Incomplete installation of APE 10

When I was installing APE 10 I left the room to get a soda.
When I came back the screen said to insert Disk 2 but when I tried to eject Disk 1 the tray would not open so I could put in Disk 2.
My question...
I'm thinking the installation did not complete because whatever is on Disk 2 did not get installed.
I got back to the desktop and rebooted.
Then I put in Disk 1 again and now I am asked if I want to uninstall APE 10 which is not the case.
What do I need to do to finish the installation?

Yes I can open Photoshop Elements 10.
I am running the Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit version.
It didn’t occur to me there were disks for the 32-bit, 64-bit and Mac versions.
I just inserted Disk 1, when I began the installation.
When Disk 1’s part of the installation finished I was prompted to insert Disk 2.
It was at that point I was not allowed (could not) open the DVD tray to insert Disk 2.
My experience with other applications that come on multiple disk is that the software opens the DVD tray for you and prompts you to insert the next disk.
I got back to the desktop but don’t remember exactly what I did.
Today when I insert Disk 2 and clicked Autoplay.exe I get the message Allow the following program to make changes…, to which I clicked yes.
At that point the screen updates with a button to Install Adobe Premier Elements 10 Trial.
I closed the window without installing Adobe Premier Elements 10 Trial — I don’t know at this point if I even want it.
So then I inserted Disk 1 again and clicked Autoplay.exe and clicked Yes to allow the program to make changes.
The next dialog says…
The InstallShield Wizard will allow you to remove Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. To continue click Next.
The next dialog entitled Program Maintenance has two check boxes
Remove Preferences which is unchecked and
Deactivate your application which is checked by default.
Also there is two wordy paragraphs entitled IMPORTANT: (I don’t want to type in the text of both)
I don’t understand the ramifications of those paragraphs so I clicked Cancel and exited to the desktop.
All I want to accomplish is do a fresh install of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and hopefully get the 64-bit version installed on my computer.
Can you help me with a clarification of what I am to do to accomplish this?

Please help! I uninstalled the corrupt version X before this installation attempt.
I also still have Acrobat Pro 9 on my machine as backup (for this precise reason) but don't believe this is the problem as they have co-existed without a problem for near a month now. The corruption in version X occured after this morning's failed update from Adobe.

Thank you! That did indeed do the trick
Must have been a font or something causing the problems, as opening in safe mode allowed the software to install correctly.

Exchange 2013 incomplete installation - click Next stuck at 0%

Hi All
Recently we're upgrading exchange 2007 sp3 to Exchange 2013, but I encountered a wierd problem during the exchange 2013 install.
Everything was good during schema prep, adprep, domainprep.
During the installation, it had a problem with discoverysearch mailbox, i followed one of the article over the net, which is disabled it and then re-enabled, then successfully resumed installation. (It's 10/14 steps at that time, which is mailbox role)
BUT, few seconds later after resume, the installation window disappear, I am not sure whether it's running at backend or it's just stopped running, so i waited and waited for nearly 1:30 minutes. I checked all the services, it seems to be all started.
I try to run the setup from installation media again, the first window saying is "incomplete installation detected", then I click next, it's just stuck at 0% percent.
I restarted computer, after reboot it's still showing me incomplete installation detected, then click next, it will stay at 0%.
If i try to open ECP page, it throws me an error, same as OWA. For some reason, the ECP doesn't use port 443, instead it's using 444. Both error looks like there's some configurations missing. It looks like the client access role hasn't been installed successfully,
as in my IIS, the default website only shows powershell under its virtual directory.
I am wondering if anyone has experienced any of the above problem, any solutions?

I managed to fix this issue by installing exchange 2013 cu1, by running /m:upgrade switch.
Then i found my client access role hasn't been installed (must be something happened during the original installation).
I ticked client access role, and started to install, but it shows this:

Trouble with incomplete installation of Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium

Hi,
I tried to install Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium from CD:s, but half way through the installation something went wrong and installation was abruptly interrupted and cancelled. I then went to disc 1 again to try and re-install the program, but then it says that I already have an installation (even if it is incomplete) and that I have to finish installing the one I have already started. But I cannot finish the one that is already started because I can't find any way how to continue an installation that has been started.
What can I do?

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details. We don't even know what version. For starters run the cleaner tool and try again.

Lightroom installing problem - incomplete installation

Hi, I a CC user and trying to install Lightroom, and each and every time I try to install the software, it stops in arount 70% progress and says there were some issues.
Here is the error code I got:

After the installation of the ORACLE(software and Database) i got this error message.....

Flex 2: Incomplete Installation?

I just downloaded and installed Flex 2 trial version. It
appeared to install OK even though the installer disappears while,
"installing Merge Module".
Flex appears in the Program Files and as an uninstallable
application in the Add/Remove Software Panel.
I've tried uninstalling, restarting and reinstalling with the

Thanks for the heads up. I don't know why, but your advice
worked. It's as if the installer doesn't recognize the application
unless you drag it and copy it onto your desktop (hard drive). I
downloaded and ran from the installer to no avail. I'm running on
Mac OSX Leopard. I don't know if you're issue was on Windows.
Your advice was a lifesaver. I spent an hour on the phone
with tech support (don't get me started) to only have them tell me
that they can't solve my problem over the phone and that I had to
submit a support case via the support portal. I get to the support
portal and the system doesn't recognize my recent purchase, so i
can't create a support case. I try looking for a link to create a
general support case...find a link...click on it...and it loads a
page not found error. Don't get me wrong. I love Adobe products. i
don't think they're a money grubbing company. They're just a
product company, nothing more. nothing less.
But, man, did they screw the pooch on this release.

A required file (C:Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\flahplayer.xpt:5) could not be written while I was installing downloaded flash player update in Windows 7 due to insufficient permissions. how do I get sufficient permissions?

Administrative permissions are necessary so that the Adobe Flash Player installer can access the Windows system registry and the following folder:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash folder for a 32-bit machine
C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash folder for a 64-bit machine
In Windows Vista® and Windows 7®, regardless of your permissions, you can run any application as an administrator. To run an application as an administrator, right-click the filename and select Run As Administrator. Provide the administrator ID and password when prompted.

Incomplete installation from CD's

I have tried several work-arounds but my install is stuck. After installing from CD1 I remove the CD and reboot. I can log in to a command line prompt. But the installation has stopped. For instance I have no volmgt in /etc/init.d so I cannot manually mount the CD.
How can I resume the installation after completing CD1?

What did installation did you use (gui, cli, etc.) and what selection did you install? A normal or a minimal setup? Because I can understand something like this with a minimal setup, but the normal proceding is that you get into the rest of the installation procedure after which the system will ask you for the other CD's.

Incomplete installation Technical Content

Again I have a problem with Techincal Content. I've installed TC with transaction SPRO, and the installed dataflows were not complete (4-5 Multiproviders). I tried to (re)install it manually by choosing one Multiprovider at the time and the "dataflow before" option in RSA1-> BI Content.
One example is Multiprovider DTP-statistics (0TCT_MC22), which has two dataflows "before", both coming from the same datasource 0TCT_DS22. One flow, where next to the technical name of the datasource it says ABDCLN100 (our BW development environment) is installed correctly and there is no need to reinstall it.
Buttt, the flow "coming" from the same datasource and where the AEDCLN400 (our ECC development environment) is stated next to the technical name of datasource, cannot be installed. The message is that several datasources (including 0TCT_DS22 ) does not exist for QS AEDCLN400.
I hope my story is clear, if not I made a screenprint.

As I have stated earlier, this is the wrong way of Installation of COCKPIT.
In your case, you have installed by choosing both the source system thats why you can see two entries.
For the Duplicate entries of data sources from the R/3 you need to remove the assignment and delete the entry present in RSA1.
If its too complex for you, then leave it... and try reinstalling the COCKPIT for your BW system alone and check if all the objects comes properly or not?
Delete the entries present in the transport which was stored earlier during the COCKPIT installation.. And try collecting the objects once again using transport connector and also make sure that you choose the BW source system for collecting the objects.

hi i was installing os x leapord to my tiger...but i had to stop that installation as i had to go somewhere so i did quit the installation but when it asked to restart it gave me options of osx leapord windows and in hurry i clicked on osx 10.5 leapord...and unfortunately its not starting now i can only see apple screen nothing else....
please help me.....what shall i do to resolve this....

Your OS X drive is very likely hosed now, if you interrupted an upgrade or archive & install of Leopard over Tiger. Back up your data, erase/reformat your drive, and reinstall Leopard.

Incomplete installation of lightroom on a mac, will not let me empty from trash?

Hi, thanks for your help I have downloaded Lightroom and tried to install it on my mac but a message came up saying error a problem with installation. This application is not fully installed
and I don't know how to uninstall it, I have tried to put it in the trash but will not empty. Also I have tried through Finder- Utilities- Adobe- but it does not show up as it is not fully installed,

I had the same problem, but with Firefox 4.0. My first thought was to update Firefox (after of course restarting FF), but that didn't help it and I had the same problem.
Among others, I had an extension installed and enabled called Tile Tabs 4.10 that I thought could feasibly creating this problem. So I went into my add-ons manager and disabled it, restarted Firefox and the tabs worked properly again. Unfortunately, the Tile Tabs extension is my favorite Firefox add-on and I use it almost every day for managing my web work tasks. I went to the add-on page for Tile Tabs and saw that there was a notice that version 4.10 didn't work properly on Mac OS, and to install version 4.9 of the extension. I saw they had a new, not-yet-reviewed version 4.11 that addressed the Mac OS problem, installed it, and everything seems to be working properly.
I have no idea why all of a sudden I had this problem, as I hadn't updated Firefox or the Tile Tabs extension recently. Also, obviously this might not address your problem, especially if you don't have that add-on installed and enabled. But our problem started at the same time for both of us it appears based on your post time, so its probably not coincidence.
But its worth a look, and you might want to check out other extensions if you don't have Tile Tabs that could be causing the problem.

What do I do with an incomplete installation?

I have Mac 10.9 on my computer. I forgot I had a demo version of PS CS6 on my computer. The CC had me uninstall this and then it installed an incomplete version of PS CC. I uninstalled that version and now CC will not allow me to reinstall PS.

that said, are either currently installed? if yes, uninstall.
then run the cleaner, http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html for both and restart your computer.
