Inbound purchase order Acknowledgement for E-commerce Gateway

Hello All,
I am configuring EC gateway on 12.1 for PO. Am ok with the OUTBOUND but to my suprise I cannot find any process for inbound acknowlegdement from vendors. i.e after the PO has been sent out and he vendor acknowlegdes how do we relect that in Oracle through E-commerce gateway? If it not avalable what is the best way to go about it? Your feedback will be highly appriciated. Thanks in advance

  • Do we not send Purchase order acknowledgement IDoc for order cancellation?

    Hi all,
Is there a way to NOT send a Purchase order acknowledgement IDoc (POA) when we process an IDoc to cancel the order (or cancel all items)? The system now sends POA whenever there is a order create or order change (including cancellation) IDoc coming in but my customer wants not to receive POA in case of order cancellation.
    Thanks,
    Charles.

    Hi,
Please give me your opinion and if we do not send the order response in case of order cancellation then please tell me how should I configure for that.
    Thanks,
    Charles.

  • Purchase Order Acknowledgement to EBP ( SRM 3.0 ) - Error

When we try to post purchase order acknowledge / response to EBP ( SRM 3.0 ) from XI, we are getting the following error. Please suggest how can we overcome this issue.
    <b>Error : Status - 50 : Status set to 50 during IDOC inbound processing ( IDOC Added )</b>
    =============
    Idoc Type - ORDERS05
    System - SRM 3.0
    System Id - EBD (Development)
    Message Type - ORDRSP
    Process Code - ME01 - ME_ORDRSP (Order Acknowledgment)
Requirement : Post the Purchase Order acknowledgment idoc into EBP ( SRM 3.0 ), source file is from Non R/3 system, XI maps the external file as standard idoc format ORDERS05.
Able to send the IDOC file to EBP system successfully. We are unable to process the inbound ORDRSP Idoc in EBP, but we are getting the following error message.
Error : Status - 50 : Status set to 50 during IDOC inbound processing ( IDOC Added )
Please how to overcome this issue or provide me the valid approch to overcome this issue.
    Thanks,
    Giri

    Hi Giri,
you made a mistake in your target format.
ORDERS05/ORDRSP Idoc type is used in R/3, not in SRM.
Depending on your scenario (PO in SRM or in R/3), you will send back the PO Response to SRM or R/3.
    - in R/3 use IDOC ORDRSP
    - in SRM use FM BBP_BC_POACKNOWLEDGMENT_ADD or similar (Look at provided SRM XI content, you will find the correct entry point in SRM.)

  • Deviating Purchase Order Acknowledgements lead to automatic Purchase Order Change

    Hello together,
the ByDesign standard process creates a changed purchase order when a purchase order acknowledgement with deviation is created. This changed purchase order is automatically sent to the supplier. Either per mail, edi/xml, fax or print as configured in the communication with the supplier.
As discussed with SAP there is no possibility to suppress this. Do you have any ideas how to switch off this functionality?
    Best regards,
    Constantin

    Hi Babu,
thank's for your reply. In this case it's an subsidiary scenario and the supplier is the subsidiarys' headquarter. The sending of the updated purchase orders leads to an overhead at the headquarter's side. They have an "gentleman agreement" that deviating purchase order acknowledgements are accepted by the subsidiary if they don't appeal.
    Best regards,
    Constantin

  • How sales order is created from inbound purchase order?

    Hi experts,
My doubt is how a sales order is created when a customer sends a purchase order through EDI.
My doubt really starts here.. (how the Idoc is posted).
Case 1 : Just the process code is checked and corresponding function module is called and in background a sales order is created. (Or the below process)
Case 2 : The process code will point to a workflow where an authorized person will enter some more additional data's and save the document.
And also how pricing procedure, material determination, material substitution will take place/ works if we post a inbound purchase order into sales order since we need a human intervention for selecting the material in material determination etc..
can u people clearly explain how the process takes place in real time ...
    with regards,
    James..
    Valuable answers will be rewarded..

    Hi James;
Let me try to explain with an example...Let us say u r placing an Order (Purchase order) online in a website. So you will fill in the necessary details in terms of your address, you would choose a product and etc...
Now, this is converted into a file and sent to SAP. SAP will inturn convert this file into an Idoc based on the input, the FM is called and the data is filled. At this point in time the status of the idoc would be 50. Now an validation happens and the idoc is pushed to status 64. Now there is a progrma RBDAPP01 is the which will do the actual processing, meaning converting the Idoc into an Order. If the idoc fails to convert then a workflow is created.
When the Idoc is processed it will actually go through VA01 txn and it would typically do everything that we do when we enter a order manually. Automation is the only difference.
Idoc is just data and this data as and when entered is processed and the necessary information is obtained. Meaning, when the Material is fed, the MM aspect of SAP kicks in and provides the necessary data, similarly the Pricing procedure is determined based on the parameters.
In effect all the information is stored in SAP and are kicked in as and when they are called for.
Hope you get an overview of this.
    Regards,
    Mani.

  • Purchase order number for each postings with FBL3N

    Hello
With tcode FBL3N, I need to get all the postings on expenses accounts. Additionally it is possible to get more information on the postings from the orginal paper invoice. It shall be also more convenient to get the purchase order number walk trhough SAP with it. Then is it possible to get the purchase order number for each postings with FBL3N?
    thanks for inputs
    sb

    Hello,
Could you please add field BSEG-EBELN as a special field in FBL3N (from
menu path Settings -> Special fields).
Then, select the Purchase order field again from "Change Layout"
(Ctrl+F8). Now this field is available for display variants, it has the
technical name 1-U_EBELN and the description 'Purchase Document'.
The other field has the same description but as technical name
'1-EBELN'. When you create a display variant be aware that you select
    1-U_EBELN and not 1-EBELN.
*******Please also refer to attached notes 215798 and 984305.

  • There is still a purchase order commitment for WBS

    Hi All,
We need to close  whole project while closing I am getting the attached error.
There is still a purchase order commitment for WBS
Additional Information or Comments: = I have checked and closed all purchases order commitment. But still the project shows the below error     .
Edited by: nandhasapfi on Sep 22, 2011 10:52 AM

    Hello,
This message is being output correctly as the AuC still has
    values against it.
These values must be cleared before you can close the WBS element.
Please do a FUL settlement against the WBS element to clear
these values and then try to set the CLSD status again.
There are two ways to 'clean' the AuC, so that you can deactivate it
      and close the wbs element:
      1. Post a manual retirement of the AuC to clean it.
      2. Create a new AuC and use it for all the differences in the final
         settlement.
    I hope this helps,
    regards
    Ray

When you run the program, the system displays the following basic list with a the page header defined in the program:
You can trigger the AT LINE-SELECTION event by double-clicking a line. The system sets the status TEST and deactivates the function code PICK. The status TEST contains function codes FC1 to FC5. These are assigned to pushbuttons in the application toolbar. The page header of the detail list depends on the status.
Here, double-clicking a line no longer triggers an event. However, there is now an application toolbar containing five user-defined pushbuttons. You can use these to trigger the AT USER-COMMAND event. The CASE statement contains a different reaction for each pushbutton.
For each interactive event, the system decreases the SY-LSIND system field by one, thus canceling out the automatic increase. All detail lists now have the same level as the basic list and thus overwrite it. While the detail list is being created, SY-LSIND still has the value 1.

  • Restrict print out of Purchase order only for Production system

    Hi,
I want to restrict print out of Purchase order only for Production system, don't want to take it in devep or quality.
is there any identifier to find the system is production or development.
can anyone tell me how to restrict it,
is there any function module, not based on client system.
    Thanx in advance
    Kesav

    Hi Kesavarathinam Vaidyalingam ,
yes, I also use thomas' suggestion using
    t000-cccategory = 'P'.
    to determine productive client.
Just one small hint: I found this condition as true in a test system: The admin had done a system copy to create a fresh test client - but forgot (or did not see a good reason) to change t000-cccategory = 'P. to  t000-cccategory = 'T'.

  • How to see the customer purchase order acknowledgement ?

How to see the customer purchase order acknowledgement ?
in that PO ACK where we see the UOM and Qty ?
    thanks & regards,
    Srikanth.

    hi
Customer Purchase Order is nothing but the Sales Order in your system
Customer Po acknowledgement is nothing but the Acknowledgement that is sent out (output type BA00) to the Customer after the Sales Order has been created.
Note: Purchase is to Customer - Sales is to you as the Vendor.
    cheers

  • Purchase order approvals for Negative amount

    Hello All,
Want your assistance on the above mentioned topic.
We have a business requirement to have Purchase order approvals for Negative amount. I understand from the Below SAR that JD Edwards 9.1  doesn't support PO approvals on Negative amount
Bug 11022294 : APPROVAL ROUTES FOR DEBIT MEMO - SAR: 8940968
Appreciate if you can suggest best practice or workaround to meet this requirement.
    Thanks & Regards
    Nikhil M. Pawar.

    Dear Ashutosh,
Couple of points from my side. We have a similar scenario at a client where I am working. In construction, there are three stages.
    a) Practical Completion
    b) Partial Completion and
    c) Final Completion.
In the case above, you are not deducting an amount from existing PO, you would be applying a penalty on the Vendor for Failure for not meeting the Practical/Final Completion Certificate requirements. Based on the legal understanding, usually the penalty may vary above and beyond of 10% of value of work not done/ delivered. (This is company to company)
So we establish that the scenario above is not a case for PO, but for Penalty. Now penalty in construction business again is of three types (My understanding again from experiences)
    a) Time/Schedule based penalty - Levied on vendor due to delays (Ranging for 100 SAR/ Day to 400 SAR/Day - if you are in Saudi)
    b) Cost/ Quantity Based penalty - Deviation from Standard Plan/ over consumption against budgeted quantity in Bill of Ladding
    c) KPI/ Quality Based Penalty - This can be a levied for number for reasons, including non completion of agreed deliverable in Contract. (This can be even 150% of contract value)
Now, penalty is a revenue to the Organization so this needs to be accounted differently. You apply a Penalty against a PO and create a Debit memo and show the penalty as revenue in the books. This cannot be done if this is entered as a PO.
So, my point is, you need a customization to capture the penalty and apply it against the PO and account it as a debit memo in Finance side.
Please let me know your thoughts, I will be glad to hear if I need to be corrected.
    Rgds,
    Abhi

    hi,
the first option is the right one. the FM invoked makes a direct input, so all the functionalities in S.O. are the standard one in the same way as if you are making it manually.
Also you can have some exits in the Idoc FM, so you can manipulate data there before loading the sales order.
    pls. reward if helpful
