"incompatible device" warning messages
Hi,
I get "incompatible device" warning messages on my phone/ I guess the reason is a misic device I tryed to connect. How can I stop yjose messages? Factory settings + restore didn't work...
Thanks,
Nadav.
The warning messages are fine and normal. (You may want to sellect a different build folder, looks lik eyou are building to where your apps are?)
Not sure about how you are trying to burn them (I use Toast or DVD SP itself), but in general make a new disc, then add the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders

Warning Message in Console Icon
I just moved from PC to Mac. I have a new imac and I want to transfer my files to my mac. I have a maxter one touch 4 mini drive with all my documents, pictures and music. It is a locked drive unfortunately. I tried to connect it to my mac and got a warning message on my console icon. When I click on that I have a bunch of files see below. I am not sure what to do, Should I delete them or are they usable. I need some direction as to what if anything I can do. If I need to delete please tell me how to do it. Thank you in advance for any help.
Regards
Gary

IMHO this is natural coming from the Windows world where managing your system is difficult, not so with OS X. Warning message about Rx power high on Catalyst 4900M
We get the following warning messages in the log on our 4900M:

Warning message on BB Desktop Software.
Hello, there was a new update for my curve. So I plugged it up to v4.7 of desktop, and it wanted me to update it. so I did. I brought up a warning message, saying : " After completing the loading operation, you must activate you device wirelessly to continue to send and recieve messages and use other blackberry services. If you dont want to continue with this loading operation, click cancel." Um, what does this mean?
Funny quote-- " Want an Iphone theme? Buy an Iphone."after the update, your device will reboot, upon the reboot you will need to go through the wizard again... during the wizard.. you need to turn your network on... it asks you and you say yes... then after wizard is done... goto options.. host routing table... menu... register now
please do a backup befre you do the upgrade and pull out your media card if you have one -

Edited by: Suprabhat99 on May 18, 2011 3:23 PMHi Suprabhat,
Please check if all the Query restrictions like variables, selection options, interval, hierarchy etc is same for Source and Target Query for that paticular char - 0FISCPER.
Then Incase there is no discrepancy in above types then please check SAP note 1265027:

PSAPPD1 ONLINE* ONLINEHi again
Please let me know whether we need to put the parameter remote_login_password=exclusive in pfile or spfile
I prefer the spfile, just:
SQL> alter system set remote_login_passwordfile = exclusive scope = spfile;
To grant sysoper to system:
SQL> grant sysoper to system;
And restart the instance.

How to disable Disk Insertion warning message?
I'm running OS X 10.4.8 from an external FW drive, reserving the internal HD on my MacBook for Linux. When booting OS X a warning message pops up: "Disk Insertion - The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer" with action buttons Initialize..., Ignore, Eject . This must refer to the internal HD, as OS X apparently can't handle Linux partitions. Hitting Ignore, or waiting a while, makes the message go away.
My fear is that one of these days I'll hit the Initialize... button by mistake, hosing my Linux partitions in the process. Any gurus out there know how to turn this dangerous (for me) message off?
N.B. I also posted this message on the MacBook forum, but got no response there... sorry for this, I really want to remove this potential landmine...
MacBook Mac OS X (10.4.8)No. If you fail to eject any disk device properly then there's a risk that cached data will not be fully written thus corrupting the device's data.
This doesn't happen with an iPad or iPod when syncing has stopped because the sync process does not leave cached data unwritten until the device is ejected unless you remove it before a sync has completed. It will happen, however, if you use the iPod in disk mode. The iPad has no default disk mode. You must use a third-party app in order to read or write directly from an iPad. The issue is also academic for iPads and some iPods that do not have disk drives. -
Warning message when launching iTunes
I upgraded to iTunes8 and on launching iTunes, the following error message appears "The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CD's and DVD's are missing. This can happen as a result of other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes." I then reinstalled the "Repair" from the downloaded file (iTunes8Setup), but the warning message still appears after rebooting my computer and launching iTunes . I then removed iTunes from my computer and reinstalled iTunes from this download (iTunes8Setup). I rebooted my computer and launched iTunes, same result. Any ideas on how I can fix this warning message. Please note this warning message did not appear when launching my previous version of iTunes.
I do not burn any CD's so don't have one to insert into the drive to test the diagnostics. No I am not running 64 bit version of XP.
See below results from rinning the diagnostics.

Warning Message when entering BIOS!!
hi.. I have a K8N Neo2 platinum, 2*512MB Twinmos DDR400, 80 GB Seagate PATA, PowerColor9800Pro. so.. when I press Del to enter BIOS there is a warning message is shown to me "Warning: Have option ROM can not be invoke (Vendor ID:10DEh, Device ID: 00DFh) NVIDIA RAID IDE ROM BIOS 4.81 Copyright (c) 2004 NVIDIA Corp. Detecting array ..." this is the message. it flashes on the screen and then enters the BIOS.. The problem appeard when I updated my BIOS version 1.8 to 1.A0. I updated 1.B0, but it's still the same. there one more thing; when windows starts my mouse dont work. I have unplag and then plag again to make it work.. What can I do for both of my problems... thanks a lot..
Warning: Have option ROM can not be invoke (Vendor ID:10DEh, Device ID: 00DFh) .
Option ROM is in this case the PCI ROM file embedded in bios for nvpxe ( boot from network)
There is something broken in the bios boot options and this ROM file .
Device ID: 00DF is the
NVIDIA Network Bus Enumerator Driver
It's not normal , and in fact there is something broken for boot options in all 1.9/1.A and 1.B bioses .
My guess it is related to the work msi have done with more usb boot type media .
But it's related to network boot and does not affect most of us as network PXE booting is
seldom used .
Other things thats brooken is boot from addin disk controller PCI cards internal bios .
If you have this you will get a second warning with that cards vendor id and device id . -
MI warning messages on to client.
Hi All,
We came up with a problem in MI, can somebody help us...?
We are using MAM3.0 on MI2.5SP21, the problem is that user creates some documents on the device, due to some reason it didn't reach the R/3 and displays a warning message in MI (Merep_Mon).
Here neither the user knows that his data has not reached R/3, not it shows a error log for warnings in MI. Also since it is not in error log, this data can not be reprocessed on the client.
So is there a way to send the warning logs also to the MI client for display from MI.
Thanks & Regards,
Sai Krishna.KHi Larissa,
I understand that for Consistancy that data is deleted from the device and on error it will sit in middleware , where you can reprocess this data after fixing the data problem.
My problem here is
The middle ware inbound process shows no errors, so we expect that data reached in backed but which is not, neither its in MI client device. when we check log for this particular item in middleware indound process, it's warning. Since its in waring state we cannot reprocess the data.
So when the message is warning either the user knows that there is a problem looking on device, nor the MI monitoring person knows that there is a warning untill he navigates to each individual log. and infact nobody from R/3 knows that there was a data change attempt failed.
So here if the warning messages are highlited in the MI monitor at the In & out bound sequence status it self similar to errors, then at least the MI monitoring person will be aware of the problems with out navigating to each individual item log.
As a whole is there a config setting to show the warning and alert items at the record sequnece status screen itself similar to errors.
If you need further explanation of the problem, please inform me..
Thanks & regards,
Sai krishna.K -

Manishfor #1, Service Constructor defaults to the abstract WSDL. There are two modes for definition of ABCS. 1. Developer is designing the service but does not have a target system in mind. The service is compilable, but not runnable. When the service is being deployed to a target server, the bindings will have to be added. 2. Developer has a target system (such as dev/test) in mind. The developer would go ahead and specify the concrete WSDL location for the CAVS and error handling runtime.

I'm having thet same registry issues with my CD-/DVD as is talked about in one of the fix articles I've found here. I added the UpperFilter entry to the registry since it was not there and restarted. This fixes the warning message but then there's no CD/DVD device shown at all in windows. I can put it back to normal and vice versa and get the same results, but I can't get this issue fixed. When I get the registry warning on starting iTunes, I can still rip from CDs and my DVD burner works just fine using other programs.
Any more ideas? This fixes the warning message but then there's no CD/DVD device shown at all in windows.
That symptom suggests the afs.sys issue ... but there's some other things that might cause it too.
We'd better check to see if we can find what's going on.
Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here. -

Hi durkinjt!
To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know what operating system you are using and where you see the error message. That way, community will be able to assist you with suggestions appropriate for your product.

When I start the computer I warning message flashes but I can't see what it says
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the libxml2.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "libxml2.dll"
3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Paste file "libxml2.dll" to the location.
5. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.
Good Luck -
Why does my iMac (on occasion) not shut down, warning message comes on saying i have to switch off by pressing and holding the power button then restart, something to do with a Panic report?
