Inconsistent downloads and inability to use iTunes

I have a problem with my isa570. Ever since I started using it it sometimes takes me two or three clicks to get a website to load. Also connecting to iTunes is almost impossible. It does work sometimes but then very slowly. I have switched off application control. Can anybody help?

I apologize for your inconvenience you are having, to resolve the Itunes issue you can create an ACL allowing this web page, gs.apple.com. about your performance issue, sometimes your device CPU is at 100%, the cause of this problem could that you are overloading the device, you could have performance problems due to the amount of services you have activated, for example if you have enabled the IPS, if you have too many VPN, routes, too many access-rules and others features enabled it could affect the performance I recommend you disable the features you are not using, you can also perform a factory reset and configure just the necessary features you need. Other think that you could check is the MTU size, try with 1450.

But the iPhone 5 and the iPad mini should support HD videos.
What I would try is downloading the movies directly to your iPad mini or your iPhone. You will want to do this when connected to Wi-Fi, but you can follow these steps in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. I have two iPads and one iPod Touch and they are using iTunes on the same computer. I have not been able to backup the second iPad. Is there a reason this is happening? iPad one is an iPad 1 and the second is an iPad 2 not sure if this has something to do with it. I just tried to upgrade to IOS 5 and when it went to back up it gave me an error code (-5000). I tried to back up using iTunes and it told me that my backup was corrupted and to delete it and try to back up again. When I went into the device portion where I was instructed to go to delete the backup I found that there was no backup for my iPad just the iPad 1.
I have synced many times and all of the apps, podcasts, music, etc... show up in iTunes, and iTunes recognizes that is is the second iPad but there is not a backup for it.
Any Ideas?

After I downloaded and installed the latest iTunes upgrade (to 10.5.1), I am no longer able to download free app upgrades for the apps I have on my iPad/iPhone/iMac which i had previously purchased. Itunes tells me I "don't own the major versions".

The App Store just says I "don't own the major versions", which of course is nonsense. It seems as if Apple's iTunes/App Store has deleted my download history. Any suggestions?

Actually It doesn't. It says he's on a MacBook. I don't know all the different types of Macs. I was having a ton of problems with iChat. I opened DMZ to my computer, knocked down all firewalls etc and left everything exposed, still with bad results. A few weeks ago my power supply went out on my D-Link. I bought a linksys. Since I'd left all firewalls off I figured it couldn't be the router. I power cycled everything n the netork, still no luck. Today I bought a universal Power supply and started up my D-Link Router. Everything worked perfectly. My wifes computer - a laptop running Tiger worked fine with the Linksys and did my machine before the Leopard upgrade. Now that I've got the D-Link online everythings working.

If you are saying that you've forgotten the passcode to unlock the iPad then you will need to connect the iPad to the computer that you normally sync to and you should then be able to reset the iPad and restore/re-sync your content to it (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212) - you may need to put the iPad into recovery mode for your iTunes to be able to reset it : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808
If you do it via a different computer then :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

You can authorise up to 5 computers via iTunes by signing in with your ID.

I think you meant 10.6.8, not 10.8.6
It requires an upgrade, instead of a free update.

There are no refunds for this. Once you click buy it is bought.

I don't know exactly what they said b/c they are nolonger on my screen. It said something to the effect of "incomplete dowload, there was an eror during the dowload of *Song*".
The songs purchased were showing in my purchased list with an "exclamation point" by them, which I believe indicates the download was incomplete. I restarted iTunes and the songs are no longer on my "Purchased list".
I was still charged after restarting iTunes
