Including "job title" as one of the default fields for iOS 8 Contacts

For the "Contacts" on my MacBook Pro, I am able to set things up so that, when I add a new entry, "Job Title" appears among the default fields, sparing me from having to go down to "add a field" in order to enter the "jon Title" for that particular entry.
I have not found a may to do such customization on my iPhone 5 with iOS 8.1.1 Can you tell me how to do this? I have looked at Settings for "Mail, Contacts, and Calendars", and under "Contacts" there is no place allowing specification of default contact fields..

When you add a new contact in Contacts scroll down to bottom and select Add Field. Job Title is near the bottom.

Best practice would be to create an external style sheet and link to it in the <head> like this:
<link rel="stylesheet" media="all" type="text/css" href="style_sheets/main_styles.css" />
of course edit for your folder structure and file names.
But you could test various styles by placing them in the <head> directly, like this:

Where can one change the default setting for itune u (ie so that download all is default)

Where can the defaults for itunes download setting be changed? I would like it to be download all instead od download the first only. I don't want to have to open each and change it on a one by one basic. os is 10.8.4 running on a macbook pro

Okay after much research and trial I finally figured it out. When you open up the settings menu at the very top of the list of itune u courses is the default selection by checking this it then becomes the default choice. You will not see this unless you open the dropbox and go to the top and even then you might think it was just a header.

How can I change the default number for a contact when using Siri

My husband has one mobile for work, one for home, both are in my favorites. When i'd ask Siri to dial his number, it would always ask me which one to use. Recently when calling him Siri asked if I would like to use his work number as the default and I mistakenly agreed. Now Siri never asks which number to dial and always dials the work number. How can I change that? I would like to make the default the home number.

I tried to "order" Siri to change my husband's default number and whatever syntax I used for my request Siri responded with a web search on how to set favorites.
So I ended up deleting the work number from my husband's contact information and I used Siri to call him a couple of times. After 24 hours (random time frame) I added his work mobile back to his contact information, but not in the favorites.
SIri now dials his home number because it's the only one in the favorites.
I'll add it to the favorites in due course.

How does one modify the Notes field in a contact already in the address book?

The reason the that the edit button ( - ) top righthand corner had 'disappeared', was that iCloud was enabled but that the Addressbook subsetting under iCloud was set to off in the phone settings.
Changing it to 'on' made the edit button reappear.

The default fonts depends on (1) the language used, (2) the application and (3) what information is displayed. You can control this — to a certain extent — by tweaking the applications' bowels, but there might also be some helpers out there... The fonts used by the operating system itself are listed below:

How do I change the default folder for saving contacts?

I have happily used Outlook for several years for POP accounts. My recent addition of an Exchange account has hijacked several default behaviors that I was used to. For one, contacts are now saved by default in the exchange related contact
folder instead of the folder that is associated with my primary POP account. How do I reconfigure Outlook to saved contacts to my preferred folder, so that I don't have to constantly move the new contacts after they are saved? I do not want this
information on the exchange account. This bad behaviour occurs no matter what email account is read, from which I am saving the contact info.
To reproduce the problem: Open a message in the POP email, right click on the FROM email address, choose Add to Contacts from the menu, find the contact stored in the exchange contact folder instead of the contact folder for the POP account (the folder
that Outlook USED to save to prior to adding the exchange account).
Work around: (annoying the first few times, mentally unhealthy after more than a few) Save the contact, then manually move it to the correct folder.

What version of Outlook are you using?
I have test this in Outlook 2010/ Windows 7.
If set POP as default outlook data file(.pst),
Open a message in the POP email, and right click "Add to Contact" in FROM with External email address, it will save to POP contact folder.
If the Email address end with @Exchange.com, it always save to Exchange contact folder, no matter what is default email account, maybe this behavior by default.

Set default number for many contacts?

Hi,
ive just recieved a replacement handset and imported my contacts from backup.
All contacts are there but the voice dialling feature is lost.
If i reset the default number for a contact, the voice dialling will return... however I have 900 contacts!
Is there a way to set the default number for all my contacts to, say, the mobile number?
Can I do this another way?

I have 3400 contacts and want to update them. Previous deault numbers have been lost when importing them into the latest version of PCSuite.

First podcast uploaded with the wrong title? It is using the title of one of the podcasts and not showing the name only of the speaker?

I uploaded 7 podcasts using Podomatic. iTunes is using the titles of one of the podcasts as the title for the page. I need to change the page title and also remove my name (not sure why my name was posted instead of the name of the podcast speaker). You need to change them in Podomatic wherever you originally entered the data and republish the feed. The Store should pick up the changes after a couple of days or so, though it's possible it might not do so until you post a new episode.

Look in your Home > Music folder. There should be an iTunes folder there and it should have a number of files and folders including one called library.itl You want to guide iTunes to that file. If you don't see that file or folder then in your next post you will have to be very specific as to what you do see or how you have your iTunes set up because that's where it should be according to default settings.

hi do the following
1. In Search programs and files (Windows 7) area, type in regedit, and press Enter.
2. If prompted click yes,
3. expand the following HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
4. click the sid that related to your admin profile (if you not sure, click each sid and in turn look to the right hand side of registry editor it will show who that sid is related to one of the registry files should hae in description localhost\admin or
something similair)
5. right click the sid and press delete.
6. restart your machine and log back on with the admin account, this will then rebuild the admin profile... dont worry when it loads and none of your personal settings are saved or files or folders... go to c:\users
in here you will see two folders for the admin account, one will be just admin and the other most likely admin.localhost
i cant remember which one is which but just check both, one will still have all your files and folders in it.
i suggest making a backup of your data before doing this incase something does go wrong, but ive had this happen many times in a domain enviorment and has worked for me everytime.

How does one change the font size for folders and/or file lists in the '''Bookmarks''' Library?
Since the upgrade to version 9.0.1 of Firefox, the Bookmarks feature changes are confusing me. They seem to be confusing themselves as well. The list of bookmarks has changed. The font size is so small that my aging eyes cannot read it without fogging the screen with my breath. Some folders are out of alphabetical order (where I know they were previously good), and some are missing altogether (folders to which I frequently add references).
As for missing or deranged files or folders, was there something that I should have done or now need to do to recover those after the upgrade (or before)?
With regard to font size,
1. there is no “Edit Bookmarks” or like option to edit the list in this version
2. the “zoom” option in the “view” list of functions is greyed out when in “Show All Bookmarks” window
3. expanding the browser window has no effect on font size
4. “Preferences” settings for font size has no effect in that window either, including advanced settings
5. “Help” offers none that I can find.
