INCFL Flag in SID table is missing for hierarchy leaf Error

Hello:
We are having issues with 0mat_sales hierarchy.
The RSRV check on individual hierarchy for 0mat_sales is giving multiple following error message.
u201CINCFL Flag in SID table is missing for hierarchy leaf 560135 with sid 560135u201D.
RSRV correct error functionality Is not rectifying the error.
Did anyone have similar issues previously? We have recently upgraded to 7.3 version.

Do i have to change something in the database?

SID table missing

Can you, please, summarize the cases when the S table is missing for an InfoObject that is not attribute only?

Hi,
I am a lil confused about your query but trying to answer what i understood roughly.
If you are looking at the SID table in the general tab, then every infoobject will have a SID table even though it is only an attribute.
Here thte objects which are created with reference will have the SID table of the refrenced infoobject, so in a way you can say that the reference infoobjects do not have SID table of their own but they are linked to the SID table of the referenced infoobjects.
Now if you are talking of the SID table in the master data/text tab, then the SID table in here of the SID of the navigational infoobjects, so unless and until you have navigational attributes in the master object you wont have any SID table in the master tab.
Hope i am talking to the point of yours. If not then please correct me.

Can we delete a single row in SID table?

I am having a problem with conversion exit in SID table.
These are the error messages.
Value in SID table is TPV; correct value is TPV; SID in SID table is 875
Message no. RSRV200
Diagnosis
The following data record either has an incorrect internal format or the characteristic value that is in the correct format appears as a corrected value of another incorrect value:
·     Characteristic value: TPV
·     SID: 875
·     Correct characteristic value: (see below) TPV
·     SID after correction: 875

Procedure :
RSA1>>>InfoObjects >>Right Click on InfoObject >>delete Master Data >> u can see the option of deleting SIDs............
Otherwise........u can delete value from a SID table......u can use tcode SE14...........to delete the entries.........
Check this......
deleting contents of SID table.
But still I will suggest u not to delete SID...........it may lead to inconsistency of data.........
Try to repair SId using the program : RSDMD_CHECKPRG_ALL or RSRV...........

No records in SID table for 0matl_group

After loading new data for 0matl_group the records doesn't appear in the SID table, we decided to check and fix it with RSRV transaction, the records now appear in the SID table but all the flags are unchecked as result of this only texts for 0material are loaded not attributes.

I had this problem too. There seems to be a bug that sometimes doesn't add SIDs when only texts are loaded. If you have a reproduceable example you should open an OSS message. And if SAP supplies a fix and you'll find the time to send me the notes number I'd be really glad.

My question here is, i dont understand, how the SID tables or the master data tables or ODS tables get effected with this flag. Can some one explain me what kind of changes in the tables takes place with this flag setting and how it is used in the reporting.. How this thing is different with respect to Cube reporting process.. I do understand that ODS doesnt have Dimensions.. so i am just looking for conceptual clarification and not any forum links related to the Bex falg.. i have already gone through many links in the forum, but they didnt help me to clarify this process at table level which i am looking for... ANy help will be highly appreciated in SDN way..

Thanks Durgesh but I have tried every master data test in RSRV. I think because these document number characteristics don't have master data tables most of the tests return a message that the test does not apply to the characteristic. These characteristics only have a sid table.

A typical dimension table looks like this

The Fact tables contain a Dim ID (excpet for line item dims), which is used to join to the Dim table. The Dim table contains SIDs for the chars values in that Dim. The Dim table is then joined to the SID table, which is then joined to the attribute table.
For ODS - the /BI0/S***** SID tables have indexes on both the SID and the chars actual value. ODS queries will join to the SID table using the actual char value.
Here's the SQL for a typical ODS query that you can see how the ODS table joins to the SID tables:

Can anybody please tell me significance of the following fields in S Table.

Hi Deepon,
You can refer to the documentation of the data elements RSDCHCKFL, RSDDATAFL and RSDINCFL.
Also you should not be inserting any entry in the SID table. Whenver the master data is loaded for that info-object the SIDs would be generated by the system.

Table prmter E_T_DATA for extract missing & TYPE-POOL "RSAZT" is unknown

I have created generic extraction, the name of the FM is ZRSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_CRASS.
I have set parameter table E_T_DATA like this in Tables tab
E_T_DATA LIKE ZRPS_CRASS
Then I set transaction data extraction using tcode RSO2 using FM ZRSAX_BIW_GET_DATA_CRASS and structure ZRPS_CRASS, name the datasource : Z_COPA_CRASS
I have run rsa3 and get 563 data using this datasource (Z_COPA_CRASS) at the development system
But why when I transport this into QA and Production, I get these following error on transport log:
1 Table parameter E_T_DATA for extractor missing
2 TYPE-POOL 'RSAZT' is unknown (check using tcode se38, program name : SAPLZRSAX, include : LZRSAXTOP)
For no 1:
Why this error happen?I have set E_T_DATA to extraction structure correctly...I think...
For no 2:
When i check my development system, this type pool exist but when i check in production system, the type pool doesn't exist.
Anyone can solve my problem?Thank you.

Hi Satria,
Go to SE37 -> give the FM name (dont click on display/change) -> on the menu bar -> Click on Go To -> Function groups -> Change Groups -> Get the Function group name. -> Just edit the Function Group description so that the Function group get collected in the TR. Also in the same window go to MAin program -> just reactivate and collect them in the TR.
The whole function group will be collected. Apart from these, also collect the Structure, Datasource and import it again.
This problem arised many times for me, i have re transported the function group and things used to work properly once the Trasnporting the Function group is successful

Adjusting the SID table for master data infoobject

Im trying to activate one master data infoobject. But it says the error like below
The SID Table /BI0/SBBP_DELREF must be converted incompatibly with an activation of characteristic 0BBP_DELREF (changes to the key in the table). Table /BI0/SBBP_DELREF contains data. Parts of this data were lost in the conversion.
or
Undo the changes that led to the incompatible conversion (the changes in the key) or delete all data from table /BI0/SBBP_DELREF.
So how can i adjust the SID table for this .

Hi,
you'll have to delete ALL the master data for this IObj. Therfore you'll have to
delete all data in ALL the IObjs using 0BBP_DELREF (ODS, CUbes and characteristics).
Then activate your IObj. You will go through some step which I explained in the
following thread

Extract:
1. Delete 0COMP_CODE master data.
- get objects list using 0COMP_CODE with loaded data: I suggest to delete
master data via AWB (right click the characteristic). If it can't be deleted because
it is used display the deletion log (via AWB or tx SLG1 / RSDMD, MD_DEL).
- delete loaded data for the list above.
This should not be too much since you are in DEV.
2. change 0COMP_CODE length
- change the length to 4;
*- Activate your IObj. You'll get a popup log, validate. Activate despite warning and
errors. You will get An error message, validate.
You should get an horizontal pane with the activation log. Read it for your personal culture but if you don't have time then don't...
- Next the system will prompt to convert the tables: answer YES. The system will ask to schedule the table conv. in the background, go4it.
- next is the SE14 screen for the P table: Hit Activate and adjust (Direct
execution, or in the back as you wish). Answer yes to the mass processing
question and yes (again) for request adjust online. Your table should be converted successfully.
- go back twice from this screen (leaving SE14 tx and return to RSD1). reread the update log if you wish.
- repeat from the *- above... it will perform the very same for all other P tables of IObj using 0COMP_CODE and the 0COMP_CODE S table.
Your IObj is reactivated again. So should your ODS/DSO objects (check activate for example). Cube didn't need to convert tables since the MDID is note posted in any table of a cube.
Please note that once your IObj is in revised version you can perform the same via the menu extras / database table / convert all (see my previous post).
Now you have to evaluate the task. Of course that is a work to fix the mistake.
Depending on when it has be changed it may be worth to restore your DEV sys with a backup (loose work performed from the backup until now).

RSDU_UTIL_ORA/FORM TRUNCATE_TABLE for SID table deletion error.

hai friends iam facing the error when deleting the SID table of my custom infoobject "RSDU_UTIL_ORA/FORM TRUNCATE_TABLE"
its throwing the following error not allowing me to create or change with the same name .
I have deleted the data from all other related targets .Basically trying to change the technical length but sid table is not getting deleted for some reason .In rsrv checked throwed number range error solved in snum but still couldnt delete from SID table.

all these objects exists only in the transaction data not as a master data....
We have created the infoset based on 2 ods and created the report for only one condition we are not getting the value but for rest of the values for the same info object we donot ahve any problme..
Eg: e ODS has ref key for 10,20,30 its working fine where as for 40 its showing the error and the report is unabel to display the data..
hence we went and checked the ODS in RSRV their we got the error with missing doument number in infoobject (which is not master data) were as it exist in ODS with zero SID...

How to use the table maintenance events for validating the input entries..?

I have created a Z table with 6 fields in which all are KEY fields. All are of CHAR type. I have created the Table Maintenance Generator for the same. While maintaining the entries in the table, even though I maintain a blank entry for a field it is saving the entry. But, I don't want that way. All the fields are mandatory in my table. One should enter all the fields. Otherwise it should not allow to save the entry. So, I think it can be done using the Table Maintenance Events. can someone tell me how to use the Table Maintenance Events. and which event to use for my reuqirement and what is the logic to be written.
Or Is there any other way to solve my problem.

In the table maintenance generator, Environment --> Modifications --> Events then a screen will be appear here,we need to create the Events.In the EVENTS screen, press new Entries, there give 01(Before Saving the Data in the Database) and give a name(This will become a PERFORM), then click the Editor pushbutton, this will be there at the right side of the entry, then a popup will be appear, you can create an include program, there inside of the include program write ur code.
