    Incorrect link to "OS X: How to migrate data from another Mac using Mountain Lion and earlier". Should be http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6025

    I think the OP is saying OS X: How to migrate data from another Mac using Mountain Lion and earlier (which should be a link to HT4889) just links back to OS X: How to migrate data from another Mac using Mavericks (HT5872).
    It does indeed do that, & HT4889 seems to be MIA.

  • How to unlink an image in LR that was incorrectly linked?

    I incorrectly linked an image when trying to locate  and link it to the original file.  The consequence seems to be that the entire LR catalog cannot be linked as it usually is when one image is located.  It can be linked one at a time, but that will take too long as I have almost 1000 images in this LR catalog.  Perhaps if the wrong link to one of the images is corrected, the entire LR file can be easily linked back to the originals??

    I clicked on the little rectangle on the upper right hand corner of the
    first image in the LR catalog.  It asks
    Do you want to locate file?  I click "Locate" and point to the original
    file.  Typically, ALL the images in the LR catalog are also automatically
    located, all the little rectangles disappear.  In the current situation,
    only one image is located, not all the others even though I checked the box
    "Locate nearby missing images".  So, am stuck now!

  • Incorrect Link of Execute Work item in External Notification

    Hello Experts,
    I am working with the HCM Processes and Forms and used Standard Task TS17900101 in workflow, for Approve/Reject Forms.
    Everything is working fine (form gets approved/rejected from UWL).
    Now I configured, SWNCONFIG for sending the external notifications, and notifications are also being sent. But when pressing the "Execute Work Item" link from external inbox, I am getting the error:
    ===========================================================
    "Service cannot be reached".
    What has happened?
    URL http://xyz.abc.com:1234/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/pa~asr~formstep/ApproveFormApp call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
    ===========================================================
    Since, the task seems to be bound with Java web Dynpro application ApproveFormApp by looking at SWFVISU task visualization, Do I need to do any kind of addition in Services (SICF).
    Or I am missing something in SWFCONFIG.
    Kindly suggest asap.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Jimit Vadher

    Hi Rob,
    Thanks for the note number.
    Let me tell you one more thing is, I have created customized Web Dynpro ABAP application, bound it with the newly created custom Task (for User decision), and used inside the Workflow.
    So when I am sending the Notification of this custom task to External email, Correct link is being generated and working fine for agent.
    But this is not working only for the standard task (TS17900101), I mentioned in my question above.
    So still any service activation is pending? As per the Note, I checked ICF service and found it inactive.
    Is activation required for ICF service, as custom notifications are already going & working fine.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Jimit.

  • Incorrect link for "Oracle9i Release 2 for Windows Server 2003 (32-bit)

    Hi. Go to here http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/oracle9i/index.html
    Then, under "Oracle9i Release 2 (9.2.0.1)", try to download "Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise/Standard/Personal/Client Edition for Windows Server 2003 (32-bit). It just gives you a patch. It's not the correct link. Where is the full CD images!
    Compare this to the 64-bit version under "Oracle9i Release 2 (9.2.0.2). This does have 2 big CD images.
    Can you fix the link? I need the software for Windows Server 2003 (32-bit). Thanks.

    Yes, it's a little confusing but it's all in the release notes on that page. Basically, you need to install 9.2.0.1 for WinNT/2000 first and then apply the patch to bring it up to v9.2.0.3 for Windows 2003.

  • ITunes Library incorrectly linked to Mounted Server

    Hi there,
    I've got a huge problem. I, foolishly, tried to share my iTunes library between my iMac and MacBook yesterday doing the following:
    1. In System Preferences I added both my iTunes Music folder, which is located on an external hard drive and holds all my media files and my iTunes Library files, which are located locally on my iMac (Home - Music - iTunes)
    2. On the MacBook, I opened iTunes and then under the preferences, selected the iTunes Music folder which now showed up within the finder when I selected the Shared - iMac option.
    3. I then optioned click iTunes on the MacBook Pro and selected the iTunes Library as shared above (again, it showed up in Finder under the Shared option, where I clicked on the iMac symbol and was then able to pick the library folder).
    On the MacBook Pro, when I now open iTunes it properly shows my iTunes library as it used to be on the iMac and when I add songs it adds them wirelessly to the external hard drive and updates the library, playlist, play count etc.
    So far so good. That is what I wanted. Well at least until I went back to my iMac opening iTunes there and now while all the songs are still listed (including the new ones I added from the MacBook), all the songs in iTunes on the iMac have the exclamation mark next to them.
    Double clicking a song brings up to boxes then. The first box says: "Connection failed. The server "iMac" is available on your computer. Access the volumes and files locally." When i hit okay, i then get a second box coming up saying "The Song "XYZ" could not be used because the original file could not be found. Would you like to locate it?". If I hit Locate, I can go through to the external hard drive selecting the song and it plays, but my iTunes library is fairly extensive so it's not feasible to do that with all the songs.
    What I think happened is that somehow the iTunes library files have been updated so to link to the iMac as a mounted 'server volume' when on the home network and while this works fine on the MacBook, the iMac still seems to link to the 'network' twin of its files rather than using the 'normal' library stored on its hard drive.
    Is there any way I can revert back to the original set up - i.e. have my iTUnes library on my iMac, not sharing it etc. I've tried to remove the shared folders under the system preferences etc but nothing works so I'm a bit stuck as the last thing I want to do is to remove all the songs from iTunes and re-add them as I would like to keep the order they were added as well as the play count, dates and all that.
    Thank you soo much for any help anyone can offer.

  • Incorrect link to version of PS in Prefs of LR4

    I have a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit OS
    I have Photoshop 12.1 [extended version]; Photoshop 13 Beta; Lightroom 4
    I originally had Photoshop 12 [standard version] when I loaded Lightroom 3 and Lightroom 4.  When LR 4 beta was upgraded to the current version, I uninstalled LR3 and Photoshop 12.0 as I had the extended version of PS and it was [and is] working correctly.  However, here is where the problem exists with LR4.  It points to the standard version of PS 12 in Edit|Preferences|External Editing.  I do not know how to point the software to the current version of PS or even the Beta version of PS 13.
    If you look at the top, it states that it is looking for Photoshop CS5 instead of Photoshop CS5.1 so the option is grayed out on any image opened in LR4.
    How do I change this pointer to the correct location?

    Sorry but that did NOT correct the problem.  I have even rebooted following installation but it still shows the original folder.

  • Links going to wrong place

    I have created a simple photography slideshow website to showcase some of my photography.
    Unfortunately I have run into a problem with my link bar at the top of my website, in the mobile and tablet version  this menu bar works fine but in my desktop version the weddings tab takes you to the home screen.
    I have exported to html and the weddings.html doesn't exist, which is the problem.
    I have tried using a menu bar from the widgets but this hasn't worked either, I have also tried to delete and redo the page but this hasn't worked either.
    Any help on this would be much appreciated as I am starting to lose faith in what is otherwise a brilliant product.
    A new issue is that the index.html file doesn't have any styling but if you link to the other pages they are fine and if you preview in browser it is also ok.
    the site is a http://seansshots.businesscatalyst.com/index.html
    Thanks,
    Sean

    Please make sure index.html (Home page) has a Master page associated to it. There is no weddings.html that physically exists, make sure you don't have the "Export Page" option unchecked in page's context menu in Plan mode. Also, it appears that you're simply using a block of links acting as a menu and hence have incorrectly linked "Weddings" to index.html. You might want to use the Menu widget for the purpose of creating a navigation menu that mirrors the structure of your site in Plan view and automatically assigns and maintains all the page names and links for menus and submenus.
    If the above doesn't fully resolve the issue, do an upload of all pages from Publish Options (and not just modified).
    Thanks,
    Vinayak

  • Word TOC Links are shifting

    This is a new one for me.  I am using Word 2003 and Acrobat 8.1.3.
    I have a 500 page Word document that is a Master Document containing 13 subdocuments.  When I PDF it using PDFMaker, all of the TOC entries are hyperlinked, but this is where it gets strange.  Up until around page 113, the hyperlinks work perfectly.  After that, they start to shift so that when you click on an entry that should jump to the top of page 114, it jumps to the middle of page 115.  It continues to get worse from there, so by the end of the document, the link jumps to a point about 7 pages beyond the point it should.
    If you use Ctrl + Click in Word, the entries are all fine, so it appears to be something that is happening during the conversion.
    Has anyone seen anything like this before?
    Thanks.
    Rob

    Hello everyone,
    I am facing the very same problem (Word TOC links are shifting in the PDF file, the longer the file, the greater the shift - first only by one page and then growing up to a shift of 4-5 pages with a 150p document). Xrefs and other links within the file are not affected, only the TOC.
    I use Adobe Standard 8.1.6 (only updated from 8.1.1 yesterday, installing the updates chronologically). Word is 2003 with XP (SP3).
    I have gone over the Acrobat settings a zillion times, everything is as it used to be about six months ago when PDFing was still working fine.
    Also I followed all sorts of advice such as eliminating any Standard.dots on the machine but one, setting to the Adobe PDF printer before updating the TOC, tags are off, reflow is off, a.s.o.
    Yesterday, a closer look at the TOC links using the Acrobat link tool revealed that the links on the page numbers work just fine, only the links on the paragraph titles and paragraph numbers are off target. Created in one and the same PDF and from one and the same Word file.
    I cannot remember when the problem started because I mostly tested the links in the TOC from the page numbers and not from the titles... So I may have published many PDF files with this error. What I do remember is that a couple of months ago, when Acrobat converted its first Word file of the day, it started to convert and then broke off without displaying any message. Starting the conversion again produced the PDF file. This is the only change I ever noticed and it persists until today.
    Funny thing is, I have another identical Acrobat installation on a different PC which was installed at the same time but is not used very much and is not connected to the network. It has not been updated from 8.1.1 and everything works fine on that machine. Acrobat (or Word?) do not "misbehave".
    Anyway, so far I sat here for hours changing the incorrect links (the PC with the correct Acrobat outcome is not available to me all the time) using the link tool and today I found a solution which is considerably faster and less cumbersome: I simply delete all the links on the text and the paragraph numbers and then drag the left border of the page number link boxes all the way across the text and the paragraph numbers to the left. The TOC then has links that cover the entire line, saving the trouble of editing each one of them.
    It's nothing but a workaround and does not solve the problem but I thought I'd share...

  • Linking to a pdf from an ebook

    A curious problem:
    Using hyperlink panel, I referenced a "pdf" within a document and exported to epub. The epub highlights link as a hyperlink, but either does nothing or jumps back to previous entry in content list.
    I opened up the epub and added the pdf file to "Misc" folder and linked to it using standard "a ref" code, as in:
    <p class="text"><a href="/Misc/Harriman97LakesE.pdf"><span class="txtbital">Lakes Chart</span></a></p>
    Adobe Digital Editions simply crashes when I hit the hyperlink, and Firefox "e" addon pushes to next item in content list.
    I'm missing something simple here, but can't figure it out . . . any ideas?

    After a little extra research, I'm sure you are correct; it's the format rather than an incorrect link. The issue is a large table in InDesign that would be unusable, I think, in an epub; my thinking was to make it an external file that would be linkable. Perhaps an image . . .
    Thanks for the response

  • Runtime error related to incorrect reference passing

    Hi All,
    Very strange problem this one, I know exactly what the problem is (I knew it was 1 of 2 things instantly), but have no idea why the JVM is doing it!!! The short answer is Java is incorrectly passing some values by reference. It is incorrectly linking some objects when it shouldn't. Even worse looking at the memory address they are different objects in different memory sectors, so why are they linked???????
    Details:
    I'm building a simple little app just to brush up on my Java, at the moment it using RMI, Swing, SAX & JDBC, but none of these are particular importatly for my problem.
    In the DB I hold a table of roles (CODE + DESC). To access the DB I've written various CLASS_NAMEORM classes that do my Object to Relational Mapping.
    One of these methods queries the DB for all the roles, and then builds a Role Object for it, before adding it to a Vector. The return for the method is the Vector [Typed as a List] so I can use it in the Swing GUI object to populate a ComboBox for selection.
    The method returns the List as I would expect but, the List is always populated with the same Role object.
    This is of course pointed to 1 of 2 problems:
    I wasn't calling Iterator.next() in my method
    The objects I was adding to the Vector were by reference, so they were in fact the "same"
    Looking at my code I quickly ruled out 1, and 2 doesn't make any sense either as I initialise the Role object in a While loop, so the JVM should causes a new Object to be created in a sector of memory.
    The code I'm using is:
       * Method to return all the roles in the system
       * @throws SQLException
       * @return List
      public List getAllRoles() throws SQLException{
        String SQLQuery;
        SQLQuery = "SELECT cd_role, ds_role FROM TB_ROLE ORDER BY cd_role;";
        SQLResults = theStatement.executeQuery(SQLQuery);
        Vector results = new Vector();
        while (SQLResults.next()){
          Role role;
          role = new Role(SQLResults.getString("cd_role"),SQLResults.getString("ds_role"));
          results.add(role);
        SQLResults.close();
        return results;
      }Now this returns a List where all the objects contain the last element. Well that's what I thought till I watched the debugger. Things get a little strange from here on here..... you need to read this carefully!!
    On of the first loop the role is initialised to a Role object containing "Admin" "Adminstrator" (in the variables) held at memory location 72d
    The role then gets added to the Vector so Vector[0] = Role.role@72d = "Admin" "Adminstrator"
    On of the second loop the role is initialised to a Role object containing "MTH_MHGR" "Method Manager" (in the variables) held at memory location 72e. (Note the different memory adress!)
    At this point instantly the variables of the first element of the Vector also becomes "MTH_MHGR" "Method Manager", yet according to the debugger the role items are not related because they are in different memory locations!!
    The role then gets added to the Vector so Vector[0] = Role.role@72d = "MTH_MNGR" "Method Manager", Vector[1] = Role.role@72e = "MTH_MNGR" "Method Manager"
    Now this puzzles me greatly as the JVM should not be doing this....... any insight would be most welcome!!!
    Out of interest a near identical method in another of my ORM classes works fine!!!
       * Method to get all the tests in the DB
       * @throws SQLException
       * @return List
      public List getAllTests() throws SQLException{
        String SQLQuery;
        SQLQuery = "SELECT cd_test, ds_test, fl_repetitive FROM TB_TEST ORDER BY cd_test;";
        SQLResults = theStatement.executeQuery(SQLQuery);
        Vector results = new Vector();
        while (SQLResults.next()){
          Test test;
          test = new Test(SQLResults.getString("cd_test"),SQLResults.getString("ds_test"), SQLResults.getBoolean("fl_repetitive"));
          results.add(test);
        SQLResults.close();
        return results;
      }

    sorry guys hit post, rather than preview..... there's a more correct version (where I cleaned up the English)

  • Link Checking Issue

    I have been having problems with the link checking on my site
    background: I had in the past used a lot of relative links
    for my php includes, I have had to switch them to be root based.
    This is due to problems I have had with people who use contribute
    (3.1 no upgrade for them in site). For some reason the relative
    links where being rewritten which caused issues when people editted
    the pages in contribute.
    So some links look like /homepages/blah/blah/file.php
    or they are variables $top_title
    or a combination
    $path_info/file.php.
    Well these all come up in dreamweaver as broken links so it
    is near impossible to link check for incorrect links since there
    are just tons of "bad links" that come up.
    Anyone have any suggestions?

    No funky codecs and the fonts are all okay.  I still have AE CS4
    installed and it runs just fine.  I would switch back if I hadn't
    already built an entire program in CS5.  CS5 also crashes quite a
    bit.  One other note: When the spinning ball ends (after about 2
    minutes), the mouse is always crazy for a several seconds.  It
    highlights everything no matter what panel I'm in.  I have to hit esc
    several times and cycle through different tools to get it back to
    normal.

  • Link Checker problem

    DW CS3 (Mac): Previous versions of DW allowed you to check
    all links site-wide, and (if a link was broken) to change it in the
    Link Checker window. (Normally this would crash in DW MX..) With
    CS3 double clicking on the incorrect link appears to open the file
    instead of correctly all instances of the incorrect link.
    Is there a fix for this bug?

    With CS3 double clicking on the incorrect link
    > appears to open the file instead of correctly all
    instances of the incorrect
    > link.
    That's the way it's always behaved.
    In the results window, there are three ways to fix the broken
    link.
    double clicking on the filename opens that file to that
    link's spot in code
    and design view.
    clicking in the link box line and hand typing the link, then
    clicking on
    some other result in the list will fix all instances of that
    error (if you
    click okay to the popup)
    clicking the folder icon on the far right of that results
    line and picking a
    file using the browse to file dialog box, then clicking on
    some other result
    in the list will fix all instances of that error (if you
    click okay to the
    popup)
