Can you get back text messages that were rejected or find out where they were from?

Text rejection

I am experiencing text rejection on my phone. I can't text certain cellular numbers in my phone or receive text from those numbers either, but we can call each other. Obviously, they are not blocked because we talk but why can I not send or receive text from these numbers?

How were the contacts in question added? Where they added from an incoming call? If so this may resolve this issue.
Remove the contacts that arn't working from Contacts, from Messaging, and the Call Log.
Perform a manual backup under Backup.
From Device Info, Reset Options, choose Erase Apps and Data. (This will delete all PIM data on the device, and then reboot)
Sign back into the your Palm profile. ( Be sure you have your correct email and password)
Add your missing contacts back to Contacts.
In the future do not add contacts from a inbound call as the same issue may result.

App to convert incoming texts to emails?

Is there an iPhone app (preferably free) that will email all incoming text messages, so I can receive my texts as emails?

Incoming texts going to old phone instead of new one.

I upgraded from iphone 4 to Nokia Lumia 928. I can call out, receive calls, and send texts on the Nokia, but all incoming text messages are still sent to my iphone. Any ideas on how to fix this? It's not real handy having to carry two phones around.

I definitely don't want you to have to carry around multiple devices! As Suzy Q mentioned it seems as though your iMessage may still be activated for your phone number. The great news is it's easy to remove. Visit this link: http://vz.to/1aTAJuM sign in with your Apple ID and remove your number from iMessages.

Incoming Text Messages Allocated to Wrong Contact

I recently recieved my Zed10 back from warranty repair for an out of the box malfunctioning headphone port and am now experiencing an issues a thousand times more frustrating. The phone is now having issues when I recieved a text message in which it will assign it to the wrong contact. I've checked the contact information, there's no duplicated numbers, the number the text is coming from is only assigned to one contact, yet thru one SMS conversation, it may appear that I am talking with 3 different individuals, which is very confusing. Before I sent my Zed10 in I did a full backup, then security wipe. I received my exact same device back from warranty, updated to the latest OS, did a restore of my backup, and now this. I went thru and deleted all the SMS history, which seemed to resolve the problem, but after about an hour it has started again. Some of the numbers it is now showing as incoming texts are not even numbers of my contacts, yet I can keep the conversation going by replying to the actual contact on my phone (if I reply to the number that it's telling me the text came from, the person on the other end has no information of any text). Has anyone experienced this? Since we don't really have contact backup options in Link like we did in DM my next "fix" attempt will be to move my contacts to my SIM card and wipe the device... again. Very glad to have my BB10 back after 2 weeks on a Curve 9300, but this is VERY frustrating.

It is NOT YOU... and PERSONALLY i get upset when Apple does not play by their own rules.
IT IS TEXT, let me over score it and hit my keys assigned to speak it.
I live with chronic pain and reading becomes near impossible. So i LIVE by speech, and listening to things. I get really ticked off cant use it in the iTunes Store, or read about Pod cast etc. Just like can past html into txt editor but cant into my notes in the address book?? come on guys.
I also am getting more and more upset about the fact i can run OS X and UNIX on my mac, and any form of Microsoft Windows, but i cant play an iOS App? Come on. What are you waiting for Google to write an app for me to run iOS Apps on my Android? This is as bad as the introduction of the iPhone and not having the ability to copy and paste. I had hounded my brother for getting into apple since 1984, and he finally broke down with the iPhone, and i did not hear the end of it not being able to search his data and do simple copy and paste.
Apple needs to expand their testing and input on general products. There are so many little simple things that could be so helpful. Remember CopyDoubler in the old mac os and it would auto update data of folders within folders when doing a copy. Very nice when working on a project and keeping a back up copy on the server.
Little things like this make a big difference, and are not much for them to incorporate into the system, and keeping thing consistent between apps, machines, new technology.
Im really ticked off ABC canceled their ABC evening news podcast and only have their iPad App. Well what if im at my Mac Pro, my iMac or my MacBook Pro. About 10 or 15 times the cost of an iPad, and yet i cant run a stupid app to catch the evening news. Heyyyyy but i can run my Windows apps. Now does that make sense?

I've heard claims it can be done, claims some have done it, and claims that it didn't work for them. This thread is interesting, some indications it should be possible, complaints that it didn't, and also an interesting work-around:

Though if you're requesting hardware changes for iPhone v2 you may want to wait a week (or a month?)...they're probably going to be inundated right now by requests for software changes to the current iPhone.

Send Incoming Texts (IMESSAGE) to My E Mail Address

I researched a post that stated to "add my email address (make sure the checkmark is there) to settings, messages, send messages to...."
I did that, and tested it but it does not work. The incoming text does not appear in my e mail in box.
I operate a business where everything has to be documented for the file. When I receive data from a client in text form, I have to be able to print the text. I did so in the past by simply e mailing the text to myself. Asking clients to not text me is not an option.
I converted to IPHONE today from Android, and cannot find anything similar to the Zee Software app that specifically allows any text to be sent to any desired e mail address. I have done quite a bit of searching and am not finding anything commensurate w/ IPHONE.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't be the only IPHONE user that has to print their texts but I can't seem to find any solution.
I'm aware of the screenshot method but that is not a feasible long term solution b/c most of my incoming texts and threads are longer than one screen-shot's worth of data.

How are you trying to change it ?
You should be able to log out of an account by clicking on it at the top left of the store's pages on your computer's iTunes, or via the Store > Sign Out menu option (if you are using a PC and the drop-down menus aren't showing at the top of iTunes then control-B should get them to show). You can then sign in with your own account (the Store > Sign Out menu option should change to a Sign In option) - does that work ?

Using home button to silence incoming texts

I used to be able to silence the tone on an incoming phone call or text message by clicking the home button or one of the volume buttons. That has recently stopped working. Now, when I receive a text and need to silence it without reading it, the home button doesnt silence the text and i have to listen to the entire text tone. How can i silence incoming texts easily?

Longshot, but try resetting:
Hold both the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple boot logo appears. No data will be lost.
As for the font size, try Settings > General > Accessibility > Large Text, and change it to the desired size.
