Inbound interface problem?

Dear Gurus,
I have problem in interface and not getting idea as why it is happening?
There is interface in which inbound deliveries are created/updated in SAP and also Po also updated.
But, the idocs are processed late(say after 4 hrs)..It is happening regularly..
Why is it happening?

Can you check your batch jobs sm37 what time these idocs processing and batch job schedules.This could be delay idoc processing batch job.

Hi all,
I have an error in sxmb_moni. Everytime I click on the red flag, I get the error, "Unable to find inbound interface". I already checked namespaces and SCV in IR. I also checked Interface Determination in ID. They are all correct. I have already tested my config in QAS, and everything went well. I'm having problems right now in PRD. Can somebody help me? thanks.

Execution of Inbound Interfaces in EOIO for separate messages

Hello XI Experts
We have a proxy to jdbc scenario. The rquirement is like we have to delete all the data from the oracle table, insert the data records into the table,and call a stored procedure from xi which will be done sequentially. We will be sending the message in chunks of 10,000 records from the source i.e from the proxy i.e there will be different messages with unique messageids creted , directed to the receiver. we have thought of the following design to execute the messages in EOIO.There will be 3 inbound interfaces DeleteDataMsg,InsertDataMsg(0 to n), CallStoredProcMsg and three different mapings corresponding to the inbound interfaces with different condition rules.There will be always one outbound interface which will be triggered from proxy .
Is our design correct to implement the requirement?

Hi all.
After taking some hints from this thread, we have found out that the problem lied some where in the installation part of PI.
We've set up a basic script, local and not remote, and still the system would not execute that command.
The RWB logs showed successful processing but the Application Server logs were full of errors and stack traces regarding the execution of any command. A support note was raised with SAP support in order to trace these errors.
I'm therefore closing this question as the original question is not related with remote scripting.

SCM Inbound Interfaces for 11i

Is there any SCM Inbound Interface for 11i for external non-Oracle systems to place a requsition or purchase order? if so, what protocol does it use and is this protocol standard for a 11i install?
This interface would be from PeopleSoft 8.47 not currently setup up to use BPEL.

Hi,
As I understand, you have to map incoming message to same message structure of outbound side and then send it to two different receivers.
If this is correct, then you need not perform two message mappings. You need to design the scenario like a normal scenario in Integration Repository. However, in Integration Directory, you would need additional configuration to have two receivers for same message. This would be as follows:
1. Business System for receiver
2. CC for receiver
3. One Receiver Determination with two receivers configured. However, no condition specified for them.
4. Two interface determinations, one for each receiver.
5. Receiver agreements.
This configuration should solve your problem.

Business system - inbound interface issue

Hello,
I have created a business system in SLD and assigned required SWCV in installed products tab.now i imported that business system in to ID.
But in my business system i am not able to find the inbound interfaces of perticular SWCV. (able to see some other i/b and o/b interfaces)
i have configured SLD perfectly. ( in business system -installed products tab i have assigned the SWCV and product and check box was ticked). but the same SWCV and it's interfaces are not reflecting at the ID>business system.
now this business system is using in so many interfaces. so i can't reimport again. So kindly suggest how can i get the inbound interfaces to my business system in ID.

Check Cache Overview to see if you are facing any problem,
also if you create the BS with the proper SWC, etc etc. and few days later you define a new SWC to this BS, you have to refresh the configuratio in the SLD-->I mean, go to BS and check if all SWC associated are selected. if not, select them and try again. this is important if you want to define a routing rule in the Receiver determination.
Now if you are in the ID and you cannot see directly services filtering by BS, dont care just change the filters to ANY ANY and you will see all services.

Inbound interface found more than once for outbound interface

Hello everybody,
i have a simple problem.
I build a interface with XI3.0
File to idoc
for each file i need crate 2 idoc.
It's not a problem when Idoc type is different, but in my case i need crate 2 idoc of same type but with a different mapping.
so when i upload the file i have this error:
Inbound interface found more than once for outbound interface
how can i solve this problem? can i force this step?
i thought to create a different idoc type or create the 2 idoc in same mapping , but there is not my favourite solution because in case of error , both idoc will be not created.
any suggestion?

Hi,
Instead of exporting and changing the occurrence as suggested by Ravi,
use the same Idoc twice in mapping as well as Interface mapping.
Coming to ID part, do every thing as usual.
The only thing to note is instead of using normal Interface determination, use extended Interface Determination.
This will solve your problem. The error will not come again. I'm sure.

Missing Inbound Interface under Edit Service for Business System

Hello All,
I have to configure a Scenario at Integration Directory. Import from IR already done.
When i try to configure a Service under Party\Service\Business System I am not able to find the special IDoc type (here) PROJECT:PROJECT01 under register card "Receiver" (Inbound Interfaces) for the SLD defined Business System.
How can i add the IDoc type here?

please let me explain more in detail. All answer not really facing my problem.
At Integration Directory i want to create a Business System Service for a external incoming connection.
When i try to create under the Scenario e.g. "IS_WBSElements" the Service " BTS_Partner" under \Party\<partern>\Service\Business System\ at Display Service i couldn't find the IDoc Type PROJECT.PROJECT01. This will displayed at Display Services under Point Business System "Receiver" card (Inbound Interfaces"). There is a list of some Inbound Interfaces displayed with column Name, Namespace and Software Component Version.
When try to add a different Business System under Party\Service e.g. BTS_CCM i get much more Inbound Interfaces displayed incl. PROJECT.PROJECT01.
Perhaps there is a relation between Inbound Interface and the Business System?!

Hi, I have configured everything as it should be in XI and I get the message into sxmb_moni but it is redflaged and the error message is "Unable to find inbound interface". I have the Inbound message in Interface Mapping so I don't know what the problem is...do you?

But I have like 20 different solutions...how can I in the testconfiguration specify which solution I want to test? is that possible? - See for one sender system and one sender interface you can have only one reciver determination, in that you can add as many recivers as you want........but still the configuration test tool can be invoked by just specifying your sender system and sender interface and if you keep receiver system blank, then it will be executed for all reciver systems.............then you can see for which scenario it is erroring.

XML message error "No inbound interface found "

I have inbound file adapter and mine is standalone XI box,
and idoc outbound adapter, when i start the file adapter im getting the folloing error message in SXMB_MONI .
Error when determining inbound interface. No inbound interface found for sender XI1 and outbound interface FILE2IDOC.FILEINBOUND

The message is telling you the exact problem - you do not have a receiver identification configured in the Integration Directory for this combination of inbound interface, namespace, and business system. Make sure your file adapter is configured to send with the correct outbound interface/interface namespace.

LIS inbound interface

im upgrading from 4.6 to ecc 6. then having this dump that ZZLIS001-SPTAG is unknown.
CONCATENATE ZZLIS001-SPTAG(6) '01' INTO L_FECHAS-LOW.
in ecc6 if i double click that field i will be directed to a structure.
but in v4.6 i will be directed to a include FMCVFUSR and ZZLIS001 will be declared as a workarea.

i cannot just edit the include and declare it to fix my problem because it forbidden by SAP.
i guess the only way is to let LIS-Inbound interface to genarate it again... how? what is lis inbound interface? do you have any ideas?

1. Check the Inbound message payload in sxmb_moni.
2. If your payload is invalid, it wont be displayed in moni. So check the msg content in RWB- Message Monitoring.
3. Let me know if you are using condition in the Reciever Determination.

LIS inbound interface & mystics

Hi All! Can anybody explain me what is matter? I was creating LIS inbound interface. The system suggested me event and function group. I generated the interface and pointed out the place for saving in request - personal Z-package. Function module was created too. I could find my new function group through SE84. However when I tried to look own package through SE80, I didn't see new group in it. Whole day I struggled against the problem but all my efforts were without result. And I was very surprised when 3 days later the new function group suddenly appeared in my z-package.
Can anybody explain me what is matter? What is reason 3-day lag?

This has nothing to do with LIS or even SD. Check with your Basis admin. Maybe there was something wrong with the object directory entry of the function group or with the package. Normally Basis creates the packages and makes sure they have all the right settings. It is possible that your Basis admin ran something within those 3 days that adjusted the object directory.
Also sometimes there are just plain glitches in SE80. Most of the time log off / log on helps.

How to connect to third party using PI for outbound and inbound interfaces

I have scenarios where I have data coming in from third party EDI subsystem and sent to SAP. And also from SAP to EDI subsystem. We need to send the XMLs to the EDI subsystema nd also receive XMLs.
Can someone please suggest the ways I can connect to EDI subsytem for both Outbound and Inbound interfaces.

Hi Prabhu,
EDI file is different from the normal flat or xml file. Hope you understand the difference.
Now if your EDI subsytem has the capability of converting the xml file to edi file viceversa then create and receive the xml file from the EDI subsystem. For the xml file you may use the file adapter as an option.
If it doesnot have the capability then seeburger adapter needs to be used. This is not an inbuilt adapter. So your company needs to purchase it.

Currently I'm working on a scenario wherein an invoice file is generated and created on FTP server, PI system picks up invoice (xml file) and sends to customer via EDI 810. The scenario failed in sxmb_moni and below is the error message.

Hi Abdul,
Try to run the scenario in the ID.
There is one test tool to in directory for this, login to ID --> go to Tools --> Test configuration.
This will show you the error in the exact step.
