Including another image in the grid

How can I add another column in the grid. This column should be an image. I am using Interactive Report.
This image will call another form.

Copy a text layer to another image in the same location

I am trying to find a way to copy a text layer in one image to another image of the same size so that the text layer is in the exact same location.
Basically I have two images for a rollover button for a website. What is the easiest way to copy a text layer to the other image so that it will be in the exact same location to create the rollover effect?

Right click on the layer, Duplicate Layer, set destination to the other image file in the dropdown.

Including big images kills the memory!

I think the title says it all.
After some time I used the profiler included in the builder today and experimented a bit with my design.
I have a big application 1100x1000 which includes 2 spark BitmapImage components. Each one is embedding a picture for the application background.
Even though I've optimized as much as I could the two images (made their size almost 11 kb), the fact that their widths and heights are big is causing problems.
I've noticed that if I dont include these images my application is consuming almost 10 mb less than with the images (25 mb after all the data has returned from the server).
I think its a huge difference!!! If I see it the wrong way please let me know.
I have also tried using the mx image components without embedding the picture but no difference. So my next thought was to include the graphics in the html template. I've managed to do that but then the swf isnt transparent, so no luck there either.
Anyone else experiencing such issues?

1000x1000 = 1 million pixels at 4 bytes per, so 4MB per image just in
bitmaps.
If the bitmaps are copied, that will eat up more. Use the profiler to see
what it has to say.

How do I include an image in the middle of a sentence in sapscript?

How can I include/print an image or graphic representation in the middle of a sentence using SAPscript forms?
For example, I would like to be able to add an image of a telephone right before the telephone number, or even print someone's signature right after their name.

Thanks for your replies. However I think I need to add few more elements of information here.
1) I am not using smartforms and am not familiar with them. So smartform solutions are not an option for me. Strictly SAPscript forms.
2) The images and graphics have all been imported and created in SE78. What I need to do is to incorporate them into my SAPscript form at the right place.
3) When I use the 'insert' function from the dropdown list, it creates the following:
/: BITMAP 'LOGO' OBJECT GRAPHICS ID BMAP TYPE BMON
But if I add some text before or after the 'BITMAP.....' command, that is to say:
/: text 1 BITMAP 'LOGO' OBJECT ......... text 2
then this command is not interpreted, and the whole thing comes out as text. Let's put it this way, I want to have the text 1 and text 2 as text and the bit map in the middle interpreted as image and printed as image with text 1 and text 2 printed on either sides of this image. how can I concatenate a text line, a command line and a text line into one line such that SAPscript interprets it correctly?

How do I stop PE automatically including edited images into the Organiser?

I use the Organiser to keep track of my original raw photographs. I have many thousands of them, so I don't want to clutter up the organiser with the edited versions I produce later on. However, whenever I edit an image, PE automatically includes it in the organiser, and I have to delete it. Also, there are times when I'm working on graphics - labels, invites, cards etc - which also get included in the Organiser, adding to the mess. Is there a way I can turn this feature off?

Thanks for your reply, dj_paige. As to why I only want the originals in the Organiser - well, call it an old man's whim. I've been creating images for longer than I care to remember and for the last 25 years my career has been in digital animation and effects, so I've spent a quarter of a century faking things with pixels.
But when I take a photograph, that's real. That actually happened. If the sky isn't very blue in the picture, it probably wasn't very blue on the day. Sure, like anyone else I use PE to make beautiful edited versions for my family and friends, but the original raw files are the record of my life, exactly as it was, and the Organiser is my journal. When I scroll through the pictures (I guess there are about 50,000) I don't want to see anything fake.

How do I show and/or update image info in the Grid view?

Somehow, all the info that was showing in my grid view, in Lightroom 5.6, disappeared. How do I view info for each grid image, on the grid and how do I update or change what info is viewable?

Can I display the File name at the bottom of the Grid view window?

Dang. I'm probably going to catch some flak for this... but I can't find where this bone is buried. When the main viewer is in grid mode, the bottom of the window says "1 selected - 9 items displayed" or something to that effect. Is there a way to replace that with the name of the file(s) that is currently selected?
I have searched the manual and tried many of the Metadata display options and can get all kinds of info to show up when double clicking to bring that image full screen. But I'd like to see its name when simply selected in the grid view.
Obviously that info is available in the Info pane to the left. But when doing basic organizing, I like to leave that side on the Library pane.

I have no idea, if it would be possible to change the caption in the line below the grid.
But why not add the filename of each image to the grid view like this?
Edit the metadata for the Gridview (expanded or basic) to include the "File name" and arrange the display order to show the Filename first. This way you will see it bleow each image.
Another way to alway see the filename would be to set the Metadata Tooltip to include the filename, and to enable the tooltip, when you are using grid view.

Cs5 - images have weird grid-like/pixelation distortion i cant get rid of! help!

i've just downloaded the trial of photoshop cs5 (it took ages mind you!) and when i go to open (or create) a file that is larger (eg 1000x750 pixels) there is this weird grid that distorts the image (it's not the grid you can turn off and on or the grid that shows the actual pixels). when i open a smaller file there is no grid and the image is perfectly clear and normal - but when i zoom out there is a grid. also, when i'm zoomed out (eg 66% but sometimes from even 200%) the distortion happens, whereas if i zoom closer it disappears.
it doesn't distort the image itself, but distorts the colours in parts of the image.
i've experimented enlarging the canvas of a smaller image and placing a larger image into it on a different layer, but then the grid affects not only the larger image but the smaller as well, like it is stretching the colours to the edge of the canvas, or trying to pixelate/fuzz the image. however the grid doesn't affect the whole canvas, just the bits above and to the side of the larger images (mostly).
also when i zoom in/out gradually the squares of the grid enlarge and change size (both bigger and smaller).
so i don't know what the problem is, and any help/suggestions would be much appreciated as i need to use the program for a uni assignment due in a couple of weeks!!

Hey- I have the same issue. When I started using cs5 I noticed this grid/distortion right away. At first I thought it was my wacom tablet (I use an Intuos 3) but its not. Its very annoying because I cant put my fingure on why this is happening. Anytime I ask a friend about it who normally knows alot about photoshop they tell me its that grid option thing which I have already turned off. I have included a screen shot of what the issue looks like. Any ideas anyone?

Background Images in Fluid Grid Layouts

How can I get the background image that I assign to a fluid grid layout div to fill up 100% of the grid space and at the same time size the background to the fluid boundaries of the div the same way as if I had placed an image into the div? Currently, the background image lays in the grid at the pixal size of the background picture with only the portion of the background showing commenserate withthe size of the div contents. I use CS6.

In your CSS Styles menu, if you double click on the layout div you are working on or the grid container, you will find that the image will show if you hit the return key. If you create a table bigger than the div tag or grid container, it will automatically resize and you be able to see your image. Thats a couple of cheat ways so you can see your image when you work and when you publish.
It just means you will have several of this code: <p> </p>
The image will only show the width and the height of layout div that you are working in.
I have been able to place one fluid grid layout div tag inside on another, although I find that if I make this a template file, the template tends to break over time. Not sure it that's because I am giving Dreamweaver a headache with multiple fluid grid layout div tags inside each other.
The most I have done: 1st level grid container, 2nd level inside grid container were layout div for spry collapse panel menus, 3rd level inside layout div for spry collapse panel menus were sub menus.
I have tried placing one image in the background of the grid container and then another image over the top in a fluid grid layout div tag. The reason why they move is because of the fixed/scroll option inside the CSS style. I found that when publishing, certain browsers shift both images either up or down. This can be a problem, especially if you create an image with a white box and try to align the second image up inside.
It probably can be done, and I spent months hand coding and playing with the file. IE8 is a problem and I have added extra code which I found online. Firefox tends to move things on Windows platform, but MAC is not as bad. Safari and Chrome tends to work better with fluid grid layouts. There is an option for the early versions of browsers so they can recognise things.
To resize everything when in tablet and mobile, I found tablet grid container/layout div tage size 80-90% and mobile to 40-50% grid container/layout div tage size.

Where does Lightroom put HDR in the grid view? Is there anyway to have Lightroom stack the HDR file with the source files?

I can't decipher where (and why) the program is putting the HDR image in the grid. I stack all of my HDR source images so they are easy to track and manage. Other apps/plugins allow you to stack resulting images with their source image. That would be great if there's a way to set that in LR preferences.

Thanks, but this doesn't really answer the question about stacking the HDR file with the source files. Yes, it does put the file in the same folder, however many of my folders have 100s of images (that often look similar) and as far as I can tell, LR places them randomly in the sort order. It doesn't appear to put them at the beginning or end of the sort (usually by date), but somewhere randomly in the middle. Even if it could be made clear what method it is using to sort them, that would help locate one file among hundreds.
Ideally, however it should allow you to stack with the stacked source files. Is there anyway to do this? If not, is it a feature that could be requested?

Simulate Acquisition does not include new image file created after first call

For example, I have 5 images in a folder.
I call Simulate Acquisition.
It cycles through all 5 images.
Now If I include 1 more image it does not include this image in the "cycle". I need to reload this step by clicking Main\path\browse button and select any image in the folder and then it cycles through all 6 images.
Is there anyway to automatically include new images added to the folder after the step has been created?

Here's a sample inspection and VI to illustrate how you could do this. I used an image variable and passed this into the Run LV step so the VI could read the file and update the image variable and then I used the Select Image step to get the image variable into the VBAI script so you can process it. I also added a delete option in the VI so you can delete the previous image when you read the next available image. Make sure to go to the Setup State and initialize the path variable to where your image files will live (to access the Setup State, go to View>>View Complete Inspection and select on the Setup option on the left hand side. I initialized it to c:\Image Folder

Overlay two images in the same container

Hi,
I don't know if it's possible, but in my webdynpro application I have a transparent container with an image, amont other stuff, inside. I've created the image as a cl_wd_link_to_action object, because when the user clicks over it, an action is triggered.
My question is if it would be possible to add another image to the container, so both images are overlapped. For example, suppose you have an image representing a document and after it is reviewed, a tick icon appears over the document image.
Is this possible?

Am not sure with dynamic programing, even don't have clue regarding overlapping one component with another. Alternatively I can suggest you to place two images which can toggle visibility in between them when clicked

yes the first bit of code is netbeans generated.
the second piece of code is an fx file that updates the content of the grid based on the users selection.
so i cannot add the image to the grid in composer as its a dynamically generated grid. but ill try and see if i can just to test for now

Can DataGrid have the grid view?

I have two DataGrids that can drag-drop data between source_datagrid and target_datagrid by defining the dragEnter and dragDrop events.
DataGrid control has list-based view, is there a way to convert the DataGrid control to display the grid-view?
If I need to make another control for the grid-view display, can you point out the example that what controls to use?
and how to do the drag-drop from this grid-view control to dataGrid?

Instead of using a DataGrid, you could use a Tile or TileList component.
DataGrid does not have your desired behavior.
You could create a custom component that uses states to display data in a DataGrid or Tile/TileList and switch states as appropriate.

Adjust Image in photo grid or album?

How do I do this? I need to make image adjustments to photos I have in a photo page. I click on the image in the grid, but the Adjust Image window goes grey and I can't make any adjustments. What gives?

Those adjustments would have to be made prior to importing them.
Photo's in regular pages can be adjusted.
From the help menu:
NOTE: You can’t use the Adjust Image window to modify photos in a photo grid (on a Photos or My Albums template).
