    Log entries for SR and Problem are not sorted:
    And this is hard-coded, if you want to sort them by date, we should click Date Time.

  • Log Entries not sorted in Problem work items

    We have noticed that the Log Entries in all Problem work items appear to be randomly sorted. You can manually sort them by clicking on the column headers.
    Log entries for Service Request and Incident work items are sorted by Created date as default which I guess is how most people would want them.  Has anyone else noticed this or can this be configured locally somehow?
    Thanks

  • WATERMARK log entries

    Hi guys,
    by any chance you might know what are IPC-WATERMARK/ICC-WATERMARK log messages, I googled, everything points to the fact that they are cosmetic, which is not the case, as SIP-400 stops passing traffic, sometimes even directly connected, until box is completely reloaded, module reload does not help. Router is ISG terminating a few K PPPoE sessions, and is one of the anycast RP's, for the access plant. Without reload it causes massive outage 1-2 hours.
    Entries keep on logging, even after multicast sources were stopped.
    Any input would be much appreciated.
    Thank you,

  • Risk Assessment link with incident/accident Log entry.

    Hi
    Nee your input for below Challenge.
    We are looking for development, which help us to link Risk Assessment with incident/accident Log entry in CBIH82.
    Scenario - We would like to add Risk Assessment option in the incident / accident log entry screen, like we standard have function for safety measure
    Thanks
    Sunil Jawalkar

    Hi Sunil,
    Are you attempting to u201Clinku201D the standard IHS Risk Assessment functionality to the Incident/Accident log?
    In my opinion there is a fundamental problem with this solution approach.  The standard IHS Risk assessment is inherently linked to a Work Area.  The intention is to identify, evaluate and control risks and hazards that are encountered within a specific work area.  This functionality supports measurement management and exposure management but does not fit well with the acute nature of the incident based risk assessment, although, a risk that is identified and addressed initially as the result of an incident may ultimately be added to the Risk Register of the Work Area where the incident occurred.
    The best approach I have found is to enhance the incident record with a Risk Assessment tab that allows the user to identify the individual incident risks based on different risk impacts like People, Environment, Assets, Reputation, Quality and so forth based on client requirements.  Any incident could have one or more risk impacts that contribute to the overall risk rating of the incident.  Each u201Crisk impactu201D is evaluated on the clients standard risk matrix dimensions like Severity, Likely hood and so on.  In this way each risk impact has a unique risk rating.  You can then either identify one of the impacts as the main incident risk rating or have a routine that, based on logic and risk matrix, evaluates the unique risk impact ratings and determines an overall risk rating for the incident.
    Once the unique risk impacts have been evaluated, there should be the ability to reevaluate each impact based on the controls or safety measures that have been implemented.  These u201Cresidual risksu201D could be linked directly to the safety measure that addresses the risk so that the details of the control are apparent.
    I would also consider some type of status management that would indicate when the risk assessment was complete.  This could be used to enforce a risk assessment for incidents that meet predefined conditions like u201Cincident cannot be closed if it meets criteria 1, 2 and 3 and the risk assessment status is initialu201D.  The risk assessment status could also be used support reporting requirements for outstanding risk assessments and so on.
    To implement this approach, I would recommend utilizing one of the menu exits or, if possible, a custom Web Dynpro application linked via BAPI.
    Hope this helps or at least spurs some thought.

    Scott

  • Creating action log entry for incident via SDK in C#

    Hi,
    Does anyone have any example code, or pointer to, of how to add an action log entry (with icon) to an incident? I can't work out what the target for the relationship should be or how to configure it...
    With Thanks,
    Rob

    Anton,
    Thanks for your response! I think the problem may be in how I'm creating "WorkItemMP". In the method below I'm trying to pass in an issue Id parameter to add an action log item to an Issue.
    How are you creating the  "WorkItemMP"?
    public
    void
    UpdateActionLog(string
    nsId)
    EnterpriseManagementGroup
    emg1 = new
    EnterpriseManagementGroup("server01.xyx.com"
    ManagementPackClass
    classIncident = emg1.EntityTypes.GetClass(new

    // A604B942-4C7B-2FB2-28DC-61DC6F465C68
    EnterpriseManagementObjectProjection
    incidentProjection = new
    EnterpriseManagementObjectProjection
    (emg1, classIncident);
    ManagementPack
    WorkItemMP = emg1.ManagementPacks.GetManagementPack(new
    Guid("DD26C521-7C2D-58C0-0980-DAC2DACB0900"));
    //System.WorkItem.Incident.Library MP
    CreatableEnterpriseManagementObject
    cemoIncident = new
    CreatableEnterpriseManagementObject(emg1,

    ].Value = nsId;
    ManagementPackClass
    typeActionLog = emg1.EntityTypes.GetClass("System.WorkItem.TroubleTicket.ActionLog"
    , WorkItemMP);
    CreatableEnterpriseManagementObject
    objectActionLog = new
    CreatableEnterpriseManagementObject
    (emg1, typeActionLog);
    objectActionLog[typeActionLog,

    objectActionLog[typeActionLog,
    "EnteredDate"].Value

    ManagementPackRelationship
    relationship2 = emg1.EntityTypes.GetRelationshipClass("System.WorkItem.TroubleTicketHasActionLog"
    , WorkItemMP);
    if
    (incidentProjection != null
    incidentProjection.Add(objectActionLog, relationship2.Target);
    incidentProjection.Commit();

    Hi Girimurugan,
    I am currently working with SAP Gateway related stuffs and I need a clarification regarding the application log.
    Hope you are very busy and please clarify the doubts if you can spare few minutes towards this query.
    Appreciate your valuable advise towards this.
    Query:
    Can we log any of the different types of logs (I Info / W Warning / A Abort or Cancel / E Error ) into Application Log(/IWFND/APPS_LOG) of the Gateway system in a Hub deployment model ?
    How the logging can be achieved?
    What are the scenarios, wherein the Application logs are preferred?
    Also I have already raised a query in the SCN with this link: http://scn.sap.com/message/15477543. But could not get much details about it.
    Can you please clarify the same?
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Add log entries to an emailed alerts

    Is there any way to add the logs entries that is included in a report/incident in an emailed alert. In other words, instead of just having the link to the mars emailed in the alert, have the actual data that the user will see once they enter the mars.

    I have been working on this one for a few months now. Out of the box, no, there is not. There was a feature request added into 6.0.3 that was supposed to add this functionality but it got left out because it was going to be a lot of work. I have opened a new case with TAC (611170537) and the guy confirmed that the engineers added some data to the email alerts that was already being processed and wouldnt need much additional coding.
    I have filed a new feature request with my local Cisco team but I do not know the bug id yet. Basically what i want is the ability to create an email template which will have the ability to include variables in the email, so the raw message or matched event ID can be included. I was told by the guy at TAC that when he brought up this idea to the developers, they werent too excited because it seemed like a lot of work and there didnt seem to be a business case for it. So if anyone wants to see this feature added, please contact your local account team and include my latest case #. I will include the bug id once I get one. The only way to get this feature added is to request it.

  • Is it possible to remove an action log entry from a ticket?

    Hello.
    Is it possible to remove an actoin log entry from a ticket.  We may run into a situation when confidential data has been pasted into the action log.
    Thank you,
    Richard

    Yes, but not through the UI. the easiest way to do this would be with
    SMLets.
    Import-Module SMLets
    $IRClass = Get-scsmclass Workitem.Incident$
    $SRClass = Get-SCSMClass Workitem.ServiceRequest$
    $ActLogRelationshipClass = get-scsmrelationshipclass System.WorkItem.TroubleTicketHasActionLog
    $IR = Get-SCSMObject -Class $IRClass -Filter "Name -eq 'IR21'"
    $ActionLogs = Get-SCSMRelatedObject -SMObject $IR -Relationship $ActLogRelationshipClass
    Foreach ($ActionLog in $ActionLogs) {
    if ( $ActionLog.Description -match "TEST") {
    Remove-SCSMObject $ActionLog -Force -WhatIf
    It should be noted that this will not remove the action log form the data warehouse. there isn't a supported method to edit data in the DW, so you're kinda on your own if you need to remove this data from the historical records

  • RV325 System Log Entries - Kernel - kernel: wrong ip[0],not_list[0]

    Hello,
    I have a RV325 Router. Entries in the System Log are mysterious to me and all my search results and reading are not relevant.
    The Event-Type is - "Kernel", and the Message is "kernel: wrong ip[0],not_list[0]"
    The Log entries occur every few minutes.
    Does anyone know what this log entry signifies?
    Also, does anyone know how to get an answer to any question from Cisco?
    Thanks,
    Michael Downs

    Hello
    yes, there are several existing discussions about same syslog message, like here, here or here, but neither of discussions points to solution.
    If you device is still under warranty I would suggest you to open service request to Cisco Small Business Support Center to make this issue fixed permanently.

  • New Archived log entry in alert log after cpu patch 19 applied

    Has anyone applied October critical patch for 11.1.0.7? I applied the cpu Patch 19 (8892977) for 11.1.0.7 on several windows2008 servers and after the patch the alert log displays a new message everytime a redo log transfers. This only happens on servers that have archivelog on. It looks like there is some kind of trace set. Anyone know know what the message is?
    Thanks,

    Archived Log entry 10937 added for thread 1 sequence 10938 ID 0xa96e3908 dest 10:

    Hi Mark!
    Yes, Oracle informed me that this message is normal and is only used for formational purposes. I should just ignore it.
    Did you apply patch19? I have also found issues with a high amount of "waits" of type of "other". Some jobs are running slightly slower also. Also, if you check your "database health link" on dbconsole home page you will see consistant "non-critical" alerts. I don't have these alerts on servers not yet patched. This alerts appear to be caused by wait events of "other".

  • Clean up of work flow logs entries (WFMC) from tables CMFP and CMFK

    Hi,
    I am cleaning up the tables CMFP and CMFK for work flow logs entries with app id WFMC. I used the cleanup programs RSCLNAFP, RSCLCMFP but the entries are still seen on the tables. Can anyone please advice ?

    Hey,
    I think notes: 627257, 758952  would help.
    if not, please read notes 52114, 617634, and:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/25c1f5d1-0901-0010-d495-e96d02a0cb01
    the link above advice to run transaction NACE:
    To avoid unnecessary growth of tables CMFP and CMFK, you can prevent the creation of processing logs by following these steps:
    1. Call up transaction NACE (“Conditions for Output Control”).
    2. Choose the desired applications and then “Output Types”.
    3. Double click on the output type to go to the detail view where you can make the necessary settings. To make the settings you must enter the change mode.
    4. Set the indicator “do not write processing log” and save your settings.
    This setting is only applicable to the individual application and output type. If it is set, processing logs will be collected in the main memory, but they will not be written to the database. Other output types are not affected by this setting. You have to repeat the aforementioned steps for each output type individually. It is not possible to switch off the processing log for all output types at the same time. For more information on the setting “do not write processing log” see the corresponding documentation.

  • LogProviders.Add fails with "not recognized as a valid log provider type." in Data Tools but not BIDS

    In attempting to add standard DTS logging to a package via Data Tools, I found that my attempt to execute:
            Dim provider As LogProvider = p.LogProviders.Add("DTS.LogProviderTextFile.2")
    (or any other log provider type,) resulted in:
    The log provider type "DTS.LogProviderTextFile.2, {0A039101-ACC1-4E06-943F-279948323883}" specified for log provider "{CC5CB9A4-E0D5-4ECD-8F4E-1E8FB9BDE8A6}" is not recognized as a valid log provider type. This error occurs when an
    attempt is made to create a log provider for unknown log provider type. Verify the spelling in the log provider type name.
    I created a new package with a single script task using only the example code from the MS documentation for Embedding Logging Programmatically at:
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms136023(v=sql.110).aspx
    consisting of:
    Imports Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime
    Module Module1
    Sub Main()
    Dim p As Package = New Package()
    Dim loggingConnection As ConnectionManager = p.Connections.Add("FILE")
    loggingConnection.ConnectionString = "C:\SSISPackageLog.txt"
    Dim provider As LogProvider = p.LogProviders.Add("DTS.LogProviderTextFile.2")
    provider.ConfigString = loggingConnection.Name
    p.LoggingOptions.SelectedLogProviders.Add(provider)
    p.LoggingOptions.EventFilterKind = DTSEventFilterKind.Inclusion
    p.LoggingOptions.EventFilter = New String() {"OnPreExecute", _
    "OnPostExecute", "OnError", "OnWarning", "OnInformation"}
    p.LoggingMode = DTSLoggingMode.Enabled
    ' Add tasks and other objects to the package.
    End Sub
    End Module
    I get the same error as listed above in SQL Server 2012 Data Tools on three separate machines.  On my primary dev box, where the code fails in Data Tools, running the exact same code in BIDS runs without problems.
    Importing the working BIDS package into Data Tools also fails with the same error.
    I have not encountered any other 2012 Data Tools issues, but logging is a core pattern that makes me worry that this is a problem that may emerge with other functions in the DTS toolset.
    Thanks for any help!!

    Arthur,
    Great idea, I verified that the Integration Services for 2012 was not installed.  I installed the new SSIS service and verified that SQL Server Integration Services 11.0 was running (previously only 10.0 was running.)
    Initially, I experienced an error message trying to run my simple script above:
    Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Applications.Core, Version=10.0.0.0,...
    I followed the steps at the MS link for Could not load file or assembly ‘Microsoft.VisualStudio.Tools.Applications.Core’
    and loaded the missing x64 runtime from edist/VSTA/runtime/x64/VSTA_RT30.msi
    on the distribution media as recomended.
    The script ran, but returned the error listed in the beginning of this message.  I then tried:
    - turning off the 10.0 service
    - setting the project's Run64BitRunTime value both false and true
    - changing the reference to Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server\110\SDK\Assemblies to C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\Microsoft.SqlServer.ManagedDTS\v4.0_11.0.0.0__89845dcd8080cc91
    all of these resulted in the same failure.
    Thank you for the suggestion, I really thought it would be on target.  Alas, it wasn't the fix.
    It is so weird that all the other stuff I'm doing (a very elaborate programmatic package generator doing some tricky stuff,) works fine and only this super basic logging fails!!!!
    Thanks again,
