Incorrect file name within folder

I have saved a series of Captivate v4 projects in a folder. I have saved the projects with their relevant names. I have updated the project info details on each project to correctly reflect the name of the project chapter etc.
Can anyone explain why then, when I place my mouse pointer over any of the projects in the folder, for example "CBT Ops Aware KN Login v2_4 Ch6", the pop up "info" window shows the title "v2 KN LoginBooking Sea with OL-C-CBT...." ? This is the name of another project I created, but back in Feb 2010 !.
Where is this "old" file name coming from and why is is attached to an unrelated project ?
NEL

I followed (to the letter) your instructions and it did not fix the issue.
However, after having tried your suggestion, I did a right click on the project, and in Properties/Summary I can see the "incorrect file name:
I might have copied and then edited the new project titled "CBT Ops Aware..." from an old project titled "v2 KN Login..." as displayed now in the Summary Title panel, so maybe this is where it all stems from.
Whilst this is not a show stopper, any ideas why the new project has not overwritten the old project name in the properties summary panel ?
Could it have other knock-on effects ?

    OS:Windows7
    Reader: Adobe Reader X
    I've tried a couple of other versions and still get the same results...

    Are you downloading the file (right-click, save link as), or just opening it by clicking it?
    If the latter, then what happens is the file is loaded to the temporary internet files folder by IE and assigned a temporary name, which is then used when you're trying to save it.
    You can test this out by going to File - Document Properties before trying to save and looking at the file's location.

  • Allowable Characters in the file names within Oracle iFS

    What characters are allowable in file names within Oracle iFS?
    Are slashes (/ \) possible?
    Thanks,

    Be carefull with file and directory names in iFS. You might be able to create folders and add document to it through the web interface that the windows explorer interface might not be able to interpret. Like a directory named '.'.

  • Incorrect file name when downloading an attachment on MSIE 6.0

    Hi guys,
    Need some help, please,
    In a web application on a user request a CVS file is generated with a servlet.
    The problem is that when the user press the download button in the file dialog appears an incorrect file name ( instead of the right one, the name of the struts-action ), this is happening only in MSIE, with Firefox is working ok.
    Here is the snippet:
    response.setContentType("application/download");
    response.setHeader("Pragma","");
    response.setHeader("Cache-Control","");
    String externNo = "some_file_name";
    response.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=\""
    + externNo + ".csv\"");
    ... setting the content ...
    I've found lots of topics about this subject, and try different settings for servlet header ( Cache-Control - public,etc), but still without success.
    Can this be from a server setting?? We have 2 j2ee serversone on linux and one on windows. And the problem is only for the linux server, which I'm not sure if it have the same configuration.
    Thank You
    A nice day!

  • Incorrect file name when importing pictures from camera

    I am using PE 10 on Mac Snow Leopard.
    When I import pictures from my camera and select "Rename Files" with "Custom Date" + "Shot Date" (any format), the file name includes the custom name correctly, but the date part of the file name is some random date (with a weird year: 1913, 1969). Note the example shown on the Photo Downloader is usually the one used. The shot date in the meta data is usually correct. This appears to be similar to a problem when using the "Create Subfolder" option.
    Any ideas why or a work-around?
    I was using PE 8 and did not have this problem.

    Hi dannrendon2,
    Have you successfully run the PSE10_Hot.dmg file? You will not see any change in PSE10 or PhotoDownloader , it is just for fixing the issue of incorrect date format .
    Please follow all the steps mentioned in KB article link mentioned above. Finally when you installed the updater there would be a message of successful installation .
    If there is a failure in your updating process [In your case it is second attempt of updation, there may be a failure] , uninstall your application , check if there is any residual file in application folder under Elements Organizer or Photoshop Elements (delete them). Now again install PSE10 and try to update PSE10_HotFix.dmg updater. There should be a successfully completed message.
    Thanks,

  • How can I set the file name and folder for output to PDF from another application?

    I am developing an application in Microsoft Access where the printed reports are to be saved in PDF format for archive purposes. I can send the output to Adobe X, but the default file name is the Access report name and the folder selected is the one last used.
    What I need to do is to create the file with a specific name (which changes for each run) and to a specific folder (which also changes for each run).
    The language I'm using is Visual Basic for Applications which is located in an Access form that controls the report production.
    Any suggestions, please?

    Got it - many thanks.

  • Save As with suggested file name and folder

    I would like the user to be able to press a save button on the pdf and the "Save As dialogue box" pops up pre-populated with a file name and location choosen. The user can then choose to name the file something otherwise or select a new location. I would just like to save them the steps of copying the field data and finding the correct folder (deeply buried on server) however to place the finished document in.
    This doesn't seem to require a trusted function, but how do I suggest the file name based on a field name in the document. And how do I suggest the folder the document should be saved into?
    Thanks in adavance.

    Hi,
    you need a folder level script to use the browseForDoc method.

  • Need to reference file name within the XML Output

    Not sure if this is possible, as I'm new to the livecycle/XML world. But I need to be able to reference a file within the XML output from the PDF.
    The Scenario is that a pdf form of a business card will be issued to 50 franchisees for them to type in their names and mobiles, click submit and the XML file to be sent to myself, and be imported in to InDesign populating their data ready for printing. Up to here I have it working perfectly.
    However as each franchisee have a combination of up to 5 logos to place in the bottom corner to save having to have various templates with different combinations of logos and having to ensure the correct templates are used. I intend to reference each companies combination as an EPS and make the reference within the xml out and have it import directly in with the other data. I can type the code directly within the xml but I would like to have the form reference it directly in the xml output. Is this possible or am expecting to much of livecycle? Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

  • How to get JSP file name within a servlet?

    I wonder is there any method that we could use to print out the JSP's file name which called a servlet within the servlet itself? For instance, A.jsp called B.class which is a servlet, and when the servlet is being invoked print out "A.jsp" or "A" in a dos screen.
    Thanks for any reply.

    The Referer is an optional HTTP header, and it only exists when a page is called from an hyperlink (i.e. from another web page). The general meaning of Referer is the "caller page". There at least two situations in which there will be no Referer header:
    1. When the usuer types in the destination page address directly, or get it from a bookmark/favorite or similar. Since there is no caller page, there would be no Referer.
    2. Althought browsers usually send the referal page when you choose a link, some privacy control programs (such as Norton Internet Security etc.) can intercept the request and strip out the Referer header, even when there is a caller page.

  • 2 problems in iWeb - file name & unwanted folder at server.

    I've been using RapidWeaver but now want to use iWeb for a new site for the first time and have encountered 2 problems.
    (1) I need to change the index file of the site to index.php from index.html. How can I do that? It can be done easily in RW in the Page Inspector but I can't seem to find any way in iWeb to get to the file name. I have to go to the server directly and edit it there via my account control panel.
    (2) When I upload the site files via FTP it creates a new folder in the site folder at the server... so instead of www.sitename.com being the url, it creates www.sitename.com/sitename/ which I can't find a way to stop happening, and it's an unnecessary added complication to original url.
    Any help appreciated, thank you in advance.

    After publishing you can change the extension.
    To use PHP in your iWeb pages read this: http://www.wyodor.net/Ajax
    creates a new folder in the site folder at the server
    To learn about the concept of Sites in iWeb and how to avoid the iWeb Sitename in the URL, read my blogs :

  • Dynamic file name within 1:n mapping

    Dear all,
    I have a 1:n mapping and would like to use dynamic file names.
    I searched the forum but found just some few anserws.
    As far as I can determine, it is not possible to use dynamic file names for multiple target messages, right?
    We are using a 3rd party adapter (SFTP) that doesn't support variable substitution.
    Is there another way?
    Thanks
    Chris

    >>As far as I can determine, it is not possible to use dynamic file names for multiple target messages, right?
    I am afraid you are correct.
    >>Is there another way?
    One option I could think is have an adpter module and adding the dynamic configuration there.
    I personally have not tried this option. But I dont see any reason, why this approach would fail.
    If I am correct, the message is passed to the module chain after the split. So the above logic should work.
    I will be glad if you can try and let me know the results
    Regards
    Jai
    P.S: Let me know if you need any help creating the module. The coding should be so simple and not more than 10 lines

  • How to create a unique file name within a main()?

    I am creating a file using a button inside the main() .
    Each time the button is clicked, new file should be created.
    The file names should be distinct and differ in a number that follows the name for ex. MyFile1.txt, MyFile2.txt, MyFile3.txt and so on.
    Any ideas?
    thanks

    I think you want that last line to readwhile (f.exists())  // note the absent "!"since your loop as coded will end up with a filename that does exist rather than one that does not exist. You might also tryint counter=0;
    File f=null;
    do
      f=new File("myfile" + counter++);
      while (!f.createNewFile()) // This will only create a file if it doesn't already exist.
    Caution! You can't use the counter after you create the file because the counter will already be the next number. You can use f.getName(), or if you have a psychological need to use the counter, prefix the "++" and start with -1 (or just skip 0)

  • Duplicate file names within iphoto

    Hi
    I have replaced my camera (my one year old son threw it in the bath!!!) and since the swap over i didnt think that there would be conflict in file names. It was either this or the crashing of my hard drive( i did have a back up of all my photos) and when i reimported them onto my computer strange things happened. In spotlight i can find up to 10 different pictures with the same name and then _1 or _2 etc added to the end. Curiously all these photos are dated the 14 jan 04 which has no relevance to the date the hard drive crashed - it crashed around the end of last year. I had backed up onto a pc server - not sure if that contributed to the file name mix up or loss of date. All the creation dates are gone but the modified date is 14/1/04.
    Now what happens is if a scroll through iphoto i can see pictures and then they change before my eyes. Also if i click on a photo another one is brought up usually the oldest photo.
    Is there a quick fix or do i need to remove all my photos and delete the library and start again?
    Hopefully someone can help
    Thanks
    Brendan

    Hello,
    This is a by-product of the MathScript implementation.  Basically, there are two matrix datatypes being used under the hood.  We are working to eliminate this issue, but you can safely ignore the warnings.  You will need to bring both folders along with your built application.

  • Incorrect file name while downloading it with JDK1.4

    Hello people!
    I'm facing a strange problem in my downloading servlet with JDK1.4 and Tomcat4.1 when trying to set Cyrillic file name: download window pops up with some abracadabra name. After I click "Open" twice the file opens correctly. It never happens with JDK1.3.
    Some backward compatibility feature from SUN???
    Here is the code:
    res.setContentType("application/octet-stream; charset=windows-1251");
    res.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=\"" + fileName + "\"");

    I'm almost sure it's a bug in Tomcat 4.1. All you have to do is to switch from 4.1 to 4.0 and the problem is fixed. We also checked what line goes to the response header - it's correct.
    Did I mention this problem happens even with Latin charactes? The file name is correct but download box opens twice.
