Incorrect Display of Totals (Urgent ! Plz Assist)

Hi everyone,
Please help me out as this is very urgent at the moment.
   When I display
   PLANT
   STORAGE LOC
   WAREHOUSE NO
   PROFIT CENTRE
   MATERIAL
   No of Bins -> 7338.6821235
   When I display the same report just with
   PROFIT CENTRE
   No of Bins -> 7099.809557752
   WHY IS THIS HAPPENING ?
   I suspect because No of Bins is based on a Formula variable that uses Replacement Path of Attribute MATERIAL.
So when MATERIAL is not displayed in the Report then it will not accurately display the results.
Any views on this please ? What can I do otherwise ?

I can`t change this "precision" because No of Storage Bins is a Calculated Key Figure which is based on a Formula Variable that uses Replacement Path of tyep Attribute
Even I change this to Before Aggregation it does work.
Should I try making this as a navigational attribute in my cube.
Then will I still face this problem ?

Hi, In obiee 11g, the pagination will be 1-25. Is there any possiblity in obiee to show the total rows count next to pagination. Ex: if the result contains 120 rows. it should display after the pagination

To get the number of entries in your displayed table use:
<i>DESCRIBE TABLE tab LINES wg_lines.</i>
To display the value in a ALV Grid Control, use something like this:
<i>DATA: sl_layout   TYPE lvc_s_layo.
sl_layout-grid_title = wl_lines.
CALL METHOD og_alv->set_table_for_first_display
      EXPORTING
        is_layout                     = sl_layout
        ....</i>

Displaying page total on a page with fixed number of lines

Hi ,
My requirement is to have a fixed number of rows per page (say 20) and to have a page total beneath the table containing the data.I am using a RTF template.The columns in the table are
Order
Amount
Page Total : 3000
For including a page-break after 20 lines, i have added the following code.
For - each ______________
<?if:position() mod 20 =0?> <xsl:attribute name="break-before">page</xsl:attribute> <?end if?>
end - for_______________
This limits the no of rows per page to 20.
I have tried 2 ways to display the page total but both don't seem to work Can someone please point what i am missing here?
1) Using add and show-page-total
I added the code (<?add-page-total:at;'Amount'?> to the Amount data column in the template and then used the <?show-page-total:at?> in the page total data column to display the total. But this doesnt work.It doesnt display any value.
2) Using Variables:
I declared a variable (<?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX, 'RTotalVar', 0)?>) before the table. Then, i used the (<?xdoxslt:set_variable($_XDOCTX, 'RTotalVar', xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX,'RTotalVar') +Amount)?>) in the Amount data column to calculate the sum. I then used <?if:position() mod 20 =0?> <?xdoxslt:get_variable($_XDOCTX, 'RTotalVar')?><?end if?> in the data column of the page total. But this doesnt work. The variable loses its value when it is displayed outside the table. Why is it so? How can i declare a global variable? I am not sure why the variable loses it value when taken out of the table. I would want it hold the value through out the document. Is my understanding correct?

Report in Crystal 10 incorrectly displays rows when it shouldn't

We have a problem in Crystal Reports 10 whereby the report incorrect displays 6 rows/records in the report but when we run the exact same SQL statement on its own (outside of Crystal) it does not bring back any results.

That didn't work either. I'm still getting the wrong timestamp.
But, I did try something else, with more unexpected results. Just for the heck of it, I exported my workbook to excel (the workbook showing the 12:00 AM timestamps). When I opened the Excel file, it has the Archive Date with the correct times. Very strange. I export the workbook with all 17-NOV-09 12:00 AM timestamps in every Archive Date row, and in Excel it opens with the correct dates (17-NOV-09 10:15, 10:18 and 10:23 AM). So weird.
That seems to reinforce that Discoverer can at least see the dates as they exist in the data warehouse, but for some reason, it insists on displaying 12:00 AM. And exporting the 12:00 AM results to Excel actually produces the correct times. Is this like some Java bug or something? I seem to get bit by Java problems more often than not.
***EDIT***
I shouldn't say your suggestion didn't work entirely. It worked in that I am no longer getting 17-NOV-09 12:00 AM. But, it's returning a timestamp that does not exist for the given record. For example, all 3 Nov 17th timestamps (in the Discoverer report) are now showing 17-NOV-09 10:11 AM. 10:11 AM isn't even a timestamp available in the database for any record in the table. Why did it arbitrarily pick 10:11? It seems like your suggestion to create a TO_CHAR calculation from the column is on the right track, but the 10:11 AM thing is odd.

How to display pagewise total in Oracle reports?

Hi,
I want to display pagewise total in all pages as well as report total at the last page of the report.
I have tried Reset at : Page, Print on : All pages
But nothing is working.
Please suggest what else I need to set to achieve the requirement

Create a user parameter for line count and another to hold the value of total at end of page,
create formula column in your query group, where the column to be summarised exists,
See how many lines of records/transaction can be printed on your page, count them in a formula column and when the printable record been retrived assign the total to
the user parameter you have created.
set the property 'PRINT OBJECT ON' to 'ALL BUT LAST PAGE'
put you summary item just below this field and set the property 'PRINT OBJECT ON' to 'LAST PAGE', the final total will be displayed on last page.

Hi Raj,
Is your Sender System Tibco If so Use JMS Adapter to get the Data from tibco and Use IDOC Adapter to Post in R3. For this you no need to Install any Adapter in XI System.

Could any one please intimate, how to display the total at the end of the column. For example, i have a column, "sales" as the Key figure, and it has the data for all the transactions. Now, i would like to display the total at the end of the report, below the same column.
Similarly, for all the other columns in the report, i need to display the total for all the columns in the report.

Thanks for many suggestions. I tried by providing the "Total" under "Calculate Results as" and also "Counter for all detailed values" under "Calcuate Single Values as", in the "Calculations" tab of the key figure, but i am unable to get the information. Again, i am providing the requirement below:

I have a 25 song playlist that is around 2 hours on my computer appears as 2003 minutes on my iPad. It's a smart playlist limited to 25 songs if that makes any difference. Is this happening to anyone else? Any help would be appreciated!

First make an iCal backup, File > Export > Archive.
Remove the following to the trash and restart your computer:
Home > Library > Caches
Home > Library > Calendars > Calendar Cache, Cache, Cache 1, 2, 3, etc. (Do not remove Sync Cache or Theme Cache)
Home > Library > Preferences > com.apple.ical (There may be more than one of these. Remove them all.)
__NOTE: Removing these files will remove any shared (CalDAV) calendars you may have access to. You will have to re-add those calendars to iCal > Preferences > Accounts.
Once the computer is back up and running open iCal and test.

Display the totals only at Material level in ALV

I am calculating the subtotals and totals. I am having the columns Company Code , Plant and Material etc.
First I did sort on table as :
gr_sorts = gr_table->get_sorts( ).
gr_sorts->add_sort( columnname = 'C_CODE' subtotal = abap_true ).
gr_sorts->add_sort( columnname = 'WERKS-WERKS' subtotal = abap_true ).
gr_sorts->add_sort( columnname = 'MATNR' subtotal = abap_true ).
After that I am doing the aggregation like this :
gr_agg = gr_table->get_aggregations( ).
gr_agg->add_aggregation( 'QUANTITY' ).
gr_agg->add_aggregation( 'QUANTITY1' ).
gr_agg->add_aggregation( 'DELTA' ).
It is displaying the totals and subtotals at each Company code , Plant and Material level.
But I want to display the totals only at Material level.
Guide me on the same.

Replace your code for sorting
gr_sorts = gr_table->get_sorts( ).

gr_sorts->add_sort( columnname = 'MATNR' subtotal = abap_true ).
with the code given below.

gr_sorts->add_sort( columnname = 'WERKS-WERKS' subtotal = abap_false ).

while creating the fieldcatalog pass the value 'X' to field do_sum of lvc_t_fcat( field catalog).
data: fcat type lvc_t_fcat.
fcat-fieldname = <field-name>.
fcat-ref_table = <ref-tablename>.
fcat-ref_field = <ref-fieldname>.
fcat-do_sum = 'X'.

Purchase orders item texts incorrect display

Hi everyone,
i am having a bit of a hard time solving an incorrect display of purchase orders item texts.
For an unknown reason, i can't manage to modify the item's text of a purchase order, it's as it has been set on "display".
I checked AKTH, ME21,ME21N and PT0F( the item i use) on spro :
Materials Management=>Purchasing =>Purchase Order= > Define Screen Layout at Document Level => Reference data item for the texts and it's always set on Optionnal Entry.
I even tried to set them on Requested Entry but i didn't manage to get the text-item field modified.
Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Yes i did, thanks.
I found the answer: when the item-text is set on Requested Entry, sap considers it as if it was set on dispalay.
I set the item text in AKTH, ME21,ME21N and PT0F on OPptional entry and i can modify it again.
