Include Notes in printed output
When I print photos using Print or Create (PSE4), I have the option to label the photos with various things, such as Caption, Date, etc. However, I have not found any way to print out the Notes that I have attached to the photos. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
Here is what I'm trying to do --
I am making a photo inventory of belongings in my home. For each photo, I use Caption to give a brief description of the item; I use Notes to give a more extended explanation of where it came from, how old it is, and things like that.
For most purposes, the Caption is fine; I can view the Notes in the Properties panel. However, I also want to produce an entire printed album that includes both the Captions and the Notes -- for safekeeping and to give to someone who doesn't use PSE.
I've tried cramming everything into the Caption. However, the PSE user interface doesn't really lend itself to long captions, and they are truncated on some forms of printout. Anyway, this seems to be a misuse of captions.
I'm open to suggestions about other methods to achieve what I need.

For triggering the output for changes you have to make some changes.
- Go to SM30
- Enter view name "<b>VV_T161M_EF</b>".
- Hit 'maintains' view.
- Now let's say your outpu type is 'NEU'. For this there will be one entry like this.
Operat. Ctyp. Name Short text Update
1 NEU Purchase order New
Now with this entry add one more entry like this.
Operat. Ctyp. Name Short text Update
2 NEU Purchase order Change X
You just need to enter Operat. = 2 and Ctyp = NEU. The 'name' and 'short text' will come automatically.
- Save your entry and create.
After doing this, your PO will trigger output on change.

Why is the print output including spaces between every letter?
All printed output has spaces between each letter. Example:

You can fetch the VAT rate either from the Sales order or the Billing document
Getting it from Billing document is more relevant.
First goto the Table VBRK and get the KNUMV field from the vbrk
Then goto KONV table which is the pricing table for conditions and give the input values as the KNUMV and KSCHL
KNUMV is the DOCUMENT CONDITION which is independent for each document
KSCHL is the condition type ( in this case it is your VAT condition type )
You can get the Rate from the the field KBETR.
KBETR is the RATE % of the KSCHL in KONV

I'm packaging some PPTs used for ILT using Captivate. The package is going to include an .exe version and two handout versions. One for students and one for instructors. Has anyone attempted to add or modify the templates for the print output?
I've just tried to use the Handout Template and it has everything scrunched in the center of the page.
When I use this as a handout for students I'd like the graphic more over on the left and more room for longer lines on the right for student notes.
I'd also like to use the handout format with the slide notes for an Instructor's Handout.

By the way, note that when we converted InlineShape #1 to a floating shape, that would have reduced the count of InlineShapes by 1, and what was previously InlineShape #2 is the new #1. Your code may sometimes need to take that change of numbering into account.

Printing output incorrect with non Russian fonts
I have tried all the ways with approximate all the device types.
We are getting the correct print preview of spool requests in SAP with Russian Fonts, It means that SAP is doing it work, but the printing output is wrong.
The device types (eg. HPUTF8, HPLJ5, ZPC2424S) are printing correctly with other Printers like RU03, RU02, RU05 but not with RU07.
We have tried many windows drivers as well which were suggested by SAP.
I have tried the below device types as well which are cyrillic compatible. For these device types print preview is coming fine but not printout.
Cyrillic | I5SPOST | Dfnlatin (note 83502)
SAPWIN5 | Cyrillic, e.g. RU | Yes
Below fonts are suitable for a given languages including Russian:.

BG, RU, SR, UK COURCYR, HELVCYR, TIMECYR
While printing on
RU07 the font should be only above ones not the FC OCRA. FCTIMECYR 080 00060XSF201SF201410 200040R

RU03, RU06, RU07 are sap printer names in ECC system.
SAPSPrint server has names like mospr03, mospr06, mospr07.
SAP is using access method S and pointing to host printer drivers like mospr07 in sapsprint windows server.
It seems that either the printer driver on windows is incorrect in terms of printing from sap or there may be font problem in physical printer. -
Randomly printed output is garbled with non-human characters and symbols
When printing from what we believe to be a pdf display, often, but randomly, the printed output is garbled. This may be the second and subsequent pages, only one page, the first one, etc. This happens often, but not exclusively, when printing from a bank generated pdf on their website but also occures on documents opened/created on our machine locally. I will try to attach a sample page using your 'link' symbole above: can't attach a scanned document (pdf) from my system (now why would I have thought this would be the case?.....) Can anyone help me get this document attached to this email?.......Okay! I've jumped through every hoop and there is no way to 'attach' a scanned document from my computer - are you people real or is this a nightmare? Totally unfunctional.

Hi,
I am using RH9 and Word 2007 .
I have created several snippets and for the most part the formatting appears correctly in the printed output.
The topic has a CSS attached and I manually added the CSS to the snippet as suggested in one of the posts here.
The problem is with the 'Normal' style - all other styles appear correctly in the printed output.
Looking at the Style Inspector in Word I can see that the Normal Style appears with some Text Level Formatting - if you clear this then everything is displayed correctly. Other text in the same topic marked as normal in RH9 appears correctly in Word.
So the question is does anyone know where the text marked as normal in the snippet is getting the text level formatting from and how do I fix it?

A snippet is just a .htm file with a different extension. To add a style sheet, go to HTML mode and add <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="mycss.css" />
The snippet is in the root of your project, so be sure to use the correct path. Save and go to WYSIWYG mode. The snippet is now correctly formatted and you can use the styles from your css."
Now, what I understand from this is that style sheet is not used from the actual snippet but that this allows you to format the snippet and then it takes the formatting from the css which is attached to the topic.
The strange thing is that the mapping seems to be mostly correct (including tables!) except the text marked as 'Normal' - this appears as blue text which is how the font is formatted in RH.
I am outputing to a Word document and using a Word Template (Style Mapping.dot).

My Requirement is
Printing of the delivery ticket (Delivery Challan) should be done only after post goods issue and not before that. Hence it has to be validated before every printing.
So, the customer can be given delivery ticket only after post goods issue and no changes can be done subsequnelty in the system.
Any USEREXIT available to check PGI done or not while printing delivery challan?
Please help me in this regard.

In the Output Determination Procedure for Delivery - against the output type there is a column "REQUIREMENT". U can use requirmenet "1" and then system will issue output only after PGI.
The Code in Routine 1 is as follows -

Arabic data not getting printed correctly
Dear Freinds,
I have developed a smartform where in i have to print the English Name and Arabic name one below the other .
So to ge the ARabic letters to be get printerd i have used the Device type ARSWIN,
i can see now the data being displayed correctly for Arabic name in PRINT PREVIEW ,however when i take printout of the same in the printer which is assigned to my system i can see that the data is getting jumbled on the printed stationery and i can very cleary see that data which is there on Print preview is different to that printed matter , so i have checked with my Arabic collegue and he said after reading the print preview that it is getting displayed correctly but the data in the printed output paper is not correct .
So I really not able to figure out why it is displaying correctly in Print Preview and not getting this printed on the printed stationery . Could any one please help me out what i should do in gettign the data also correctly in the Printed data on the Stationary paper.

Now i understood your problem.
I think you are using Text Elements to print Arabic Text.
Use Include Text instead of Text Elements.
By using So10 you can create Standard Texts.
Note: Create these standard texts under language key "AR".

HP LaserJet P1102W - no print output in Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon Desktop
I've just done a default install of Linux Mint 17.1 - as feared, no print output.
I'm guessing I need to install a driver - but I couldn't find anything easily on HP site, only Windows/Mac OS stuff. Are HP printers generally linux friendly? Where can I download drivers if they are? More over, I'm a total linux newbie, so any drivers need to be easily installed! I'm not currently familiar with Terminal windows and line commands!
My printer does have wireless enabled, but I have it connected via direct USB also.
Linux Mint did offer to run a diagnostic tool/debugging tool which gave a great deal of what means nothing to me. Debug output is below if it is helpful, but hoping a simple driver install will cure all ...
