I set the black berry up to use exchange account. Everything works fine except when  reply to all is used it includes self in the reply (I don't think it is the server this does not happen in outlook or OWA but we get the service from 1and1.com).
I need to know what to change so when  reply to all is used it does not include self.
    thanks,

    Hey watsonc,
Have you checked to make sure that you do not have an auto BCC setup on your BlackBerry Internet Service account? Also have you tried deleting the email integration and then reintegrating the account?
Let us know how you make out.

  • How to include signature ABOVE the quote, in a response?

The signature is always inserted below the quoted message, in a response. Is there a way to have the signature appear together with my own text, i.e. before the quoted message?
    Thanks!

go to Mail preferences->signatures and check the box to place signature above quoted text.

  • Images in email signatures bug on Reply (Mail)

    Hi,
I'm using Mail as email software.
I have some problems with email signatures, when I reply to these emails.
The signatures contained in these mails contain HTML images encoded via base_64.
If I forward the message, there's no problem with images included.
But if I reply to the message, images appear as encoded characters.
What's the problem? Do I have to change any setting ? Or do I have to adapt the image's encoding ?
    Thanks for your help!
    Arnaud

    Hi Karl,
so you tried the IMG tag and it does not work for you?
    For example
would in CDT view turn out like
Though one potential problem with this is that depending on the receiver's e-mail client it may block auto-download of external images.

  • Mac Mail: Don't include signature on replies

How do I not get my signature included on email replies?  I'm okay with my signature being on new emails.

    Greetings PietB,
I understand you would like to exclude your signature in email replies. That can be done easily by using the signature drop-up menu while composing a message. You can choose from your created signatures, or select none. This article provides more information which you may find helpful:
Mail (Yosemite): Include signatures in messages
    Include a signature
You can create prepared text, called a “signature,” to include in your messages. For example, you could create one signature with your mobile phone number to use for friends, and another with your office phone number for work. If you use several email accounts in Mail, you can create signatures for each account.
    Create a signature
Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Signatures.
In the left column, select the email account you want to use the signature for, then click .
You can drag signatures from one account to another, or to and from All Signatures. If you create a signature in All Signatures, you must drag it to an account to use it.
In the middle column, type a name for the signature.
The name appears in the Signature pop-up menu in the message header when you write a message.
In the right column (the preview), create your signature.
You can use the Edit or Format menus in Mail to change the font or layout, turn text into links, or check spelling. To add an image, drag the file into the preview.
If you want your signature to appear after the original text of messages you reply to or forward, deselect the “Place signature above quoted text” checkbox.
    Select a default signature
If you created multiple signatures for an email account, you can choose one to automatically add to messages you send from that account.
Choose Mail > Preferences, then click Signatures.
Select an account in the left column.
Click the Choose Signature pop-up menu, then choose a signature.
To automatically alternate between the signatures, choose At Random or In Sequential Order.
    Use signatures
Add a signature to a message: Click the Signature pop-up menu in the message header, then choose a signature. If an expected signature isn’t in the pop-up menu, choose Edit Signatures to open Signatures preferences, then verify the signature is in the account.
Delete a signature from a message: Select the signature, then press the Delete key.
Replace a signature in a message: Delete the existing signature, then add a different signature.
Change the default signature: Choose Mail > Preferences, click Signatures, click the Choose Signature pop-up menu, then choose None or a different signature. If you use more than one email account in Mail, make sure the intended account is selected in the left column.
Depending on how a recipient’s mail server handles signatures, your signature may appear as an attachment or image to the recipient.
If you use iCloud Drive on your Mac and other devices, your signatures are automatically updated and available on those devices.
Thank you for contributing to Apple Support Communities.
    Best,

  • How do I set the "reply to" field in the iPad 2 Mail app?  I use an email forwarding service (not an actual email account) that I would like people to reply to.

How do I set the "reply to" field in the iPad 2 Mail app?  I use an email forwarding service (not an actual email account) that I would like people to reply to, so setting up an account with the correct reply-to address doesn't work because there's no associated outgoing mail server.  I had this working under iOS4 but it seems to have disappeared when I upgraded to iOS5.

Welcome to the forum, NicoleYM. I don't think the Touch Mail has as many options as the Mac Mail app. However, you could set a standard signature. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Signature. There you can type a reply address and hope people see it.
Alternatively, you can go to your GMail account in your web browser and click on Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP. There you will have an option to forward all emails (or only some, if you set up a filter) to your other address.
    Good luck!

  • How to include all of the original text in email replies with attachment

I am using Mac Mail and I have set up the composing preferences to include all of the original message when responding. This only works so long as I don't send an attachment. If I send an attachment in my reply then the recipient doesn't receive any of the previous text, although the copy in my 'sent' box has it on. I contacted BT and got the following response "If you can send and receive emails including attachments via this software then this indicates that the client configuration is correct, and unfortunately this is as far as we can support Mac Mail. I would suggest you seek further advice from Apple as this may be down to the way you have configured the mail client’s composing preferences. Apple’s help desk will be able to tell you if this is a known issue". I've searched the forum for an answer but couldn't find one, does anyone know how to fix this?

    Annette, welcome to Apple Discussions.
I don't know what is causing your mail problem, but offer a possible alternate solution.
Open the email you want to respond to. Then click reply. Then copy the text.
Then open a new message and paste the copied text. Add your attachment & any additional new text. Then send.
     Cheers, Tom

  • Signature on the print checks

    hi folks,
I have a question related to printing signature on the checks, I need to find how it is done,
In the sap script under the signature window, I found the following code for the text elements,
'INCLUDE ZHEX-MACRO-PPC-SIGNATURE OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN
where PPC is the company code.
what does this mean? Is it coded in a macro? Any leads would be really helpful.
    Thanks,
    SK

  • Freetype OR digital signature in the same field?

    Hello,
I'm creating a form for someone who wants to be able to use a digital signature OR free type within the same field.
I've tried creating a new combo box with the free type as the first option, but can't seem to figure out a way to have a digital signature as the second option.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get both options in one field?
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks, George.  You've helped me several times in the past and I know you're a power user, so if you say it's not possible, I know I'm barking up the wrong tree!    Appreciate the reply.

  • How can I put the signature into the data file.

    Hi all,
I want to put the signature into the data file, mean the data file will be on the top and the signature will be at the buttom.how can i do that?
    Thanks.
    example:-
    dataFile.txt
    Name=...
    Address=...
    Signature=6A07C70E....123FEAB(Hex)

    Thanks for your reply.
First, i have a keypair (public key and private key).
I use the private key to initialize the Signature and
use the Signature to sign a data file ( dataFile.txt) .
So when i need to comfirm the data file not being modify
I have to verify the data file with the Signature and the public key.
I hardcoded the public key in my program so my client (receiver of data)
need only the Signature file and the data file (2 files).
So how can i combine the Signature file and the data file into 1 file?

  • Blackberry email does not honor the Reply To field?

I've noticed that my blackberry replys to the FROM and ignores the REPLY TO field. Do you know anything about that?
When I reply to this specific email on my outlook, it responds to the REPLY TO address. If i do the same on my Blackberry, it reply to the FROM address.

    Hi there!
I just ran a test to attempt to replicate this.
    Account 1) Yahoo
    Account 2) Private POP
Send from Account 1 to 2 using Reply-To of Account 2.
    Received on BB.
Initiated Reply -- address for destination was as expected (Account 2)...
So, I'm not able to replicate what you experienced. In which case I would suggest a few remedies:
    1) Register HRT:
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > BBKey (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
    2) Resend Service Books:
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    3) Delete and completely recreate the BIS conduit
Good luck and let us know!

  • Applescript and the "reply to" field of outgoing message

I have a useless script that works.
    tell application "Mail"
set newMessage to make new outgoing message ¬
    with properties {content:"My name <[email protected]>"}
set visible of newMessage to true
    end tell
I also note from the Mail dictionary that an outgoing message has the following properties: content, sender, subject, content, visible, message signature (signature), id .
I'm puzzled: why aren't there more properties? In particular, I would like to set the Reply To: and Account: fields with something like the following script.
    tell application "Mail"
set newMessage to make new outgoing message ¬
    with properties {sender:"[email protected]", reply to:"[email protected]"}
set visible of newMessage to true
    end tell
I've discovered (with that second script) that the sender property corresponds to the Account: field. But can I get the Reply To: field visible and filled with AppleScript? Or with something else? Automator?
PowerBook G4, Cube   Mac OS X (10.4.6)   Also running 10.2.8 on a Cube, hopefully 10.3.9 soon

Applescript only has access to the objects and properties in the various dictionaries; for mail, as you have discovered, this does not give access to much for an outgoing message. In particular, you cannot access headers such as date or priority or reply-to. If, as in your script, you are making the outgoing message visible before sending it, then you can fill in the reply-to field by hand, but short of trying some gui scripting you can't change it via applescript.
I suggest you use OS X Feedback to complain.
