Hi gurus,
I started with SP stack upgrade to 10(Install SAP EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Stack 10 with Kernel 7.20).
--First i did kernel upgrade from 701 patch 111 to 720 patch 105 which was successfull.
--Now when i tried to upgrade the stack it gives me below error:

Hi Siddharth,
Is Kernel upgrade to 720 really required for Support package stack upgrade ?
because information clearly states "Error in the SAP kernel" rather i would suggest to upgrade your SAP system kernel to latest of 701 patch level 150
Once you revert kernel to 701 , then try applying Support packages via client 000.
Let us know results

I can see there is error on Table MC02M_0ITM:
Table MC02M_0ITM could not be activated (E- Field ZZUNDTSORT in table MC02M_0ITM is specified twice. Please check )
when I run the program RSDDCHECK in your system, for check the structure "MC02M_0ITM".
There is som error.
Any Idea how can I solve this kind of error. Is it some repport for help this?

Inconsistency in the Dictionary for structure COMT_BSP_BP_SEAREQ_DIVERSE

Please could someone help me out on this one. I am new to ABAP and CRM Technical and have just started my career on this new track. I am getting "Inconsistency in the Dictionary for the structure COMT_BSP_BP_SEAREQ_DIVERSE" on the WebUI as error when I am logging into it -this error has got generated after I was trying to create a field using AET on WebUI. I have taken the help of another ABAPer who is presently more adept that me and he used st22 to identify that a class 'CL_BUPA_IL_SEARCH_SERVICE' is not getting activated which is resulting in this error. There is 'Inconsistency in the Dictionary for the structure "COMT_BSP_BP_SEAREQ_DIVERSE".' The BASIS guys have told me that I need to find some note to get this fixed - I have never done this. We are in ECC 6.0. After inputting plan data for GL using TCode GP12N, I am trying to run the report F.01. However the system is giving the error "Inconsistency in the Dictionary for the structure "FAGLPOSX"". Has anyone faced this problem before? Do I have to activate something before I start planning? Do help if you have a solution for the same.

Hi,
Solved!! I had incorrectly added EBELN in the additional fields for line item display config. This resulted in the EBELN field appearing twice in FAGLPOSX and hence the error.

How to find out the aligning Data dictionary table for a structure.

As the table controls are associated with strucures, the data input goes to the data dictionary table aligned to that structure. Is there any way we can find out the table related to that particular structure ?

Hi,
The structure and its fields may be associated with multiple database tables.
You can try by where-used list of the structure/field and then you can look and determine the table by hit and try method.
Also as suggested above you can try get the SQL trace and then ypu can look for table associated behind the structure/fields I believe this is the best way to find the DB table.

Ho to get the structure for a subnode

Hi Experts,
I am an beginner in webdynpro abap - sorry for this simple question, but I have not found an answer.
I have a context node generated from a interactive form. Let's call this node 'node1'.
Within this node I have a subnode 'subnode1' containing the elements for an internal table.
My simple question is: Ho can I get the structure of the subnote element?
I mean, this is clear for me:
DATA:
ls_node1 TYPE wd_this->element_node1.
But how about:
ls_subnode1 type ?????????????????
I guess the answer is quite simple... Thanks for your help.

Hi,
This will be of the same type that you declared while creating the context node element node1. You may go to the context node tab to see the dictionary structure. Alternatively you double click on wd_this which would display the inferface for wd_this and search for element_node1 there.

Can i change the dictionary for spell checking

Hi,
I am using the trial version of robo help and I am testing
how the support for german is.
I changed my project to german (file / project setings /
language). The result up to now is, that there is german spell
checking, but the dictionary used doesn't know all words that I' m
using. Of course I can add word by word to the dictionory, but I
dont't like to do this hard job.
Is there a way to use the dictionary which MS Word is using,
which would be very fine for me?

Hi all
I did a bit of digging around and here is what I've
discovered. Hopefully it will help?
I am using Word 2003, so the method outlined here is for that
version. Note that I'm not a particularly rabid Word user, as I
tend to avoid it if at all possible, so I suppose other versions
may differ. Additionally, I'm assuming here that you are referring
to the personal dictionary and not one that is supplied by virtue
of installing Word or some other component.
In Word, I located the personal dictionary. (Tools >
Options... > Spelling & Grammar tab > Custom
Dictionaries... button) This listed the "Full path" of
C:\...\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof\CUSTOM.DIC. I find this
mildly amusing, as I can't truly see the "full path" and am left
wondering what lies between C:\ and \Application Data. I mean, ...
could be anything, no?
So on a hunch, I looked in the following location:
C:\Documents and Settings\Rick Stone\Application
Data\Microsoft\Proof
As luck would have it, there was CUSTOM.DIC all big as life
and twice as natural.
Suspecting it was a simple ASCII text file as the RoboHelp
HTML personal dictionary is, I tried opening it using Windows
Notepad. Sure enough, it popped open. Seems to simply list terms
with no other information.
So at this point, we know how to access the contents of the
personal dictionary for Word 2003. Now let's look at RoboHelp HTML,
shall we?
In RoboHelp HTML, you click Tools > Spelling Options...
> Dictionaries tab. Here, you should see Personal Dictionary.tlx
listed in the left panel bearing the label of "Used dictionaries:"
(Sorta sounds like a library sale, eh?) To the right of the file
name, in the same pane, you should see the path listed. Mine reads:
file://C:/Documents and Settings/Rick Stone/Application
Data/eHelp/Lexicons/Personal Dictionary.tlx
I opened it using Windows Notepad and here is what I see:

I have some really odd terms in there. And for good reason!
During my initial spelunking, it appears that a particular
structure is in place. So I tested by adding terms along with
different options for each term. The terms listed are matched to
the option used when you click the Modify... button on the Spelling
Options dialog.
1boffo i
1boffo is the term and the i means "No action" is the option
used for the term.
2xzxz azxzx
2xzxz is the term and the a means "Auto Change" is the option
used for the term. The zxzx following the a indicates the term to
automatically change to.
3ppp ApPp
3ppp is the term and the A means "Auto Change (Preserve
Case)" is the option used for the term. The pPp following the A
indicates the term to automatically change to.
4azx cxza
4azx is the term and the c means "Change" is the option used
for the term. The xza following the c inidicates the term to offer
to change to.
5winnie CWiNnIe
5winnie is the term and the C means "Change (Preserve Case)
is the option used for the term. The WINnie following the C
indicates the term to offer to change to.
6garbo e
6garbo is the term and the e means "Treat as misspelled" is
the option used for the term.
Sooo, having looked all that over, it would seem as simple as
copying the contents of the original Personal Dictionary from Word,
then opening the Personal Dictionary from RoboHelp HTML and pasting
the terms in. Then try modifying them a tad by inserting an "i"
following the term. I'm not sure if a tab is what was used between
the term and the i, so it may take a bit of trial and error.

Name of the structure needed for sales order user exit

Hi,
I am planning to write a user exit which will insert the data into my ztable the moment the new sales order is created and is saved.
I have identified FORM USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT as the necessary user exit. But the problem is that while inserting the data into the ztable I cannot insert the data from vbak as the data will be inserted into this table after the SO is saved.
Thus I need to identify a structure which is used to populate the vbak table so that it simultaneously inserts the data in the ztable as well. Can anyone help me with the name of the structure so that these fields i.e. vbeln, vkorg, vtweg, spart are inserted into my ztable?
Also need to know how to convert the net value i.e. vbak-netwr in Indian Rupees as it gets stored as Dollars ....

Hi,
One of the structure being used is RV45A, there are several other str's being used as well for various calculations,
check out program SAPMV45A for the same.
& in order to convert vbak-netwr to rupees use the below statemetnt,
WRITE vbak-netwr TO zvbak-netwr CURRENCY INR.

Is there a way to update an external dictionary for services without migrating the services
Is there a way to update a common external dictionary used by many services without migrating each and every service that uses the dictionary. I have updated the table in the database and the external dictionary in our Development Environment. The external dictionary is used by many services. When I migrate the changed service to TEST/STAGE/PROD environments (NOTE: the table has been updated in the TEST/STAGE/PROD Databases), only the changed service is having the external dictionary updated. All other services that use the same external dictionary are NOT updated. I have the following questions
Is it possible to migrate dictionaries so that all the services which are using that dictionary are updated?
If the first one is not possible, Is there any other way to update the external dictionary without migrating all the services that use dictionary?

since in this case you dont seem to have a key value to figure out what your header is, it is better to go for a two level mapping. i.e first read all the data - each line as an xml tag. and in the first mapping group it as required and then use it for your original mapping.

Customise table inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and the databas

Hi all,
I have encountered a problem where by, I was not able to activate a table due to inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and the database.
After I run the SE14--> Check Database object. It has show that there is a missing Unique Index(Primary Index) at the Database Level, but at ABAP Dictionary it is there.
I have try to recreate the primary index at the Database level, but failed. Because one of the primary key field is been dropped from this table.
So now, may I know how can I still make this table Active again?
Is it save to folllow the following solution that I found on internet?
Syntax error in SDCC, table inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and the database, transport error 8 during the generation of ABAP Dictionary. When you call Transaction SDCC, a termination occurs due to a putative syntax error because a table is not known or active. When you check this with the ABAP dictionary (SE11), you notice, that the table is active or inactive, however it is not possible to activate it. The activation might terminate with the error message 'Inconsistency between ABAP Dictionary and database'. A check of the affected object also delivers this error.
Solution
Proceed as follows:
Log on as user DDIC
Call Transaction SE14
Enter the affected table name and
select EDIT
In the following screen, choose Table -> Reconstruct
Confirm the execution
Call Transaction SE11
Enter the affected table name
Display
Activate

The first two characters in each record is constant , so this would be the keyfields right?

Hi.
if you need to convert an EDI to XML you need to use an Adapter specific (e.g Seeburger) because PI doesn't support EDI files.
Also if you use a FCC , this configuration is for two level Header and Detail.

I am getting the following error when extracted the delta upload into BI
No Component found for the structure for article 809875.
The extractor is 2LIS_02_SCL.
The following is the msg in the status bar.

How you remove the error depends on the error message.
Note
If the source system is a Client Workstation, then it is possible that the file that you wanted to load was being edited at the time of the data request. Make sure that the file is in the specified directory, that it is not being processed at the moment, and restart the request.
I have replicated and activated the datasource. But still i am getting this error. How to fix it.

Activate ur datasource in source system and replicate and also activate in BI system.This is a time stamp problem.After activated try to run ur infopackage again.It should be fine now.

The PSKEY is related to teh PSNNNN structure that is associated with the data of a given info type. the PSKEY holds INFTY for processing info type data genericaly in background programs through generic structures, IE: pass any info type structure to a FM. This INFTY field allowed the programs to know which info type structure is being processed unlike the PAKEY which is used to save infotype data in the back end system at the DB level.

I working with Oracle Content Server 10g and Desktop Integration Suite and I will like to know how can I restrict or enable some specific metadatas from the default metadata, for differents content folder. This is different from the function: Information Field Inherit Configuration.

I am a bit unclear about your question:
- do you ask about metadata assigned to folders, or
- do you ask about metadata assigned to items in folders?
Starting from #2, if you forget about folders, there is standard functionality that you can use to restrict, enable, ... metadata for an item. Read this chapter: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e10978/c04_metadata.htm#sthref288 to get full details.
I am not sure whether you can use anything of this functionality (profiles, option lists, etc.) when you check in a new folder. I doubt it, though. The logic of folders is slightly different - whilst e.g. profiles correspond to "content item", you don't find such a correspondence in folder's hierarchy (why a folder could not contain various content types, for instance?)
Last question is, from where you want to use this functionality - even for items. In 10g, Desktop Integration Suite's functionality was rather limited (often it was supposed that a user will just 'throw' an item to a folder, and metadata will be inherited from folders). You might have to upgrade your DIS to 11g; it should work even with 10g Content Server, but make sure you verify it before mass upgrade. In 11g, DIS should offer profiles, etc. with full capabilities.
