1. Make your iMessage settings.
2. Change your friends phone number on contacts property of iPhone(not work, home, mobile). if you know his icloud account you can use this too.
3. Use iMessage while messagging with him.
When you open chat with him in sms menu there writes iMessage. and messages shows color of blue.

I am trying to delete an XLS file from a network drive and am getting a message that says the file cannot be deleted because it is in use. I can't see where it is in use and have tried to reboot the computer to no avail.

You said it was a network drive. So is someone else on the network using that same file or may have have left with excel still accessing it on their system?

Email Titles without bodies that cannot be deleted

On my Mail I have a folder under "On My Mac" that has three email messages. The problem with these emails is the following:
1. I cannot see the body of the message... it shows blank.
2. I cannot even delete these emails... it just turns gray but never deleted. And once I restart Mail it turns back to black.
None of these three emails has attachments, HTML or can have viruses as they are invoices from three different software companies for Emailchemy, SyncMate and 1Password.
What shall I do?

Usually this condition and resolution means the messages had actually meant to be deleted (or moved to another mailbox), but the list of messages still contained a flawed reference. Rebuild would not cause the loss of actual messages still present in the mailbox folder, btw.

HT1430 I can't delete 2 email messages. All others delete properly, however 2 will not delete no matter what I try. A pop up message comes up and says "cannot not delete"

I can't delete 2 email messages that I received on the same day from one of my email accts. I have **** down the device and reset the device with no resolution to the problem. I can forward these two messages to our other acct and it will delete from there but returns to my personal email again, repeatedly. Just downloaded the latest version of iTunes - iTunes 11.1.0.126. Even though I was already subscribed to all of my podcasts, there was a new Subscribe button next to each one. So, I clicked them. Now, every podcast in my list view is populated by every old episode ever published by that podcast. Worse, they cannot be deleted using my Delete key. Next to each old podcast is a cloud download symbol. My list view is now completely cluttered, making them extraordinarily long to scroll down through. I found my own solution to this one after many more hours of frustration. I found that there was a toolbar applet installed in Internet Explorer that started its own private JVM, and that JVM was being seen by the plugin code for 1.3.1_07. Apparently there was some conflict between what the plugin code expected and what that private JVM (not sure what version it was, the code had no mention of it) had to offer, which caused the crash dialog. Uninstalling the toolbar (and its parent application) solved the problem. I may do further testing to see if there are any plugin versions that do work with this particular applet.
It is also still a mystery why this problem only cropped up after installing and uninstalling 1.4.x version of the plugin, but I didn't keep close track of the whole sequence so it may have been coincidental.

System crash has created an empty clip that cannot be deleted

During a 'Share' my system froze and I had to crash it (there were other processes running). The issue remaining for FCPX is that I now have a clip with the yellow triangle, and the date reads 'No Data'. Selecting this clip gives the 'missing clip' red screen. However, I cannot move this to the trash or relink it, and this means I cannot remove the yellow triangle in the Event.
Anybody know how I remove this?
All software is up to date.

When I select the clip and alt-click, the option to relink is greyed-out. If I select 'move to trash', nothing happens.

AS2 error The FILE send adapter cannot open file

I have AS2 setup under biztalk. I have receive port which listen to HTTP adapter and keep listening on web site.Then there is corresponding send port which just write that file in folder . Send port just have filter for Receive adapter name.
It works fine, but some time I get error message

Details: The system cannot find the path specified.
I am not able to understand what is error for this? Please help me to figure-out this.

Specifying the Backup transport is not going to solve the problem. Specifying the backup transport in this case is something like addressing the symptom of the issue and not finding the solution to root cause of the issue.
As you specified, if the mentioned error only happens some time but not always. In this case, the message "The
FILE send adapter cannot open file <folder name\guid.txt > for writing." would just be a warning message. Just by setting the retry in the send port will solve the issue. i..e Since this issue occurs rarely, it may be short lived glitch.
So by setting the retry count (lets say 3 times) with retry interval (let say 5 mins), this issue can be easily mitigated. You would not lose the message. So during the glitch you would get this message as warning, send port will retry "after specified
retry interval so after 5 mins", so by that time chances of files transfer is high. So this problem can be easily handled just by having retry count and retry interval in send port.
But you need to find the actual cause for this issue or you need to find the permanent resolution for this issue.

I am trying to delete an line item from Sales Order BOM through BOMORD01 Idoc. When I process an IDoc, I am getting a message "Local item 0010 L cannot be deleted via ALE" in log (SLG1). Could you please tell me how to correct this error?

When sending from one mac email account to another email account on the mac it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appears in the mac inbox.
When sending from a mac account to the pc, it seems to send fine, and it moves to the sent items, but nothing appear in the PC inbox.
When sending a massage from the PC to my mac email, it send fine from the PC and arrives in the inbox on the mac.
mac to mac - seems to send but dosent arrive
mac to pc - seems to send but doesnt arrive
pc to mac - seems to send and arrives.
As i said it was all working fine yesterday and for four years previous to that, but now it has just stopped.

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

inbox has disappeared and I cannot send emails. I have deleted my account and set it up again. Called time warner, they tried their best to help me. It just would not send emails and they told me its an apple issue.

When I send a message to blueyonder the system says the message has been sent yet the recipient cannot find it in his emails or on the server.

I compose a message and press send. The system states that it connecting and then that the message has been sent. When the recipient looks for the message on his system and/or the server he cannot find the message. I have sent him messages direct from my server and also Outlook Express and he does get them it is only when using Thunderbird do the messages go missing. Do I have to use special settings to send messages to Blueyonder?

I'd suggest you contact your email provider. Similar problems have been reported from Virgin users.
