INCI codes and CAS-numbers in EH&S

Hello,
This is probably very basic question.
I'd like to know how to implement the following requirement:
I have a material XXX, three INCI codes A, B, and C. In addition, there are three CAS-numbers.
I want to create a kind of a BOM in EH&S for my material with the INCI codes:
Material XXX consists of:
INCI A 20 % (and CAS number A1 20%)
INCI B 70 % (and CAS number B1 70%)
INCI C 10 % (and CAS number B1 10%).
I'm not familiar with EH&S but I carried out some testing and found out that I can link the material with the "real substance"? I think I need to create one substance for each INCI code which makes a bit annoying. The point is that when you insert your "BOM" for the new material you can easily pick up the existing INCIs - not having to write them all over again.
I couldn't find anywhere place for the percentages! We need them for calculations elsewhere. I read SAP documentation but couldn't find anything there either.
Thanks for the help.
Regards,
Pipsa

Hi Pipsa,
If you want to do it manually:
According to the standard EH&S data model you should create new specifications in transaction CG02 with specification type PURE_SUB. The CAS number you should enter on the identifier tab page (NUM/CAS). You should also enter the INCI code on this tab, but I am not sure if the INCI code is part of the EH&S standard identifier, so maybe you have to customize it.
For your material XXX you should create a REAL_SUB (for real existing substances in the material master). Create some unseful identifier (like NAM/MAT for material name) and assign the material number on the material assignment tab.
Now jump to the property tree and look for the right composition (for example Standard Composition) to mantain your BOM (which is called BOS - Bill of Substances - in EH&S).
Enter the 3 PURE_SUBs that you created before with the percentages.
Hope it helps,
Andreas

  • I keep getting calls from non existing area codes and phone numbers.  They are never the same number twice.  How do I stop this?

About a week ago I started getting phone calls on my cell phone from numbers that do not exist, including the area codes.  I can not report these to the Do Not Call list because the area code is non existent.  I'm getting these calls all the time now and never from the same number twice so there's no point in blocking them.  If I answer I may or may not get a person who has an accent from India so heavy that I can't understand what they are saying.  This is getting to the point where I just want to cry I'm so frustrated.  Anyone else having this issue or does anyone know how to stop it?
    Thank you

I'm sorry that you are having all these troubles. I have sent you a private message.

  • Apple Care - You need to specify what "case" and "dispatch" numbers are

Judgeing by the number of people asking this, Apple is really failing its users. When trying to track a repair the webpage requests "case, dispatch, zipcode, serial" numbers. What a load of crap. All we have is a tracking number from UPS and an Apple reference number. I sent my ipod off so how will I know the serial number and I'm not planning to move to America so I'll never have a zip code.
    Rubbish customer service.
    Does anyone have any advice?

your dispatch and case #'s can be found just by logging on with your ID and password, and when you do LOGIN, your information (case & dispatch) should be on the top of your screen. This is GUARANTEED to WORK.

Please don't post case numbers or other personal information here. None of us here (who will respond, anyway) work for Apple; we're all just fellow users.
Anyway, as regards the security code issue, this may help:

and as regards the balance, first make sure you didn't make any in-app purchases. Many "free" apps, particularly games, have additional levels or features that cost money. Check your purchase history in your iTunes Store account and see what you're being charged for.

Good Morning.  I'm having a problem using both my Photoshop elements and premiere programs.  I've installed the programs, redeemed my code and entered the serial numbers, and created the adobe log-in.  I am able to open up the organizer without problems, but when I try to open up the photo editor (either by trying to open up the program from the main menu, or right-clicking on a photo in the organizer to edit in elements), the program asks me to sign in to adobe (which I can do and it doesn't give an an "incorrect password" or log-in ID error) then accept the terms and conditions.  When I click to accept the terms and conditions, nothing happens and the editor fails to open.  Everytime I click on the program, I get this same "loop" of signing in and accepting T&C's, but the program fails to open.  Any advice?

Take a look at your scratch disk set-up and if you have a spare volume, allocate that first before the C drive. Elements use scratch disks when it gets low on RAM.

  • Case created without business partner, reason code and  result code

In our CRM system, some cases was created without business partner, reason code and result code.
We created some customer functions to make these fields as mandatory, it always work for our technique people and process expert, but it didn't work for some users occasionally. We cannot debug it.
Can anyone tell me why and how to solve it?
    Please help me !
    Regards,
    Shirley

    Hello Shirley,
Well, then I would check the code, which calls your custom function modules.
It may be possible, that you have an IF in the 'Main' program, which makes it possible to skip the custom FM for these users.
The reason I am assuming this, is that normally you need just to change attributes for a field to make it mandatory, or customizing like SHD0 makes this possible. If you use custom FM, you have to call them somewhere and this is the point I would be looking for.
Check the traces for the users and you should find, that the custom FM are not called for them.
    My opinion, of course
    Award points if this helps.

Yes, ignoring a message like that was wise.

    Hello Babyygrl23,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like your iCloud Apple ID has a phone number associated with it that you would like to update. If this is the case, after signing in to the linked website below, you will see a section on the left side of the screen labeled Phone Numbers. You can edit the phone number associated with that account from there.

  • HELP! hp laserjet prints code and infinite blank pages!

    hey guys,
ive got an early 2009 imac with 2.66ghz intel core 2 duo and 8gb ram,
im running latest mavericks and trying to use a hp laserjet 1320tn printer.
    PROBLEM:
when i press print i get one page with a line of code and then infinite blank pages untill i hold cancel.
the line of code is :
    %! PS-Adobe-3.0
                                %APL_DSC_Encoding:   UTF8
                                                                                   %APLProducer: (Version 10.9.2  (Build 13c6
here are some things that i have tried:
    * checked toner - 46% full
    * using the printer set up on a network (unshared)
    * using the printer via usb
    * reseting printing system ( many times )
    * using latest drivers
    * using older drivers
    * using alternate drivers from HP
    * using a generic post script printer driver
    * repair / verify disk permisions ( many times )
    * (last resort) Clean install of osx mavericks with fresh hp updates
im fresh out of ideas guys
the printer has been checked with a windows laptop and it printed perfectly and immediately so its an issue with my mac
i dont really want to buy another printer as a need a small network duplex monochrome laserjet, and this is perfect ( except i cant get it to work !)
also i checked with the manufacturer and apple and this printer is supposedly supported.
    any help would be awesome!

OK here goes... (please take a deep breath)
I'm going to include TONS of details, hoping that something here might help you get to the answer.
If it's too much for your brain at whatever moment you get time to read all this, I do apologize.
Maybe come back later when they're sleeping and you're wide awake, if that is ever possible. I was a stay-at-home Dad for one precocious child for a few years, so I have a tiny idea what you're talking about, though our married friends with multiple (usually bickering) children always assured us that having just one child is nothing at all like having children. So bless you! My heart goes out to you!
Anyway, in Windows, there used to be a generic HPPCL driver and a generic PostScript driver for older printers. You could usually use a "generic" driver just fine, because very few programs (other than page layout and graphic design) used even 1/10th of the capabilities of the lowest-common-denominator oldest version PCL or PostScript command set. Something like that DOES exist in the Mavericks print installation dialogue.
    But back to YOUR printer.
I tried installing my HP LaserJet 1320 on my iMac running Mavericks*.
Unlike Windows, you can't install a printer that OS X Mavericks cannot 'see', either directly connected or via a network 'share', or wirelessly.
My HP is connected via a network share. This should not significantly change what happens when you install your printer, but no guarantees.
This was my first attempt to install the HP, because my default printer is a Canon inkjet, connected wirelessly via WiFi.
So the LaserJet is in another room physically connected via USB to a MacBook, and marked 'Share this printer' on the MacBook system preferences. The MacBook has to be awake (not sleeping) and in this case, physically connected for my iMac to 'see' it.
So, when I clicked the + sign in the , System Preferences, Printers & Scanners to add a new printer,
I entered the description HP LaserJet 1320 into the search box the first time, then
    1. Mavericks tried to "find" the HP LaserJet on the network, connected to the MacBook.
    2. "This printer requires software that is not installed..."
    3. "Downloading Printer Software Update..."
    4. "Setting up "HP LaserJet 1320 Series @ KoMtB (MacBook's network name)
    5. At that point the printer appeared in this Add window shown below:
Note the bottom Use: window below Location...
Note that the third choice is Generic PostScript Printer...
THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE AND THE ONLY TIME you can apparently select anything about which printer 'language' the Mac is going to use to talk to your printer:
In searching for about 10 minutes, I did not find any way to ever get BACK to this screen once the printer installation is complete, short of deleting and reinstalling the printer again, or adding the printer a second time with a different name.
I selected the choice highlighted, HP LaserJet 1320 series. I did a test print from TextEdit, and it worked perfectly the first time. I also tried it from Pages, and again, it worked perfectly, no spewing of PostScript initialization strings...
My suspicion is that maybe Generic PostScript Printer is getting selected by Mavericks somehow without ever informing the user.
Maybe 'Auto Select' does it. Don't know.
In any case, since you've already done a Printing System reset, you have nothing else (custom print job Presets) to lose by trying to reinstall it again.
I tried it, and It SHOULD also be possible to install the same printer multiple times, PROVIDED THAT you rename each one slightly during the Add process (HP-3200, HP-Auto Select, HP-Generic PostScript... ), so you can give several of them a try until you find one that actually works.
Now, here's how to find the 'generic' PCL printer driver...
Add the printer again, giving is a new name.
In Use: select "Select Software", then search for "HP LaserJet Series PCL 4/5"
HP LaserJet Series PCL 4/5 driver IS a 'generic' PCL driver, and SHOULD work for basic printing, provided that you DO NOT use the slash between 4/5 in the printer name use a dash - instead. When I tried it with a slash (probably because it was a network share, the printer did NOT install. When I tried again and used a dash, it worked fine.
The PCL 4/5 driver comes with a disclaimer as shown below:
Your HP is apparently from the year 2000? (Mine is from 2004.) It's so hard to give up old workhorse friends, especially when one toner costs almost a much as a new printer. The good news it that newer LaserJets are WAAAAAAY faster, and a toner for a new model still costs almost as much as a new printer...
After years of buying ONLY genuine HP toner, I finally purchased a generic toner cartridge online last year when I needed to print about 1500 pages. The high capacity generic refill cartridge cost 1/3 of price of a genuine HP 'standard capacity', and it works beautifully.
Of course this is time consuming, especially when you have active kiddos competing for your time, but the last alternative after Gutenprint is to purchase a new printer.
    *DISCLAIMERS & FOOTNOTES:
I don't use OS X Mavericks much, so I'm really not the best person to ask. But I did answer this thread ages ago.
So, if none of this helps, please post your question again as a brand new message in the OS X Mavericks forum.
That way it will likely get far more 'views' than posting your question in an old thread already marked 'solved'.
From what I've seen in the Apple Support Communities, those most knowledgable tireless Saints of Mac with tens of thousands of reputation points who frequent these forums most every day usually look for the 'unanswered' and 'unsolved' questions first.
Mostly I use OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, because that's what shipped already installed on my iMac that I purchased from Apple as a refurb in Dec 2013. And because 10.8 seemed more 'sorted out' than Mavericks did last December.
When I got my iMac last December, I immediately installed OS X 10.9 Mavericks on an external drive that I could select at boot time because:
    1) I could get Mavericks for free (wasn't sure if it would be a limited-time thing)
    2) Purchase of a new or refurb Mac then included a free iWorks suite (Numbers, Pages, Keynote) latest versions (wasn't sure if it would be a limited-time thing)
    3) I have Windows 7 installed under Parallels 9 on Mavericks to run basically one legacy Windows application I spent years learning and still use once or twice a year. Honestly, almost the only time I use Mavericks is to run Parallels 9 and Windows 7 and that legacy Windows app.
    4) My original Mac is a mid-2007 MacBook is still running OS X 10.6.8. That's what the HP printer is connected to. I now use the MacBook for email or when I need to take a computer somewhere else. My MacBook is not capable of being upgraded to run Mavericks, and I wanted to at least know about the current version of OS X, even if I NEVER upgraded my main system.

  • How do I use switch and case statements to fill more than one other field?

    Hi all,
    I'm new to the community.
I'm trying to make an existing form more user friendly for my coworkers. I want to use a switch and case approach in a drop-down list field so that the selection fills two seperate other fields with different info related to the selection.
I can already do this with one field, but if I add a second target field under an existing case the text doesn't appear there when I make the selection from the dropdown.
Basically, I'm asking if I can do this:
    switch
    (sNewSel){
       case "1": // Selection 1    Row2.Field1
    = "text for field 1";
        Row1.Field2 = "text for field 2";
        break;
    etc.
It works if the "row1.field2" option isn't there, but not when it is present.
    Any takers?

I'm not sure if I will be able to send you the form. There may be too much to redact.
Would this last bit of code in the cell affect anything?
    if
    (bEnableTextField)
    {Row2.Field1.access
    = "open"; // enable field
    Row2.Field1.caption.font.fill.color.value= "0,0,0"; // set caption to black
That is, do I also need to repeat the same thing for the second target cell (Row1.Field2)?
What would be possible hang ups that would prevent it from working correctly?
    Dave
By the way, I'm not sure if my other attachment posted. I am trying again.

  • Sample JAVA Mobile Server Publish code, and technical questions

Dear Oracle technical representative, or user:
I need to programmatically create, and remove publications using the pure JAVA classes of Consolidator, ConsolidatorManager, and ResourceManager for the Mobile Server in OracleLite 9i Release 5.0.1. On the creation side I have managed to get the example found in the directory OraLite501\Mobile\Server\Sample\Sample11 functioning using my installation parameters. I had a very difficult time of it because (1) the sample11 code fails to open an jdbc connection to the Mobile Server Repository Schema with the function Consolidator.OpenConnection, and (2) the ResourceManager function openConnection will not work unless the Webtogo.ora file is in the current working directory. The ConsolidatorManager function OpenConnection may also not work unless the Webtogo.ora file is in the current working directory, but I did test the hypothesis. Both of these problems need to be addressed in the sample11 code, and documentation to save other software developers from wasting hours of their valuable time. See line 223, 386, and 448 in the Publish.Java code that follows this problem description.
With the above two problems resolved, I can now programmatically create publications, but no hints on how to programmatically remove a publication exist in the documentation. The application I am developing will require the dynamic creation, and removal of publications. Also, when developing applications the complete removal of a publication is absolutely necessary when you have botched a publication. Thus my first question is What sequence of ResourceManager, and ConsolidatorManager function calls will completely remove a Publication?.
I also have two issues remaining with the code that I have so far developed. These issues will most likely be resolved, when I obtain instructions on how to completely remove a publication, and associated users. But, perhaps not. Referencing the Publish.java file that follows this problem description,
         1. The ResourceManager function dropUser does not drop a user. See my comments, and code beginning at line 277 in Publish.java. Do I need to de-instantiate all subscriptions, and unsubscribe all subscription users before calling this function.? I think, I tried the de-instantiate, unsubscribe sequence without success, but in the confusion I may not have made the try.
         2. How do I get rid of an index created with the ConsolidatorManager function DropPublicationItemIndex?. My comments on this problem begin at line 522 in Publish.java. For some reason the DropPublicationItemIndex function call made below line 448 does not work. What function calls are required prior to calling the DropPublicationItemIndex function?
Throughout the Publish.java code, I have made comments about some of the problems that I have had in getting the sample11 code working for my installation parameters. I think these comments should help the programmers maintaining the ResourceManager, and ConsolidatorManager code improve the stability of the programs. Please pass these comments, and attached files to the appropriate individuals,
if you are in a position to do so.
The other files that follow the Publish.java code are

         3. Webtogo.ora
         4. tnsnames.ora for the Mobile Server.
         5. tnsnames.ora for the Database.
Feel free to access my server if you need to do so in resolving my problems. The parameters you will need to gain access can be found at the top of Publish.java, and in the included *.ora files.

The other files that follow the Publish.java code are
         1. Compile.bat - Compiles Publish.java using j2sdk1.4.0.
         2. Run.bat - Executes Publish using \ j2sdk1.4.0\jre\server\jvm.dll.
         3. Webtogo.ora
         4. tnsnames.ora for the Mobile Server.
         5. tnsnames.ora for the Database.
Feel free to access my server if you need to do so in resolving my problems. The parameters you will need to gain access can be found at the top of Publish.java, and in the included *.ora files.

CASE STATEMENTS AND CASE EXPRESSIONS IN ORACLE9I PL/SQL
    =======================================================
    PURPOSE
아래의 자료는 Case 문에서 oracle 8.1.7과 Oracle 9i의 New Feature로 8.1.7에서는
sqlplus 에서만 가능했고, 9i 부터는 pl/sql 까지 가능하다.
    Explanation
    1. Oracle 8.1.7 Feature
    CASE WHEN <cond1> THEN <v1> WHEN <cond2> THEN <v2> ... [ELSE <vn+1> ] END
각각의 WHEN...THEN 절의 argument 는 255 까지 가능하고 이 Limit를 해결하려면
    Oracle 8i Reference를 참조하면 된다.
The maximum number of arguments in a CASE expression is 255, and each
WHEN ... THEN pair counts as two arguments. To avoid exceeding the limit of 128 choices,
you can nest CASE expressions. That is expr1 can itself be a CASE expression.
Case Example : 한 회사의 모든 종업원의 평균 봉급을 계산하는데 봉급이 $2000보다 작은경우
2000으로 계산을 하는 방법이 pl/sql을 대신하여 case function을 사용할 수 있다.
    SELECT AVG(CASE when e.sal > 2000 THEN e.sal ELSE 2000 end) FROM emp e;
Case Example : 나이를 column으로 가지고 있는 customer table을 예로 들어보자.
    SQL> SELECT
    2 SUM(CASE WHEN age BETWEEN 70 AND 79 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END) as "70-79",
    3 SUM(CASE WHEN age BETWEEN 80 AND 89 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END) as "80-89",
    4 SUM(CASE WHEN age BETWEEN 90 AND 99 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END) as "90-99",
    5 SUM(CASE WHEN age > 99 THEN 1 ELSE 0 END) as "100+"
    6 FROM customer;
    70-79 80-89 90-99 100+
    4 2 3 1
    1 SELECT
2 (CASE WHEN age BETWEEN 70 AND 79 THEN '70-79'
    3 WHEN age BETWEEN 80 and 89 THEN '80-89'
    4 WHEN age BETWEEN 90 and 99 THEN '90-99'
    5 WHEN age > 99 THEN '100+' END) as age_group,
    6 COUNT(*) as age_count
    7 FROM customer
    8 GROUP BY
9 (CASE WHEN age BETWEEN 70 AND 79 THEN '70-79'
    10 WHEN age BETWEEN 80 and 89 THEN '80-89'
    11 WHEN age BETWEEN 90 and 99 THEN '90-99'
    12* WHEN age > 99 THEN '100+' END)
    SQL> /
    AGE_G AGE_COUNT
    100+ 1
    70-79 4
    80-89 2
    90-99 3
    Example
    2. Oracle 9i Feature
    Sample 1:
A simple example demonstrating the proper syntax for a case
    statement
using a character variable as the selector. See the section entitled
'Restrictions' at the end of this article for details on which PLSQL
datatypes may appear as a selector in a case statement or
    expression.

NOTE: The above simple samples demonstrate two subtle differences in the
    syntax
required for case statements and expressions.
    1) A case STATEMENT is terminated using the 'end case' keywords; a
    case
EXPRESSION is terminated using only the 'end' keyword.
    2) Each item in a case STATEMENT consists of one or more
    statements, each
terminated by a semicolon. Each item in a case expression
    consists of
exactly one expression, not terminated by a semicolon.
    Sample 3:
Sample 1 demonstrates a simple case statement in which the selector
    is
compared for equality with each item in the case statement body.
    PL/SQL
also provides a 'searched' case statement as an alternative; rather
    than
providing a selector and a list of values, each item in the body of
    the
case statement provides its own predicate. This predicate can be any
valid boolean expression, but only one case will be selected.

    Sample 5:
This sample demonstrates the use of nested case statements. It is
    also
permissable to nest case expressions within a case statement (though
    it
is not demonstrated here), but nesting of case statements within a
    case
expression is not possible since statements do not return any value.

    case
expression. Note again the absence of semicolons to terminate both
    the
nested case expression and the individual cases of those
    expressions.

Although PL/SQL anonymous blocks have been used in all of the examples
    so far,
case statements and expressions can also be used in procedures,
    functions, and
packages with no changes to the syntax.
The following samples are included for completeness and demonstrate the
    use of
case statements and/or expressions in each of these scenarios.
    Sample 7:
This sample demonstrates use of a case statement in a stored
    procedure.
Note that this sample also demonstrates that it is possible for each
    of
the items in the case body to consist of more than one statement.

    제약 사항
다음의 databasetype은 case 문에서 지원되지 않는다.
    BLOB
    BFILE
    VARRAY
    Nested Table
    PL/SQL Record
PL/SQL Version 2 tables (index by tables)
    Object type (user-defined type)
All of these types except for object types face a similar restriction
even for if statements (i.e. they cannot be compared for equality directly) so this is unlikely to change for these types. Lack of support for object types is simply an implementation restriction which may be relaxed in future releases.

    NOTE:131557.1

I have done the following code but doesn't
like the statement of - "case(butNext)". What do you mean "doesn't like" -- did you get an error message?
I'm guessing it won't compile because you're trying to switch on a Button.
    I tried something
like "g.fillOval(100,50,70,90, BorderLayout.NORTH)"...no that doesn't make sense. You only use BorderLayout.NORTH when you're adding components to a BorderLayout layout manager. An oval is not a component and fillOval isn't adding a component and Graphics is not a Panel or layout manager.
Would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to position
shapes using the graohic method. I think the problem is that you're confusing shapes with components.
