Incomplete Downloads over 750M cannot be resumed

This has been a problem since forever. I have successfully downloaded many many TV Shows and movies. However, sometimes I start downloading a TV Show, it gets interrupted. Many times this interrupted download has already downloaded 750M work of the TV Show. THEN, I can't resume the download. I get the error "There was a problem downloading " ... ". An unknown error occurred (-50).
And the ONLY answer I have ever seen from Apple is....delete the .tmp file and start again. Unacceptable! Occasionally when this happens I'm on a metered internet. That means I have just lost over 750M worth of data that I am paying a premium for. Seriously? There is not a better answer out there?

It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is otherwise interfering with downloading files.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

Could you please tell me indetail...
Im able to download if im in internal network, bz it is directly pinging from server in IE 6.0 and 7.0. Problem is only with External facing, that too with IE 6.0, 7.0. In firefox im able to downlad the file even using reverse proxy , and internal network.
What i guess is problem within reverse proxy setup & configurations or IE broweser.?

Have same copy of book with incomplete download. Cannot read and cannot delete entries.

Have downloaded iBooks with ePub. Some were incompletely downloaded. Cannot read and more importantly cannot Delete. Connecting iPad 3 to MacBook Air does not show incomplete downloads. How to remove as selecting edit and tapping on icons yields nothing.

I've had the same issue for the past two weeks and have finally been able to resolve it.
For references, I have my iPhone syncing to the following settings:
1. iTunes Match (OFF)
2. Automotic Download (OFF)
3. iCloud (OFF)
I'm guessing my solution would still work if your syncing has been configured differently, but I've only tested this solution with the above configurations.
1. Make sure all the songs you want are also backed up in your iTunes (because you will be deleting it off your iPhone).
2. On your iPhone, access the Music app and navigate to a filter that contains the affected songs: i.e.
     a. Album
     b. Artist
     c. Genre
     d. Anything that the duplicate songs (the one with the odd play buttons) are grouped within. For me, all the duplicate songs were within one particular album. So, I selected the Album (I could have easily selected the artist as well, but that would have deleted more songs than necessary). If your duplicate songs are scattered across albums and artists, this could take awhile depending on how many songs are duplicated.
3. Swipe to delete the "Album," "Artist," "Genre,' etc. Not the song. You won't be able swipe to delete the song and will be eternally frustrated by this.
4. Re-sync your songs with iTunes.
5. Nasty, weird, non-playing duplicate songs should now be gone.

Downloading only restarts, cannot resume

I go to a web site and start downloading a file. The download window comes up, and the file appears there and starts downloading. If I click the little "x", the file stops downloading as it should. But if I click the arrow to reload, the file download starts all over; it doesn't resume from where it left off.
I tried right clicking on the file name, and then choosing Resume: same behavior.
I have Safari version 5.0.4.
I thought interrupted downloads were supposed to be able to pick up where they left off.

Open a Finder window. Select your Home folder in the Sidebar on the left. Open the LIbrary folder then the Safari folder.
Move the Downloads.plist file from the Safari folder to the Trash.
Restart your Mac.

I set up Icloud, now when I try to listen to a song on my ipone 5s it asks me if I want to "download over cellular"? and additional fees may apply. I've already bought this music, why would there be any more fees?

I bought my first Iphone - the Iphone S about a month ago. I was able to listen to music no problem. I recently figured out how to get my photos off of my phone and on to my PC, but was prompted to sign up for ICloud to do it. Now when I try to listen to music on my phone, it asks me to download it from Icloud and asks "download over cellular"? "Additional fees may apply when downloading phones over cellular". I've already bought all my music, why would there be more fees and shouldn't ICloud have mentioned this? Seems I need to take a class just to figure all this out.

The clouds you see next to your music on the device and iCloud are two different things. When your music is not on your device it is in iTunes in the Cloud. Not the same thing as iCloud which is used to sync information between devices and house backups of your device contents. So that little cloud you see next to your songs is telling you that the music is not on your device. That's why it is giving you the message - because when you click on it, it is attempting to download it to your device.
What may have happened is when you imported your photos to the PC, you may have sync'd your device via iTunes, and you did not have the Sync Music option checked in your device Profile screen.
Hook up your device to your PC and open iTunes. Make sure the sidebar is showing (Control+S if you cannot see the sidebar with Devices listed), and click on your device to open the Device Profile screens to the right. Click on the Music tab, and make sure that the Sync All Music or Sync Selected Music box is checked. If you have Sync Selected Music checked, then below that, make sure you check all music that you want on your device. Then click on SYNC at the bottom (or APPLY).
Once you have successfully sync'd your music to your device, you will no longer see the cloud next to the songs, and you also will no longer get a message since you will have the songs physically on your device and not in iTunes in the Cloud.

Not on your end, no. Once an item enters the download queue, the user cannot remove it. Either let it complete the download (easiest) or contact the iTunes Store customer support department through the form linked from the bottom of their Download FAQ web page and ask them if they'll remove the item from your queue for you.

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

I purchased an album on iTues from my MAC book Pro & the song downloads were incomplete. The song length shows correctly in the column, but they cut off between 1/4 & 1/2 way through the songs. Now, I dwonloaded it on my iPhone 4 through my itunes account after the purchase & the songs play fine. This happened with the very next song I purchased, as well.
I got around this issue, then created mp3 versions of all the songs, put them in their own playlist, then "Burned an mp3 disc." When it completed, the songs were in a different order.
Are there any fixes for either of these problems/bugs?

Since upgrading to 7.0.3 (iPhone 5 64gb, with iTunes Match enabled) all of my music wiped off my phone. Downloading it again, most of the artwork has been mixed up with other artists, and I'm no longer able to stream or download over 3G? Any ideas?

Lastly since upgrading to iOS 7.0.1 (and beyond) Genuis has become effectively useless: it continually asks me to connect to wi-fi, and if I do it creates playlists mostly composed of tracks by the same artists or those very obviously linked to them- previously it created brilliant, nuanced playlists.
Are these things connected, and how do I fix them?

I have done this on numerous occasions but I think that my Iphone has a defect. After many tries, reinstalls, deletion of content, changing content to be stored on external hard drive, deleting itunes and cleaning computer I managed to get all of the songs on and things seemed okay for a while.
The problem returned about a week ago after downloading a new album from Itunes. I now have 12.5k of songs leaving 10gb spare on Iphone which should be more than enough room to operate properly. Last night it seemed to be dowloading ok (after doing all of the above again for the umpteenth time) this morning it revealed that it had just synched 2.5k of songs and 18gb of "other" on the contents bar. it wont synch now as it says its over capacity. So the 18gb of "other" would probably be corrupted data that means it must corrupt each song as it tries to synch it.
The 2.5k of songs it did synch are working on the Iphone as is every song in the library on Itunes. I did completely delete the new album I bought and redownloaded it from the store then tried to synch just that album and it worked fine.

Check Finderr->Preferences->General and ensure that HDs are selected for display. If so and they still don't, Reset the NVRAM/PRAM and Reset the SMC, and see if that does the trick.

This error occurs when I submit my JSP, go to my screenflow to perform an automatic activity, return to my JSP and attempt to submit the form again. This worked in 5.7.
Is there a way to turn off the autologin in 10gR3 Studio?

I started from scratch on my JSP and the problem was resolved. Apparently there was an error somewhere in my JSP.
