Incoming call problem on iphone 4s

I've had this problem for a couple of days now and couldn't find anybody with the same issue:
My iPhone 4S will interrupt all incoming calls. My phone rings a few times then ends the call.
At my phone the call is left unaswered. On the other phone it says that I've answered, but theres
no voice or anything coming out.
I've tried all the basics:
-Shuttingdown the network
-Booting
-Reinstalling OS
Anything doesn't seem to work.
If you know any tricks or something please tell me.

Problem solved:
It was my operator that didn't work. I've got two sim cards and somehow the other card anwered the calls. Just transferred the calls from the other sim to this one and everything works great again.

I had this problem too with my newly bought iPhone 4s.I went to a technician shop to ask what the problem is and they said they could fix it however they would charge £35 and I believed this was too much. I was playing around with my iPhone to see if I could fix this problem I went on setting the clicked on the music section at the music section there is the button called sound check which was off so I decided to turn it on . After I turned it on my sound came back I was ecstatic I saved myself £35 and having to return the phone.

  • Why does an incoming call on my iPhone 5 try to switch to a FaceTime call?

When someone calls my iPhone 5, the call tries to switch to a FaceTime call. This was happening prior to the iOS 7 updates as well.  It only happens when someone calls me, not when I place a call.  Has anyone else had this happen?  I also have had this happen without a case, with an otter box, and with the life proof case.

I have re-posed this question where I had originally posed it - in the FaceTime for Mac community. Here is the link to that discussion:
How do I get FaceTime for Mac to stop ringing after answering an incoming call on my iPhone?
For some reason the admins moved this original question to the Using iPhone community, when the problem almost certainly has nothing to do with iPhone.
Would you do me a favor and follow the link to the new discussion and hit the "I have this question too" below it? I'd really appreciate it. Anything to get this issue some exposure.

  • How do I get FaceTime for Mac to stop ringing after answering an incoming call on my iPhone?

I have iPhone Cellular Calls enabled for iPhone and FaceTime and am able to make and receive calls splendidly with FaceTime. However, when I answer an incoming call on my iPhone, FaceTime will not stop ringing. This is a significant, loud, annoying issue for me, my caller, and everyone in my house. It rings for eternity, long after the call has ended, until the call notification on my Mac is either accepted or declined. FaceTime needs to know when the call is answered on another device and stop ringing. Is there any solution for this?

    This works for me:
To turn off Phone Calling on your iPad or iPod Touch, go to FaceTime under Settings and switch off iPhone Cellular Calls. On your Mac, open the FaceTime app, then go to Preferences under FaceTime, and tap Settings. From there, switch off the iPhone Cellular Calls option.
    Found it here:http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/131449-why-s-my-mac-taking-my-iphone-calls-how-t o-turn-off-apple-continuity
I realise it doesn't quite solve the issue of FaceTime "knowing" whether the call has already been answered on another device, which I agree is a flaw. But in my case, I don't want to receive regular phone calls on my Mac at any time. Only the very rare FaceTime call. So turning off cellular calls is a solution of sorts.

  • I can't decline incoming call from my iphone display

    Dear friends,
I'm using iPhone 6 but I can't decline incoming call from my iphone display. I saw YouTube video  to view reject/ decline incoming call I need to press power button twice. But seems odd to me. So now what I'll do or if there is no option for that then what'll Apple do?

The Decline button will only appear if the phone is unlocked. If the phone is locked when you receive a call, the only option is to double-tap the sleep/wake button to send it directly to voicemail. If you tap the button once, it will silence the call, but it will continue the ring cycle before going to voicemail. If the screen is awake, then you will see the Decline button. Feedback to Apple goes HERE, and click on the appropriate link.

Having trouble hearing incoming calls on my iphone 4?

Sorry to hear that. As you'll see, on the boards here and elsewhere, OS6 has had reports of a variety of sound related issues. Hopefully Apple will offer fixes for them in their next update, however more senior members may also be able to offer some troubleshooting advice. Best of luck.

  • Why do all of my incoming calls on my iPhone 5c say they are from unknown, even though I have the person calling already in my contacts?

why do all of my incoming calls on my iPhone 5c say they are from unknown, even though I have the person calling already in my contacts?

Caller ID can also be turned off on some networks e.g. iOS has a setting for UK phones to turn it off. You should try calling from a number you know is not blocked from sending the caller ID.

  • Sipura SPA-3000 incoming calls problem

I have a very strange problem with my SPA-3000.
I can make any outgoing calls.
    For the incoming calls:
    1. I hear the ring
    2. Callers do not hear anything (no ringing tones)
    3. I pick up the phone and hear nothing
    4. Callers still hear nothing and call does not connect
    5. I hangup
    6. Caller disconnect
    What could cause such problems?
I forwarded ports 5060-5061 and 16384-16482 to the adapter.
    P.S. I'm using pennytel services.
    Thanks.

I would run a quick test to see if it involves the determination of your external ip address. Determine your external ip address (run www.whatsmyipaddress.com on a pc attached to the router) and put the ip address on the Sip tab under Ext IP. This is not a permanent solution unless you have a static ip address, but if this solves the problem you know that has something to do with your router. Remove the entry after you run the test.
The basic diagnostic tool available is a sip debug trace. To do this you need a syslog program running on your pc. See this web page for a link to download a syslog program:
    http://www.sipura.net/Documents/faq/Section_2.html#9
You setup your pc address under debug server on the SPA3000 system tab, you set the Debug Level to 3 and on the Line tab you set the Debug Option to FULL.
A sip debug trace will show the incoming sip invite, the responses and the startup of the rtp packets.

    Johan, open your Phone application.
Swipe down from the top of the bezel to > Settings.
Tap Smart Dialing and set up your correct information in Smart Dialing... national number length, country code, etc.

  • Lenovo a850 incoming calls problem

    Hello.
I have this good phone since 1 month.
Unluckly, since the beginning, i have an annoying  problem with incoming calls.
Most of times i'm not reachable and the classical message "THe number you have dialed is busy on another call" is what people calling me normally listen to.
THis happens even if i'm not on another call.
I bought this phone from the most famous chinese shop on line it was already rooted when here.
SOmeone have experienced the same problem?
    I have 2 sims.
I have tried to use it with only one or swapping the two. Nothing. Same thing
    Any suggestion is appreciated.

    Hi,
I have exactly the same problem, from time to time I cannot receive any incoming calls even though network is perfectly fine. The only difference is that it is with lenovo phone model S850.
I have bought the phone for less than two weeks and this problem crops up. I have to say if I knew of this existing problem I would never have bought this phone. From what I have read, this problem seems to be pretty common among lenovo phones (AND ONLY LENOVO PHONES SOMEHOW).
I am extremely disappointed. Why would someone buy a phone when it cannot carry out the very basic requirement of a phone "receiving calls properly". I could have bought a NOKIA for 50 quid and thats it. I wouldnt have to spend 150 quid for a piece of junk.
I also find it very disappointing and unacceptable why the lenovo company has not resolved this imminent and persisting problem depite numerous complaints.
I'm utterly disappointed in Lenovo and will never buy anything related to Lenovo again in the future (unless this problem can be permanently solved).

  • Incoming calls to my iphone go straight to voice mail after 1 ring

    Can anyone help?

    Check,
Settings > Phone > Call Forwarding > It should be set to off - is there anything set here to automatically forward incoming calls?
if it is set to off, and all settings under control of your network provider are normal then it should work just fine.
For my network, the number of rings that it does before diverting to voice mail is also set by my network provider and is not something which I can change.

  • When i recieve a incoming call on my iphone 4s the size of the contact picture is full screen how do i get the picture to display thumbnail size

when recieving a incoming call the full size contact pic assigned to the contact displays how can i cahnge it to thubnail size while displaying the wallpaper at the same time?please help!!!

    Dear arob615,
    Reduce the resolution.
The picture will display as thumbnail on the phone when a call comes in.
Since Mountain Lion I had full screen caller pictures even when assigned in the OS X adress book.
In my case I reduced the picture to 64 x 64 pixels.
Then it showed as thumbnail as calls came in.
I don't know where the exact maximum pixel size for thumbnail display is.
If you find out, tell us.
This bugged me a long time and I would enjoy if this could help you.
    Best regards
