Incoming/Outgoing Call Problem

Earlier today, my friend's iPhone was working fine. Then he plugged it into the cassette deck with stereo 1/8" output into the cassette deck to listen to some tunes. Now, he can't hear or be heard when he makes a phone call. The calls still come through and he can make and receive calls, just not hear anything or be heard. When the volume is adjusted, the screen comes up and says Ringer and "headphones" in parenthesis. Can anyone help him to get back to a normal non headphone world?

If the cassette device you were using does not say that it can be used with the iPhone, it is not a good idea to use that device. This may be the problem that you stumbled upon. I also believe that using these "unapproved for Iphone" devices can void your warranty, so it is best to steer clear of using them. Specifically about your problem, I am sorry to say that I can not help

  • No voice during incoming outgoing calls

Hi, if anyone faced this issue before....there is no voice heard during incoming outgoing calls. However, we are able to talk on Skype or listen to music.

To me this sounds like the RTP stream problem - it probably does not pass the firewall / nat on the way between SIP provider and you.
What may have happenned is, that either on your Belkin router/NAT, or on internet ISP's router/NAT the SIP ALG (Application Layer Gateway) was enabled.
If this is the case,  you need to disable SIP ALG on your router and/or ask your internet ISP to disable it on the firewall router.
Another issue may have been if you have (accidentaly) changed the port forwarding on your Belkin router, and/or the PAP2T local LAN IP address changed and the port forwarding no longer works.
So my proposals to check would be :
    - check and DISABLE SIP ALG on your Belkin (if router has this feature)
    - check the port forwarding on your Belkin router ... IF you setup port forwarding for 5060/61 you MUST set the same for RTP ports (16384-16483)
    - if you don't have port forwarding on your Belkin, try to setup forward of 5060-5061 AND 16384-16483*.
*(If this is too many ports, set the the RTP portrange on PAP2T to 16384-16394 for example and then forward only that range)
    - if neither of above helps, change your Line1 SIP port from 5060 to let's say 6070, and RTP ports to the range let's say 17300 - 17310
    - last you may do on your side is to remove all port forwarding and put the PAP2T to the DMZ settings of your Belkin router.

  • Incoming & Outgoing calls number must view during making call & receive call

Under one contact name I have 4 to 5 Numbers (Local & International).
During the incoming & outgoing calls I would like to know that which no I receive and vice versa under that contact name.

Called ATT...they verified the problem and said it was an intermittent signal problem....
only issue is I have to keep the phone off to make sure I received voicemails....
Definitely NOT an iPhone problem, but an ATT problem.

  • HT204266 i am looking for Apps, which can automatically record all the incoming & outgoing calls, which later on can be emailed.

I am looking for App, which can do automatically record all the incoming & outgoing calls & later on same conversation should be whatsapp or emailed.

I actually figured it out......  this was the answer:
    dial-peer voice 1 pots
    destination-pattern 1..........
    no digit-strip
    port 0/0/0
    forward-digits all

  • Incoming/outgoing calls either hang up or do not ring.

Over the last month, Skype has been giving me and others in my house issues.List of symptoms:Incoming/Outgoing calls do not ring.  However, you recieve a missed call notification.Incoming/Outgoing calls ring but are immediately dropped. This has happened to me and others in my house when using a laptop with wifi and/or a PC with an ethernet connection.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  I have the most current version on Skype (in fact, installed an update last night). I do have comcast but figured it wasn't an Internet issue since I can access all web sites.  This only seems to happen when using Skype. Anyone else having this issue?  Know of a way to fix it?  Thanks.

"Is there anyway to keep it active after hanging up on an incoming phone call. Seems this happens if the phone is in standby when it comes in and answered."
Hmmm. How is it that you're ending the call? If you're using the "End Call" option and pressing on the button, then it SHOULD stay on. I don't have the manual right here in front of me, but you could download it for yourself and see what it has to say about this. Here is the link for the pdf version.
    http://www.apple.com/support/manuals/iphone/
Hope this helps out. Oh and if you want, you can right click on that file and choose to download it to your system. Otherwise it will probably display right in your browser.

I wish to keep my incomming / outgoing calls  switched off, while 3g / E should be enabled, I dont want to be disturbed with incomming calls while surfing, is there some way to do this in Iphone 4.?

No. The only thing you can do is reject the call when it comes in.

  • 3845 Outgoing Call Problem

    Dear Experts,
Need you help with my router's capability to make call to ISDN PRI.
Before, Telco only provided 3 digits (1000 combination) and my config is working both incoming to outgoing.
But now that we changed it to 4 digit so I can map (one is to one) all my 4 digit extension to provided last 4 digit of the ISDN number.
The incoming calls are working without the need of Translation Rule, but no outgoing.
Attached is my config (along with info of "sh isdn service/stat, sh controller e1) and stat provided by Telco having the old setup and new setup which results to successful and unsuccessful results respectively.
They're saying that I don't have a proper number plan.
They're saying that they just change the 3 digits to 4 digits and so am I, but outgoing doesn't work.
I notice that state of D Channel is out of service, is it normal?
Kindly please analyze my attached info and would really appreciate anyone who can help me get the right config.
    Thank you in advance.
    Regards,
    Brian

first as long as the ephon is registred to the same router CME
    u dont need:
    dial-peer voice 2000 voip
    destination-pattern 2000
    session target ipv4:10.9.254.111
    second what this for ?
    dial-peer voice 1473 voip
    destination-pattern 1473
    session target ipv4:10.10.254.1
if the call come to ur router as 2000 then the phone that rigistered to that router CME with number 2000 will ring directly
    for outbound calls
    make the following one:
    dial-peer voice 701122000 pots
    destination-pattern 2000
    incoming called-number 2000
    direct-inward-dial
    port 1/0/0:15
    as:
    this is defualt incoming dial-peer
    dial-peer voice 701122000 pots
    incoming called-number .
    direct-inward-dial
    port 1/0/0:15
    the dial-peer voice 9 pots
has trnaslation that will trnaslte the calling number for EVERY call going out to 0701122000
if u want this number to work only with DN 2000 u can do it with out the translating like
    ephone-dn 1 dual-line
    number 2000 secondary 0701122000
if the call will come to ur CME as 2000 or 0701122000
the phone associated with DN 1 will answer
    and make the dial-peer like:
    dial-peer voice 9 pots
    destination-pattern 9[0-9].........
    port 1/0/0:15
    forward-digits 10
try it and let me know
    if helpful Rate

  • Abroad - All incoming & Outgoing Calls have Barred on HTC M9 - Need PIN to unbar

Hi. I landed in Corfu yesterday and I am on 4GEE Extra with HTC M9. Included in package is free international calls and texts. I was able to make and receive a call immediately on entering country... however after a few hours I found I could do neither. On looking at my settings I have noticed that although International Calls are Enabled, 'All Outgoing' & 'All Incoming' caals are disabled... and when trying to enable them it asks for a PIN. The obvious PINs do not work and I have never set one. I have checked over the internet and notive this has happened quite a lot. I have potentially narrowed it down to either the SIM needing reseting by EE or need a PIN2...? I cannot phone 150 so a bit stuck. Need these calls and texts to keep in touch with family so would be so grateful if someone could help please. Thank you (will come online later to check if their is a reply)

    Hi ,
It is not possible to activate roaming via your phone settings. If you can get to a landline to give us a call we will be able to activate this for you.

  • E7 Outgoing Call Problem

Recently I bought a Nokia E7 which I guess is the Nokia's one of the best launched Business Phones after a fairly longer period.
    After using it just for 2 weeks, my perception has changed. And there are couple of reasons for this;
    1. This phone is giving me lot of troubles while making calls. Most of the time I get a very annoying "Request Rejected" message pops up on the screen and this happens almost 30-40 times in a day.
    2. I was a Blackberry user and chose this phone over Blackberry Torch but now I am repenting over my decision that even after spending this huge amount I feel helpless while making calls.
I have a Vodafone connection and even called their customer care but they said that all of the services from Vodafone on my number are working fine and I am also feeling the same as the network strengh always shows to be full and I can receive the calls, send text etc.
Also, I was going through other N-8 forum and came to know that even N-8 users are facing similar issues, which some of them says that the problem arose after downloading and installing the Software Updates and some says that this is the problem of the compatibility issue of CUG (Close User Group) services with the OS.
Even I reset my phone to original factory setting but to no success. Also, I turned off the CUG services but again the same message "Request Rejected"
Now I am feeling really frustrated with my decision that I shouldn't have gone for the SYMBIAN, which actually is a headache.
I would strongly request Nokia people to look into this issue as it is not good for the image of Nokia as a Brand globally when so many other players have already there to take advantage of this.
I hope someone from Nokia will surely take some remedial action on this existing issues with E7.
    Thanks in advance.
    A Frustrated E7 User.

Just because Vodafone say all your services are working correctly , this doesn't mean the statement is true ? I've had problems with them a couple of years ago with picture messaging, which they told me was all ok and reset my phone and installed new settings, still didn't work, but after several irate calls and speaking to a supervisor, they admitted they'd 'removed' the service from my account. If you can try another sim card in the phone and see if it behaves any differently, that should tell you whether it's a handset issue or if the problem lies with VF ?
    Good Luck

  • "no voice service" no incoming/outgoing calls

Recently purchased the Q10 & for the first day & half had no dramas.
After that time I then began to experenice problems calling out. The device stating a call failure please try again later. I was in full reception & was able to use the device & it's other features without any dramas at all, using facebook & twitter etc.
I originally thought it may have something to do with my service provider. After an exhausting & frustrating phone call with them they found no issue with my service but concided that they couldn't even call my phone.
I then updated the software on the phone to the newest update. The phone worked again perfectly for about an hour until again the problem recurred.
I am sure it is a software problem as I am writing & sending this while on my Q10 in the middle of Australia where at times data coverage is a premium.
I look forward to a promt reply & solution to this issue

Hi anyo and welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums!
What version of software do you currently have installed on your BlackBerry Q10? If you insert your SIM into another device, are you able to send and receive phone calls?
    Thanks.

  • How does a single cisco router network enable outgoing calls for small businesses if no dial plan is used

    Hi Cisco techs,
I was recently asked this question at work from the rest of my team as they know I am doing studies for cisco ICND 1 & 2.
    And couldn't answer them.
Or does this require more information like hardware used etc?
Had searched Google to ambiguous results.
Can someone give me a link to advise please
    Thanks in advance again..

    Dear,
For small business (up to max 450 users) we use Call Manager Express (CME) which is configured on Cisco Voice router.
If no dial plan is used or configured then none of callmanager can do external outgoing/internal calls. Dial plan is basic thing which must be configured on cisco voice router (e.g. CME).
If you have configured Phones (ephone & ephone dn) and if they are registered on callmanager express then for internal calls you dont need to configure dial plan because callmnager have all the information of its phones.
If you want to  have external incoming/outgoing calls for CME then you will have to create dial peers/dial plan.
For a CME lab setup, you can visit below link.
