Incoming calls bypass the general iphone lock
Although I've set up the general lock on my IPhone 3G, incoming calls bypass the mechanism and make the phone accessible by anyone who picks it up. Is there a way to require a passcode for receiving calls....I want to block all access to my phone!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll find that with the iPhone locked, an incoming call will not allow access to the phone, i.e. you can only answer and talk, not access the phone OS.

I feel that the major bug in iOS 7 is, we cannot disconnect the incoming call when the phone is locked. I dont understand whats the reason behind not fixing this issue...! My iphone lock/unlock button is getting spoiled day by day as am using that button evert time to disconnect the incoming call when the phone is locked.
Apple, please give me the genune reason for not fixing this issue, else fix this ASAP.

How I can hang up an incoming call using the IO7 ?
I'm using the IPhone 5 , and updated to software iOS 7 ; V 7.0.2
earlier in the previous iOS6, i was able to hang up an incoming call while the screen was locked. But now i can't. The only thing possible is just mute the ringing tone.
Is it possible in the iO7 to hang up an incoming call ?Tap the Sleep/Wake button to silence the call, a double tap sends the call straight to Voicemail.

Hi, this is amit from india. just started using iphone 4s. i am observing that when an incoming call comes, the phone smtimes shows two virtual buttons of red and green color so as to attend or reject the call. but smtimes it just shows green button with a slider to attend the call and there is no red button to reject the call. is it a bug or some setting?
Because it behaves differently depending on whether the phone is locked (in standby) or unlocked (in use) when the call comes in.

I have iphone 4 and the software is ios 7.0.2. I am facing problems with my phone. Since the last software update my phone has started giving problems. like it hangs sometime when i recieve an incoming call. The carrier status bar shifts down a bit and sometimes it vanishes automatically. I,m confused.
Secondly i have an update IOS 7.0.4 waiting in my Software Update menu. I have tried so many times to update my iphone but it always fails to update the IOS 7.0.4. Any body suggest anything regarding thisWow. Lots of help. Thanks apple

I can do phone calls while the phone is locked. Just press and hold the home button to Sirri and tell it to call any number and its calling.
That's correct, and the way it is designed to work. If you don't want this to happen go to Settings/general/passcode lock and turn off Voice Dial and Siri.

This happened to me when I received a call. My phone started vibrating when it received the incoming call but the screen was black and kept vibrating like as if the call was still coming in, even though my friend hung up. It kept going and going, so I tried holding down the lock button to turn it off but screen was still black/turned off. Hitting home did nothing. My friend said to try holding down the lock button and home button together to reset it. I tried this and yet nothing happened. I am waiting for the battery to drain out and give it a try.
To reset, you have to press both the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo appears - takes 10-15 seconds.

Any suggestions?Try a factory restore, this might be a software problem so just plug into itunes and go and click the restore button. If this doesnt fix it then its a hardware problem meaning you need to head to an apple store for a replacement.

However you can do if the screen is in lockedDouble tap the power button.

I can call out or recieve incoming call on the Iphone 4s.
