The Initiales request for it went smoothly but giving error while activating Delta request only.
I found one sap note 1081423 but it is applicable before 16 and Iam already on support package 16 .
Thanks and Regards .

  • Inconsistent aggregation behavior - activation will be terminated

    Hi BW Gurus
    DSO activation is failing with the error message : "Inconsistent aggregation behavior - activation will be terminated"
    Can any one please suggest on the above issue like how it will be caused and resolved
    Thanks in advance
    Venkat

    Hi....
    If u r getting error in data activation, try the below procedure
    If u want to activate the DSO the status of all the requests must be green.
    If all requests are not in green then this eeror will come.
    Right click on the DSO-> Administrator data target.
    Thaere check whrther the status of any request is yellow or red.
    May be that load going on in some other chain......just click on the Monitor icon.
    Then in the IP monitor .
    Go to the Details tab.
    Expand the Process chain node->right click ->Display messages.
    If you are loading through DTP.
    Then it will take u to the DTP monitor.......
    If PC node is not there,then go to the header tab->click on the IP->it will take u to the IP scheduler
    ->there in the Schedule tab->a Where used list icon is there,it will show u all the chains.
    If that is also not there...then that IP is not a part of any chain,may be it is an Adhoc run,
    wait until the load get completed, then repeat the DSO activation.
    If there is any red request,then first check why it failed, try to rectify the error and repeating the load.if it is not required just delete the request
    then repeat the DSO activation
    Hope this helps.......

  • Inconsistant Aggregation Behaviour - Activation Terminated

    Dear team,
    Iam facing DSO activation failure in daily process chains.
    Error Msg:Inconsistant Aggregation Behaviour - Activation Terminated.
    data is coming from 2 data sources into one DSO.
    I deleted the failed requests from DSO & again upload it from PSA and activate it individuallu...
    But in the next day load....activation fails again & I observe that yesterdays requests are also in red.
    why does this happen ?
    in dso settings --> Activate Data Automatically is checked.
    please reply if u need any further info, for better understanding of the issue.
    regards
    kv

    Hi,
    Delete the yesterdays requests as well (which are uploaded from both the data source).
    Rerun the delta loads and acttivate them manually.
    You probably for got to activate the request yesterday. the step failled in activation so all the requests which are being activated will turn red.
    try the above way it might help you.
    If we check that option, i guess the data will be activated soon after the load is done.
    Not pretty sure about this point. never tried.
    Cheers,
    Srinath.

  • Error while executing SSIS package - Error: 4014, Severity:20, State: 11. A fatal error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will be terminated (input error: 109, output error: 0)

    Hi,
    We are getting the following error when running our SSIS packages on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 R2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1:
    Error: 4014, Severity:20, State: 11.   A fatal error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will be terminated (input error: 109, output error: 0)
    SQL Server Data Tools and SQL Server Database Engine reside on the same server.
    We tried the following:
    Disabling TCP Chimney Offload
    Installed Windows Server 2008 SP1
    Splitting our SSIS code into multiple steps so it is not all one large continuous operation
    The error occurs during a BulkDataLoad task.
    Other options we are investigating with the engineering team (out-sourced, so delayed responses):
    Firewall configurations (everything is local, so this should not make a difference)
    Disabling the anti-virus scanner
    Are there other things we can try?
    Any insight is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi HenryKwan,
    Based on the current information, the issue can be caused by many reasons. Please refer to the following tips:
    Install the latest hotfix based on your SQL Server version. Ps: there is no SQL Server 2012 R2 version.
    Change the MaxConcurrentExecutables property from -1 to another one based on the MAXDOP. For example, 8.
    Set "RetainSameConnection" Property to FALSE on the all the connection managers.
    Reference:
    https://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/774370/ssis-packages-abort-with-unexpected-termination-message
    If the issue is still existed, as Jakub suggested, please provide us more information about this issue.

  • How to view active services via terminal e.g. status of AFP etc...

    Hi : )
    How do I view whether AFP is enabled or not via the terminal?
    I thought I could view /etc/hostconfig to get the answer when logged in via e.g. SSH. But in Leopard running the following terminal command:
    cat /etc/hostconfig | grep "=\-" | sort
    Always shows AFPSERVER as NO whether or not file sharing is turned on or not.
    At the top of this file, it says #this file is going away. So I'm guessing there is another / better way to view this.
    Hunting around a bit, I found that if I:
    netstat -a
    and filesharing is running, there are two entries *.afpovertcp and *.afpovert in the output.
    tcp4 0 0 *.afpovertcp . LISTEN
    tcp6 0 0 *.afpovert . LISTEN
    Turning off filesharing removes these from netstat.
    Doing the above command takes a few seconds to get a result as it seems to poll a whole range of different services and protocols, which as I'm calling this from a script I don't have time for, so if I:
    netstat -a -f inet6 | grep afp
    I get a near instantaneous result of:
    tcp6 0 0 *.afpovert . LISTEN
    if filesharing is turned on and null if it is turned off.
    Can anyone point me in a different direction? Is there another way? Or is this as good as any?
    Thanks...

    Actually, after further review, this method doesn't work as it only returns the last log entry for AFP status rather than the current status.
    E.g. the last log entry could be AFP Control: AFP Error but if the computer is then restarted, AFP Control doesn't get logged in the system log on restart. Hence the egrep command still returns: AFP Error, when in fact AFP is actually enabled and running.
    Hence back to my original question! anyone know a way to view if FileSharing is currently active via the terminal, even when there are no connected users other than:
    netstat -a -f inet6 | grep afp
    and looking for:
    tcp6 0 0 *.afpovert . LISTEN
    as the result??? Or is this a reliable method? i.e. if afpovert is present is that a hard and fast way of discovering filesharing is enabled?

  • Mac pro goes to sleep and the error  log say "The smart launch will be terminated"

    Several times in the last few days my Mac Pro early 2008 has locked up.  This occures when leave the machine and come back to it.  I see the screen is black and the only thing that I see after clicking the mouse and pressing keys on the keyboard, is the white outline of the curser that will move across the screen.  Nothing will bring the system back and my only option is to hold down the power button until the unit shuts down.
    I checked the logs in the console and the error message that I see is:  mm/dd/yy 9:49:17.719 AM SmartLaunch[31448]: The SmartLaunch will be terminated.
    Any clue where I should start looking?

    That is a great idea to check the memory temperture.  Do they have built in temperture senors and then is there a terminal command to run to check that?  Also how do I change the speed of the fans, again a terminal command?
    I was mistaken, I bought 4- 4GB memory modules, with heatsinks. (8GB were tooooo expensive)  It should be good memory but certainly I wonder as this never happened before the new memory was added, 5 or 6 weeks ago.
    My memory config is:
    2 - 1 GB (orginal whe n I got the sytem)
    2 - 2 GB added 1 year ago from OWC
    4 - 4 GB added 6 weeks ago from ??
    Good suggetions about the hard drive.   I did add a new Seagate 3TB drive a year ago when I got this machine, and I use it for all my data stoage and tunes and pixs and only use the 250GB dirve of OS and apps.  I have not installed the OS and apps on the 3TB drive and that would be an easy thing to do.

  • MDB (2-phase commit) behavior during abnormal JMS termination

    Hello to everyone!
    I plan to test the following scenario tomorrow (sort of a bug replication in our system).
    Anyway, wanted to know in advance the expected behavior (just in case one of you already know
    or have an experience related to this test). Thank you in advance.
    Scenario:
    I want to test/know the behavior of a 2-phase commit (2PC) MDB when JMS server abnormally exits
    (say the process was killed).
    Test flow:
    start app server --> deploy 2pc-mdb --> send dummy data --> kill jms process --> restart jms process
    1. will the connection be closed properly?
    2. when jms server restarts, will the value of active consumer(count) doubled?
    note: i think after mdb deployment, corresponding destination consumer count is 1.
    the problem that occurred in our system was that the consumer count doubled after server restarted.
    it seem like the previous connection was not closed when the jms server abnormally terminated.
    any inputs will be greatly appreciated.
    thanks and best regards.

    You have to use TxDataSource for container managed tx or if you are using JTA (in
    addition to ofcourse doing 2PC).

    </message-driven-destination>
    </message-driven>
    </enterprise-beans>
    </ejb-jar>
    I noticed when I set a JDBC TX DataSource to 2 Phase Commit, the JMS
    transaction
    started commitig and nothing was left pending in the Queue.
    Does 2PC have to be set in a DataSource for Container Managed MDB's to
    work?

  • Inconsistent Form Behavior on Failed Struts Validation

    So I'm working on a strange bug regarding an Edit User form for an application, where some fields revert to their default and some fields do not.
    We have a form for editing users in our system, with most of the usual information inputted in text boxes (login, first name, last name, password, password confirmation). We also have three possible levels of 'admin' - none, admin, and superadmin. These are chosen via radio buttons. There are also a couple of checkboxes (like 'user is active'). Overall, it's a fairly simple form.
    When the form is submitted, we do struts validation. We've set up the validation via comment annotation in our Java code, like so:
         * @struts.validator type="minlength"
         *                   arg1value="${var:minlength}"
         * @struts.validator-var name="minlength" value="8"
         * @struts.validator type="maxlength"
         *                   arg2value="${var:maxlength}"
         * @struts.validator-var name="maxlength" value="50"
        public void setPassword1(String string) {
            password1 = string;
        }All of the fields in our form are set from user properties, so they're initialized by the values in the user object. For example, if we had user John Smith, an admin, with login 'jsmith,' we'd have the first name and last name fields initialized to John and Smith, and the radio buttons for Admin set to 'admin.' For reference, here's the EditUser.jsp code for the radio buttons, based off of the selectedAdminRole property:
    <div class="InputElement">
            <label for="selectedAdminRole"><bean:message key="userForm.adminType"/></label>
              <html:radio styleId="selectedAdminRole" property="selectedAdminRole" value="None"
                          disabled="${userForm.loggedInUser.admin and userForm.userId == userForm.loggedInUser.id}">None</html:radio>
              <html:radio property="selectedAdminRole" value="Admin"
                          disabled="${userForm.loggedInUser.admin and userForm.userId == userForm.loggedInUser.id}">Admin</html:radio>
              <c:if test="${userForm.loggedInUser.superAdmin}">
                  <html:radio property="selectedAdminRole" value="SuperAdmin">Super</html:radio>
              </c:if>
         </div>As you can see above, the struts validator requires passwords to be at least 8 characters long. So if the user tries to change their password to something with less than that, they'll fail validation and they'll end up back on the form with the validation errors in red at the top of the page. However, the form data that they've edited will be preserved. So if John had tried to change his first name to 'Fred,' he'd still see 'Fred' in the First Name text field, even though it wouldn't actually get saved to the user object until he submitted the form with no errors. This works with radio buttons too - if John had tried to set his admin status down to 'none' from 'admin,' the radio button 'none' would still be checked. Basically, it preserves all your progress on the form until you navigate away.
    Unfortunately, it does NOT do this when you create a new user. Creating a new user uses the same form, and since there's no user object to get the fields from, they all get initialized to blank - except for one of the checkboxes ('user is active') and the radio buttons for admin (starts with 'none' checked). Now, if the user fills out the form and hits submit, but fails the struts validation, it preserves all the form data in the text fields, but reverts the checkboxes and the radio buttons to their default state.
    This leads to the following problem: say I'm trying to create a new admin, Jane Smith. I fill out the whole form, check the 'admin' button, and then enter a four-letter password. I submit, and the form fails struts validation and throws me back to the page with an error message informing me that passwords need to be at least 8 characters. I look over the form again - the login field is still 'janesmith,' the first name field is still 'Jane,' the last name field is still 'Smith,' everything looks fine except I screwed up the password. I enter an 8 letter password and resubmit. Jane then logs in and complains that she's not an admin, because I didn't notice that the 'admin' button had reset itself to the default of 'none' when I failed validation.
    My question is, why does it reset the radio buttons and checkboxes - but not the text fields - on failed validation when a new user is being created, but resets nothing at all when an existing user is being edited? I'd like it to reset none of the information when a new user is being created, but I cannot figure out the reason for this inconsistent behavior.
    If anyone can help me figure out how to get this working so that nothing gets reset - or at least explain to me the reason for this inconsistent behavior - I would be very grateful. I will also try to provide any additional information I can if this isn't enough.

    So what you are saying is that radio and checkboxes don't retain their state when validation fails?
    Checkboxes are always troublesome because of their design. If not selected, they don't submit any value - so you have to specifically unset them.
    My first instinct would be to look at the formbean which you are populating from, and see what (if anything) modifies its values.
    - for originally loading the new user page is it an action or JSP? Does it apply any default values to the form?
    - check the "input" page you redirect to when validation fails. Is it an action or a JSP?
    - is the same form being uses on the newUser jsp and whatever action you are submitting it to?
    - is there a form reset() method?
    My theory is that the "input" page you are redirecting to when validation fails is an action, and it sets some values on the form prior to loading.
    But thats just a guess at this point. Its hard to debug this without a working example. Its been a while since I worked with struts, and never with annotations providing the validation.
    Suggestion for debugging: dump the contents of the form bean at strategic points in the process to see that the values are what you think they should be.
    - running the save action
    - just after validation
    - on the jsp page.
    Hope this helps some,

It seems to me that someone has been trying to hack into my system with all of the random codes/lines in my terminal and i have all of his foreign IP addresses. And now i get this strange message that popped up in my terminal. Idk what it entirely means? I would very appreciate if someone could just walk me through this. Thank you very much.
    First time poster. I have Macbook Pro. OSX. Just downloaded the new mavericks. I'm i have my firewall on. I stay secure. I run Netbarrier, Virusbarrier, IdentityScrubber.
    I know something is a little odd or just doesn't make since about my activity monitor. Then my WiFi was hacked last night and this person was writing tons lines of commands/codes that i found in my terminal and my activity monitor doesn't look normal,  and I've only been a mac owner for about a year now and i'm learning more and more but while trying to figure out what was going on this message popped up which concerned me the most. Any help would be most appreciated, thanks guys. I have my terminal full of his foreign ip addresses i noticed, and a lot of other commands and lines he wrote out that i definitely did not type myself. Can anyone give me a hand on this? Thanks

    haha, so now i'm thinking. I'm learning the terminal as fast as i can but there are several lines of codes and commands in there that throws up red flags to me that i don't fully understand. It just looks fishy too me. It would be highly appreciated if someone could just check this out just to tell me that i don't need to worry about it. Or point me in the right direction. I just feel un easy about this. ha.

  • ASO cube aggregation behavior

    Hi All,
    We have an ASO cubes with millions of records having 10 dimensions (1 Account dimension).Few facts values are getting changed after aggregation where without aggregation, we are getting correct values.
    We are loading data from source system (Teradata) where we have rounded off values till 7 places of decimal. But when we see data at report level (WA) it displays non zero values after 7 places of decimal for few facts.
    For us it is making a huge difference as we are calculating var% value on report. The denominator value for this var% which is 0 for certain line items but due to aggregation its showing some value (0.0000000198547587458) which result very large values for var%.
    Is it the tool behavior or there is some problem with aggregation?
    Any input will be really appreciable.
    Thanks,

    What doesn't make sense to me is you don't need aggregations on level zero members as that is where the data is stored. I'm guessing oyu mean level sero members of one dimension and higher level members of other dimensions. Are those other dimensions dynamic or stored? Do you have a lot of calculations going on that are being retrieved? Have you materalized aggregations on the cube?

  • Strange HDD behavior, activity all the time?

    Hi,
    I just reinstalled arch on my tp x23 on a new seagate momentus hard drive. The installation went fine and I must say I'm very pleased with the performance so far.. except for the fact that the hard drive is almost constantly doing something and I have no idea what it is? The activity led turns off only to turn back on in a while.
    Any ideas?

    Hmm now that you mention power saving features.. I wonder if it's the hard drive going in "sleep mode" when theres little/no activity and the HDD LED lights up during spin down and spin up..  Maybe check the BIOS and disable the hard drive powerdown crap or change the timeframe.. if it works then you know where the problem lies..
    then again you are on a laptop so I'm not sure the solution outweighs the LED problem (as spinning down the hard drive will help prolong your battery life)
    It sure seems to be something like that. I also fount this thread which is (was) discussing the issue, but didn't really find a solution. Anyway, I know now what the probable cause is and if I want to change the behavior one day, I know how to do it. So a lesson learned, great!
    About the battery, I actually don't even have one at the moment, so I'm always AC-powered. But I think I'll get back to this one once I get a new battery and have a chance to test different settings. What I don't understand is that my system seems to run cooler now the power saving is turned off or at least as cool without the fan blowing all of my papers off the table Maybe it's a bug in the hd's firmware, don't know? It seems like the heads won't park properly and keep on going on and off.. That would explain the constantly lit activity led.

  • Inconsistent KVM behavior in Leopard?

    Has anyone else had problems with inconsistent behavior when using a KVM under Leopard? (Display mirroring is not enabled)
    Under Tiger, when I switched my laptop to my Cinema display, the entire contents of the display would move - dock, menubar, all applications and windows.
    Since installing Leopard, the behavior is inconsistent. The Dock and the menubar move, as do some applications. However, most applications remain on the laptop screen. Additionally, an application such as Safari, when moved to the Cinema display, still opens new windows on the laptop screen.
    Any thoughts?

    Does the delete button have a light glow around it? If it does, you can tap the space bar and that will be selected.
    If not, look in the System Preferences application, go to the Keyboard and Mouse panel, Keyboard Shortcuts tab, you'll select the Full keyboard access, both options allow this function.
    I use this tapping on the space bar for many different options in various dialog boxes throughout the OS and applications.
    This has worked at least since Tiger, may have been around longer, I don't recall. But I have used it for years and love it.
    Hope that helps.
    Joel.
