setting the data into the empty rows.
But everytime it is pointing to the first row.Which is quite strange as i have'nt noticed this thing in earlier implementations.The only difference what i have noticed is earlier i was using custom table but now i am using Fnd_LookUp_Values.
Can use of Look Up table cause this issue?

my source system is not R/3,it is BI.
(ctually we are xtracting the data (from a cube) with the help of programm to a table and then i am creating a generic data ource on that table and loading the data to my cube.)
i am getting this error message.

1. Concat the field names
2. Union all the particular fields
3. Convert the date field into IST
4. Prepare the statement
5. write the data into a file

Double Pipe (||) is the concatenation operator in Oracle. There is also a function CONCAT for this purpose
2. Union all the particular fields
Not sure what do you mean by UNION ALL particular fields? UNION ALL is a set operation applied on two different result sets that have the same projection.
3. Convert the date field into IST

What do you mean by prepare the statement?

You can INSERT into both tables within one Transaction but not in one statement. By the way, you would need to alter your dbo.Test1 table to allow null for first INSERT test2_id column
